Last time I started exploring the Asado Desert and got swept by a running ostrich.

Well, I still need to get through the desert, if I want to return the wallet.

How about what? A plate of buttered lobster spaghetti?

Ew, Farfalline! Don't trace your opponents when they're so sticky!

Oh no, did Farfalline just lose to this sticky sea slug?

Are those meteor rocks or are those ancient meatballs?

Oh what, you use a move and have all your stats raised? That's cheating!

Considering I don't eat sea slugs, it is ok to poison it.

NO! If you paralyze Spirali, he will die for real!

That sea slug was somehow tougher than a venomous snake to beat. The Pokemon world is truly amazing.

I've always known Pappardelle as a big eater but stealing others' berries might be a little too mean.

In the middle of nowhere, I received a call from Arven telling me a titan is nearby, but I got no time for that right now!

Huh, what is this Pokemon? It kinda looks like my food basket.

Note to self, do not use Icy Wind on Bramblin, 'cause they ride on winds.

That's a cool Pokemon, but it's a little to spooky for me.

I'm relieved I haven't run into that giant ostrich again.

Farfalline, you can't just sip on saps, if you want to grow healthily!

Well, I guess sipping saps can also make you grow stronger, huh.

I wonder what plants eat in the desert. It seems like chlorophyll won't be too useful here.

Look what I found! A TM for Light Screen! It should be useful for my Psychic-type Pokemon!

I don't really think you can create a sand stream, when there is already a strong sandstorm.

This desert is too dry, and Conchiglie is here to moist it up!

Well, I HAVE TO let Rotelle roll around the desert!

Rotelle is a slow roller, but he's definitely having fun with his mud ball.

There is an ancient ruins in the desert! You can even see Bronzor floating by!

This place is littered with TMs! Did someone drop all these or what?

The most useful one is probably this one. This place is SO dry.

Since Rotelle is not a Psychic-type, I'm not leaving him at the back of the team during battles.

Another TM! This one sounds like it'd be useful in an eating marathon!

A Special Episode

(Guess what, it's Aidge's birthday! 7/7 for this lucky girl!)

(Took me a few tries, but we finally caught a Girafarig with the Destiny Mark! I'mma give this back to Adige, see ya!)

Woah! Lotty has grown up! She got so much stronger, but her creepiness didn't change at all!

There's also a new Pokemon on the team! Ravioli the Chosen One is a cute little giraffe!

Ravioli is so much taller and stronger than the rest of my Pokemon!

Well, I'll have Ravioli lead the way for right now.

Seems like Ravioli wants to go to the grassfields! That has gotta be better than the desert, right?

Outdoor Buffet

Well, Ravioli really likes this place! It's like her home!

Ravioli wants to play with her fellow Girafarig! So cute!

She's playing with them, right? Not murdering, right? Ok.

Conchiglie, now's not the time to forget things!

Ooh, a sand castle. I loved playing with those when I was a kid!

Oh no, it's Orecchiette's worst nightmare, a moth with big scary wings.

I think Ravioli is just kinda deciding on what she wants to do, rather than listening to my order ...

Meanwhile, I think Orecchiette wants to slam opponents with his Zen Headbutt!

Ravioli is leading me to the lighthouse. Is something over there?

In fact, Farfalline went and grabbed more beef servings for the team!

Farfalline's reward for defeating all those Tauros was some Magical Leaf for dessert!

You know what, sea urchin is a great option for afternoon tea.

Fillet This Way

Last time, Ravioli the Chosen Girafarig joined the team, but she also started to disobey my orders.

Reaching the port this way wasn't a great idea, 'cause I need to surf my way through!

Surfing is quite tiring, and I can really go for some hake fillets right now.

Good. Can't eat this hake if it is molded.

This Veluza is a vigorous one, and Lotty poisons it to keep it cool.

Veluza is a powerful Pokemon, but luckily Lotty has been hanging on with her best!

But maybe Lotty isn't actually that tough after all.

I know that Conchiglie loves fishing! I bet he'll enjoy this hake meal too!

And the dinner is ready~

Wait ... Veluza is a Psychic-type Pokemon? How?

Well, I have my rules. Maltagliati the Veluza will be the next addition to the team instead of my dinner tonight.

Maltagliati is a sassy one, but he loves to eat! I think I just found myself!

This isn't the right way to the Porto, but I found a TM for Heat Wave! Think that may be helpful for my microwave oven.

Surf a little more and I can see buildings over there! I think I found the place!

I reached land, and it is Porto Marinada, the place I need to go!

It's raining, so I let Conchiglie out and play in the puddles!

It took Conchiglie a while to climb the stairs, but I think he's trying to lead me there!

I finally found the guy who lost his wallet, and it looks like he realizes it now!

Why is the Sand Wet?

If the man needs to buy ingredient, then I've gotta help him out by giving him back his wallet!

Oh come on, this is super important! Let me talk to the man!

And of course, everyone in Paldea settles things with Pokemon battles!

Ouch! That Floatzel is so fast and so strong!

Well Farfalline now knows how to cast leaves magically to hit her opponents! So, take that!

Well, Farfalline is probably still a little seasick from all those surfing. Maybe it's time for her to take a rest.

The seaside is totally Conchiglie's battle court!

Aw man, Conchiglie got bitten and flinched! I mean, that's fair facing againt a giant sea weasel.

And it happens again ... Conchiglie is a little coward.

Nothing I can do when my Pokemon just flinches and does nothing!

Orecchiette, I trust that you are a braver one!

Floatzel hits Orecchiette with an Aqua Jet, but I know he can take a jet head-to-head!

It takes just one High Jump Kick to finish Floatzel! Good job, Orecchiette!

Oh, it's the shrimp Pokemon again! I want some crispy shrimp tempura today!

Wait, you have Aqua Jet too? Luckily, that didn't hit that hard!

Orecchiette's hard meditating didn't go to waste! He almost knocked shrimp mon out with a Zen Headbutt!

And then he swiftly finishes things up with a Feint attack! Nicely done!

Now that the trainer is taken care of, I should be able to speak to old man Kofu.

Hey man, I have your wallet! You almost lost your lunch money!

Kofu is actually here to buy something from the auction.

And that something is ... THE LEGENDARY WAKAME SEAWEED? All the way from the Hoenn region?

I want that! And I'm not the only one here!

Oh my lord! Kofu knows the stuff! He knows exactly why this seaweed is so amazing!

I'll do whatever I can to help Kofu win that seaweed!

Nobody can stop me buying this seaweed! Sell to me please!

Well, I used Kofu's money for it, so the seaweed does rightfully belong to Kofu ...

I hope he treats the seaweed nicely ... I wonder if he knows how to cook.

And since I helped Kofu out, I can now challenge his Gym.

The Surging Chef (No Gameplay)

Before I go back to Cascarrafa for the Gym battle, I took a tour with Conchiglie looking at the beautiful wall paintings in Porto Marinada.

Kofu also left me with some bonus cash, and the wise thing to do here is of course to use them all at Artisan Bakery.

Let's treat ourselves with a Marmalade Sandwich before setting off again!

The port isn't too big of a place, so I think it's finally time to go.

I need to go back to the Cascarrafa Gym to report to Kofu's staff.

I don't wanna walk through the desert again, so I just flew my way back.

I did quite a lot of Pokemon battles in the desert, and I was rewarded with a TM for Earthquake!

Earthquake is a strong move! I can give it to either Conchiglie or Ravioli, but I'm saving it for right now!

I went back to the Cascarrafa Gym, but I was greeted by Nemona. She always shows up when I least expect it!

Nemona claims that it was a sheer coincidence we run into each other, but I don't believe her.

Thankfully, she wasn't going to challenge me this time! But I think that means she will challenge me next time!

Nemona gave me some Ethers and just ran away. Sometimes, she just gets way too excited.

So, I actually didn't finish the official Gym Test here, but the staff lady let me through, 'cause I helped her out!

Wait, Kofu is the Surging what now?

Kofu owns a restaurant, and he's super popular among the residents here?

Being a Gym Leader is only part of Kofu's work. His real identity is a chef of a restaurant!

Kofu's gonna make some great dishes with the seaweed I bit for him!

I can't believe it! Kofu's the famous chef I've been searching for this whole time!

Bring it on, Kofu! You need to treat me with a nice seaweed dish after this battle!

In Deep Water

Last time, I delivered the wallet to Mr. Kofu, who ends up being the chef I've been looking for!

I need to beat Mr. Kofu in a Gym Battle before I can visit his restaurant!

There we go! And of course Mr. Kofu has a Veluza! He's a certified gourmet!

I prefer cutting the Veluza to getting cut by the Veluza, 'cause it hurts so much!

Spirali tried to shine Veluza with some shiny gems, but it didn't do much!

Well, I need to do something, so how about switching Spirali out for Conchiglie to take his spot?

Conchiglie doesn't mind getting cut by water, 'cause he goes swimming all the time!

Conchiglie, you have to hang on! Getting your throat slashed shouldn't stop you from gobbling down that hake!

Conchiglie's plan is to make Veluza tired with a Yawn! *yawn* Oh no, I think I'm the one catching it.

Conchiglie got slashed again! Luckily, he's quite oblivious to his cuts.

Conchiglie isn't taking much damage, but he isn't doing much damage either. I need a new strategy!

Veluza finally goes to sleep after seeing Conchiglie yawn! That's honestly how most people fish.

I called for another switch, this time bringing Farfalline out!

I need to treasure this opportunity while Veluza is still asleep!

Time for some Magical Leaf! Show everyone your magic!

Veluza might not be catching any small fish, but it's certainly catching some Z's.

One more Magical Leaf, and we're almost there! Farfalline, you need some slightly more magical magic.

Veluza woke up and chose violence. Farfalline almost got knocked out instantly! That hake is powerful!

Farfalline can't wait to eat her dinner! Let's give Veluza a final Draining Kiss! It was so good that Farfalline felt so energized!

Oh, finally. This might be my longest battle with a fish as of yet, and I've had some wild bluefin tuna.

What, you can't just send out three sausages at once!

Oh never mind, it's a Pokemon called Wugtrio, which doesn't look as edible as Mr. Kofu's first Pokemon.

And it hits hard. Farfalline got knocked out after those three (?) headbutts!

Well, I think Lotty should be able to deal with this three-headed monster right here. I'm sure she's seen some shits.

Lotty, you're not really telling me the important information.

Wugtrio hit Lotty with a Headbutt! Who would've thought?

Our team has been taking so much damage, so Lotty put up a Reflect screen to protect her teammates!

Wugtrio switches things up and hits Lotty with Water Pulse this time! I'm sure Lotty is fine with that!

Lotty has always been good at taking hits but not so much doing damage. At least that's some progress made.

Ew! Wugtrio is so gooey Lotty became slower after touching it!

Another Water Pulse and Lotty's still unfazed.

'Cause she can get her health back with Drain Punch!

The drawback is that Lotty becomes even slower after that.

Wugtrio goes back to using Headbutt, but Lotty is still not taking too much damage! She's so strong!

One more Drain Punch and Wugtrio's gone! I've always trusted Lotty with this!

Of course, Lotty got slower again, but that was worth it getting Wugtrio out.

King Crab Linguine

Mr. Kofu's down to his last Pokemon, and it probably will be his strongest one!

Atlantic King Crab's on the menu? Why did nobody tell me that?

And Mr. Kofu's king crab is transforming right off the bat? I hope it turns up with garlic and butter by its side!

Never mind, Mr. Kofu is actually just Terastallizing his crab into a Water-type.

And Mr. Kofu's gonna show us his big move, claiming his title as the Surging Chef!

Lotty gets hit by a Crabhammer. That's not how you cook a crab!

Well, if I'm not eating this crab, then I'mma poison it!

Food poisoning alert! Do I need to call an ambulance for you?

Uh-oh! Lotty's Reflect screen wore off at the wrong time.

Without the protection of Reflect, Lotty couldn't take another Crabhammer! She did great though!

Lotty, we'll always remember you as the true heroine.

The good thing is, Crabominable should be weakened enough by its poison.

Spirali made a swift return to the battlefield! I think he's excited for crabsticks too!

