[SET COMMENTS]
Despite Dynamax allowing many rain sweepers to set rain on their own, Pelipper is still a strong pick on rain teams because Drizzle providing instant rain is extremely valuable. This Pelipper set aims to set rain on turn 1 and either fire off a strong attack before going down or utilizing U-Turn to pivot to a rain sweeper. Hydro Pump is Pelipper’s strongest attack, and when boosted by Drizzle allows Pelipper to deal respectable damage. Hurricane is Pelipper’s secondary STAB that has perfect accuracy in the rain, which gives good neutral coverage alongside Hydro Pump. Icy Wind and Tailwind both provide speed control, which gives more opportunities for Dracovish to sweep. U-Turn allows Pelipper to pivot out of bad matchups, and breaks Focus Sashes and Disguise. Focus Sash is the preferred item because of the prevalence of Rotom forms, which can potentially outspeed and OHKO Pelipper if it lacks a Focus Sash. Damp Rock is an alternative for more rain turns, but the prevalence of Dynamax moves like Max Rockfall makes it harder for the extra turns to stick on the field. Modest is the preferred nature because Pelipper can not outspeed many Pokemon even if it is Timid, and Pelipper greatly appreciates the boost in power.

Super-effective Ice Beam (180 BP) is only marginally stronger than neutral STAB Hurricane (165 BP) in almost all cases where you'd want to use Ice Beam. The only target for Ice Beam that is hit appreciably less by STABs would be Rotom-C.

I think Tailwind should be the main option in that slot, slashed with Icy Wind. The latter hits many of the same targets (Hydreigon, Haxorus, Infiltrator Dragapult) along with dangerous switch-ins such as Tyranitar and Rotom formes. Both moves leave Pelipper with the chance to either follow up with a STAB move or to U-turn to an appropriate check freely.

Finally finished off Pelipper. Looks like it isn't too good this Gen though :blobsad: (It's not anywhere in the top thousand on Nouthuca).

Pelipper is QC ready though!
