Title: Pokémon Sword and Shield useful Items
Introduction:
In Pokémon Sword and Shield you will occasionally find useful items out in the wild. I will be showing you where you can find them. This will also help players who wish to do some breeding and competitive battling. Lastly, I will show where you can find the items that can't be found out in the wild.
Destiny Knot:
-it allows you to pass along 5 guaranteed IVs when breeding.
-You can find the Destiny Knot in Hammerlocke Pokemon Center talk to the League Staff NPC (right side) to exchanges Battle Points (BP) for various items.
Everstone:
-The everstone is a very useful item as it allows you to lock in a specific nature when breeding. To illustrate, say you have a Modest Hydreigon and want to pass on the IVs from a Ditto. You would have Hydreigon hold the Everstone and Ditto with the Destiny Knot to ensure the passing of both the desired nature and Individual Values (IVs).\
-The Everstone can be found in Turffield follow the path to the right of the Pokemon Center and then when the path splits go left and hug the wall until you find the item ball.
Choice Band:
-The Choice Band (CB) locks you into using the first move, but in turn it makes that attack stronger.
-It can be found in the left-most battle shop in Wyndon's Battle Tower. It costs 25 BP.
The following items can be either purchased at Wyndon's Battle Tower or found in the wild. I will state which ones can be found in the wild.
Choice Specs:
-The Choice Specs, is similar to the CB as it boosts the user's Special attack by 50%, but it locks you into using that move until withdrawn from battle.
-The Choice Specs can be purchased at the same counter for 25 BP.
Choice Scarf:
-The Choice Scarf (SC), shares similarities to the Choice Specs and Choice Band as it increases the Pokemon's Speed stat by 50%, but locks you into your move.
-It costs 25 BP.
Assault Vest:
This is the first of many items that you can find out in the wild:
To find the Assault Vest you will need to travel to the Wild Area and go to the Lake of Outrage section (Requires Rotom bike to be able to travel over water).
-This item when held will increase the SpDef stat by 50% but requires the Pokemon to use only damaging attacks.
-Purchased for 25 BP
Ability Capsule:
-The Ability Capsule is a useful item as it allows you to change a Pokemon's ability if it has two.
-For example, Haxorus which has two abilities, Mold Breaker and Rivalry, You can use an Ability Capsule to change between the two. But please know that you can't change the Pokemon's ability into a Hidden Ability nor can you change it from HA to one of the standard abilities.
-It can be purchased at the Battle Tower for 50 BP at the Left Shop.
