Palkia's primary role in Ubers is to act as a wallbreaker, with the combination of its good Special Attack , strong STAB moves, and Thunder allowing it to punch holes through most defensive teams. Focus Punch is ran for the sole purpose of taking care of blobs like Blissey and Chansey as well as Ferrothorn. A base Speed stat of 100 allows Palkia to outspeed prominent offensive threats like Yveltal and Xerneas and dish out heavy hits. Palkia's Water / Dragon typing also grants it the very rare ability to check Primal Kyogre. Teams that utilize methods of speed control are the best places to run Palkia. Glare Zygarde-C makes for a great partner, as it's able to slow down faster threats, letting Palkia outspeed and KO them. Palkia also loves Sticky Web support, so Pokemon like Shuckle and Smeargle work really well too!