Spirali went for his usual Psybeam shenanigans, but he actually didn't do much damage.

But! It was enough to confuse Crabominable! Spirali is just too mesmerizing, I guess.

Well, Spirali still did great, but he fell to a powerful Crabhammer.

Spirali, please don't stop bouncing, you're gonna die.

If there's anyone on the team brave enough to take on a king crab, it has to be Orecchiette.

Orecchiette practices kicking every day, and this is one time we need it the most!

Orecchiette breaks Crabominable's Tera Jewel and sends it back to its Poke Ball!

I win the Gym Battle! I'm now officially invited to Mr. Kofu's restaurant!

Ooh! I can't wait for the seafood feast!

Oh, and the Gym Badge too, I guess. This should make Nemona happy.

Ravioli should start listening to my orders now!

Mr. Kofu teaches me how to prepare for big meals. Rinsing the ingredients with Chilling Water is a great way to start!

I'll definitely come back to see you, Mr. Kofu! Please tell me whenever you get new menu ideas!

Before I got to leave the Gym, a stranger approached me.

Apparently, Nemona has been spreading rumors about me! Telling others I'm promising?

The stranger is Mr. Hassel, part of the Elite Four, which sounds like a group of powerful people.

He's actually a teacher at the academy! That makes him slightly less scary.

Well, I'm not really trying to collect Gym Badges. I just happen to be here on my quest of finding good food.

The Great Crater sounds like somewhere with absolutely no food to eat.

No sir, I'm not even trying to compete with Nemona. I do not aim to achieve what she has achieved.

Sir, I get my a-behinds kicked by a random ostrich the other day. I don't think I'll ever reach the Champion rank.

Art class? Maybe. Home Ec classes are still my higher priorities.

With the second Badge equipped, Ravioli will listen to me when I ask her to do things!

So, I heard there's a great restaurant nearby in the Western Provinces.

But I must first pass through the Asado Desert again! Maybe I'll do that, think I forgot something over there!

What The Tusk

Last time, I beat Mr. Kofu, the world-famous chef hiding in the town of Cascarrafa.

I'm going back to the Asado Desert to finish all the unfinished business.

Don't you think Rufflet looks like it lives in the cold instead of a hot desert like this?

I notice there are quite many elephants running around. What does that imply?

ARGH! I thought this was just a scarecrow! I'm definitely the one scared now.

A Pokemon ambushing trainers like this must be evil as hell!

Kicking a cactus may not seem like a good idea, but it works well at the end. I'll take that.

This sandstorm is so strong I can't see what's around me!

DON'T SNEAK UP ON ME WHILE I'M GETTING SAND OUT OF MY EYES!

Don't be angry at me! You're the one who attacked me!

Mr. Donphan, you're getting hotheaded. I think you should cool down a little bit and go surfing.

That wasn't enough to calm Donphan down, and it went for another Stomping Tantrum, stomping Conchiglie's life away.

Now that I have my second Gym Badge, Ravioli should follow my order! She's the chosen one!

Beam it up, Ravioli. Show it the power of having two heads!

Knock it off! Donphan almost knocked Ravioli out in one shot! This elephant doesn't mess around!

Honestly, I kinda hope Ravioli uses her tail head to fire a second beam. Could be helpful, y'know.

And there she goes. Ravioli got slammed to dust.

Donphan already took out two of my Pokemon. Let's hope Spirali doesn't become the third one.

You know, Icy Wind seems like the perfect move to use in this burning desert.

Battling this big elephant was rough. I hope don't run into any other huge elephants rolling around.

Spirali is evolving! He grew into an S-tier Iberico pork!

Oh, Spirali. You are into this mind control shit too? You've been hanging around with Lotty too much.

Anyhoo, let's celebrate Spirali's evolution with a Teeter Dance!

What the Pluck

I still don't remember what I forgot about the Asado Desert, but I found something that I'll never forget.

You know what they say, you cannot run away from your mistakes! You also cannot run away from Espathra, because it is fast as fuck.

Espathra is SO NOISY and so strong with its attacks! I can't calm myself down with this uproar going on!

Ravioli couldn't do that much damage, even though Assurance is super effective! Wait a second, is this thing weak to Dark-type moves?

Ravioli wouldn't be able to take another Uproar, so I switched her out to Campanelle!

Espathra's Uproar is not very effective on Campanelle! I mean, you can't just scream to a bronze coin and expect it to shatter.

That being said, Campanelle probably can't take too many Uproar attacks. I gotta come up with something!

Campanelle uses Payback on Espathra! If I were a Pokemon, I would probably use that on Espathra's face too!

Finally! Espathra calms down after screaming for so long.

Espathra tried to pluck Campanelle, but Campanelle wasn't holding berries to begin with! I bet your beak hurts so much now!

I know that Espathra is much faster than Campanelle, so Gyro Ball should be a good option!

Espathra uses ... Psybeam. Hold on a second, does that mean? No way.

Campanelle, remember how Espathra swept the team last time! Pay that back!

And Campanelle got knocked out by Psybeam. Honestly a little rude to get knocked out by a Psychic-type move.

Hey Lotty, can you hypnotize that Espathra into being so freaking aggressive? That would be a good use of your pendulum for once.

Nope, plucking Lotty is never a good idea.

Lotty, give Espathra the biggest burp and poison it please.

Agility? I don't think that's necessary. Unless you want to speed up your death, hahaha.

Slam that ostrich with your head! Don't put your head in the sand, though.

Nuh-uh. Lotty doesn't mind noisy Pokemon, but Lotty will find a way to make them shut up.

By headbutting again and putting that Espathra down!

You know what they say, revenge is a dish best served cold and I don't mind some cold dishes right now!

With that tough Pokemon gone, I remember what I need! That's right! Arven told me there's a Titan in the desert!

Big Rollers

Last time, I found that annoying ostrich and beat it to dust, hoping to never see this thing ever again.

And then I remembered that I need to look for the Quaking Earth Titan, which is said to lurk in this desert.

The only thing quaking the earth I can see here is Donphan, so let's start investigating with these wild elephants.

Maybe some Icy Wind will slow and cool Donphan down.

No! Please don't knock Spirali off! He needs his pearls to cast psychic spells!

With a tantrum that stomps the ground, you would think Donphan IS the Titan we're looking for.

Ravioli, I choose you!

Ravioli quickly finished Donphan. Donphan can't be the Titan if it can be beaten so easily!

Now imagine, a bigger Donphan that rolls around the desert. No way that would happen, right?

What is this thing? I don't think I've seen anything like this in the desert before.

It's called Larvesta and it's a burning bug. I hate it, thanks.

I eat many kinds of food, but bug larvae are never on the menu.

Instead, let's just Zen Headbutt them out of existence.

Oh right! I forgot wild Rellor live here. Maybe I should let Rotelle out one of these days.

A floating bronze coin does make sense to use odd, unseeable power. Let's go for it!

Twin Beam sounds like a weak move, so I'll have Ravioli skip over that!

Lotty upgrades her Headbutt into the superior Zen Headbutt.

Hm, that Donphan looks different.

Upon a closer look, this wild elephant is HUGE, like titanic I'd say!

The giant elephant rolled into me and started shaking the ground!

I found it! This must be the Quaking Earth Titan! I need to call Arven about this!

ELEvated Quickly

Wait, this isn't Arven. Did I dial the wrong number?

Professor Turo told me some information about this Titan Pokemon. Apparently, it is a dangerous Pokemon called Iron Treads.

I must admit, Iron Treads is probably the most uncreative name I've ever heard.

If you want iron, you just go eat some beef and fish, okay?

Anyways, back to business. Iron Treads hits like a truck with its Rapid Spin AND gets a speed boost! It might be unstoppable!

Luckily for us, Orecchiette has been busy training his High Jump Kick, which damages Iron Treads a lot, too!

Iron Treads went for Rapid Spin again, and Orecchiette went down. His bravery will always be remembered.

Iron Treads got another speed boost! I think it's more than a tread at this point!

Ravioli, I trust that you can handle things with your double brainpower!

I think Iron Treads got angry right there. Just look at its face.

And Ravioli goes down immediately. It was nice seeing you out, darling.

I'm backed into a corner, and I'm not sure what to do next! Let's see what Lotty comes up with!

For a Pokemon named Iron Treads, having an Iron Head is to be expected.

Yup, Iron Teads just used Iron Head again! Lotty was still hanging on, albeit barely.

Lotty then got some health back with Drain Punch! Punching an iron-made creature probably hurt though.

Iron Treads went for another Iron Head, but Lotty fought for her life just I won't feel sad!

Lotty barely has any health to live with, so she needs another Drain Punch!

Well, Lotty's love for me is, in fact, limited. So, she just decides to give up upon taking another Iron Head.

Lotty, you did great. But now I'm not sure what to do if even you have fallen.

Conchiglie loves beaches, and a desert isn't too far away from a beach, right?

Iron Treads hit Conchiglie with Iron Head. Even though Conchiglie resisted that hit, it still did so much!

Let's surf on sand! Iron Treads doesn't like getting water in its eyes!

And that coward rolled away after getting hit by Surf!

I tracked Iron Treads down, and it's just standing by a cliff!

Just like the Titan Klawf and the Titan Bombirdier, Titan Iron Treads started eating something from its secret hideout!

Spice It Up

Last time, I hunt down the Quaking Earth Titan, but it ran away mid-way through the battle.

Arven showed up just in time! I was thinking I might not be able to handle Titan Iron Treads on my own!

It seems like even Arven doesn't know too much about Iron Treads, but we'll still try our best to take down this thing!

Arven and I challenged the Quaking Earth Titan, but this time the titan got even more jacked up!

I sent out Conchiglie for the fight, while Arven has his Scovillain out! This is going to be a tasty victory!

With Arven's Scovillain here, that means my Pokemon has a 50% lower chance to get hit!

I think that Iron Treads has a pretty scary face, but Scovillain has two of them, so it wins.

Surf worked so well last time, so I thought I should keep using it in this battle as well.

But it also hit Scovillain! I don't wanna damage Arven's Pokemon, since he's here to help me, so maybe I'll stop using that move.

Scovillain is getting hungry and decides to bite Iron Treads with its fiery fangs.

Iron Treads attacked Scovillain again, and I'm starting to worry, 'cause I don't see Arven bringing a second Pokemon.

I need to switch up strategies for Conchiglie, and yawning is the first step.

And my plan is to ... switch Conchiglie out to Orecchiette!

Scovillain was trying to use Fire Fang again, but it missed! Probably got sand in its eyes or something.

Well, Orecchiette tried, but he couldn't do anything against Iron Treads' raging tantrum.

Meditation is not an easy task, and I think Orecchiette still got more training to do.

Iron Treads falls asleep after taking that Yawn, and you know what that means ...

Yup! Lotty is out finding sweet dreams to eat!

Imagine getting bitten by some Fire Fangs in your sleep but you can't wake up. Sounds like a nightmare to me.

Jokes on you! Lotty loves eating nightmares! The eerier the better!

Scovillain lands another Fire Fang on Iron Treads. That's what happens when you eat too many peppers.

Sometimes you wake up in the middle of the desert and you just wanna spin, really rapidly.

Rapin Spin knocked Scovillain out, and Arven didn't send anything back in. I think we're down to a 1-on-1 now!

For strong foes like this, putting a Reflect screen on should be a safe bet.

Not that the Reflect screen did much there, considering Iron Treads just lands critical hits.

But we're getting close to our goal! Lotty, you need just a bit more juice with your moves!

Ok, maybe Iron Treads didn't like that all that much. Another one bites the dust.

I think it's time for Lotty to go to sleep now.

Ravioli, you're up next!

Ravioli took that Rapid Spin just fine, and Iron Treads just keeps getting faster.

HA! Who's the one quaking the earth now? Isn't it ironic the Quaking Earth Titan is weak to Earthquake?

Ok, maybe I should not have made that joke. Iron Treads is fuming right now.

And the Reflect screen is gone! Things are not looking great, but we are almost there!

Beef It Up

Well, Conchiglie, now's the time for you to go back to the field!

You can't just spin in Conchiglie's face! You just got some sand all over his face now!

