Never know, could just be raining when ya get near the guy. Some people are known to bring a cloud of rain round with them all the time.

It is also said people having bad days and horrible luck can make rain. Might just be an unlucky co-incidence....damn it now its raining XD

Anyway 1 final pokemon proposal before I wrap things up tommorow

Pokemon Proposal: Alomomola
Reason: Bulky regonerator mon used for pivoting and wish passing on stall and semi stall teams. Plus it has not appeared since route 2 and this huge ocean needs a fish other then magikarp
- Rare
- Found accross the route either through surfing or fishing
- 5% chance to hold leftovers

added a few more pokemon to the available list

Ok guys Its time to wrap up the Route.

The Wrap: Following more TLS induced chaos in Sidhemplor that brought the towns guilds to the brink of all out conflict we emerge into the open waters of Route 12 which are anything but calm. Gyarados, Swampert and our ever present friend azumarill roam are among the pokemon that roam these waters while NPCs Such as Kurona and The Lab assistant liven things up. In addition rumours of Shrines abound and people who can lead you to the musketters are said to be here.

That is Route 12 done. We'll now be moving onto the Gym town 7. I'll detail it shortly

We are now at what is arguably the most isolated point in Smog-smog. Gym Town 7, a town of Dragon worshipers and trainers that have sought isolation from the mainland to further there own crafts and look apon any whom visit with suspicion. They once even tried to break away from the rest of the country to further there aims and Its rumoured they may have had something to do with former fairy guild leader Creator of Chaos's Disappearance after taking a dislike to his treatment of sidhemplors dragon guild but as stated just a rumour albeit one that doesn't go away. In recent times tho this town of myth has taken on air of paranoia and fear as there isolation becomes' a threat to there existence and possibly Smogs. TLS has its main base here and they have made there presence known.

Expect not only Resistance from the Gym and trainers but expect an all out fight from TLS as there long planned operation finally comes to life

Points to Discuss:
- Town Name and Gym
- Town events and Themes
- NPCs preferably ones who spread rumour
- TLS plot Phione will probably have the first post on this so stay tuned

Anyway Thanks for staying with us so far and I hope everyone enjoys :)

Thanks Creator from the rest of us council members too lazy to wrap up.

Anyhow, the main TLS Plot will center around TLS trying to force Diancie to create artificial Mega Stones, such as Salamencite, which they can use to Mega Evolve their Salemance Salamence and create the ultimate Pokémon. There will also be a fringe group of TLS (let's call them the Mewtwo hunters) who are hunting down legends of Mewtwo to try and create one themselves, because they are convinced Salamence is weak because it is not legendary. In the actual TLS Base, you will encounter lab experiments, breadcrumby logs hinting at the origins of TLS and other things, familiar admins, puzzles, and a whole lot of grunts.

So, let's get this started, shall we?

I'm gonna talk about the town a little before we go into TLS tho I will be going a little into it

Location Proposal Dragon Shrine: First thing anyone will notice entering town is the dragon shrine on the Hill that overlooks this somewhat modern but contemporary town. Starting With a long winding staircase that goes to the top Not only do statues of different dragons cover the hill mist and fog are litarraly spat from the main entrance as you approach giving it a feel of myth and raw power and if that was not enough to intimidate poor souls the priesthood actively encourage mandibuzz to nest in the area to attack outsiders they deem unworthy of there attention. Assuming you reach the Top you enter an area that looks like a massive arena with Statues of mega salamance, Rayquasa and various deity dragons dotting the walls appearing as if they were looking down apon you. The Priesthood watch on and wont talk to anyone mentioning only that the dragons demand battle and will only talk to you after.

There's also a few grumpy older whom when talked to will address you with suspicion and if your a member of the fairy Guild from the previous town with utter disdain.

The guanlet:
Players must battle 3 Trainers and a member of the priesthood to be able to talk to the Priesthood and gain either Ampharosite or sceptilite.

