Hmm...I've been doing some research after those two balloons were shown. And from what we are being shown, the lists that have been shown are true, yet false.

Something says to me that there is but a hint of truth to the lists, but they forget vital members of the MEvos. Really, this ultimately means that there is no confirmed list of the MEvos, assuming that these balloons DO confirm the MEvos they represent. Things just got a bit more interesting. ^^

So now we've slowed to a crawl, and the next month will be spent hunting for new mega evolutions.

If you mean the one with the pictures from a few weeks ago, it was missing Gyarados and Aerodactyl. If there's some other list I'm unaware of, I don't know.

Oh, that one. Then yeah it's probably looking likely that the trademarks might be linked to the Mega Pokemon. Though it's not much of a definitive list because many Pokemon names had been previously trademarked. (Lucario, Mewtwo, Venusaur, etc. Mawile was apparently Trademarked by a DIFFERENT company.) So it wouldn't be all inclusive.

I'm concerned about that Kyogre on the list though....

Now, the trademark list "might" be true. That is, those names (models? designs? I don't know) WERE trademarked, we just don't know if they have anything to do with MegaEvos.

But I wouldn't even bother with those. I mean. We know MegaEvos were chosen based on popularity, design and game balance. Do you SERIOUSLY need random fake lists and trademarks to realize Tyranitar would be a strong contender? Gardevoir? Aggron?

None of the lists are "catalogues" of the new Mega Evolutions. None of them. Not the one with 6 Pokemon from each generation, not the one that listed various pre-confirmed ones with a few others thrown in, and especially not any of the anonymous 4ch ones. The trademark list is iffy at best, it's already missed some Mevos, and it likely is just a list of, you know, names that GF needs to trademark or re-trademark, for merchandising or otherwise. Any list that seems to be matching up partially is just pure luck; Togekiss, Yanmega, Salamence, Flygon, Chandelure, Scizor, Porygon-Z, Milotic, Tropius, Gliscor, Skarmory. I just pulled all those names right out of thin air, and since they're popular Pokemon, it's very highly likely that at least 1, or even more, of them will recieve Mevos. Throw in a couple that are already confirmed, and voila! You have a "list" of Mevos. Except you don't. If you throw out a large enough net, you're bound to catch at least a few fish, but you're not gonna haul up the entire ocean.

at the top of everyone's popularity list, right alongside Mawile, Ampharos and Absol

Mega Tyranitar and Mega Aggron look like they emerged from a Power Rangers X Kaiju crossover. Awesome.

Does it really? I'm actually okay with having a small pool of legendaries. While I liked most of them, Gen4 & 5 gave us waaaay more than enough.

I will miss the 100-base pixie, though and having the wonky event legend but hey I'm not mad. We might actually be surprised when they release a legendary as an event a year from now!

We are almost certainly getting event legends, we just wont know about them until either datamining (if on cart) or the movies