With Scovillain gone on the field, Surf is now a safe move to use!

We beat Iron Treads! Even though it got so much stronger and beefier this time!

Iron Treads shrinks back to what I assume is its normal size. I still don't think I've seen this Pokemon in the wild before.

Good job, Conchiglie. You just earned yourself a fishing vacation.

Or if you prefer just slacking off, that's fine too. I'm not judging.

Let's not forget about our main mission here! We're here for the Herba Mystica!

Here it is, the Sour Herba Mystica! I bet it is filled with citric vitamins!

Gobbling some sour food really helps with your appetite and they always perk me up.

But let's not forget: we're doing this for Arven's dear Mabosstiff!

And the sandwich, of course.

Another Herba Mystica found! We're doing pretty good I think!

As expected, Miraidon wants to join us for the picnic, and luckily Arven was prepared this time.

I'm only sharing because Arven has extra ready, and Miraidon didn't even say thank you.

I think we should let Mabosstiff eat first though. It needs the herbs the most.

When I eat the sandwiches, I feel nothing other than a full stomach; when Miraidon eats them, it always emits a mysterious glow!

And Miraidon always seems to gain some wild power after eating. Are the Herba Mystica just that powerful?

Arven and I spent some time discussing about the Herba Mystica, and we conclude that these titan Pokemon are not natural occurrence.

Then it must mean something about the herbs make the Titans titanic! They ARE mystical!

We were going to investigate a little more, until Mabosstiff just woofed!

Mabosstiff couldn't speak at all before, and now it's woofing! It's definitely recovering!

That's it! We must find the remaining two herbs and hope that Mabosstiff recover to its full form!

With the ability to glide in air, exploring the region should be even easier!

Rolling Around

Last time, Arven and I defeated Titan Iron Treads and obtained our third Herba Mystica. Just two more to go!

Time to put the herbs aside, I heard there's a famous restaurant in somewhere called Medali!

Excuse me, kiddo, what're you talking about?

Oh, ok. That reminds me to get a new frying pan one of these days.

Let's get to Porto Marinada and see what I can find!

With Miraidon's newfound ability of gliding, exploration is so much easier!

I didn't find anything excited at the port. So, I'll have to trek back while taking Rotelle out for a walk.

Rotelle looks so funny walking around! I love seeing him roll his mudball!

Oh, and this seems like a great time to picnic, too!

After walking so much, I think Rotelle needs to get a body wash. He doesn't like it, though.

What's a picnic without a great Ham Sandwich to go with it? I bet Rotelle like that a lot, too.

Wait, Rotelle really likes that sandwich and starts glowing afterwards!

Rotelle evolved into Rabsca, which is actually a Psychic-type Pokemon! This is amazing!

Rotelle can now revive fallen teammates, too! His psychic power is incredible!

Look at Rotelle, all grown up now!

Unfortunately, he no longer rolls on the ground, but he still rolls the red ball of doom above his head.

Now that Rotelle is a Psychic-type Pokemon, I can start using him in battles!

Your Psybeam won't work well on Rotelle, 'cause he gets the stronger psychic power!

As someone who uses Psychic-type Pokemon, I know that they don't like seeing Bug-type Pokemon.

It is so cruel to see this, but I think Rotelle will be tasked to handle opposing Psychic-type Pokemon we see along the way.

Hm, is it just me or is that pile of salt more dazzling than before?

Oh, this Naclstack Terastallizes itself to a Ghost-type! That's so spooky. Think I'll need some purifying salt to cleanse it up.

I'm so glad Ravioli isn't scared of stinky ghosts. She's so brave!

Huh, Naclstack just laid a curse on Ravioli! That's not very polite!

It's just a Pokemon battle, you don't need to take things so seriously.

Naclstack hurt itself with the curse, too! What a dramatic queen.

This cavern right here is apparently one of the ten tourist must-visit spots in Paldea.

Well, for me personally, eating indoors at a restaurant and eating at an outdoor picnic are equally enjoyable.

Rare Pokemon Collection

Dunsparce? This thing is very much not sparce.

Orecchiette doesn't believe in Acupressure; he only believes in food remedies.

Farfalline also passes over Charm. I guess she'd rather keep her attacks.

Ugh! Not sausage trio monster again!

I can't even run away from this Pokemon, 'cause it has Arena Trap! This is so unfair!

Stealth Rock? I'm not sure if my Pokemon are stealthy enough or rocky enough for this.

I just did some quick research on an online forum called Koffing. Apparently, this move is really good, and I should keep it.

What on earth? What is this purple gremlin? It looks so creepy!

If Psybeam doesn't work on this Pokemon, then it must be a Dark-type! That's why I don't like it!

Well, the solution is to use Draining Kiss instead. Goodbye, gemstone gremlin.

For evil being like this, giving them Draining Kiss always seems to work! The power of love (?).

They tried to use the Hex strategy again, but Farfalline didn't fall for that this time!

Another Draining Kiss and the odd plant is down. This is surely not a pleasant encounter.

The Illusion of Choice

Last time, I battled some rare Pokemon with one of them being a creepy evil rock-plant hybrid.

I'm finally out of the hollow dungeon. Let's celebrate and jump down!

And when I try to pull out the stake, it mysteriously disappears! Now I'm sure there's a ghost haunting this place.

Running into a venomous snake is always the worst nightmare of outdoor picnics.

Totally unrelated to your Pokemon, but do you know that snake soup is considered a healthy delicacy somewhere in the world?

Hm, I think this bridge will lead me the place I need to go.

Casseroya Lake? This lake better serves the best casseroles I've ever seen.

Duck meat isn't really what I expected from this giant casserole, but sure.

Well, if there are Slowpoke hanging around here, then this must be a great place to relax!

Suddenly I got attacked by a giant bird!

And it does not look very friendly ... One can even say it is intimidating.

Well, Orecchiette has never been a big bird lover, so ...

Even Campanelle's steely defenses do not work against this big bird!

This place is getting eerier at night. I think I just saw a giant bronze bell flying around.

Oh! That was actually Campanelle! It probably got jealous seeing all its friends evolving today!

Cats and Dogs

Last time Farfalline, Farfalle and Campanelle all evolved! They are getting so much stronger!

I found the town I'm looking for, but I decided to take a look at the wild area first.

I thought I found some extra-large Poke Balls, except this one has the colors reversed!

It is actually a Pokemon! Honestly, it almost looks like some pills.

Why did you do that? I don't think that's a smart strategy!

Maybe the smaller ones will be less destructive? Still too static to touch, though.

Hold on, is that a grown-up Fidough? Time for a bread feast!

Big bread dog is called Dachsbun and has a well-baked body! Can't disagree with that!

Sorry darling, I got an afternoon pastry tea party.

Man, Charcadet are everywhere. Those fellows are always up for a fight.

It is a cute Pokemon for sure, but I still don't plan to catch anything that's not a Psychic-type.

Woah, is that a wood jellyfish I saw? You don't see those every day.

Can't say I'm a big fan of wood jellyfish though. I don't like their texture, and they taste like Chinese medicine.

First of all, Farfalle doesn't eat seeds. Second of all, that hurts so much! Ouch!

Medali Food Tour

I was going to the famous restaurant in Medali, but this trainer here has something to say!

I can feel his anger! The kind of fury that only an unsatisfied foodie unleashes!

Oh, it actually has nothing to do with the food there. Well, I'm relieved.

I think I need to pay a visit to Treasure Eatery to see if it really is worth a 3-star rating!

Time to explore this town. I've heard only great things about this place!

Even the children are having some crepes. This is truly the town of happiness!

The Gym Leader of Medali must know a lot about food as well! I'm so excited!

Let's start with some sweet Alfajores to warm up our stomachs!

Mapo Tofu is so full of flavor, but it is so spicy it almost makes my throat burn!

I need to cool myself down with some Arroz con Leche!

Oh, how can I resist when they say things like that? These restaurants sure know how to grasp my heart!

Here's a Bird Set of Four-Piece Sushi! I wonder if they can put other Pokemon faces on the sushi!

The food at Gastronomie En Famille are so expensive! Luckily, I saved my money for this!

This dish tastes like it's made by a Rattata or something like that.

There are so many great food here in Medali. I even found some Leftovers by the tables!

And of course, I can't leave without some Chocolate Churro as dessert!

He's more of a day Pokemon, though, and he just fell asleep at nighttime.

Casunziei is new to the team, but he gets along well with others so easily!

I also just noticed Ferrazzuoli's Rare Mark. He's like the polar opposite of Casunziei.

Thanks to our food tours around town, Farfalle, Cappelletti and Conchiglie all received Gourmand Marks as proofs of their love for food!

Pre-Meal Warm Up

Last time I caught Casunziei the Espeon, who prefers to eat and play in daytime only.

I did some research on the famed Treasure Eatery, and apparently it is related to the Medali Gym in some ways!

And of course, Nemona called me right after I walked into the Gym! I think I can't run away from her this time.

Come on, I'm just here for the food, not another Nemona battle! Can I just say no to her?

Nope. Even though I didn't agree to her battle request, Nemona still wants to battle me. I'm speechless.

Oh, please don't. I'm definitely still not a very good Pokemon trainer! I'm only doing fine because my Pokemon are so strong!

Well, it is too late now. I'm getting challenged by Nemona!

I trust Farfalline to lead the team. She should be able to take whatever Nemona has prepared for me!

Now, let's not panic. I need to calm my mind to come up with good battle strategies.

Nemona started the battle with her adorable puppy. But no good girls are allowed to throw rocks at Farfalline's head!

Farfalline doesn't getting her hair messed up by some pointy pebbles, so she unleashed her fury on Rockruff!

There's no stopping Farfalline now. Pawmi went down in one hit as well.

Oh, look at that. Nemona's grass cat evolved into a bigger grass cat. Now it looks like a tall cucumber!

I'm somehow not too surprised to see Nemona Terastallizing her cat. I don't eat flowers, though, so I don't care too much.

Well, Farfalline is also powered up with her latest evolution, and she crushed Floragato with just one Dazzling Gleam.

I'll have to say Nemona wasn't too scary in that fight. Maybe me and my Pokemon are working well together now.

My rewards for winning this battle are three Full Heals! You always need some medicines in your bag when you are out venturing.

Oh thank God Nemona isn't challenging me again. I need to take a rest.

You know, battling Brassius and Mr. Kofu have been quite enjoyable. I'm interested to see what other Gyms have to offer!

I still don't think I'm strong enough for the Gym Assessments, but I'll stop by when I find a Gym.

Now that Nemona's out of the way, I can talk to the Medali Gym staff, who explains to me how to do the Gym Test.

And this might be my favorite Gym Test as of yet: ordering a secret menu at Treasure Eatery! I love it!

Before that, I must defeat other trainers who are trying to steal the secret dish from me! Well, I'm losing to them on this one!

This little girl is taking the Gym Test, but no way she can eat more than me!

Ooh, but her Pokemon certainly looks like a big eater with its Strong Jaw! Gotta be careful about that!

Farfalline did so well in that Nemona fight, so I trust that she can take care of these Gym challengers as well.

Argh! Don't bite Farfalline with your Super Fang! She's not food! Go eat something else!

One more Dazzling Gleam and Gumshoos' down. Who got the stronger jaw now?

Cappelletti, I know you're a nice Pokemon, but healing your targets in battles doesn't seem like a good strategy.

This girl has a Greedent next. I know this Pokemon, they always steal berries from my backyard!

And now Greedent's paralyzing Farfalline with its Body Slam. All I can say is I don't like this Pokemon!

Good job, Farfalline! Now's our time to take back Greedent's berries!

Secret Menu

Green beans taste boring, but you gotta eat them to maintain a healthy diet, not spill them!

I took a look at Dunsparce's information in the Pokedex. This Pokemon lives underground, and I can't imagine what food it can get to eat.

All these Pokemon battling is making me tired. I. Need. Food.

Let's hurry up with these Gym challengers and get to the exciting part soon!

Ok, so this should be the final trainer I need to beat. I'm so ready for the secret dish!

Oh no, Ursaring smells like honey, and Farfalline is heavily distracted!