Rules - Players must have a Dragon type pokemon for this and no more then 1 Fairy or Steel Type. Multiples of either type are banned tho guanlet teams may not follow the rules
Trainer One - http://pastebin.com/XTjZazqP
Trainer Two - http://pastebin.com/hWC29ve9
Trainer Three - http://pastebin.com/ftrQa0ca
Priest - http://pastebin.com/p2JRN9HV

After that you complete the Guanlet the priests will finally talk to you giving you a history of Dragons in OU and Smog-smog, Tips on how to use them in battle and about there Sister Shrines in Ice mountain and Sidhemplor

Priest Quote's
Pre-guanlet: The Dragons will only allow me to speak if you prove yourself worthy infront of them. Face the guanlet or leave in shame
Post Guanlet: Our Deities have deemed you worthy - Take this Mega stone of your choice and feel free to ask me questions

Shrine? This shrine predates our inhabitataion of the island and was originally built for the deity kyurem, Infact we through our archelogical work have found the current location of the beast. When we came here 200 years earlier we expanded it into a shrine for all dragons and there trainers

Battle Tips: How do you support dragons? well dont let Rayquasa hear this but fairies make good partners as they shut down other dragons allowing yours to sweep more easily. Fire types and Steels work great to as they stop said fairies. When in doubt consult the Simple questions thread for more advice

History: Dragons have long been part of the game from dragonite in Gen 1 to the Glory Days of Dragon Spam in Gen 4 and 5 when Salamance and others could easily sweep once steels were gone. Nothing like clicking outrage to win and just watching shit die. It was at this time our shrines moved into other regions of Smog Smog ad tried but failed to gain indepedance. Then Came those infernal fairies who humbled us ending our reign. while Our sister Chapter in sidhemplor suffered Under that Tyrant Creator of Chaos. Thankfully tho things are improving now.

Chaos? No we did not seek to have him removed and such an act is below us. Cant say we miss him and Melody is so much cuter then Chaos anyway...What I can look.

TLS's Hold on the town
I'll probably expand on the shrine abit more later but I want to talk abit about TLS. With the exception of the shrine I think much of the town should be living in fear of Verlisciel and his admins as he exploits the town isolationist nature.

In addition for hilarity and in reference to the real Verlis There should be posters of of Verlisciel Popping up as a act vanity. Pretty much TLS is making its stamp on the town

While we are on this I request someone find a fitting theme song for Verlisciel lol. Must both be omnimous but hilarious at the same time

Going off of Creator of Chaos' segment about the Mandibuzz that flock around the shrine:

Pokemon Proposal: Mandibuzz
Reason: Mixed wall, bulky defogger, defensive utility with Taunt/ Toxic. Works well with the area's suggested flavor.
-Uncommon
-Found in tall grass patches near the shrine's entrance
-10% chance to hold Rocky Helmet

Base Location
So I have made a (tyrannical) decision to make the TLS Base somewhat hard to find on your first time visiting it. Nothing ridiculous, just a little inconspicuity that will make it not COMPLETELY obvious to the law enforcement that a criminal organization is operating right under their noses. So, any suggestions as to the location?

My personal preference: we put the base in the middle of a town well that you have to purposefully fall into. Adds a little humour value. In addition, once you discover where the base is, an NPC will stand by it, remarking on the ubiquity of evil wells in this region (poking fun at the last town's well).

Hiding NPC while discussion on town and Base continue
While we are on the subject of the Base I think its time for the Return of a few Familiar TLS grunts.

TLS NPC proposal Annoying Amy: Well you all remember the girl whom had a bunch of annoying strategies that drove you mad back at the air pillar. Yes thats right its Annoying Amy and after her failure to stop you climbing back in the pillar she's been relagated to door Duty as punishment. Anyway she has the same trollish team as before thats designed to infruiate. So basically as soon you figure out how to get in (I'm working on a card hunt or something lol) you will see her. You also learn she is a bit of a verlisciel fangirl

http://pastebin.com/NWY4MWUq - Basically a bunch of annoying strategmns that eventually lead to a sand veil gliscor sweep. She better then before but not much.

Quote's
Pre-Battle: Its you... You humiliated me infront of my comrades and then the dreamy verlisciel chided me for letting you past. Not happening again I'll hold you here and get revenge.
Battle: The Secrets within shall stay out of your grasp. Verlisciel will be impressed and will become my lover
Final Pokemon: Not again, It cant end like this. I'm sorry verlisciel
Player Victory: Fuck...Now he will never see me as a lover. I hate you smogon jerk
Player Defeat: I knew you were weak. Verlisciel come to me
Post Battle: So you got past me, wait till you reach the lower levels. A nasty surprise awaits you

Discussion Point: For this Base I'm gonna propose 2 things that I will discuss in more detail but just figured I would get it out there. I think the pokemon hazards seen in the Air-pillar should make a return and as this base's Gimmick once your below the first level Every TLS grunt should have a mega of somekind or a cloned legendary like genesect to show how close they are to achieving there goals. On that note just how many levels should this base be and how should it be structured. Right now we only know its located in a well and that Diancie is imprisoned somewhere near the bottom

Last edited:
I was thinking the base could be somewhat ladder-shaped, with the rungs of the ladder being hallways that have small rooms attached to them. It symbolizes how one has to go to the bottom of the ladder to reach the lowest of the Pokemon community (in terms of skill, that is).

