Welcome to the 2nd OUPL! The OU moderating team and I have decided to give this another go, and hopefully everything goes according to plan this time around.

The details are identical as last time, and are as follows:

• There will be 6 teams
• The slots for each team will be: (note that these have not been finalized yet, but we'll keep an even number of tiers at the end)
  • 3 ORAS OU
  • 1 BW OU
  • 1 DPP OU
  • 1 ADV OU
  • 1 GSC OU
  • 1 RBY OU
• Rosters must be submitted to us by the weekly deadline of Friday at 11:59 PM EST
• SPL inactivity rules will be applied

This thread is specifically for manager sign ups and will close on April 24th 11:59 PM EST. Player sign ups will start the following day. Also keep in mind that not everyone who signs up will become a captain, and that only 6 of you will be selected.

In addition to the regular manager sign up requirements, we've added a line for selecting tier preference. The tiers selected above aren't final, and we've decided to let you, the players, voice your opinions while signing up. Whether you would like to get rid of older tiers or add more of them, that preference is up to you, and we will keep those opinions in mind when we finalize the tiers to ensure we have a more favorable tier set up for this tour. Finally, there's been some discussion regarding a different drafting style, and have thus created an option where you may choose between auction and snake draft styles.

Why would you make a good manager?:
Voted by Smogon as the Best Set Poster of 2015. Teamed up with Henry last year to manage OUPL. I've got some experience in team tournaments from playing in SPL and WCOP, and captained in smaller team tournaments such as POWC and OCL. I'd like to believe I have fair cross-generational OU knowledge and a good sense of the playerbase. But can I tell the truth, if I was doing this for you then I'd have nothing left to prove, nah. This for me though - I'm just trying to stay alive and take care of my people; but they don't have no award for that...

Given last year's turnout, I think it's better to keep it a little smaller with 3 or 4 ORAS slots rather than 5, and then one of each old gen. edit: no managers playing :s
