Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 - Mark 2 ** Spoilers **

Drill Run was pretty much only given to Pokemon with drill-like horns. For example:

Forretress only gets Drill Run because Pineco does--generally, tutor move compatibility extends across entire families in BW2.
Well, that makes a little more sense, in the same vein as Dusknoir getting Mega Kick because Dusclops got the move from the Generation III tutor. But still, they give it to Fearow, but not Dodrio? And they give it to Beedrill, but not Escavalier?

EDIT: Serebii's revealed by how much the Shiny Charm increases the odds of finding Shinies.

The Shiny Charm cuts chances of normal shinies to 33% making the chance 1 in 2370.6recurring standard.
If you're trying to Masuda Method it, then the chance has been reduced, but as dramatically. It has gone from 1 in 1365.3recurring to 1 in 1024.

Serebii's wording can be misleading...

Normally:
1/8192 without charm
3/8192 with charm

Masuda
6/8192 without charm
8/8192 with charm

And why Braviary and Mandibuzz? That just seems so random.
Pretty sure this only applies to the interactable, Hidden Ability, lvl. 25 Braviary and Mandibuzz found on certain days at Route 4. (in their respective versions, of course). Still a bit odd, but not surprising given their track record with "unique" Pokemon.

Yeah, I got that, but it still seems random, especially when you consider there was never such a restriction on the Zen Mode Darmanitan and the Friday Musharna in B/W 1.

@Kaphotics : Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion CAN be shiny. I've tested directly by setting breakpoints in the shiny prevention routine (if a Pokémon cannot be shiny, the games 'breaks')

So like the first thing I'm going to do is to fix that Memory Link right away. Cathing these Pokémon sounds like a lot of fun. (2 days left)

Other stuff that happens with Memory Link includes special events with the Striaton trio, Lenora, and other characters, as well as your old accessories for the Pokémon Musical carries over.

I don't know if there anything else though.
Serebii posted about this, but it leaves me curious because what he said was so vague. What is the special event with Cilan, Cress, and Chili? Do Cheren and Bianca get to do anything special, since it would have read your Starter and thus know their BW Teams (which are programmed in)? Who is that visitor to the Plasma House?

So I'd like to know the answers to these things.

I think it's just dialog
Memory Link gives you a Bianca (and presumably Cheren) battle
The visitor is
N's Zoroark, I think

thanks

looks like we have to test each one individually then :(

Zekrom, Reshiram and the Entralink forest's Pokémon cannot be shiny.

Kyurem, Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion; Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf; Lati@s can be shiny.

So, wouldn't it be possible for someone with, ahem, the proper tools, to possibly look into the game code and extract a full list of all possible Hidden Hollow Pokémon?

Serebii's listed Giant Chasm as one of the locations with a Hidden Hollow. This gives me hope for a certain pink gelatinous being, known to reside in that general area, to possibly appear in said Hidden Hollow. Savvy?

Yeah, Ditto would be awesome. I wonder, has it been confirmed if a Imposter Ditto is enough to produce off-springs with DW abilities if the other Pokémon is male?

Dammit, my copy of Black 2 came in the mail today, but I was asleep and they needed a signature.
Ouch, haha, unlucky for you. This is why I'm telling my little brother to sign for my game if I'm at work at the time it arrives. They don't know he is not me.

SHIPPED!!!

I can't seem to find the RNG Research thread. Will we even need to test anything?

I think it has been confirmed that not even a Ditto with its Hidden Ability will allow for breeding for Hidden Abilities. Though, it was confirmed in B/W, not B2/W2...

Irregardless, that's not even why I want Imposter Ditto (though I won't deny that if that's how it turns out, I'd be a very happy man). I just want a Ditto that's friggin' awesome in battle.

edit: OH right the source http://pokebook.jp/data/bw2/trainers.html
Also of note: Cheren & Bianca's post-game BW1 teams & N having 4 full teams all about weather.
Let's talk about this! Both Cheren and Bianca's post-game BW1 teams have been found so that means N's teams must be in there too. Also what exactly are N's four weather teams, I can't make heads or tails of the link?

Holy Arceus!! Those are awesome, ah I'm so proud of Gamefreak putting in all these strong trainers with tactics, but I never thought I'd see the day where they made perma-weather abuser trainers. Way to go GF! Yeah seasonal trainers seem like a good bet, I just have so many questions about them though, like where and why :)

Thanks R_N!
