Reserving: Tapu bulu
Sooo funny story I thought this was the "lure that threat" project, so I originally reserved darkest lariat bulu before realizing that this was Matchmaking
:psynervous:
But then I realized that Bulu is actually a pretty cool partner with Mew.

:ss/tapu bulu:
Tapu Bulu @ Life Orb
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Horn Leech
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge

Now, mew struggles against knock-off which, bulu resist. Bulu might be a grass types, but it is NOT u-turn weak because fairy resisted them. I don't wanna go for a ghost type since that is double knock-off weak, and bulu here is an amazing wallbreaker. Bulu gainst access to swords dance, which allows it's attack stat to reach higher limits. It also has grassy surge + horn leech, making life orb comfortable to use. Mew also appreciates the extra healing, because before mew got the turn to set up it usually gets hit pretty hard. Mew struggles against phazers like Hippowdon and Toxapex. While bulu can't do much against Toxapex, it handles Hippowdon pretty well, despite being a physical attacker.
252+ Atk Life Orb Tapu Bulu Horn Leech vs. 252 HP / 248+ Def Hippowdon in Grassy Terrain: 296-351 (70.4 - 83.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
Tapu bulu absorbs Knock off rather fine, even without Life orb it can boost its attack stat with swords dance.

There's no doubt that there are going to be more Tapus and Fairy types later, so I'm lucky that I was online and quickly reserve this.
(Might edit this later)

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Hydro Pump
- U-turn
ah yes dragapult, one of the best offensive pokemon in the meta, it can team up with almost any pokemon and fit on alot of structures, this one is no exception, as it fixes mew's weakness to heatran by luring it with hydro pump pult, and it also helps vs whirlwind hippo, which cosmic mew can struggle against
:dragapult: + :mew:

Reserving clefable
:ss/clefable:
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aromatherapy
- Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled
- Moonblast
Clefable is a good partner for demon mew as it gets rid of one of ur worst enemy status, using aromatherapy which can help mew to set up and sweep. It takes care of some problematic Pokémon for mew’s sweep mainly dragapult and being a soft check to urshifu and weavile using this set is also a nice trait as mew hates urshifu due to it being able to crit through it’s cosmic powers if it attempts to set up on it and it hates the fact that weavile can use a choice band boosted knock off.

reserving tankchomp

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Rest

contrary to clefable being able to force the pair out with moonblast / difficulty to scout for twave and knock off, (tank)chomp is an exceptional partner for demon mew, as paralysis and toxic is one of the easiest ways to cripple it. it is also a good check to heatran which can threaten it with taunt + toxic coverage.

:SM/Dragonite:
Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Roost
- Heal Bell

Pretty simple, Mew is ruined by Taunt and status. Who's the main Taunt user? Heatran. Who commonly runs Toxic? Well, still Heatran, but it's almost guaranteed that one of your opponent's Pokémon has Toxic.
Now, who handles both status and Heatran? Bulky Dragonite. Quite a good fit for bulkier, more defensive teams that suit Demon Mew, it doesn't provide much sinergy for Mew aside from the aforementioned stuff, but it helps checking some heavy hitters like Kartana and Rillaboom that could overpower Mew before it gets too many boosts.

Blissey (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled
- Teleport

Blissey is de blob. Blissey is a ghost immune and can switchin to most special attacks mew doesnt like. Mew is a fighting resist that helps blissey. Blissey can also spread paralysis which will reduce the opponents chance to crit through mew.

:ss/Tapu fini:
Tapu Fini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 44 SpD / 212 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Moonblast
- Trick
- Taunt
Writing this is favor of Abhi :psygrump: , but basically Tapu Fini is able to block status thanks to Misty Terrain which is one of the main things that can shut down Demon Mew, you are able to check Urshifu-at who just clicks Surging Strieks against who ignores boost cause of crits, and can shut down possible threats to Mew with Trick, really simple stuff

Now then it is voting time.

Round 32 Galarian Slowking
:ss/slowking-galar:
Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 12 Def / 80 SpA / 168 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Future Sight
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Scald / Ice Beam / Hydro Pump

Galarian Slowking has been a great pick for many teams alike with a unique typing and great special defensive bulk in conjuction with Assault Vest allows for it in being able to cover Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini, Clefable, Tapu Lele, Tornadus-T and Kyurem. With its wide variety of coverage which allows for it to handle a handful of things Flamethrower for Steel-types, Scald and Hydro Pump for Ground-types and Heatran, and Ice Beam. All of these moves alongside Future Sight which can assist its teammates in additional breaking as well making it hard to switch into with its coverage in making it break past its own checks and can cause immense pressure to many teams alike. Blessed with an amazing ability in Regenerator for recovery when switching and its offensive trait and great bulk makes Galarian Slowking a phenomenal Special Tank in the tier. With all that being said what are some partners for this regional subspecies.

Happy Posting!!

