Above is the old Charizard analysis and here is my new one which chaos said to post as a peer edit.

Set comments

Charizard is the second fastest fire type, as well as one of few useful RBY pokemon to learn Swords Dance. Charizard's fire type hurts it in relation to other Swords Dancers, but Swords Dance gives it a huge leg up over other Fire types. Charizard's fire typing gives it a weakness to water and rock moves. However, its STAB Fire Blast can burn immediate threats like Golem and Rhydon. Be Wary when using Fire Blast because it may cause an unwanted burned Starmie or Alakazam, meaning neither of them can be paralyzed or slept.

Other Options

Slash is a viable option because of the automatic CH in RBY, but keep in mind that it will not work in tandem with Swords Dance because of RBY mechanics. Fire Spin can be used to prevent your opponent from attacking, as well as providing you with a free switch. The lower accuracy of Fire Spin compared to other Wrap moves is a detrimental, and it should not be used on a sweeper Charizard set.

Opinion

Charizard needs a fair amount of support to be able to sweep effectively, but it can still be a useful asset. Its Fire Blast can disable common threats such as Jynx, Rhydon, Golem, and Exeggutor, and with Swords Dance, it can pose a threat to many other pokemon, or generally throw off your opponent.

Counters

Charizard's main counters are water pokemon, with Starmie being the best. Other common waters such as Slowbro, Lapras, and Cloyster can counter Charizard with STAB Water attacks as well. Lapras and Cloyster do, however, need to be wary of Fire Blast, since they are part Ice. Alakazam outspeeds Charizard, and it can either damage it with Psychic, or it can paralyze Charizard with Thunder Wave. However, Alakazam does have to risk a chance of Charizard Body Slam paralyzing it. Lastly, Zapdos stops it well with its defenses, and hits Charizard with Thunderbolt for super effective damage.

All types are to be capitalized.

What?

Charizard's fire typing gives it a weakness to water and rock moves.

Redundant information. Their types and weakness charts are already available.

This analysis, in my opinion, isn't a huge step up from what we have currently. Some of it doesn't make sense, some of the information is redundant, and it doesn't really say much new from the original aside from the Counters section. I don't know if this is a useful base point for a Charizard analysis. Since you seem to understand RBY UU, I recommend pairing up with someone with a knack for formal writing before this is peer reviewed any further.

You don't need to write about weaknesses, as it's pretty obvious already. The second sentence doesn't really make sense. Instead write While Charizard is not as good as other Swords Dancers, it is the best Fire type for the job. Wary is not capitalised.

Slash is a viable option because of the automatic CH in RBY, but keep in mind that it will not work in tandem with Swords Dance because of RBY mechanics. It's not automatic CH, it should be Slash is a viable option because in RBY, critical hits depend on speed.

Rest is fine. I don't have too much experience in UU, aside from the matches I've watched.

This is stuff that should go under Opinion. Set Comments describes how to use a set effectively, i.e.

When using Charizard in standard play, bring him in against Jynx or Exeggutor. He can threaten them with an SE Fire Blast, so they will rarely (if ever) stay in. The most common switch into Charizard is Starmie, who you can try to cripple with Body Slam's paralysis. If you find out that your opponent is willing to bring in Golem or Rhydon against Charizard, you will want to try and burn them with Fire Blast them on the switch next time around. etc

I don't see how this is really describing the set; this is really redundant to me.

However, its STAB Fire Blast can burn immediate threats like Golem and Rhydon.

When I see a sentence like that, all I see is that you are telling me that, but not how it really relates to the set or the importance of using STAB Fire Blast to burn Golem, Rhydon, etc.

You did not say how Swords Dance is good for Charizard (you simply asserted it), and how the set is used; you just gave some information about common switch-ins to Charizard, that a STAB Fire Blast can burn Rock/Ground-types, and that it is bad to burn Starmie and Alakazam.