Ordering food from menu is like a natural talent to me. I'm not worried at all.

Mr. Larry is giving great reviews to this restaurant! I'll definitely try it out some other time!

Food Coma

Last time I ordered several dishes from Treasure Medali and finally found the secret menu!

Now is time for the main dish, Gym Battle against Mr. Larry!

Well, I just ate too, so please don't go too hard on me either.

Mr. Larry's a Normal-type trainer and sent out a Komala first. I sent out my own Normal-type Pokemon, Ravioli, for that!

Ravioli channeled her double head power with a Double Hit. Feels like cheating when you can hit your foes twice!

Oh no, I think the omelet and the rice balls are getting me. I might be falling in a food coma!

Argh! Komala hit Ravioli with a Sucker Punch when I was still thinking about my meal! That isn't fair!

Komala lives on tree branches, which should make it more susceptible to Earthquake, right?

zzz...zzz...I need a post-meal nap right now.

Hey, how can you sucker punch when Ravioli is asleep? That doesn't make sense!

Hunted down while asleep, a giraffe's worst nightmare.

Well, I sent in Farfalline next to pick things up. One Dazzling Gleam and she put Komala to an eternal slumber (except it already is in one).

Pretty sure Farfalline is more serene and more graceful than this large dirt snake right here.

In fact, Farfalline is so serene she'll just calm her mind.

Ah! Dudunsparce barely has its eyes open, but its glare is too paralyzing for Farfalline to handle!

I still remember Staraptor's intimidating shenanigans. It was so strong it even knocked Campanelle out!

You know, Mr. Larry didn't really feel that confident even though he's the Gym Leader of this town.

And we're battling in a restaurant, too, with all the chefs watching us from the counter.

More people rush in Treasure Eatery to watch us battle!

With so many spectators on the side, I cannot afford to lose this battle. I need to kick things up now!

Mr. Larry had the same idea and Terastallized his Staraptor into a Normal-type!

Though his strategy was to hit Orecchiette with Aerial Ace, which was more than enough for a KO.

Casunziei the Sociable just joined the team, but I already trust him to handle tough foes like this Staraptor!

Huh, but everyone's telling me to be myself ...

It was all a facade! Well, at least that's what Mr. Larry's Staraptor's trying to do.

Oh come on, Casunziei! Now's not the time to be disobedient!

Well, since Casunziei refused to cooperate, he fell to another Facade.

Campanelle, I need you to overcome your past trauma with Staraptor.

Staraptor is still sticking to Facade, and that didn't hurt Campanelle too much.

I know that Staraptor is a fast bird, so using Gyro Ball should be a smart idea.

Campanelle, stay true to yourself! Pay no attention to that bird's facades!

This lady is Ms. Geeta, who works as the chairwoman of the Pokemon League, which means she runs all these Gyms around Paldea.

Ms. Geeta was probably here inspecting the running of these Gyms. She seemed quite confident we'll run into each other again in the future.

Well, I was told that I can take Home Ec classes again, so that's what I'll be doing next!

Pom-poms, Power Points and Peanut Butter Sandwiches

Last time, I defeated Mr. Larry, who is the Gym Leader of Medali and is the only person who can rival my love for food.

I'm heading back to Mesagoza, since there's a new Home Ec class available!

I was doing my regular grocery shopping in Delibird Presents, and I noticed some Pink Nectar! I bet that'll make my sandwiches taste extra sweet!

Let's test those pink nectar out with a quick picnic outside the Mesagoza gate! I can't wait any longer!

Hold on, is there something weird in my team?

Wait, does this wild Oricorio join my picnic because it wants some pink nectar sandwiches too?

Woah, Oricorio chowed down that sweet nectar sandwich and started glowing pink!

Ohmygosh! The Oricorio transformed into the cute pink form after eating the pink nectar! I can't believe it!

Pink Oricorio is Psychic-type, so I'm making her the next addition to the team!

Quadrefiore loves to practice her dance moves. I think its moves are from a faraway region or something.

After hosting a satisfying picnic and catching a new Pokemon, now is the time to get back to business.

That's right. More Home Ec lessons with Mr. Saguaro!

The topic of this lesson is Power Points or PPs. I was honestly hoping Mr. Saguaro would talk more about food, but oh well.

Having HP means the Pokemon has the health to stay in battle, and having PP means it can use moves!

That's why it is important to keep all kinds of moves to save up Power Points in battles.

Pokemon with no PPs left can only use Struggle! I've seen that happen to Nemona's Pawmi once, which is why I know this.

I've heard there're a type of berries that can restore PP as well. Gotta research more on that after this lesson!

And this is why I'll never be good at Pokemon battling. There are just so many things to remember!

This is also the final lesson before our mid-term examination! I need to make sure I get high grades!

Let's go do this before I forget what I've learned!

I've never cared about my grades all that much, but this is the one subject I actually care about.

I've had enough picnic meals to answer this question in two seconds!

I mean, you gotta try out all types of fillings or condiments before you can choose a favorite among them all.

Oran Berries aren't great for cooking, but my Pokemon love'em, so I know what they do.

In fact, some Pokemon eat their Oran Berries in battles, like all the wild Gulpin I've seen!

We just went through this in class; Pokemon can use Struggle when they have no PP left in its moves.

That's it for my mid-term assessment! It's been a fun term so far, and I look forward to the remaining Home Ec lessons.

I immediately went to check my scores at the front desk. I need three out of five to pass the exam!

And I got all of them right! My rewards for doing so well are five small candies! Time for a post-exam dessert party!

I went to the Cafeteria, 'cause I wanted to enjoy a big dinner before I set out. And I ran into Mr. Saguaro there!

As the Home Ec teacher, Mr. Saguaro knows exactly why I shouldn't go out on adventures before having a big meal.

I thought Mr. Saguaro is here to eat, but he's actually busy with his works, surveying the food we can order.

Perhaps he got too hungry after those big talks, he suddenly craved for some Peanut Butter Sandwiches!

Other students noticed Mr. Saguaro (I mean it's hard not to) and started discussing what food he may order.

Well, they got it all wrong. They thought Mr. Saguaro would want a spicy Five-Alarm Sandwich, but he actually wanted to eat sweet stuff.

No, Mr. Saguaro! Didn't you say you want some Peanut Butter Sandwiches? You should treat your stomach well by ordering what it wants!

Luckily, Mr. Saguaro changed back to Peanut Butter Sandwich at the last moment. I'm so glad I saved his dinner!

Mr. Saguaro actually doesn't like eating spicy food. He has sweet teeth, and I think he should just stick to sweet food.

Being a teacher must be rough, if you can't even order the food you want to eat.

I'm glad things turned out well this time. Next time I find some extra sweet treats, I'll share them with Mr. Saguaro!

Perplexing Passage

After all those hassles in Mesagoza, I went back to Medali, since it's time to move to my next destination.

Before that, I made a quick picnic. Not that Ferrazzuoli cares at all, since he fell asleep immediately.

The passage is leaning uphill, and I can see some hikers around.

Mudsdale looks like it can eat tons of food. I hope it doesn't want to eat pork right now.

The weather is getting colder the more I go up, and I can feel some icy winds blowing.

If you want food counters, you should go back to Medali for them. Spirali can't really help you.

Oh, it's one of those white mochi Pokemon! It looks so soft and bubbly!

It's getting really cool here, but luckily, Spirali has Thick Fat to take the cold.

Spirali even landed a critical hit on Cetoddle! I think he's quite good at handling Ice-type Pokemon.

Orecchiette's training finally pays out, as he gets enough power to evolve into Medicham now!

Orecchiette got even stronger now, and he still has his Pure Power going!

Before I forget, I also took a look at Oricorio's Pokedex entry, which explains how it gains psychic energy by sipping pink nectar.

Zapapico sounds like a coffee name, so that'll be where I'm heading off next.

This is Orecchiette's first battle after evolution. Let's see how he performs!

Even against a giant tough raven, Orecchiette fearlessly lands a High Jump Kick. Hi-yah!

I know that Orecchiette is pretty scared of big birds, though, and I'm worried he might not be able to handle it.

There it is. Corviknight preys on Orecchiette's weakness and hits him with Drill Peck.

It was a strong hit, but Orecchiette managed to hang on with just a tiny amount of health! Good job!

Orecchiette lands another High Jump Kick, bringing himself a deserved victory.

With him doing so well against Corviknight, I think he has finally overcome his fear of birds!

Spirali ate too much in the picnic and wanted some Rest next!

But remember, snoring is a sign of unhealthiness, so none of those for Spirali.

Through the Tunnels

Last time, Quadrefiore the pink Oricorio joined the team, and Orecchiette evolved.

This time, I was led into a tunnel at Dalizapa Passage.

Oh, not this three-headed sausage monster again! Last time I got wrecked by one of these things.

Oh, come on, you can't just escape by digging underground. That's cheating!

Why are you shivering? Aren't you an Ice-type Pokemon? You shouldn't feel cold.

And that's the end of the tunnel. It's way shorter than I thought.

Huh, there's a Pokemon Center in the middle of these tunnels. I don't feel safe here.

Argh, I don't like this stone. It's too dark and too shadowy for me.

Zapapico is where I'm heading, right? So, this should be the right direction.

I got ambushed by this Sableye right here. I still don't really like how it looks at my Pokemon!

Well, for Pokemon Farfalle doesn't want to fight, he just teleports his way out!

Farfalline got it, her Dazzling Gleam is brilliant enough to defeat Sableye!

Quadrefiore learned a new type of dance, and I hope her feathery dress won't get broken.

Woah, I've never seen this Pokemon before. It's so tiny I can barely see it!

Well, if it's weak to Psybeam, it's probably a poisonous Pokemon. Remind me not to eat it then.

Well, I guess I'll be going through another tunnel.

Um, am I talking to air? Did I eat one too many funny mushrooms?

It's over, Farfalline. She has the high ground.

Actually, never mind. Gravity is here to save the day, and we're on even grounds now.

Befoe I can even order Farfalline to do anything, Hariyama starts tightening its focus!

Zapapico has no Food

I can finally breathe now. I must say dark caves are not my favorite places to stay in.

I can see some short huts in that forest. Is that a village of some sort?

Goat meat isn't everyone's favorite, since it can be quite gamey, but who am I to say no to these free lunches?

Actually, Farfalline just said no to meat. I guess she's in a mood of chewing some fresh grass.

A bulked up goat always taste better with more texture than a regular one!

On second thought, I'm not eating anything right now, 'cause I know I'll be reaching a town soon.

Spoink, Grumpig, Flittle and Espathra? This place is full of Psychic-type Pokemon!

And what is this nasty bug doing here? Get that thing out of here, Spirali.

Quadrefiore learns some acrobat tricks and wants to show it off.

Ever since I beat Mr. Larry, Casunziei has been quite cooperative, and he has been helping me hunt food.

Oh no, this bull is raging! It's gonna get overheated soon!

Beef won't taste too good if they get overcooked, so cool it down before we start chowing down!

Speaking of chowing down, Ravioli got two mouths to feed and wanted to utilize that in battles.

Axew looks like it will be great at searching food just from its mighty tusks.

Wait, is that a walking chili pepper plant? Gotta harvest'em before anyone else saw it! (Apparently, Arven using this in a tag battle doesn't register its entry. Good to know.)

Excuse me, but chili peppers are never villainous.

Toxtricity looks like it wants to rock on stage and rock me to death.

I guess Casunziei isn't into rock music then. He's more of a pop lover.

Pappardelle, I think you are already pretty light and fast, and there's no need for Agility.

I finally reached Zapapico! I've never seen a town that is so ... uninteresting.

All I see are doors that I can't open. Not sure what I can do with those.

Well, let's not let that stop my food tour. I kicked things off with some spicy Pinchitos!

Well, things can't go wrong with some sweet Strawberry Chocolate Crepe!

There's absolutely nothing else great to eat, so I just end the tour with some Fizzy-Pop Ice Cream.

There aren't too much to do in this town, but someone wants to trade with some Sinistea Chips. Gotta hunt down some teacups then.

Well, the Pokedex says Sinistea can be found in the rocky region right outside Zapapico, so I start searching here.

Oh, I'm sorry, little girl. I didn't see you there.

Never mind, it wasn't a little girl. It was a Pokemon called Gothita that wants to play!

Gothita knows Psyshock! I think I know what that means!

Here we go! Another Pokemon joined the team! Gothita might be small, but it has some strong psychic power!

Stelline the Gothita is a timid one, but she can get competitive sometimes!

Sinister Armor

Last time, I reached Zapapico, which doesn't seem to offer much other than someone asking for Sinistea Chips.

To help them out, I went to the rocky area outside Zapapico to break Sinistea's teacups!

I also picked up a Thunder Stone, which isn't very helpful. It's not like I can evolve Pikachu into a Psychic-type or anything like that.

I collected exactly 10 Sinistea Chips. That should be enough for the trade!

Hey, lady. I brought what you want! Please give me something good!

The old woman gave me a Malicious Armor... Now I don't what to feel about this. It sounds like something really creepy.

I don't what to do with this set of armor, so I just put on a Spoink I caught. I think she looks good on it.

Hey, Spoinky! Tell me how you feel with your malicious armor. I hope you don't suddenly turn evil!

Huh, you got something to tell me?

Hold the phone! When did you change your name to Pear?

And when did your armor turn auspicious? This armor is haunted, and I don't like it!

Well, let's put the Auspicious Armor in my bag then. I guess it'll be my newest lucky charm.

There aren't much to do in Zapapico, but I notice a Team Star base in the forest nearby. That must be where the small huts are at.

Well, I still have my phone hijacked by an anonymous hacker, so I might as well handle this Team Star business.

This rocky terrain is so rugged. I don't like it, because that probably means there won't be any good food here.

A butterflyfish? Don't think I've had one before.

Well, the best way to prepare sashimi is to slice them through with some leaves.

A pufferfish! Even though their bodies are so spiky and poisonous, they can be safe to eat with proper precautions!

Be careful, Farfalle! You don't want its stingers in your throats!

A Fire Stone? You think I should put in a hotpot to make my food extra crispy?

Ugh, I really don't like these sausage monsters. They taste like dirt!

Aw, come on. It disappeared when I walked closer! Might be the biggest disappointment since I found out the Academy doesn't hold eating contests.

I'm not the type of people who calculate calories on every food I eat, but different strokes for different folks, I guess.

This Lycanroc looks angrier than the other one I saw. I don't LYC it!

Poor Pappardelle was shuddering at the sight of Lycanroc. Let's switch her out to someone who's braver.

The moon isn't even out. Why is this wolf howling?

Farfalle's amazing swordswork made Lycanroc cry like a little puppy. Good job!

A Scyther? I don't like big bugs, especially not the green ones with big blades on their backs.

I know it's daytime, but Farfalle please Night Slash that thing while I'm finding my bug repellant.

I'm relieved to see that Farfalle got sharper blades than that damn Scyther!

I can't be mistaken. These giant colorful flags are clearly Team Star's work.

I saw someone wandering alone in the forest, and it was ... oh what's his name ... Clive! That's right.

I still don't really know too much about this Clive guy, and I wonder why he wants to join Operation Starfall. Doesn't he know this operation is really sketchy?

It's pretty odd for a fellow student like Clive to be that concerned about Team Star members' behaviors, don't you think?

I do remember hearing some bad things about Team Star, though. Some people even call them delinquents!

Wait, Clive was there when Cassiopeia called me? I don't recall seeing him, though. I only remember Director Clavell walking in.

Speak of the devil! Cassiopeia just called me! She's probably going to ask me to tackle this Team Star base.

Cassiopeia overheard me talking with Clive! I knew my phones are secretly listening to my conversations!

This place is filled with weird mushrooms! Today's dinner will be mushroom rigatoni then!

Sorry! It was actually a Pokemon called Oranguru! It looks like a smart one, too!

Wait, it uses Stored Power? Sounds like a Psychic-type Pokemon to me!

I decided to catch Oranguru, and it really is a Psychic-type Pokemon! I'm surprised to see one in a dark forest like this!

Mandala the Oranguru is a smart cookie, and he uses Telepathy to communicate!

It was a pleasure to meet you, too, Mandala!

Mandala isn't the only primate living here, as I ran into some small lemurs afterwards.

I don't like how Grafaiai licks its fingers. Like, don't you have something better to eat?

Well, Farfalle gave Grafaiai a good ol' chop and sent it back to its tree. Goodbye.

Speaking of trees, I notice that the trees here come in different colors and different shapes.

Zorua? That's not what a Zorua look like.

Oh, it was actually a disguised Zorua! Gawddangit I fell for it again.

I guess it's a great time to test out Cappelletti's Dazzling Gleam.

Why are there so many tiny monkeys here? I got attacked by a Pokemon called Impidimp!

'Cause Quadrefiore is peacing out. She's passing the baton to her teammates!

Cappelletti might not be a fairy, but her Dazzling Gleam is still quite effective!

Quadrefiore isn't the only dancing pink bird around though, since there are some weird flamingos living here as well.

Creepy Crawlies

Tagtree Thicket is larger than I expected, and I'm a little lost as well.

Well, that is actually what I'm searching for as well. So ...

Oh, it just starts raining. It's gonna make all the bugs in the forest crawl their way out!

Farfalle attac, but Pelipper protec.

Most importantly, when Farfalle gets to chop Pelipper with Leaf Blade, he won't hold bac.

Tears are every Gothita's biggest weapon, and Stelline is all for it.

Another Pokemon with sharp edges who want to have a swordfight with Farfalle.

Farfalle's a knight, and that beats out a little pawn like you.

Ugh! Are there vampires here in this forest drinking blood? Maybe I shouldn't be exploring this place at night.

Eek! ... Oh I thought I really ran into a vampire. It was actually a Pikachu.

Oh wait, it was not a Pikachu. It was actually a suspiciously similar Pokemon called Mimikyu!

Awww, it's like a baby doll. Who would want to hurt a Pokemon like this?

And now Mimikyu's using Farfalle's swords against himself. This place is truly haunted!

Its Baby-Doll Eyes is just an act! Don't fall for its tricks!

And now it is sharpening its claws. Great, it has claws. I don't even want to know what they look like.

Mandala, I know you're new to team, but I trust that you can handle this creepy ghost.

Mimikyu even starts creating body doubles for itself. This is getting out of control.

Mandala's smart strategy is to Psych Up with Mimikyu!

Which gives Mandala all the stat boosts Mimikyu has! Now Mandala is the one with his claws honed!

Mandala then uses all those stat boosts against Mimikyu by landing a Stored Power hit!

Mimikyu can't hit Mandala, 'cause he's evasive now!

Crisis averted. Mimikyu defeated. I'm not playing with baby dolls anymore.

I found a Leaf Stone and a TM for Grass Knot. This seems like a perfect place for Grass-type lovers!

Wait, is there an Avalanche incoming? I should run away before I get trapped here.

The reason why I don't like exploring at night is because giant moths start flying around.

Luckily, I have Quadrefiore with me, who can cut through air and slice Venomoth into half.

One of the things I don't like about giant moths is their loud buzzing noises!

Thank you, Quadrefiore. That critical hit couldn't come in a better time.

Finally, after all these walking, I found something to eat.

Wait, I can't eat this? What kind of bs is this? Well, I bet it tastes really sour.

This forest really is filled with monkeys. Sorry, but I already got Mandala with me!

I was going to end this forest trip with a picnic, except I can't find my picnic table anywhere.

It's not easy to put ingredients on the buns without a table, but I can try my best ...?

I guess I found out my newest talent, making sandwiches blindly.

It may not look like the case, but I made a three-starred Pickle Sandwich! I told you this place is haunted.

Well, that was fun. But I don't think I've finished exploring this forest. Let's see what else we get here!

Fire It Up

Last time I started exploring the Tagtree Thicket and caught Mandala the Oranguru.

This time I'll see what I missed last time and hope that I won't get interrup ...

Oh come on, little Charcadet! Now's not the time to play! I was talking!

The little Charcadet jumped on me! What does he want?

Huh, you are interested in the Auspicious Armor? I guess I can give that to you. I don't really know what to do with it.

Whoa! Charcadet turned into a completely different Pokemon after wearing the Auspicious Armor. It just grew ... so much taller!

Charcadet evolved into Armarouge, which is Fire Warrior that is fortified by psychic energy! I think I've found another new team member!

Cavatelli the Armarouge will now be travelling with us! He's a brave soldier, so I think he will get along well with Farfalle.

Evolving takes so much energy. I think I should treat Cavatelli to some nice pork chops.

Well, he'll have to earn it! Let's try out Cavatelli in a battle against this wild Oinkologne!

Cavatelli knows Psyshock, and I know exactly how powerful that move is!

Oinkologne tried to take down Cavatelli, but his armor suit is just so sturdy!

Cavatelli is so intimidating Oinkologne has to run away and dig to the ground.

Ouch! Cavatelli doesn't like getting hit from the ground below! Please don't do that!

Well, dinner's ready, and Cavatelli will be our chef today.

Sorry, I already got Cavatelli, and I think I don't need another Fire-type Pokemon.

No way! Cappelletti was the vampire all along! Wait for me while I grab my garlics!

After searching for a while, I found the gate to the Team Star base.

But I'm not going there yet. I want to see what else is hidden in this forest.

What Is Wrong With This Fish?

(I've never seen wild fish Pokemon on land before LOL)

(Are fish Pokemon programmed to route back to where they are supposed to be at if they ever get on land? Fascinating.)

Strong Emotions

I was looking at some bass and deciding what we'll have for dinner.

Until I got sneaked up on by this Grafaiai! That's rude! You don't interrupt people when they're thinking about food!

And Grafaiai even poisoned Cappelletti! That's even more rude!

Oh, never mind. I didn't expect you to say that. Stelline probably has never heard of such a great compliment either.

Another one? Oh, you're just so nice. I'm flattered.

Ouch. Except when you slice Stelline with Slash. She's just a little girl.

Speaking of little, I'm glad Pappardelle managed to clean things up.

Setting a fire in a dark forest might not be a wise idea, but I've gotta do what I need to do.

Dang. Even Cavatelli's sturdy body doesn't like taking Acrobatics that much.

Umbreon's next! That looks like a darker emo version of Casunziei.

Without moonlight, Umbreon couldn't really do anything. It's like how Casunziei only likes running around in daytime.

Finally! Cappelletti evolved and ... grew more hair ...?

Hattrem is always looking for people with strong emotions! I guess I need to control my temper now if I don't want to get pummeled by braids.

Brutal Swing? Cappelletti, that's not a nice thing to do! Wait, don't hit me with that. Stop!

I'm convinced this guy is actually Director Clavell in disguise, but I doubt a serious man like him would disguise as a student.

How About Them Apples

Last time, Cappelletti evolved into Hattrem and became more violent with her braids.

There is another exit to Tagtree Thicket, and it is equally rocky.

I don't know, but I'll be using Cappelletti for her first battle as Hattrem.

What? Is that a dragon wearing an apple as a helmet? I didn't know that's a Pokemon. Dangit!

That's what you get for trying to use Protect for a second time!

Cappelletti flashes her Dazzling Gleam and deals super effective against Appletun. It would've done more if she's a Fairy-type, but oh well.

Another Dazzling Gleam and Appletun's down. Maybe we'll have an apple feast next time.

What's the matter, Cappelletti? If you want to brew something for your witchcraft, you need to wait until it grows into a frog first.

Don't mind me and my motorcycle getting stuck in a weird position.

While I was rummaging this landfill, I got called by Arven telling me that the Lurking Steel Titan is lurking among these steels.

The Lurking Steel Titan sounds like some scary monsters. Maybe I'll look for it after I'm done with the Team Star base.

Power Gem Sounds like some kinds of candies. Who wants candies now?

Spirali has already been treated with some Power Gems, so I guess it's Casunziei's turn now.

Casunziei forgot Swift and learned Power Gem. Gotta go slow now, I guess.

Ok, Rolycoly is absolutely a rock candy. I'm not imagining things up.

Even the tiny Stelline can fight a large Hariyama with her psychic power!

