probably not a particularly popular opinion but

having been on both ends of it, I do agree it's a powerful attack but it's not overwhelming
 
Honestly I was never really into this idea from the start, Pain Split has always been very strong but not really overwhelming and I'm happy with an EN adjustment for this, for now.

/2 leads to less awkward decimals slightly more often. And I think my stance on decimals is known fairly well -_-
 
I'm not too concerned about decimals and I like having the same numbers as protect.

Interesting, I didn't realize so many people were against a cap change. Silent majority and all that I suppose.