Yeah Ladder is defiantly a solid Idea. Fits perfectly The lower down the ladder the worse the scum AKA verlisciel and Admins at the bottom :) with grunts and Traps closer to the top. And 4-6 levels sounds right but we will cross that bridge when we come to it. 1 verlisciels bad youtub vids should also be watchable here just for comedy lol

Anyway I'm gonna build on the town starting with a name: I propose we name this Town Wyrm Obscurus Island Wyrm obviously means Dragon and Obscurus is Latin for unknown, concealed and shrouded. which is what it is Largely unkown to outsiders.

Gonna be posting a place could the Bigots lodge shortly which is basically just a collection of crazy oldies who hate outsiders, say silly stuff and make you battle them in previous gen battles for items but I'm half asleep now so it'll come tommorow

You replied faster then lightning strikes the ground Phione. I'm fine either way but if it is to long we'll name it Obscurus Island. I'll leave it for you and the others to decide. Someone may come up with a better name

Come to think of it It maybe time to add a costume hunt trainer.

Sorry everyone that I haven't been posting much. Work as well as trying and failing to get reqs for the suspect have got in the way. Anyway so this is not a waste

Location proposal : Oldies House located at harbor as you enter town this house is pretty much the definition of closed off to the outside world. Outside there's a gardener who tells at every kid telling them they've trained there pokemon wrong while inside things get more awkward as I will detail in quotes below. There is also a tv blaring news about the suspect
Old man 1: You came from accross the water. No preaching none of us are interested in these so called new age fairies you hear. Only dragons
Old lady 1: kids these days walk claiming they know everything. I can name all 151 pokemon that's how many there are? What 721. You stupid kid only 151 are viable
Old lady 2: I only play gen 1 punk. Talk to me when you've talked to everyone

Old lady 3: Damn chitlens need to learn to respect the ways of the islanders from....wait....this is an island?" Bar take this wipper snapper it's the tm for blizzard now get out

After that the rest are to senile and say stereotypical stuff. There's also a tv here dealing with the suspect test but if you get in the way you'll get yelled "TLS ain't gonna like this...Hey out of the way I'm watching people fail to get reqs....what are reqs tho"

Once you've done e everything talk to the gardener out the front to be hooked up to a gen 1 random simulator.

So overall you get blizzard and a gen 1 simulator here

Proposing 2 TLS Grunts Steven and Anthony. They act as sentries and standing conspicuously near the entrance (thus, alerting you of the location of the base). They were basically sleeping at their post and only challenges you if you talk to them.

Quotes (TLS Grunt Steven)
Pre-battle
" ZzzzZZ. It's boring isn't it?. .... Hey, wait, what are you doing here? There's nothing suspicious about this well at all. "

If you lose
" Haha, there's certainly nothing suspicious about the well here. "

If you win
" This isn't good. Our hideout might be discovered. I'd better tell the admins. "

Quotes (TLS Grunt Raymond)
Pre-battle
" Being a sentry? No, there's certainly nothing suspicious here. Just two men in front of a well. "

If you lose
" As I said, standing in front of a well is perfectly normal. "

If you win

All is forgiven Phione. I've been kinda busy over christmas so its not your fualt for letting it Drop. Anyway I'll post a proposal about the gym soon and we'll both get this thing rolling again

Ok so, time for plot expositiony breadcrumb stuff that will give you clues to the origin of TLS.

TLS Proposal

Inside the TLS Base each admin and the leader will have a personal room full of their items and such that will give us insights into their personality and stuff. I'll be doing Leader Verlisciel's room first.

When you enter his room you will see a bed and neat desk drawer, a desk with a variety of papers spread over it, and a small model of a Furfrou next to his desk. There is also a hidden Big Nugget behind the bed as a reward for going back there. You can interact with various parts of the room.

Interacting with the bed: "It's a purple bed. The covers are drawn, but poking out from beneath them, you can see a small token bearing the TLS emblem."
Interacting with the drawer: "It's a desk drawer. It has two compartments in it. Open one?"
Choices: - Do not open a drawer, - Open the top compartment, - Open the bottom compartment.
Top compartment: "Inside the top compartment, you find a couple letters addressed to or from the admins of TLS."
Letter One: "Dear Verlisciel,
I have run into a spot of trouble concerning a child going by the name of <playername>. Although my mission to obtain the Gengarite succeeded, the annoying child and the local gym leader they allied with almost cost me the mission. I wholeheartedly recommend that the child be dealt with before they compromise more of our missions to make SmogSmog a better and more free region.
Best,
Admin Uxis."

