Ripoff Lando-I

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Weather Ball / Psychic / Sludge Wave
- Calm Mind
- Earth Power
- Focus Blast

You remember how fierce Lando-I was when it was released into OU for the first few weeks of the Crown Tundra? This is what happens when the Therian form tries to mimic its success. Weather Ball is really useful on rain/hail to snipe either opposing Lando-T/Garchomp, or in the case of rain Weather Ball, hitting Moltres super effectively is valuable. The main moves you'll be clicking are Earth Power and Focus Blast. Focus Blast is important against targets such as Hydreigon, and Blissey, but more often than not, it can have overlapping coverage with Earth Power, so you could replace this with Sludge Wave to hit grasses, and fairies, or Psychic if you really hate Buzzwole.

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Landorus-T Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Toxapex: 367-432 (120.7 - 142.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Sorry for being late! The voting is finished, and by its results, the winner of the Cycle 37 is SubToxic by AM. Congratulations! Your submission will be added to the Hall of Fame soon. And let's move on!

Cycle Thirty Eight - Latios
:ss/latios:

Latios at all times has been posing a serious offensive threat thanks to its solid both Speed tier and Special Attack stat as well as access to strong STAB moves and coverage options. This generation Latios even was gifted with two immensely valuable additions to movepool - Aura Sphere, which dents its eternal nemesis Tyranitar and also hits the likes of Heatran, and Mystical Fire, which makes up for the loss of Hidden Power Fire. Latios doesn't lack a defensive utility too, with its typing, Recover, and Levitate allowing it to check some dangerous offensive Pokemon and granting it more opportunities to get in the game and wreak havoc. Latios typically uses some wallbreaking sets like Choice Specs and Life Orb but also can take advantage of its Speed tier even more by using Choice Scarf. What other cool options can you guys suggest on this Pokemon? Show them here!

The deadline is Monday 21st of December. Good luck!

Banned deucer.
dragon dance + scale shot

:ss/Latios:
Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature

- Dragon Dance
- Scale Shot
- Earthquake

- Recover

This :latios: -Set is there for sweeping late-game through a team when the opposing Pokemon are weakened beforehand during the game.
Latios can excell pretty decently as a setup sweeper as Dragon Dance grants it a +1 in its Attack and Speed stat and Scale Shoft gives it another boost in its Speed stat, which means it can outpace the entire metagame after a Dragon dance + the additional boost from Scale Shot. Earthquake hits Steel-type Pokemon such as Magnezone, Heatran, and Melmetal. It also hits Ferrothorn for neutral damage.

This set can excell well with teammates such as Rillaboom, Tapu Koko, Hawlucha, Magearna, Spectrier, and Landorus.Therian as its teampartners, as Tapu Koko grants it screens and helps Hawlucha to set-up via its Electric Terrain, which immediately activates Unburden. Rillaboom and Magearna are in general a great offensive partnership, and Landorus.T is a great Stealth Rocker and Suicide Lead. Latios appreciates that offensive support and these teammates and such straightforward offensive teams can work pretty well in the current metagame.

Trick + Ring Target

Latios (M) @ Ring Target
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Roost

Removes the Fairy immunity to Dragon and Dark-types to Psychic. In case the opponent switches to a Steel type, Nidoking can take advantage using Sludge Wave more easily without have to thing about Earth Power and the opponent switches into a Flying. Also Spectrier aprecies Blissey vulnerable to Ghost.
In short, Latios attracts a lot of Mon with some immunity and can take advantage for himself or partners.

Edit: If someone was in doubt, Ring target does not affect Abilities, so Levitate is intact.

P.S.: I have now discovered that Heal Block is non-existent in Generation VIII. R.I.P..

Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Calm Mind
- Stored Power

- Dragon Pulse

- Agility

This is more of a hyper offense set if anything. It works like Magearna's Shift Gear + Calm Mind set but just without the shift gear, however the cool thing is would be the fact that Latios has STAB on its Stored Power and when boosted with Soul Dew, that shit is going to send a lot of stuff flying. I don't really think its hard to support either, since I feel this is more of a hyper offense set than a balance or bulky offense set, so screens will always help. I feel this set has a lot of promise and I feel people could probably use it on their hyper offense team once in a while.

Suicide Lead Latios
:bw/latios: :xy/latios:

Latios (M) @ Focus Sash / Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tailwind / Reflect
- Memento
- Thunder Wave / Light Screen
- Dragon Pulse / Draco Meteor

This is a good lead for hyper offensive teams that pack frail hard-hitting threats that appreciate Memento + Screens / Tailwind support. It is best paired with fast hazard stackers, namely Mew, to ensure your offensive teammates can get on the right track, and put on the pressure. EVs are pretty straightforward, they power up your dragon STAB while making you as fast as possible. Mons that can benefit from this include Urshifu, Swords Dance Landorus-Therian, and basically any offensive threat in OU lol.

Amphios (Latios) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 80 SpD / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Mystical Fire
- Roost/Substitute

A.K.A: Bulky CM Latios

Explanation: This set works similarly to CM Fini and Spectrier. Bulky CM allows it to 1v1 opposing CM sweepers thanks to Mystical Fire and some bulk investment. 252 HP and 80 SpD + SpA reductions from Mystical Fire allows Latios to setup on non-LO Clef, Fini, non-NP Hydreigon, non-Bug Buzz Volc. It can even live a Specs Fleur Cannon from Mag if it’s hit by Mystical Fire and Recover it up. If you want to laugh at Toxic Tran or play mind games around Blissey Substitute over Recover gives it enough safety to setup on them. 176 speed evs lets it outrun max speed Volc.

Calcs:
