Pokémon Black/White in-game discussion

RNGing Cobalion's getting annoying. Doesn't help that my delay means a ten minute wait each time I try...
First attempt, delay is 5 over.
Second, delay is 4 over.
Third, run into a swirling sand patch that appears under my feet as I try to frame advance.
Fourth, Elgyem's Psybeam crits and kills it.
Fifth, delay is 6 under.

Just gonna brag about my Volcarona.

Urugamosu - #637 (Bold)
HP: 30
Att: 23 - 24
Def: 30
SpA: 28
SpD: 18
Speed: 15

Not bad for no RNG or hacking eh? Only took about three hours of resets. Sure, those 30s aren't 31s, but i'm more than happy with this one.

Now I have Eight badges on Black, here's my team (Like anyone cares...)

Cofagrigus: Lv40 Grass Knot/Haze/Will-O-Wisp/Hex
Serperior: Lv40 Tackle/Leaf Blade/Leech Seed/Coil
Carracosta: Lv41 Aqua Jet/Smack Down/Crunch/Curse
Galvantula: Lv41 Slash/Thunder/Signal Beam/Gastro Acid
Scrafty: Lv41 Sand Attack/Crunch/Chip Away/Hi-Jump Kick
Vanilluxe: Lv47 Uproar/Ice Beam/Taunt/Flash Cannon

Yes, yes, Vanilluxe is overleveled, but it defeated every Pokemon in the Opelucid Gym, explaining that. Decided to put Thunder over Electro-Ball on Galvantula, despite its crappy ability (Unnerve), & I went for Curse over Shell Smash on Carracosta, preferring durability over outright offence & fragility. I do have a good feeling about the last part, on Route 18 at the moment defeating the trainers there. Any flaws that should be addressed?

Also, about the final Cheren encounter in Victory Road post-E4, is it a one-off encounter or is it a once a day encounter? And this is the best Pokemon game I've played since GSC imo.

Where can you get repeated Trainer battles post-game? I know the Elite 4, the Stadium and Court in Nimbasa, and the Royal Unova. Anywhere else?
Cynthia in Spring
Morimoto (any season?)
I believe Cheren is daily
Bianca is every Saturday
The villa in Undella Resort is daily and another trainer is added each day and each trainer gets more Pokemon.
Opelucid's Trainer House with the Triple/Rotation battles are daily
Uh, I think Black City's are fightable forever
White Forest's two Triple trainers should be daily

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of my White playthrough, and I need a but of advice.
Currently my team is: Dewott, Joltik, Scraggy, Archen, Victini and Scolipede and I've just reached chargestone cave. I want to scrap Scolipede but don't know what to change to. I'm willing to go back to catch anything i've passed, or I'd there something coming up soon I should look out for?

Thanks.

try charge beam on galvantula...
it is really good...
and also i think you can get thunderbolt by now it is in p2 laboratory just surf west on route 1 and you should find it after a bit...

Not a good idea, really. The only reason people use Thunder on Galvantula is because of Compoundeyes. Without it, Thunder is really to risky to use. As said, use Charge beam or Thunderbolt, it's a lot more solid than Thunder will ever be.

Beat the game for the first time with this team:

Just beat the Elite 4 for the 2nd time in 26:25 with this team:

Haxorus - lv 69
Shadow Claw - Dragon Dance - Dragon Claw - Earthquake

Conkledurr - lv 68
Bulk Up - Brick Break - Payback - Rock Slide

Samurott - lv 66
Surf - Waterfall - Megahorn - Grass Knot

Krookodile - lv 65
Earthquake - Crunch - Assurance - Outrage

Galvantula - lv 66
T-Wave - Thunder - Energy Ball - Bug Buzz

Arhceops - lv 66
Acrobatics - Rock Slide - Dragon Claw - Fly

And let me add that Haxorus was easily my MVP for the Elite Four. After a few DD's it was GG for the ghost and psychic users.

Hi folks. I'm coming towards the sixth gym leader. I'd like a bit of team advice, because the team is only ok. They're all about level 30.

The 4 I'm happy with are pignite, krokorok, Scolipede and tirtuoga. I am reasonably happy with vanillite. The other one rotates alot. Can you suggest something to go I'm the final spot, I'm pretty willing to swap vanillite if there's a good pair to put in. I also don't really want to double up types. I'm playing white for reference.

I took 30 hours and 20 minutes to take out the E4 Round 2, with my team:

Mothula the Volcarona - LV73
Quiver Dance/Psychic/Bug Buzz/Flamethrower

Eleados the Galvantula - LV69
Charge Beam/Thunderbolt/Bug Buzz/Energy Ball

Pringlette the Jellicent - LV68
Surf/Shadow Ball/Toxic/Recover

Misamisa the Gothitelle - LV69
Psychic/Thunder Wave/Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball

Carioca the Archeops - LV69
Acrobatics/Fly/Rock Slide/Earthquake

Lilil the Liligant - LV68
Quiver Dance/Sleep Powder/Giga Drain/Magical Leaf

Quiver Dance > E4.

Cobalon, Virizion, Lilligant, Elgyem, they are all great choices in your team. If you are evil enough you can go for Axew, since Dragon Dance is just pure gayness.

Like suggested, I would just get an axew after you've beat the 6th leader.

If you like vanillite, i'd say just keep it. If not, a grass or electric type could be nice. I'm thinking Sawsbuck (which is awesome with horn leech, leech seend and big root), Liligant, Emolga or if you feel up to it, Eelektross.

Vannilite becomes very good, when it gets to Vanniluxe. It will be a solid teammate. Bulky, fast enough to outspeed most trainers, and hard-hitting. It is possibly the best choice against the 8th gym as well.

Hey everyone could use some team advice.

Playing through Pokemon Black (my second run through) and planning on:

Serperior
Gigalith
Victini
Swanna
Haxorus
and?

A physical attacker, maybe Mincinno or Durant. Any suggestions?

You can get them all early and Sandile knows Assurance and Scraggy knows Faint attack and after a bit learns Brick break...also scrafty rapes the first round of the e4(all but the fighting type user)...

If you are looking for something different i gusess Mienshao and Durant are good late game additions...