Except Hariyama knows Knock Off! Poor Stelline almost got her eyelashes knocked off by that.

Quadrefiore has been practicing her airborne dance a lot, and now she needs a little roost.

Stelline gets competitive when she sees big opponents use Scary Face!

Pappardelle wants to learn Uproar. It's fine, but I also have a bad feeling about this ...

There's nothing much left to do. I guess it's time to get to the base now.

Well, it seems like a kid is already making a fuss at the Team Star base already.

Maybe I don't need to do anything to clear this squad, but I'll have to take a closer look.

Wait, this little kid knows me? And he doesn't seem very friendly when he saw me!

Oh crap. Everyone in Team Star knows me as the person who challenged them even though Cassiopeia was the one who did it!

I thought the little kid is on our side, but I'm wrong! He actually wants to beat me down instead!

Well, I can forgive you, considering you use Gulpin the stomach Pokemon.

Goodbye, green stomach. Cavatelli's Psyshock is too spicy for you to digest.

Shroodle's up next. There are quite a few Poison-type Pokemon here I notice.

Speaking of poison, Cavatelli just got jabbed by some of those. Let's hope his armor won't break from that.

Well, Shroodle's down, and the kid has been defeated. Now, hit me with the real deal.

Clive appeared out of nowhere! He asked me to work on the base while he talks to the boy. Who does he think he is? A teacher or something?

And of course, Cassiopeia rang my phone right after I defeated the kid. I'm sure she's stalking me.

Well, I was informed the crew here uses poisons to fight, and that I'll just have to fight as many Pokemon as possible. So, good luck, myself.

I actually am not too worried about the Poison crew, since my Pokemon eat enough fruits to fight the poison.

I charged up Cavatelli's firepower by giving him Heat Wave and Clear Smog. This'll be his big fight!

Stelline will be a support for the team with her manipulative tears and foul plays.

Let's do it. I have to get my phone back by disbanding Team Star.

Just like last time, I have to beat 30 Pokemon using three Pokemon, and this time I have Stelline, Orecchiette and Cavatelli do the job.

I'm not really in a rush though, so I took my sweet time to grab some drinks at their vending machine.

It actually didn't really take that long until my Pokemon come back defeating 30 Pokemon! Good job, guys!

The Poison Crew's boss, Atticus showed up after I defeated so many of his grunts.

I really don't like how he threatens to splash me with my poison. I mean, I'll gladly take a plunge into some soda pop instead.

I doth not und'rstand what that gent is talking about. Alloweth's just battleth!

Stelline is in the lead this time, and she's tasked to handle Skuntank.

Skuntank is a sly skunk trying to pull a Sucker Punch on Stelline, but she's not fazed!

'Cause Stelline is just going to put on a Reflect screen to protect the team!

Stelline won't be able to do much against Skuntank, so I just switch her out to Orecchiette.

Argh! Didn't I say I don't like getting dipped in poison? This is not good for Orecchiette's digestive system!

Well, that bad poison wasn't enough to stop Orecchiette from pulling off a powerful High Jump Kick

Ew! First a stinky skunk. And now a pile of sludge? Can you get more creative than that?

If this is a battle of who gets the better cheese, then Atticus would win 'cause he got some stinky ones.

But this isn't, and Orecchiette just knocks out his second Pokemon. Good job!

Species Clause

Atticus sent out a Revavroom, which is much smaller than what I remembered.

Well, Orecchiette isn't scared of big cars, let alone small cars. He hit Revavroom with a flaming Fire Punch!

Fire Punch is super effective and manages to burn Revavroom! That car is getting overheated!

Revavroom tries to take revenge with an Iron Head, but Orecchiette eats that hit like a breakfast.

Our Reflect screen is gone though, and I must stay careful.

Another Fire Punch and Revavroom officially breaks down.

Atticus sent out ... what now? Didn't your Revavroom just die?

And I'll make your face look like a bitter melon after this battle!

WHAT? He has another Revavroom, and this one is a much bigger vehicle? How is this not cheating?

Orecchiette just knocks out your other Revavroom, and now you want him to do it again?

Well, this Revavroom is much more noxious than the other one. It just crushed every single one of Orecchiette's spine.

Well, Orecchiette, you can take a rest first. I'll buy you some A-tier Foie gras after we're done with this.

Cavatelli, you're up next. Let's roll that thing over with some Rotisserie.

Well, Revavroom seems to be using the same strategy as it crushes Cavatelli with its Noxious Torque.

Cavatelli bombs the Starmobile with some Psyshock! It is shockingly effective!

Revavroom went for Noxious Torque, and this time Cavatelli got poisoned as well. Don't you just hate it when you get poisoned after getting run over by a car?

Cavatelli hit the Starmobile with another Psyshock. He's makinig slow but steady progress!

Cavatelli was worn down a little bit by his poison, and then he recovered some of his health from eating a Wiki Berry! Gotta think smart!

Cavatelli's love for berries saved him right there, as it managed to take another Noxious Torque.

(And guess what? I use the same move again.)

(And guess what? He uses the same move for like the fifth time in a row, too.)

Cavatelli tried his best but still fell to the mighty Revavroom's Noxious Torque! He deserves some white truffles after this.

Ok, I think Atticus is having too much fun with his poisonous car. Let's send Campanelle out and end things right here right now.

Atticus thought he has a smart idea using Flame Charge on Campy, but Campy has a heatproof body!

Revavroom uses some of the firepower to raise its speed, but Campy does not give a fuck.

All Campy needs to do now is to use its extrasensory power and wreck Revavroom's mind!

The big car breaks down, and I'm the survivor of this car crash.

I don't understand a thing Atticus was saying, but I'll gladly take a Star Badge to prove my victory.

Something something filthy gunk something something strong technique something something.

(You might think this is a bit, but it is not. I legit don't understand a crap Atticus is saying and don't know what captions to write for him, so I just skipped his dialogues.)

The little kid came back with Clive, and he seemed really concerned about Atticus getting expelled from the school!

To be honest, Atticus may be a filthy skunk, but he definitely doesn't feel like a bully. Maybe the rumors about him aren't quite true.

Right after I left Atticus behind, Cassiopeia called me to check my progress. Luckily, I already got the Star Badge with me.

As per promised, I got some League Points and TM recipes from beating another Team Star crew. Still wish I can get real recipes though.

That Penny girl from the supply unit shows up again. Poor girl is probably getting manipulated by Cassiopeia as well.

Miraidon has been watching too many things on the Internet and I don't even know want to describe what it is doing to Penny.

The main point I want to express is, I actually don't know what this Pokemon is. A Professor whom I've never met asked me to keep it.

Penny's job is actually here to deliver Pokemon materials, which are strictly inferior to sandwich ingredients.

Team Star people are certainly some strong trainers. I mean, what do you expect from someone who uses large vehicle parts in battles?

Penny seems to also think Team Star is innocent, just like the little kid who defended Atticus.

Wait, did you say hacking? Sorry, I got really sensitive since my phone is still getting hijacked by some unknown person.

Now that that is out of the way. Let's see if I can find the Lurking Steel Titan from Arven!

And that's why I put berries on my Pokemon! You never know when they come in handy!

Pappardelle learned Lumina Crash. I think she's getting more violent after evolving.

Oh, Dreepy is actually a Pokemon. Well, it creeps me out so I'm glad Stelline knocked it out in one hit.

There are some wild Rufflet in this area, too. I swear these things live everywhere.

Orthworm is the Lurking Steel Titan! Not what I was expecting it to look like, but Cavatelli should be fine either way!

In fact, Cavatelli almost knocked Orthworm in one Heat Wave! He's doing so hot!

Just like every Titan I've seen so far, Orthworm ran away mid-way through.

Orthworm sure like digging tunnels. At least this time I can just trace it down by walking through its path.

Orthworm ran to the other side of the mountain, and I'm here to chase it down.

Yet again, Orthworm digs through the ground a few times before letting me catch it.

Orthworm crawled to a hidden cave and began eating something from the cave. It must be the Herba Mystica we're looking for!

Arven showed up while Orthworm was having its meal. I think I can handle this worm myself, but I'll take any help I can get.

Orthworm might be getting powerful after eating the herbs, so I should be careful as well.

Arven has a Toedscool! I hope we're having wood jellyfish in our potluck party~

Cavatelli is too hot for Orthworm to handle, since Heat Wave is enough to knock it down!

"If I was a worm, will you still eat me?" The answer is always yes.

Good job, Cavatelli. You singlehandedly defeated a Titan.

I was honestly expecting something scarier than that worm, but I'll take whatever I get.

Time for the main show. We need to grab some of those Herba Mystica that Orthworm has hopefully left behind.

Salty Rocks

There we go! We found the Salty Herba Mystica in the secret cave!

Well, salty food may not seem good for elderly and people with high blood pressure, but they can be good for your muscle weaknesses!

I can a Titan Badge for defeating Orthworm, but more importantly, a Mystica sandwich to go with it.

Of course, the moment I mention sandwich, Miraidon pops out of its Poke Ball and look at my food like a monster.

I think it's about time Miraidon learns the importance of personal boundaries, like this sandwich I get right here.

Some people just never understand boundaries. Sigh.

I'm only sharing my sandwich with Miraidon because Arven has an extra serving prepared for me.

I think the more important thing here is that Mabosstiff deserves the biggest sandwich in the world.

Mabosstiff now has a proper appetite! That's a sign of him getting healthy!

Miraidon gobbles down my sandwich and starts twitching its body yet again.

Arven thinks Miraidon is also recovering its strength, but he thinks that Miraidon is still not in its full form.

Miraidon doesn't have any physical injuries, but there seems to be something wrong still.

Arven deduces Miraidon might have a trauma with battling. He sure knows a lot about taking care of Pokemon than I do.

The Herba Mystica seem to be some miracle remedies, so these Pokemon should make recovery soon enough, I hope.

Well, it seems like Mabosstiff's situation actually didn't change much from eating the Salty Herba Mystica. That's disappointing.

I'm sure Arven is devastated, too, but he's trying his best to not show it in front of Mabosstiff.

Well, we still have one more herb to hunt, so let's hope for the best for our final run.

It felt like yesterday when I accepted Arven's quest, and we're already on our final stop. This is giving me feelings.

Professor Turo told me Miraidon is now capable of jumping higher. Not the biggest superpower, but it should still come in handy.

I actually don't see any Titan Pokemon sighting around this area, so I guess I'll take a stop at the nearest city instead.

Miraidon can now jump so high it can just reach another level by jumping.

And now I start to see more tiny Orthworm in the wild, too.

Time for Cavatelli to enjoy some barbecued sausages with extra salt.

Ugh, why is it suddenly snowing? It got so cold and I'm not ready for it.

Levincia City Tour

Last time, Arven and I grabbed our fourth Herba Mystica. I decided to go to Levincia next.

Levincia is a big city, which means there are tons of delicious treats here!

What feels better than going shopping with a Fizzy-Pop Ice Cream in your hands?

I totally agree! Sometimes when I can't decide which one to eat, I just grab them all!

I then had a Flower Set of Four-Piece Sushi. Who knows those things are so spicy?

Klawf al Ajillo is also a classic dish around here, but they didn't use titanic Klawf sticks for this, so it's meh.

Let's pop a cool Lemonade before I go on.

Trick Room creating a bizarre area sounds perfect for my bizarre Pokemon. I'll give that some thoughts.

There are so many new ingredients available in the Aquiesta Supermarket! This is what I save up my money for.

There's a Gym in Levincia, and I guess that'll be where I head next.

I was greeted by Mr. Hassel the moment I walked into the Levincia Gym.

Mr. Hassel was accompanied by a young lady, who clearly heard some false rumors about my battling skills.

The young lady is called Rika, and she's quite direct with her words.

Misss Rika is also a member of the Elite Four. That probably means she's super strong, like Nemona-tier kind of strong.

Miss Rika and Mr. Hassel still have the wrong impression that I'm good at Pokemon battles. How should I tell them?

They warned me about the increasing difficulty of these Gym challenges. Apparently, I'm already making further progress than most trainers.

For whatever reasons, they are confident I'll be hitting the Champion Assessment, even though I'm only stopping by these Gyms for other purposes.

