Hey all!

It's finally that time again! We are teetering on the edge of Pokémon Sword and Shield being released to the world on November 15th. As usual, we believe there may be a copy in the wild before that happens! If this does indeed happen, this thread will contain links to major spoilers which make up the games. This may include Pokémon Data, Route Data, Gym Leader levels, Story progression and other miscellaneous information. Marty has created another thread for Battle Mechanics found here: https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/sword-shield-pre-release-battle-mechanic-questions.3655528/

In concert with this thread, the original thread, FOUND HERE, will continue until launch as the "official" place to discuss NINTENDO RELEASED INFORMATION. Once the games have been released, we will make some threads for Team Building/"What did you use?" (there will also be a thread for this pre-release based on any data mined information), discussion of the story and any other relevant threads (Ingame Tier Thread, general discussion thread, TM Location thread etc). Please contact Codraroll or DHR-107 if you have any information which may help us get started on these threads (Chances are we will very much be in the loop anyway).

holy shit that elephants cute as fuck. the fox and meowth (?) are great too. honestly there's a lot of things i'm disliking in this gen. but pokemon design isn't one of them at all!

So according to /vp/, and standing to three things (the Mobile PC, and my policies: only using reptiles and dinosaurs, and only new mons in the first games of a gen) I'll have to manage an 11-mon party.

Yung Dramps

awesome gaming
Bruh what the fuck even is that Galarian Meowth???

It doesn't even look like a Pokemon: It's more like a cartoon character. And I L O V E I T.

Where are all these images coming from? Is the source consistent or is it varied?

Also, PLEASE POST MORE GALARIAN FORMS. I NEED TO SEE EM ALL

I don't know if it was specified, but the alleged Meowth and its evolution look more like mankey/primeape variants to me.

I don't have any interest in animalistic designs, so nothing exciting to me yet.
