Plusle should never be considered over other Electric-types such as Alolan Raichu, Togedemaru, and Rotom-F, as they are far more potent offensively, having better movepools and secondary typings to boot. Plusle also lacks the defenses to safely set up, and even with decent Speed and a Nasty Plot boost, its offensive presence is very underwhelming.