Well, if I'm already here, I might as well take on the Gym Test first.

Wait, are you talking about the Iono? Like the girl who has tons of followers on JoltikTok?

I don't subscribe to Iono's streams, but I've watched once or twice. She likes doing collabs with other people.

Does that mean I'll have to help her out by doing collabs with her? I'unno if I can do it!

The moment I stepped out the Gym, I could already hear Iono!

I'm not sure what to do in a stream, and I hope I won't get beaten up by Iono's fans after today.

Everything I do right now is getting broadcasted to the whole world! I need to be careful.

I don't get to see Iono physically, so this is more like a remote collab.

Finding Director Clavell isn't too difficult, so first step done!

After that, I had a Pokemon battle with an Iono fan, which went really smooth for me.

Hey, before we start the next round, can I buy some churros here first?

Director Clavell can't fool me by standing in the Pokemon center! I mean, he isn't even dressing in red.

Another Iono fan incoming. I'm ready for this one as well!

Tynamo looks like a noodlefish, and Cavatelli is ready to fry that thing up.

Wool is also highly flammable, so taking care of Flaaffy wasn't too tough for Cavatelli.

Final round of Hide-and-seek! Of course, I got it done easily.

Iono is satisfied with the results, and I passed the Gym Test! Next time, maybe we should do a mukbang collab instead.

Streamed Rice

I don't have anything else to do, so I just directly challenge Iono afterwards.

This time, I got to see Iono irl instead! She looks exactly the same as she does on stream.

There are also many Iono fans cheering her. This is gonna be tough for me to beat her in front of a group audience.

Doing the collab with Iono virtually was fine, but doing it irl is quite stressful.

I'm not sure if I can make great content like Iono does. And I need to worry about Pokemon battles, too.

We just started, and Iono already received 5000 bucks as tips. Maybe I should get into video streaming.

It's too late to turn around now. I don't want the whole Iono Squad think I'm a quitter, so let's do it!

I'm sending out Stelline for this fight. I think she would enjoy the attention she gets from the stream.

Stelline bombards Wattrel with Psyshock, which is enough to knock it out in one hit.

Iono sent out Luxio next, but see an intimidating opponent only makes Stelline get more competitive!

Stelline is putting in even more effort now, and she knocks out Luxio in one hit, too!

Bellibolt's up next and ends up being Stelline's next meal only.

Iono's down to her final Pokemon, and she's asking for her fans to cheer her up, probably with some superchats.

Iono knows how to put on a show! She Terastallizes her Mismagius and puts a light bulb on its head!

That giant light bulb is so bright it confuses Stelline.

Stelline hits through her confusion and lands another Psyshock on Mismagius.

With Mismagius gone as well, Iono is defeated! All by Stelline, too.

"Did I just get SWEPT by THIS Pokemon? More about the Competitive Ability" will be the title of Iono's next video.

Iono seems to be really satisfied with the stream again. She even gifted me a Volt Switch Tm as thanks.

Of course Nemona is around after I'm done with the Gym battle. She probably watched the stream as well.

Nemona just reminded me, I'm four badges in, which is half of what needed for the Champion Assessment.

Oh, please don't, Nemona. I was already overwhelmed by Iono's streams.

Thank God. Nemona is actually not ready for battling this time. What a plot twist.

I just want Nemona to know that I don't feel offended in the slightest. In fact, I hope this happens every time I go to a Gym.

There doesn't seem to be any more Gyms around, but there is another Team Star base around. Maybe I'll check that out.

Today marks the first anniversary of the Grass-type thread! Thank you everyone for your support. I hope you've been enjoying these journeys. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are my favourite mainline Pokemon games thus far, and I really think Monotype runs are great ways to make playing through these games interesting. Orange Islands is also a great place for me to express myself and has contributed a lot to my love of writing and storytelling. The Grass-type run was a great playthrough for testing the waters, and I'm trying out different things this time around. Who knows what the future holds for us? I promise I won't be leaving this place anytime soon, and I already have plans for what to do next. I hope you will enjoy my content, and I'll see you next time. Royal Food

Last time, I joined Iono, the celebrity streamer, for a collab, and I defeated her in a Gym Battle.

There is a beautiful beach nearby, so I decided to take Conchiglie out for a run, since he loves playing in beaches.

Well, he loves the sand and the water, so we also went for a quick swim in the sea.

The worst thing about swimming is that you might run into scary Pokemon! Luckily, Conchiglie is not scared! Or he's just too slow to react.

There's no escape now, since Conchiglie was caught in a Whirlpool casted by Gyrarados.

Maybe I should let Conchiglie battle more in water, since he's having troubles with his moves. Is water getting into his eyes?

Conchiglie is a Water-type Pokemon, but he still gets hurt by Whirlpool. That doesn't make sense!

Finally! Conchiglie can aim better and slam Gyarados with his Zen Headbutt! Who's the scary one now?

Another Zen Headbutt and Gyarados is gone! I think Conchiglie has now conquered this stream of water.

What's the matter, Conchiglie? Did you find something where the Gyarados was at?

A King's Rock? I guess it makes sense, since Gyarados is like the king of the sea.

Well, Conchiglie is the one who found and earned the King's Rock. Naturally, it belongs to him now.

I checked the Pokedex, and it says Conchiglie is now a Slowking, which is a much smarter Pokemon and wears a seashell as a crown.

Let's celebrate with a picnic on the beach! I mean, my other Pokemon needs to see Conchiglie's wonderful transformation, too!

Not that Ferrazzuoli gives a fuck. He has never given any fucks about others. Come on, I think you'll get along well with Conchiglie now that he's grown up.

Let's delve into the sweetness of a Dessert Sandwich. Even after evolving, Conchiglie still happily eats everything, just like I do!

Fairy Locked

Of course, I need to test out Conchiglie's newfound strength as a Slowking. I'm not sure if Deerling is under his lead though.

Case in point, I don't think any peasants are allowed to fire Bullet Seed at their king!

Conchiglie can actually predict the future now. He really is so much smarter!

Hey, Conchiglie, when will I get married? Wait, why are you shaking your head?

Slowking is still a relaxed species of Pokemon though, and Conchiglie sometimes just dozes off in battle.

Why bother seeing the future when you can just create a splash of water to knock out your opponents?

Oh, you have a Stantler? I have one of those too, not that I've ever used him in battle.

Ouch! Who would've thought Stantler hit so hard with its giant antlers?

Conchiglie just knocked out Stantler with a Surf. I mean, what else do you expect him to do in a beach?

(Same, bro. Same.)

I caught Corallini last time, but I haven't tried her out yet. Let's see what she can do against a keychain!

Corallini is certainly a good swimmer, being able to jet through even outside of water.

Klefki tried to torment Corallini, but she's too dazzling for that!

I know Corallini is pretty, but you can't just lock her up with a chain like that.

Corallini showed us her Psyshock power, which is unfortunately not too effective against Klefki, but it works.

Look at Corallini's face! She's pissed, and that's why she landed a critical hit! That's why you don't torment or lock her up.

Corallini is a fast swimmer, and she swiftly takes Klefki out with another Aqua Jet.

Her Aqua Jet can take out sand crocodiles too. Good job, Corallini. I'll get some salmon sashimi for you after this fight.

I can see some giant red flags over there. Think I might've found another Team Star crew.

The Cheddar Squad

Last time, I was playing with Conchiglie on the beach and he evolved into Slowking!

I also saw some big flags signaling a Team Star base nearby. I also saw Clive not soon after. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Clive's reasoning behind why he joined Operation Starfall is so weird. Like, why should he care if Team Star is going to school.

At least I know Clive truly wants Team Star to disband, and that makes him a trustworthy ally to this operation.

Clive is sometimes really formal for some reasons, like he's some sort of authority.

Some massive red flags right here. This place is big trouble.

There is always someone guarding a Team Star base, and this place is no exception. Naturally, I have to battle the guard before I get to raid the base.

Corallini and Houndour are sent out for a biting battle! Who got the sharpest fangs?

You know what they say, "the early bird catches the worm." Except Corallini isn't a bird, and Houndour isn't the worm, but ... you get the idea.

Well, you don't need to call me "that kid who declared war on Team Star", 'cause I didn't even actually do that.

I don't think your Houndour is a very good guard dog. Remember to buy him some treats, though. He deserves them.

Clive left for two minutes and is back for more trouble. At least he confirms that this is a Fire crew using Fire-type Pokemon.

A Charcadet just ran towards us, and it seems Clive knows this particular Charcadet.

This Charcadet is called Charlos! That's a cute nickname, but also not as good as Cavatelli, you know.

Charlos went into the Team Star base. Is he trying to help us raid the Fire crew? So nice!

Cassiopeia finally called me. I need to report to them about my progress of the raid!

The what squad now? Did you mean to say Cheddar? Like the cheese? I would be able to offer more assistance if that's the case.

From Cassiopeia's exclusive information, the boss of the Cheddar Squad is a hot-headed and powerful trainer. I must say, they sure know a lot about Team Star bosses.

Fields and terrains are keys to success in Pokemon battles. Let's power up the terrain with some ESP for my Pyschic-type Pokemon!

The first part of the raid is always the same, battle 30 Pokemon in 10 minutes with only 3 Pokemon. Now that's what you call bullying.

This time around, I decided to let Corallini, Conchiglie and Cavatelli battle! Time to put out the fire!

The job's done in 90 seconds! That's roughly the same amount of time I need to gobble up a jumbo-sized bacon cheeseburger.

Set Fire to the Rain

After beating 30 Pokemon in the Fire Crew, I was challenged by the boss of the squad, Mela, who rode on her blazing car.

Mela is definitely not a patient one. We jumped right into the battle without saying much beforehand.

Mela sent out a Torkoal, which is so hot the temperature here raised by like 10 degrees.

Corallini doesn't like the heat, since her Aqua Jet is now not as effective even though it should've been strong on Torkoal.

If Mela's a type of food, she would definitely be a chili pepper, and she's probably fuming under the harsh sunlight.

Well, Corallini couldn't care any less about Mela's anger. She didn't take too much damage even though that Flame Wheel was extra hot.

I don't want Corallini to turn into steamed triggerfish, so I sent out Conchiglie instead, who at least has a cap for the strong sunlight.

And Conchiglie also doesn't care much about Flame Wheels. He prefers his food cool.

Conchiglie used Nasty Plot to boost his Special Attack! I just hope he's not thinking the same thing Lotty is thinking about.

If it's so sunny here, maybe you should consider a surf on the beach?

And for some reasons, it is now sunny and rainy at the same time. It's like drinking cold water after eating some hot curry. A mixture of flavors.

Mela's Starmobile is the next one to fight! You really shouldn't drive when it's raining though.

I'm not sure if the rain is helping or not, but Conchiglie gives Revavroom a good old car wash.

Sir, this woman is speeding her oversized car on the highway. Please arrest her.

And now that car is getting overheated! It crashed with a Blazing Torque.

Another Surf and the Starmobile broke down. I told you not to drive in bad weathers!

I can really enjoy some hot wings after this fight.

Don't worry, Conchiglie! You're invited as well!

Corallini certainly hellped putting out Mela's fire, but shouldn't you give more credits to Conchiglie?

I got Mela's Star Badge and a broken right arm.

Mela also gave me a TM for Flame Charge. I think that might be helpful for our barbecue party.

I almost forgot! Charlos is here, and he wants to talk to Mela.

It seems like Charlos is close to Mela. I guess that would make sense since they are both flaming.

I decided to leave some private time for Mela and Charlos. Right after I leave the base, Cassiopeia called me to confirm my victory.

Time flies. I've already beaten three Team Star bases. That's more than halfway through getting back my phone.

Never mind, the squad bosses aren't the important ones. Cassiopeia actually wants me to find the secret big boss behind them.

Well, I don't even know who this big boss is! It's not like the boss will just call me on my phone and challenge me to a battle.

I'll worry about the big boss later. Right now, I just want to get my League Points and TM recipes.

Penny's back again, and Miraidon yet again decides to do questionable things to her.

It seems like everyone wants Team Star gone. Penny's saying something about her treasure, but she didn't quite elaborate.