Letter Two: "Dear Leader Verlisciel,
The omnipresent tyranny of SmogSmog is neverending. Just recently they passed a so-called 'Baton Pass Clause Mark III', rendering my latest use of the move Baton Pass irrelevant. How far are these fascists willing to go? I would like to request reinforcements for the planned attack on Concile Town.
Sincerely,
Admin Denisis."

Letter Three: "Verlisciel,
Project #0666 is ready for activation at your command.
~ Lucille."

Letter Four: "Dear Lucille,
Do not activate Project 0666. I have wholly reconsidered and decided that it is incredibly dangerous and unnecessary. Your work in resurrecting Genesect should be enough for us to take the SmogSmog leadership easily, and if we lost control of the project, the consequences could be disastrous. I repeat, do not activate the project.
Yours,
Leader Verlisciel."

Letter Five: "Verlisciel,
Understood. Another time, then. Science will prevail.
~ Lucille."
Bottom compartment: "Inside the bottom compartment, you find a crumpled-up, unsent letter from Verlisciel."
Crumpled Letter: "Dear Admins,
I have been thinking of disbanding Team Luck-Sack and starting anew. Although the tyranny of Smogon still pervades our region, perhaps such spill of blood is not worth it for our cause.
Snap out of it, Verlisciel. Don't lose your nerve now!"

EDIT:
Interacting with Furfrou statue: "It is a Furfrou statue. It bears a plaque saying, "Fluffles - Best friend forever."

Interacting with desk: "There are numerous papers strewn across the desk. Choose one to read."
The first paper is a detailed plan for the assault on Concile Town. The second is a report of Admin Uxis's actions. The third is a newspaper bearing several articles, one of which describes a group of people calling themselves "Smogon" rising up and taking over the region, and deporting or killing many unviable Pokémon. This article is circled in red. Another circled article describes one such incident, in which a family had their Purugly and Furfrou taken away because they were deemed unviable. Finally, the last paper is a handwritten note reading, "Together forever, even in death. We will get retribution together."

Gym Proposal (Dragon Gym): Aside from the arena this is the biggest feature of the Town itself and is rather dominent in the town covering a massive portion of the town and covered in Statues and muruals of the great dragon pokemon that live around smog-smog. The mandibuzz that were on the path to the arena also hide in the grass around the gym driving off the unworthy and adding to the sense of forboding the building gives off. Once inside you quickly see why the building is so big. Its built over a windswept chasm that guards secrets, trainers and the statuette's you'll need to reach the gym leader whom hide's behind Iron doors on the far end in a process designed like the arena to make you feel insignificant. Mandibuzz, Dratini and the occasional altaria roam the chasm and are catchable

Detail stuff
Door Greeter: When you enter first enter a young lady with red hair and dressed in a red and white gown will greet you. At first appearing to be a mute and unable to speak she hide's a secret and after peering into your soul for what appears to be forever will start talking to you telepathically about whats required to reach the gym leaders

Quotes: ......''Looks like you are worthy, I can see you've done much good across the land and helped people of all colours and styles whilst ignoring the trappings of power. Despite what some may say about outsiders here and non-dragons the world needs everyone to achieve balance and harmony something my ''kind'' and the Gym leader recognise and by allowing you in you've passed the first test. ''

As you approach the chasm: ''I bet your confused, My names lyla, I guard the entryway and fly trainers accross this vast chasm to collect statues so that the door to the leader can be opened. Silly human you still haven't worked it out yet. Allow me to show you''
Flash of light because lylas a show off
I'm a latias, Crazy hey? I disappoint so many boys when I transform haha...Anyway I'm here to aid the gym leader and Scare Fly trainers accross the chasm, just dont get touchy otherwise I'll drop you into the chasm. Can you use your own pokemon? No because then I dont get the pleasure of scaring you. When your ready we shall fly

Gym Puzzle: As the inside of the gym is dominated by a chasm and Gym leaders door is locked on the far side of it You are required to fly across it in order to not only reach the door but aqquire the means itself to open it. 5 different trainers guard statues at different sections of the chasm whom you must beat to collect mini versions of them so that you may open the door to the gym leader.

