STAB; immune to paralysis status.

STAB; no additional effects

Abilities:
Trace / Magic Guard / Minus (H)

Trace: When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. When facing a Pokemon with Trace, the Player sending out last must send out the Pokemon without orders, in order to give the opponent the opportunity to trigger trace and any orders eventually given will be ignored until given the opportunity for trace to be triggered. The ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions. Command: Activate Trace (target ability) - 5 En - Replace Trace with the target Ability for six (6) actions. When the copied ability fades, the user regains Trace.

Magic Guard: This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, Burn, and Partial Trapping moves. It can still attack itself in confusion, and will still take damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is negated.

Minus: This Pokemon possesses a negative electrical charge. When a partner Pokemon with Plus or Minus is on the field or if this Pokemon has Plus, this Pokemon's special attacks have their Base Attack Power increased by two (2). If this Pokemon has both Plus and Minus, the boosts stack to a maximum Base Attack Power increase of four (4).

“Hey it’s not my fault I’m new! Anyhow, to the battle: on one side, we have Sivanandi, who has brought a mono-Poison team. On the other, Florina Liastacia, with a mono-Electric team. At a first glance, it doesn’t seem that anybody has an advantage here, but look a bit deeper, and you see that Siv brought a Nidoking, perfect check to pesky Electric types. However, Flo brought a Krillowatt, which can counter Nidoking, but Siv also brought a Venusaur to counter Flo... honestly it’s going to be
very interesting, mark my words.”

Field: Hail (3 rounds)

Florina Liastacia starts Off by setting Hail, a smart move, allowing Rotom-Frost to hit both of Siv’s Pokemon for super-effective damage. Rotom uses Blizzard yet again while Krillowatt used Blizzard once as well. However, Sivanandi hasn’t been idle, dealing considerable damage to both of Flo’s pokemon. However, if Hail continues, Sivanandi may not be able to turn the situation around to his advantage. Will Sivanandi be able to turn the tide around? Or will Florina Liastacia claim first blood, and in doing so, secure her victory?

Hail is for three more rounds, not turns

It's irrelevant, but why is Krilowatt's acc going down when Rotom's hit with Mud Slap? Sheer Force negates the acc drop anyways.

Blizzard's BAP is cut in 3/4ths due to being a spread move.

Using these orders to make a pre-emptive ruling.

Double Team targets are counted toward the number of targets as per the Data Audit. And while, the Data Audit also says multi-target moves hit all targets, a 3 target move is not hitting all 4 targetable Pokemon, and as such, it can be decided that line was written in a world of almost effectively Singles only.

As such, the above would have to be reffed with random targets, as well as a potential "not-real" chance due to the possibility of not hitting all the Krilowatts.

Sivanandi is offered the ability to reorder as a result of this ruling.

Well I definitely did something wrong. Please check and see if Venusaur did faint. I won’t be writing flavor just yet. Flavor now!
The first action consisted of nothing but throwing strategic status moves around, resulting in Sivanadi’s Earthquake being able to hit Rotom. Next thing Blizzards and Earthquakes are flying around. The result has slightly narrowed the gap; but Sivanandi still hasn’t gone further from imminent death.

LOL While I sympathize, you should keep in mind that there are many, many mons that have Double Team as a (rather good!) option, and that honestly, it's best that you learn what moves like this do sooner rather than later (and, additionally, it's better to figure these out when you're reffing rather than when you're fighting them.)

"1/24 = 1/24, crit for Venusaur. (Whoops!)"
If that wasn't a synchronized Earthquake and I was expecting to hit Venusaur, I would not be a happy man. But, thankfully, this Earthquake was synchronized. For some moves like Earthquake and Magnitude, it's possible to synchronize them in multi-battles so that you don't hit your allies if the synchronized moves go right after one another. Here's the quote straight from the audit (which, by the way, is a VERY helpful resource to check for all of these wacky BBP effects we have): "If allied Pokemon can attack in sequence uninterrupted by an enemy attack, they can synchronize their Earthquake and avoid damaging each other in a multi-battle."

And, just an additional note: It would be helpful to put things like the Worry Seed that I hit Rotom with under their "status" bars in the reffing. It helps keep track of these effects and how long they last so they don't slip your mind later (especially in doubles battles, where there are four mons to keep track of and much more potential for weird effects like Double Team or Worry Seed or Smack Down or whatever else you have to deal with. On that same note, it'd also help to write down Krilowatt's Rivalry in the place of Trace for the time being.

Hope this helps!

(I've learned a lesson from this: I'll wait a little while before I feel confident reffing Double Battles with 3* mons, lol)

EDIT: Also,
"Action 2:

Venusaur used Solar Beam! -8EN, 85 left.
Venusaur is absorbing sunlight!"
whoops that's an action late lol

And make sure you're not forgetting hail damage for Venusaur and Nidoking (Rotom and Krilowatt are immune by virtue of Ice typing and Magic Guard, respectively)

Florina Liastacia

Gotta flex on the rest of Battle-By-Post
Double Team makes clones. That's its effect. It doesn't raise Evasion. What clones do is covered by the NDA under Double Team.

A1: Krilowatt uses Double Team, not Ice Beam, A1, because Nidoking is under the effect of double Team

Earthquake doesn't lower SpD, that's Earth Power

Still need Consecutive EN Cost

Almost:

"Nidoking used Earthquake! -7EN, 70 left."
Nidoking's a ground type: Earthquake should be 6 EN. It should get the +3 STAB boost too.
And, if I'm not mistaken, both Venusaur's and Nidoking's Earthquakes should be reduced by the spread move penalty, but not by THAT much: spread move penalty is 3/4 damage.

I don't see the EN cost for Kril's Double Team.

Consecutive EN cost is +4 EN every consecutive move. For instance, if John the Skorupi kept using Poison Sting many times in a row, it would cost 2 EN (STAB reduction), then 6, then 10, then 14, and so on. I think you missed that stuff for Mud-slap in the first round, and just some wrong numbers for rotom's repeated blizzards.

Thanks for being good about correcting stuff!

Status: Double Team (2 clones)
Nope! My earthquakes hit all targets, so those clones got nuked lol
But I think that's all!

:sm/venusaur:
This isn't looking so good.

Earthquake (Synchronized) | Earthquake (Synchronized)
[2 Subs] IF Tipo is to use Blizzard OR Malpeza is to use Blizzard A1 AND Malpeza is not in the evasive stage of Dive AND Malpeza is not under the effects of a P/E move THEN Helping Hand (Vigarde)
IF the above subs do not activate AND Vigarde is not to use Earthquake A1 THEN Endure and push back

:sm/nidoking:

.....

Earthquake (Synchronized) | Earthquake (Synchronized)
[2 Subs] IF Tipo is to use Blizzard OR Malpeza is to use Blizzard A1 AND Malpeza is not in the evasive stage of Dive AND Malpeza is not under the effects of a P/E move THEN Sucker Punch + Giga Impact (Malpeza)
IF Tipo is under P/E when you are to act AND Malpeza is not AND the above do not activate THEN Smart Strike + Horn Drill (Malpeza) and push back

Hey, apparently I forgot to factor in Nidoking’s Earthquake, resulting in Krilowatt and Rotom-Frost having 15 less HP. Does this change any actions?