Reserving SD Weav

:ss/weavile:
Swords Dance Weavile

Weavile @ Heavy Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Triple Axel / Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard

SD Weavile is an incredible incredible mon right now, being a potent wincon, speed control, and breaker. It gets ample setup opportunities against the Ground types that love to bug Glowking, and with a Future Sight behind it, basically nothing can keep it in check at +2. It also appreciates Glowking’s ability to keep Fini under control, as well as being able to pivot into mons such as Koko. Overall just a really solid core with great synergy that is everywhere in the meta rn

copping moistshifu sequel moistshifu was taken so im taking big kartana ;-;

Kartana @ Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- Sacred Sword

flexible fit with gking and future sight helps define one of if not the strongest bulky offense central archetype in the meta. with future sight + stealth rock support kartana can break through most of its checks such as corviknight, skarmory and physdef tangrowth which takes at least 20% and higher.

Zapdos-Galar @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Thunderous Kick

I'll take this guy. I'll edit the post later with proper explanation

The two Galarian friends form a clean offensive core adorned with great utility in the form of blanket special sponge, Defog deterrence, momentum, Ground immunity and, of course, future sight. Zapdos-G is already a fierce attacker with an extremely limited pool of safe switchins, especially with the trend of SpDef Ground types, but with Future Sight it basically has no switch ins besides the rare Aegislash and its Kanto counterpart. Speaking of Ground types, this is where the sinergy comes in. Slowking-G does have ice and water moves but let's be honest, you want to click Future Sight / Sludge Bomb as much as possible and that gives ground types a turn to aggressively come in and threaten it. Zapdos-G can utilize its Ground immunity to switch in on attempted earthquakes and be in a position to click a stab move supported by the incoming Future Sight - something that no other FS abuser can do.

In return, much like it does for Urshifu, Slowking-G covers koko and kanto zapdos, while scouting and pivoting around potential scarf users like kyurem and tapu lele that could easily revengekill Zapdos-G. Even outside of future sight, the offensive presence granted by its colourful coverage allows Slowking-G to play 50/50s after clicking future sight (unlike regular Slowking who plays the fs support role a lot more passively) and weaken opposing defensive cores.

:ss/urshifu-rapid-strike:
Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Band
Ability: Unseen Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- U-turn

the good ol fs shifu core, it has seen rises and falls in the current metagame, but it will always be there looming over the toxapex or buzzwole trying to switch into urshifu, it also like glowking's ability to switch into fairy types like tapu fini and tapu koko, so urshifu makes for an amazing partner

TailGlowVM

Now 100% more demonic
:ss/skarmory:
Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 236 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Body Press
- Spikes
- Iron Defense / Toxic
- Roost

Skarmory and Galarian Slowking form one of the most resilient defensive cores in the meta. Out of relevant Pokemon only Zeraora, Victini, Dragapult, Nidoking, and Hydreigon can consistently break it. Additionally, Spikes are great at taking advantage of the switches Slowking forces, and Future Sight wears down special attackers that usually want to switch into Skarmory.

Banned deucer.
:SS/Buzzwole:

Buzzwole @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 152 HP / 168 Atk / 188 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Roost
- Leech Life

G-Slowking and Buzzwole form an incredible backbone of Special-Physical Tank on Offensive teams. Buzzwole handles physical attackers that force Glowking out such as Kartana, Weavile, Garchomp etc.. Similarly, Glowking handles special attackers such as Kyurem, Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini etc.. Further, Future Sight support from Glowking helps Buzzwole power past its checks such as Corviknight, Toxapex etc.. Future Sight + Buzzwole's STABs provide perfect coverage, and is very easy to execute. This is because Glowking switches into special attackers and sets up Future Sight while forcing them out. Then, Buzzwole switches into Glowking's check and after that FS + a STAB move devastates the Glowking's check if it stays or the Pokemon who switches into Buzzwole. Thus, the fact that Buzzwole switches well into Glowking's checks ensures that this core forces immense progress among itself. Further, this core's defensive potency means that rest of the team slots (atleast 3) can be dedicated to offensive mons that synergize well with the core such as Dragapult, Weavile etc.. Main issues with this core are Dragapult and Urshifu-R (however, Buzzwole's Rocky Helmet discourages it from using Surging Strikes mindlessly), hence Tapu Fini is a stellar teammate for this core

dragapult

:ss/dragapult:
Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Draco Meteor
- U-turn
- Hydro Pump

Dragapult and Galaian Slowking are a formidable core, as they are pretty good to overwhelm checks like Corviknight, Hippowdon, Clefable, Tapu Fini, Heatran, and Toxapex with their STABs and coverage options in Shadow Ball, which in itself is a pretty spamable attack, and Future Sight to force progress on Pokemon such as specially defensive Clefable, Hippowdon, and Heatran. Future Sight can reliable weaken them and makes Dragapult even more terrifying to check. In overall this core achieves progress making via the spamable STAB in Shadow Ball by Dragapult and the progress Future Sight-Galarian Slowking enables.
Hydro Pump on Dragapult is for Hippowdon, Landorus-T, and Heatran to hit them super effectively, it also hits - even tho less common nowadays - Tyranitar for super effective damage output. Furthermore U-turn is able to maintain momentum and get their teampartners in safely.
In overall this core is pretty effective and common currently with other teampartners such as Urshifu-R, Weavile, and Tapu Fini that couple is able to achieve a lot of prgress. :dragapult:  :slowking-galar:
