While bulky torn is a good partner to specs lele, I think plot torn is a good one to cm lele. Lele is let down by it's speed and proneness of getting revenge killed, so tornadus comes with a great speed tier for a breaker, pressuring most things that outspeed lele, grass types in particular. heat wave is crucial coverage against steel types like ferrothorn that can take on cm lele and is a much safer click than hurricane against the dangerous kartana, which annihilates lele. Knock off is another crucial move to remove items from shared checks like heatran and blissey, making them easier to break down with combined pressure. nplot is the main move of the set, making tornadus capable of abusing forced switches and apply pressure for lele to clean later (or the opposite, depending on the opponent's team structure).

reserving pult

the aforementioned checks to cm lele, like tran, Corv and steels casually lose to pult. Plus, because of psychic terrain, it can stay in on weakened Weavile and kill with shadow ball.

scald over hydro pump/surf because scald is a broken move.

A good partner with this duo is a strong physical attacker who can own walls like Blissey, such as Weavile and Lando-T.

Enjoy!

Hey there :afrostar:
it's time to vote
The voting system used is the Ranked Pairs format (the same as CAP uses). To vote you basically order your options like this: C>B>A>D, like this A>B=C>D, or like this D>C, assuming there are 4 partner options (A, B, C, and D). If you choose not to vote for all partners, the last partner(s) will be assumed to be last and valued equally if more than one got left out. Additionally, don't vote for your own submission. If you have any questions, by all means, ask me.

Partner E :dragapult: by Sagdiyev V2

A=C>B>E
Probably would have liked A a bit more if Lele was Specs. Leftovers sadly contrasts the idea of luring a Corviknight or a Slowking with a strong move. Anything that bluffs Specs is good (no Boots, no Life Orb).
Since this Lele doesn't break, I think CB Urshifu-R is nice also for the U-turn, although the sinergy between Tapu Lele and Garchomp is too nice to be surpassed. Aqua Jet conflicts with Psychic Terrain so meh.
Heatran just works, choices Grass types and Weavile need to be careful of what move they lock into or Heatran gets a free turn and you don't want that. Also, Heatran draws in Slowking and weakens it into +1 tbolt range. Finally, Heatran just cooks Steel types and Lele likes that.
Pult isnt bad but it doesn't appeal to me nearly as much as the others. Aside from Mandibuzz, it doesn't really draw in anything that Lele can punish and if Lele comes in it reveals Leftovers which is a bummer. I guess I don't like playing Leftovers Tapu Lele lol. Specs Fire move + double pressure on Heatran is nice sinergy though.

Round 26 Choice Scarf Tapu Fini
:ss/tapu fini:
Tapu Fini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Moonblast
- Trick

- Taunt / Defog

Tapu Fini Scarf set has been gaining a lot of attention as of late, its ability to act as a check to some of the tiers most threatening mons such as Urshifu-R, Weavile, and Heatran is greatly appreciated for many teams and its ability providing Misty Terrain support blocking statuses and weakening the moves of Dragon attacks, as well functioning as speed control for some teams with its ability to cripple it switchins that try to take advantage of it and switch items against them with Trick. Tapu Fini can also remove hazards for it's teammates if a role for it is needed, while it can also be able to shut down against passive mons with Taunt. As usual we ask ourselves what are some good partners for this guardian deity.

volcarona

Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 248 HP / 156 Def / 16 SpA / 88 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Roost
- Flamethrower
- Psychic

Tapu Fini and Volcarona are a great pairing, as Tapu Fini can severely weaken Volcaronas checks with crippling them with Tricking an item onto them, those Pokemon would be Toxapex, Slowking, and Blissey. It can also Trick its item onto other Pokemon such as Zapdos. Therefore it is a great help for Volcarona to support it rightly. Misty Terrain also provides support with giving Volcarona some turns for a setup opportunity and remain un-statused. Volcarona and Tapu Fini are capable of overwhelming alot of the current metagame Pokemon such as Buzzwole, Weavile, and Dragapult together. Moreover they can support each other against Pokemon such as Skarmory and Corviknight. Tapu Fini can handle Dragon-types for Volcarona such as Dragonite and Garchomp, whereas Volcarona can handle Grass- and Steel-types such as Rillaboom, Kartana, and Ferrothorn for it. Both are a great pairing as Volcarona needs a check to Urshifu-R and Tapu Fini provides itself as such. Volcarona and Scarf + Trick Tapu Fini are in general a great pairing with overwhelming their checks constantly and with Trick Tapu Fini supports Volcarona well, whereas Volcaronas great typing allows it to support Tapu Fini against many of the dangerous wallbreakers with being able to setup infront of them. :tapu fini:  :volcarona:

fini's support of giving as many free switches as possible is crucial to nido's success. pex shits on fini and generates a ton of momentum off of it by forcing it out or limiting scald / knock switch ins, also corviknight is rising to punish moistshifu and nido has a good matchup vs it after chip.

Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Focus Blast/Knock Off

Nasty Plot Tornadus appreciates its specially bulky checks being crippled with Trick, particularly Blissey and Glowking, as well as Tapu Fini being able to come in on offensive checks to Tornadus-T like Weavile. In return, Tornadus-T can come in on and set up on the Grass types that Fini invites in, such as Rillaboom. Furthermore, hazard control from Fini provides insurance in the event that Tornadus's Boots are Knocked Off, which, considering the movesets of Rillaboom and Kartana, is likely. These two work together nicely to provide a solid speedy, but still relatively bulky backbone to a team, though backing against Electric types is a necessity. Focus Blast is generally better than Knock Off here since you don't want to accidentally Knock Off the Tricked Scarf.

Similar to other submissions, this is more of a one-sided relationship, where Kartana makes use of the support Tapu Fini provides to break teams. Trick is especially helpful as it can render Toxapex and Corviknight pretty much useless, and Kartana loves that. It also appreciates Fini taking on stuff like Pult that try to revenge kill it.

zone

Magnezone can remove tough, bulky steels that scarf Fini can struggle with, even after it has burned its trick and/or taunted it. Defog on the set means that Ferrothorn who spams spikes after getting trapped can be removed, although a more dedicated defogger, like Corviknight should remove the spikes.

Calm Mind Tapu Koko has proved to be very powerful and useful in the round 1 of WCoP and has set itself to be one of Tapu Koko's best sets. Its ability to set up on switches and common pokemon like Corviknight, Slowking, and Tornadus-Therian. That said what do you think pairs well with this bird?

chose a cb set in particular to cement itself as an offensive pokemon to pressure blissey, force out spdef hippo and other varieties of grounds, etc. koko at +1 struggles to break through spdef hippo and taking 96+ from eq is an unbearable trade. you can also run swords dance here depending on the type of team fwiw

Landorus-T is a great offensive partner with Tapu Koko, as it is able to break down teams offensively with its Swords Dance and Substitute set, as it is able to overwhelm sturdy physical walls with it, such as Corviknight, Skarmory, and opposing Landorus-T. It's also able to break down other physical walls such as Slowbro and Ferrothon and together Tapu Koko and Landorus-T can overwhelm Pokemon such as ferrothon very easily. Tapu Koko can deal with troublesome Pokemon such as the aforementioned Corviknight and Skarmory and it can deal with Tornadus-T. Both are very offensive partners and can overwhelm a lot of Pokemon in the current metagame and offensively pressure common Pokemon such as Slowking-Galar, Corviknight, and Skarmory. :Landorus-Therian:  :tapu Koko:

Chad terrak to pair with Koko to pressure bulky ground types into Koko range and murk typical Koko answers like bliss, glowking or thorn. I was thinking band lycan-dusk because of accelerock's utility against volc or shifu to directly smash ground types, but terrak is my friend since the bw days on pokemon online so I can't betray him. Also, for cm koko I like forcing in ground types rather than scaring them out, to chip them down since they mostly lack recovery and hippo is so passive you usually can just toxic it. Pair this bad boy with future sight and you are smashing everything in sight for Koko to sweep.
Last slot is completely filler, terrak does learn toxic so you can try and bait those grounds in early game to wear them down quicker. Other chad moves include sacred sword, quick attack, megahorn, double kick, poison jab, even aerial ace for mr buzzwole.
Pair this core with corvi because otherwise you'll be destroyed by Rillaboom and ground types. defensively, but either way chad terrak is the goat since bw.
