XY OU OU Offensive Balanced Team

With the banning of Mega Mawile, I was forced to come up with a new team. I decided to build one with Mega Pinsir instead. I've reached around 1500 with this team, but can't seem to make it to the 1700s or top 500. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Feint
- Return
- Earthquake

The only setup sweeper on the team, Mega Pinsir functions as my only answer to Mega Venusaur, which otherwise walls this team. I use feint over quick attack as it helps me KO Talonflame after stealth rocks if I can get to +2, as well as pick off weakened Dragonites before they e-speed me. I usually run Moxie, but rarely get the actual boost; it is more for baiting switches which I try to anticipate and double switch to a check/counter.

Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Thundurus serves as my fallback plan to a lot of setup sweepers. Since this team has no scarfer, Thundurus with priority t-wave is my only way of dealing with greninja, DD zard-x and gyarados, as well as other scarfed threats. Boltbeam coverage is run to deal with threats like Landorus-T and Gliscor, although I have considered switching to HP flying for Mega Venusaurs. Finally, taunt is run to break stall and prevent hazards/status.

Scizor @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Defog
- Roost
- Pursuit

Scizor is my defensive wall and defogger. With great typing and stats, Scizor can usually get off a defog against most things except for fire types (see Heatran). Roost is for reliable recovery, Bullet punch is run for priority STAB and fairies. I’m very unsure about that last move. I’ve tried running Knock Off and U-Turn as well, but I ended up settling on Pursuit just to trap weakened pokemon.

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Secret Sword
- Scald

Keldeo is my main damage dealer. Choice specs Hydro Pump does a lot of damage even if it is resisted, while Secret Sword helps me deal with Chansey and Blissey. Hidden power Electric is for Gyarados and Azumarill, and Scald is a safer option with a nice secondary chance to burn. Keldeo is also my best way to deal with a +2 Bisharp.

Heatran-legendary-pokemon-31489439-1000-600.jpg
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Roar
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power

My Heatran runs the standard special wall set, completing my defensive core. I chose Heatran because he has great synergy with Scizor and walls Latios (without hp fighting), which usually counters most of my team. Heatran is also my main Talonflame counter, although I am 3hko’d by the banded variant. In terms of moves, Stealth Rock and Roar helps me phaze out a lot of setup sweepers and deal a lot of damage to teams that don’t have an answer to this pokemon. Lava plume is my STAB attack and has a chance to burn, while I run earth power for opposing Heatran.

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Tomb
- Spore

I run Breloom since my team desperately needs grass coverage. I have few things to deal with Rotom-Wash and those annoying water/ground pokemon (Quagsire, Seismitoad, etc.) and Breloom handles all of them perfectly. Mach Punch is a great priority move that helps me deal with Sand Rush Breloom and Bisharp, just to name a few. Rock Tomb and focus sash serves as a last resort against Talonflame, while Spore is great for stopping a sweep or just gaining momentum in general.

Notable threats to this team are Scarfed Garchomp, Mega Venusaur, Specs Keldeo, and Sub-toxic Gliscor.

Okay just one quick suggestion.

Replace HP Electric on Keldeo with HP Flying
Reasons Being:
- Deals with Mega Venusaur
- Deals with Breloom
- Has a good match up vs. Conkeldurr (Especially is Pinsir goes down to SR etc.)

My suggestion would be replace scizor with skarmory, unless you need the fairy coverage desperately. skarmory has greater physical bulk, while also having phasing and Defog support, you can run spikes if you want, though Defog+hazards is kinda ass, it only has 2 weaknesses in electric and fire, which Heatran can eat up.