Other Options

Slash is a viable option because of the high possibility of a Critical Hit in RBY, but keep in mind that it will not work in tandem with Swords Dance because, in RBY, Critical Hits ignore all stat modifiers. Fire Spin can be used to prevent your opponent from attacking, as well as providing you with a free switch. The lower accuracy of Fire Spin compared to other Wrap moves is detrimental, and it should not be used on a sweeper Charizard set, since it will have to go in place of moves that such a Charizard would need.

Opinion

I made a few changes in bold. Most of it was adding words and changing capitalization, and what not, but I also added some things to explain; you are just telling the person that is reading that these things are good or bad, but, in some cases, I don't think you really went and explained why those things are good or bad.

This doesn't describe how to use the set effectively. Also, say what makes him a useful RBY Pokemon. I think this sentence goes better in the opinion section.

Charizard's Fire type hurts it in relation to other Swords Dancers, but Swords Dance gives it a huge leg up over other Fire types.

This is good information, but you need to explain why to justify it. Why does its type combo hurt it? Why does Swords Dance give it a huge leg-up over other Fire-types? Again, this probably goes better in the opinion section.

Charizard's fire typing gives it a weakness to water and rock moves.

I have never seen anybody mention weaknesses like that in an analysis before, and I think there will be a little table in each Pokemon's analysis telling you what its weaknesses and resistances are anyway. You also seem to be focusing only on the fact that Charizard is Fire-type. You could mention that Charizard being Flying-type makes him one of only two Fire Pokemon that aren’t weak to Earthquake, but gives him an additional weakness to Ice and Electric, and makes Rock attacks 4x effective.

However, its STAB Fire Blast can burn immediate threats like Golem and Rhydon.
Be wary when using Fire Blast because it may cause an unwanted burned Starmie or Alakazam, meaning neither of them can be paralyzed or slept.

This is good. Perhaps explain that this is one main reason why Charizard isn’t used very much. Some damage calculations can be useful at the end of ‘Set comments’. Can Charizard survive a Rock Slide from a burnt Golem? Is he faster than Tauros?

Other Options

Slash is a viable option because of the automatic CH in RBY, but keep in mind that it will not work in tandem with Swords Dance because of RBY mechanics.

Good.

Fire Spin can be used to prevent your opponent from attacking, as well as providing you with a free switch. The lower accuracy of Fire Spin compared to other Wrap moves is a detrimental, and it should not be used on a sweeper Charizard set.

Mention that Fire Spin is also good for encouraging switches.

Opinion

Its Fire Blast can disable common threats such as Jynx, Rhydon, Golem, and Exeggutor, and with Swords Dance, it can pose a threat to many other Pokemon, or generally throw off your opponent.

More explanation is needed here again. Why does Charizard need support? What best supports it? Also, I don’t think Fire Blast 1HKOs Jynx or Exeggutor in RBY because Charizard only has base 85 Special, so you could be more specific and say ‘Fire Blast can burn Golem and Rhydon and almost 1HKOs (or 2HKOs) Jynx and Exeggutor’. This should go in the set comments section.

Counters

Charizard's main counters are water pokemon, with Starmie being the best. Other common waters such as Slowbro, Lapras, and Cloyster can counter Charizard with STAB Water and Ice attacks as well. Lapras and Cloyster do, however, need to be wary of Fire Blast, since they are part Ice. Alakazam outspeeds Charizard, and it can either damage it with Psychic, or it can paralyze Charizard with Thunder Wave, however, Alakazam does have to risk a chance of Charizard’s Body Slam paralyzing it. Lastly, Zapdos stops it well with its defenses, and hits Charizard with Thunderbolt for super effective damage.

Remember that Charizard is weak against Blizzard in RBY. Lapras and Cloyster are probably more likely to use Blizzard against a Charizard than they are to use a Water move.
Good analysis overall. The set comments and opinion sections need to be rearranged and a few grammar mistakes need to be corrected.

Lapras can take a zard hit and ice moves are neutral on fires in RBY so stab blizzard will do alot back to zard (who is weak to it thanks to flying typing)
