I see. In that case, sub+protect would allow for 6x stallrein (you get the point, obviously not literally) weather teams that would kind of screw over almost every type of play other than stall with phazers.Sitrus berry is one time only, while the suggestion of the healing item feels like it was described with qualities of leftovers ie every turn.
Notice how she also has Farfetch'd's Stick in her purse. I think we can all start assuming the obvious... Farfetch'd gets an evolution!
I am sorry, but unfortunately this is in the analysis of Farefetchd
I am of the opinion that as Pokémon Red and Blue were about to be released, Farfetch'd accidentally spilled some ink on the suit of one of the most important Game Freak staff members. Since then, they have hated Farfetch'd and did everything they could to make this thing suck as much as possible on the battlefield. No Base Stat over 65, a gazillion better Normal/Flying-types, some interesting moves none of which can be employed to their full potential and limited ways of obtaining it ever since the beginning of the Pokémon games. The best thing that can be said about Farfetch'd is that it got a personal item (Stick) which makes it get random critical hits. When you don't need them, usually.
That means that unfortunately or Farefetchd friend a bad bird, and that Gamefreak hired a new person who forgives Farfetchd!
She could have bought a Farfetch'd to eat and the leek just came with it.
Farfetch'd are endangered. I doubt they'll just sell Farfetch'd-es in any PokeMart. Unless...that girl went to some black market place, like that guy that sells you StarPieces and Nuggets for cheaper.
lol. The bike in RBY is 1 $ above the holding limit!Or the damn slowpoke tail. Which is sad because I actually tried to save up enough money to buy one :(
Game Freak are such jerks
Remember why they are endangered? There are no turkeys in the world of Pokemon....so when Thanksgiving comes around........Farfetch'd are endangered. I doubt they'll just sell Farfetch'd-es in any PokeMart. Unless...that girl went to some black market place, like that guy that sells you StarPieces and Nuggets for cheaper.
You personal experience doesn't really mean a lot when he's just mathematically inferior and outclassed by every flying type ever, save maybe Delibir.I'm not sure if we're still on the subject of Farfetch'd but he played a HUGE role on my in-game Red/Blue teams. He leveled up quickly since he was a trade-only poke, and he was a powerhouse for the first half of the game. Not only that but he, combined with slowpoke, could learn every HM (including dig and teleport) making him the first half of one of two possible perfect HM duos. (the other duo being Zapdos and Krabby). Farfetch'd continues to be a great early-game pokemon to this day.
Competitive use isn't the only thing pokemon can be useful for, almost everything has some sort of use (Drapion is good for battle tower, Magcargo can be used to hatch eggs faster, hell even Luvdisc gives heart scales). It just bugs me that people think "OMG HE CANT STAND UP TO SALAMENCE AND SCIZOR THEREFORE HE IS USELESS - GAMEFREAK MUST HATE HIM"
That said, I still wouldn't mind a Farfetch'd evo.
Galactic Boss Cyrus said:They should get rid of repetitive abilities. Huge Power and something else (Pure Power) I forgot are the exact same thing,
It would be cool if they game your pokemon an in-game hunger and fatigue stats. You had to feed and take them pokemon centers or they would be weaker over-time until you take them back. This would mean that fighting the pokemon league would be much more difficult. You could heal them with items, but you can't take the food with you.
How would it be useful...? Or even cool. I seriously do not want to get to the PokéCenter every once in a while just because they suddenly want to eat. And they can take Flamethrowers and Thunderbolts at their faces, I'm sure they can stand hunger ~__~
To flog a dead horse here...
How about the 'official' Porygon2 evo gets an ability allowing it to use man-made items. It would fit the flavour, and could make it seriously powerful. Full Restore + Recycle in the right hands would be formidable.
Not unbeatable of course - the most obvious countermeasure would be to remove the item with Trick, Knock Off, or similar. Alternatively just stat-up enough to OHKO Porygon.NET (or whatever it's called)
Porygon3 @ Full Revive ftw
I'd envisioned it working like the berries work for any Pokemon - activated when you drop below 25% HP.
Max Revive, or even regular Revive, would be utterly broken, so I don't think the ability should activate if OHKOed.
