Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is an action game which is based on Paldean history. The stages of the game will also be based on famous battles which actually took place in ancient Paldea.
What, an actually good showcase of the mechanic in the single player campaign, showcasing the possible usage in competitive?Gym Leaders will use a mon not of their type as their ace but Terastalize them to make them the Tera-type of the type they specialize in (example: Tera-Grass Sudowoodo by the Grass Gym Leader).
You think Gym Leaders will stop Terastallization if the Pokemon already has a type advantage, cause I'm picturing Sudowoodo changing from Rock to Grass in front of Fuecoco right before my eyes. What, an actually good showcase of the mechanic in the single player campaign, showcasing the possible usage in competitive?
That's illegal.
its like the memeThey have titles nowView attachment 451994
Does this look like a Splatoon boss to anyone else, or just me?
someone oughta tell gf that x is the blue one and zero is the red oneCeruledge and Armarouge look like Mega Man was turned into a Pokémon. It’s kind of annoying that they bought back Fire/Ghost again after repeated Pokémon of the same type in Gen 7 and 8.
This definitely gives me Legends: Arceus Noble Pokemon vibes. You're facing a special superboss Pokemon all by itself and you have to aim to take it down, except without the action-RPG style player throwing balms at it (or maybe since Arven is involved in the Path of Legends storyline and is a cook, maybe that will play a role like how you threw balms made of a Noble's favorite food at them in PLA?).They have titles nowView attachment 451994
I'd peg this more as Totem-alike than Noble-alikeThis definitely gives me Legends: Arceus Noble Pokemon vibes. Very interesting to see a Legends: Arceus structure storyline returning in this game as one of three campaigns in addition to the Gym Challenge.
Without going into more detail, NoSo were the “paradox Pokemon” leaks actually just the knights? They’re past and future and they’re somewhat paradoxical (past one has a blaster, future one has a sword)
Oricorio is new, I think. That said, anyone with more brain than me saw if there's any new confirmed returning pokemon?
Speaking of, shoutouts to this gag:Gym Leaders will use a mon not of their type as their ace but Terastalize them to make them the Tera-type of the type they specialize in (example: Tera-Grass Sudowoodo by the Grass Gym Leader).
Okay here me out. According to the french name, it's probably a Grass-type Freeze Dry, effective on Grass.First, Melo is freaking fucking amazing.
I like both knights, the design feel great.
But I saw a move called Trailblaze, used by Sudowoodo. Apparently Grass type. What the hell is this ?

Plot twist: the entire car is the pokemon monkaS
Clearly, they're based on Phantom and Fefnir instead. The paired sequel games will feature green and blue equivalents :P.someone oughta tell gf that x is the blue one and zero is the red one
And Torkoal was front and center in battle.View attachment 452001