To reach these you must ride on the back of gyms latias whom also happens to also be the girl that greets you at the front (Damn Latis disguising themselves as humans) and fly against the different air currents within along certain air paths. Push latias to fast or enter the wrong air current and she will drop you into the chasm requiring you to restart from the last trainer you were at. In addition to this Mandibuzz, Dragoniar and Altaria roam the Chasm

To ensure I got everything

Pokemon Proposal: Dragoniar
Reason: Evolves into Dragonite, a Pokemon who can be a choice user, revenge killer and a Dragon dancer. Plus it can spread T-wave lol not to mention none in the line have appeared yet
- Rare
- Found inside the Gyms chasm while riding Lyla (Latias)
- 5% Draco Plate

Pokemon Proposal: Gabite
Reason: Evolves into Garchomp who can be used as a tank or physical wallbreaker. Plus, none of the line has appeared yet.
-Rare
-Found in a cave on the Island
-10% chance to hold Rocky Helmet.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Dragon Tamer Proposal
Proposing Dragon Tamer Joshua. Joshua is a Dragon Tamer who aims to join the Gym Trainers and is training alone on the island.

Quotes (Dragon Tamer Joshua)
Pre-battle
" Hey, you look suspicious. Are you one of the members of the group who called themselves Team Luck Sack?"
If you lose
" That will teach you to respect the powers of a Dragon Tamer. "

If you win
" Team Luck Sack members are around this area, insulting the powers of Dragon-types. Apparently they said Dragon-types are not legendary so it is weak. "

As for the TLS, I think we can reintroduce TLS members fought in the previous scenario with updated teams and unique dialogue depending on whether you encountered them or not. This gives a sense of continuity.

Thanks the proposal Passerby :D

Yeah I agree. Previous TLS member can make returns here. I'm gonna add a few from the Tower and obviously Verlisciel will be here. It is there big base after all, I reckon we can start posting about the base to if we wish. We have enough about the town. Sorry about the hiatus, Things were busy but now I have a little more freedom. I'll upload the 5 gym trainers shortly enough. I just need someone to do the leaders team. Any volunteers?.

TLS Fringe Group + Hard Boss Battle + Stuff
So, as I've said, basically there's a TLS fringe group who's convinced that Mewtwo is the ultimate Pokémon and they're trying to get it and be powerfuls and stuff. In addition, my alter ego TLS scientist character, Lucille, will be leading them in an attempt to rebel against the main TLS and take over the world and steal all the pies and whatnot. They will fail, but not before a pretty hard boss battle. Oh, and there's a ridiculously hard sequential boss battle related to this post-game. So let's jump in, shall we?

In the TLS base, there will be at one point a locked door that cannot be accessed without the key card. To get that card, you will have to venture into a side room where there are three TLS Grunts waiting for you.

TLS Grunt 1
Pre-battle: "Don't tell the boss we're here. This is top secret."
Player loses: "Serves you right for trying to turn us in."
Player wins: "Please don't turn me into the boss! I'll let you pass, just don't tell him!"

TLS Grunt 2
Pre-battle: "Hey, what are you doing here? The artificial Pokémon is going to wake soon!"
Player loses: "Get out and don't come back! This is our turf!"
Player wins: "You may be strong, but you can't hope to stand up to the artificial Pokémon.

TLS Grunt 3
Pre-battle: "You can't stop us. No one will be able to stop us soon."
Player loses: "Our power is too great. Even our former friends will soon bow before us."
Player wins: "Such power! How... how could you beat me?"

Once you beat the grunts, you can venture onwards where Lucille is waiting for you next to a fancy-pants machine.
Lucille: "So it's you again, trying to stop another one of my beautiful artificial Pokémon from being born. Well, I'll have you know you're too late. This altered Mew clone was, in fact, made possible by an extract of your own Mew's DNA! What irony, yes? Well, we shouldn't keep my beautiful Mewtwo waiting, should we?"
*chamber opens and Poké Ball rolls out*
Lucille: "Prepare to be defeated by the next leader of Team Luck-Sack and the ultimate Pokémon!"
*battle with Lucille's team, in which she uses Genesect, Mega Mawile, and Mewtwo, which I will teambuild someday*
Post-battle: "...You defeated... Mewtwo? The ULTIMATE POKÉMON? My research... It was supposed to be unbeatable... No matter. You can pass. Here is the key." *gives key*

Player quietly notes to themselves as they leave that they never actually did anything about that Mewtwo, but say to themselves that the authorities can handle it.
