VG Players there may be NO LUNCH BREAK on Sunday . Please plan accordingly. Seniors and Juniors will have a lunch break. I would highly recommend everyone bringing their own lunch bag. Last year the food locations around our event were crowded and had long lines. This year the Diamondbacks have a home game, so it may be extremely crowded at any Food venue. This of course is dependent on attendance and how long the games last.

Therefore, while not mandatory, you should do the following to help ensure you are admitted on time for round 1: VG players should pre-register and load their Pokémon team and their items in the battle box.

Tournament Details:

o Players must bring their own system in the Nintendo DS family (any 2DS or 3DS system).
o Players must bring their own Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Game Card or downloadable version.
o Players must bring their own charger for their DS. Players are responsible for making sure their DS is charged for the event.
o Each age group will use Swiss rounds- this means all players get to play every round even if they lose every game.
o The number of Swiss rounds will be determined by the amount of players in each division.
o Swiss Rounds will be up to 15 minutes (Single Game Pairings)
o Top Cut: 8 players per age division. Top Cut will be Single Elimination Finals, run as best-of-three matches, approx. 15 minutes PER GAME (more details will be announced).
o VG Tournament Rules & Formats for more details please go to www.pokemon.com

Players are restricted on what Pokémon can be used. Please check pokemon.com for the latest video game requirements.