After Penny delivered the Pokemon materials, she reminded me not to lose to Team Star. She must've been bullied really badly by those people.

The remaining two Team Star bases seem to locate on the north part of the region, which is actually quite far away.

If I want to travel to the north, I should go back to Dalizapa Passage first and continue my trip over there.

Getting Cold

Last time, I defeated the third Team Star Squad, the Cheddar Squad. My Water-type Pokemon are doing so well!

I flew back to Dalizapa Passage, which is getting even colder than I remember. I have a feeling it's going to be worse the more northwards I go.

That's why I bring Cavatelli with me! I'm sure his existence will be enough to warm me up.

This time I went further deep the tunnels, as I saw that there are a few trainers here waiting to fight.

Oh, you have a Gothorita, too! That's so cute. Too bad I didn't bring Stelline with me.

I'm sure you are freezing. How about some Heat Wave for warm up?

Fake Tears? They're gonna mess up your eyelashes, darling.

"This Pokémon will hypnotize children to put them to sleep before carrying them away. Be wary of nights when the starlight is bright." Maybe it's better if we just burn Gothorita up.

Um ... Arven ... Is our Herba Mystica Quest too late now?

Oh. It's a totally different Pokemon called Houndstone. This is just so depressing to see.

Let's just remove Houndstone with fire. I don't need to see dead doggos walking around.

There are actually not too much to see in the tunnel. So maybe I'll just leave.

If I recall correctly, this is the way back to Treasure Eatery, and that's the path I'm willing to take.

Corallini's appetite is getting larger, and a bite is not going to enough at this point.

I'm bringing Ferrazzuoli for this hike, but I can't use him in battle, so he'll be staying at the back.

Quadrefiore will be taking the lead, and it's time for her to fly around.

Oh, I forgot. Quadrefiore actually doesn't like cold weather. Apparently, she comes from a place that is usually humid and hot.

Especially when Quadrefiore missed her Air Cutter! I guess the north wind is messing her up.

Hey, why did your iceberg have a mouth and why is it trying to bite Quadrefiore?

Good job, Quadrefiore. I think it's now time for some sweet sherbet.

Let's grab some bananas to go with that sherbet. I'm sure Torpius won't mind sharing with us.

Cotton candy bird starts singing, and Conchiglie fell asleep. He's getting a little too lazy now.

Even Conchiglie's shell fell asleep. Does that mean the shell is the one eating the pink body?

Excuse me, cotton candy should be used as food and not as guard. I also don't like how you are dragging this battle for even longer!

Conchiglie finally woke up, and he decided to look into the future. All he sees is us having a feast for dinner tonight.

Imagine your breath is so stinky that your opponent is paralyzed. You can really use some chewing gums right now.

Conchiglie is scheming yet again, and he is getting more powerful. That's what royalty does to you, I guess.

Finally, Altaria is gone. I guess its future wasn't looking too bright.

I appreciate you bringing mutton to the table, but throwing giant Seed Bombs at Conchiglie's face is not very nice.

Let's look into Gogoat's future as well. Will he end up as someone's dinner or will he be caught by some Grass-type fanatics?

Conchiglie was so weak even one tiny seed would kill him, so I didn't expect him to be able to take another Seed Bomb.

Rotelle is up next, and all Gogoat does is bulking itself up. Is it making fun of Rotelle's lack of muscles?

Conchiglie's death wish of dooming Gogoat's future came true! And Rotelle's here to watch.

Oh, you have a giant water turtle. I feel like it would be great friends with Conchiglie, aw.

Even after Rotelle evolved into Rabsca, he still likes playing with mud. Some people never grow.

Mud Shot slowed Drednaw down, and Rotelle is then able to move faster than it! Let's hit it with an Extrasensory.

Extrasensory messed Drednaw's brain so badly that it flinched and couldn't move.

Another Extrasensory and Drednaw's done. Too bad I don't eat turtle meat.

I like biting food, but not when my teeth are getting electrified, so maybe not.

Two ways to go, but I still remember Casseroya Lake being pain. Let's take the mountain path instead.

Ask and you shall receive. I do like talking to hikers, since they sometimes share their food with me.

Conchiglie versus Whiscash. This is what you call "Dumb and Dumber".

Case in point, Whiscash already forgot what it's trying to do. I would like to help it, but I'm not any better.

Conchiglie didn't actually do too much damage after Whiscash's Amnesia. And I forgot what else I want to say.

I switched Conchiglie out for Farfalle. That move probably confused Whiscash really badly.

Last time I had some battles around Medali, 'cause I need to get to the north side of Paldea.

And my only weakness is your lunchbox. I don't mind getting hit by it, though.

Lotty, can you help steal this person's lunchbox? No, 'cause he's not a kid? You're just weird.

Leafeon used Sunny Day! Will it transform into an Espeon after that?

Lotty was trying to unleash her Poison Gas, but Leafeon's leaves are organic!

Lotty switched up tactics and slammed Leafeon with Zen Headbutt. It didn't do much damage, and things are not looking great.

I called Lotty back and sent Farfalline out. Let's see who got the greener Pokemon.

Leafeon scattered some seeds around our side, and they're slowly killing Farfalline! I guess she won't like eating watermelons.

The sunlight here is really strong, but Farfalline's Dazzling Gleam is even brighter.

One more Dazzling Gleam and Leafeon's gone. Grass is always greener on my side.

A Fari ... what now? Is that a new type of Farfalle I'm not aware of? I'm not complaining if that's the case.

Woah! This Pokemon looks like Ravioli! Is this what Ravioli evolves into? I didn't know she is capable of evolving!

Farigiraf has four eyes, so it should be doubly blinded by Dazzling Gleam!

Farigiraf is a strong Pokemon and knocks out Farfalline directly! Ah, I want it so badly!

Farfalle's here to avenge his sister! Farigiraf isn't the only twinsies here, when I have Farfalle and Farfalline!

Oh, Twin Beam hits twice? I should've let Ravioli learn that move then.

If Farigiraf is anything like Girafarig, then it should be weak to Night Slash as well!

There we go! Farigiraf is indeed a Psychic-type Pokemon, and that means I need to get myself one of those!

Hey, Ravioli. When will you grow into that big giraffe?

"The hardened head from the tail protects the head of the main body as Farigiraf whips its long neck around to headbutt enemies." It really is like they are twinsies or something.

"It evolves into Farigiraf when leveled up while knowing Twin Beam." Got it! That's why you need a Pokedex!

Time for Ravioli to remember how to shoot more than one psychic beam at once.

For right now, Ravioli will be channeling her twin power until she gets to level up and evolve.

Frostbite

Twin Beam is also a really useful move in battle, since it would be much stronger than Psybeam!

Sorry, Lotty, I don't think you got the swags. You're definitely good at enraging and confusing others, though. I'll give you credits for that.

Imagine if Clawitzer has two giant arms instead of one, then I would get to enjoy twice the delicacy.

Well, I'll take just one shrimp arm. And Ravioli's gonna need all these nutrients for her grand evolution!

Huh, this guy just spilled the tea on the teaching staff of the school. It's interesting for sure, but this piece of information doesn't help me at all.

The Sawsbuck around this region is covered in snow! I think that means the weather is getting colder, which makes it a great time for some hot mushroom soups.

Rufflet's feathers kinda look like they would suit a cold climate. I guess they do live in cold regions, huh.

Rufflet is always a pretty Pokemon, but I don't need one. If only it has psychic powers.

Finally! Ravioli evolved thanks to Twin Beam! It almost looks like her head is getting eaten by her chompy tail.

Ravioli is now grown up! And her tail is here to protect her in battle as well!

I'm starting to see more snow and more white mochi monster as well. I think I've finally reached the snowy mountain.

Jolteon will be Ravioli's first opponent as a Farigiraf. She is doubly as strong now.

I hope this frosty mountain is not gonna erupt, 'cause Ravioli's Earthquake is packing with power!

Ravioli's tail now also serves as a helmet, and I think she's well equipped with the cold.

There are wild Bronzong floating around here. I didn't know it is a cold Pokemon.

I'm glad they decided to put a Pokemon center in a cold moutain, but I think these staff need some warmer clothing.

So I've read some tales about frosty mountains, and there is apparently some Pokemon disguising as young ladies to freeze people.

You can't see him clearly, but Cavatelli is tasked to deal with this wild Froslass, who has an evil grin on her face!

(Who's more confused? Cavatelli or the game? Me, probably.)

Cavatelli's warmth combined with the radiant sunlight should be enough to protect me from any chilling yokai.

This place is really cold. Maybe I should've brought some warmer clothing.

Meanwhile, Cavatelli will be dealing with the Ice-type Pokemon living here. I don't need to drink iced tea right now.

You see, even the wild Pokemon here are sneezing!

The way to solve every problem is to host a picnic and eat a sandwich, and that's what I'll be doing.

In A Day of Ferrazzuoli

I can't believe it. My trainer is having a picnic ... again. This is the tenth picnic she has had today.

Yup, you're looking at me, the Stantler, who is bestowed the stupid name of Ferrazzuoli because my trainer has nothing but food in her mind.

She's so ignorant she doesn't even know her Gardevoir and her Gallade aren't related at all. Oh, and her Hypno is really just as distrubing as a regular Hypno.

The only wise one on her team is really just her Slowking, when he's not slacking off.

"If you think Adige cannot unlock your true potential, why don't you go find someone else?"

You know what, he's right. I've been caught for so long, and I've yet to be used in battles. I'm done with her.

Wait, but I can't swim. I'm drowning. Help.

Where am I? It's so bright I can't even open my eyes.

Huh, did I get transported to somewhere else? This is definitely not Glaseado Mountain. This guy here is also definitely not that mindless glutton.

This place is even colder than Glaseado Mountain! I don't think I've ever heard of a place like this. Where AM I?

My new trainer is bringing me to all sorts of places, and he clearly knows more about Pokemon battling than my previous one.

Pokemon battles here are certainly different. I get to use moves quickly in an "Agile Style".

I also learned a move called Psyshield Bash. It's a really cool move I like it a lot.

The only problem here is that I need to learn Chinese. Took me a while to understand what my new trainer is saying.

Another BIG problem is that some of the wild Pokemon are ferocious, and they want me dead.

Is that a Braviary my trainer is gliding with? It certainly looks nothing like the Braviary I've seen in Paldea.

My trainer also takes time to make sure his Pokemon are doing fine. He is certainly a human I can trust.

I can tell his Togepi love him. Or maybe he's always so happy because his Togepi share their happiness with him? I don't know.

Is this a Sneasel? They look more purple than I remember. I'm convinced this is all just a giant hallucination.

Pokemon living here are really powerful, and I keep needing to take Max Potions.

Hey buddy, can you tell me more about this place we're at?

"This place is Hisui, and it's no place for future travelers to be at. You will NOT survive this." Well, I get my answers, but I don't like what I heard at the end there.

This Zorua right here looks really sad. He also looks like he wants to tell me something.

My trainer only ever asks me to use Psyshield Bash in the Agile Style. Is this a strategy?

"Don't ... trust ... human ... man ... an ..."

Can I not trust human? Are they going to do bad things to me? All I see my trainer does is write on his paper Pokedex.

"You should trust humans. You can't grow strong if you don't trust them." Togekiss is a smart Pokemon too, and I feel like I should listen to him ...

Is my trainer using me as a meatshield? Does he truly consider me as his companion? What is he trying to achieve?

Do I really want to live in Hisui, a tough environment for both Pokemon and trainers? Or do I prefer the laidback life in Paldea?

Suddenly, my trainer is rushing somewhere while riding on his Pokemon.

Wait, what is the Pokemon he's riding on? It ... looks like me ...

I am ... the key to my own potential? I understand, but I also don't understand ...

And suddenly, everything makes sense to me. My horns ... are filled with explosive psychic powers.

I have gained so much power. I can distort space or create psychic walls.

I will never forget you. You have all taught me so much. But I must go.

I do not know the proper way to travel back to present. All I am hoping is that something in this farm will be able to manipulate time.

Raging Beef

Last time, I WAS HAVING A WALK WITH FERRAZZUOLI AND HE RAN OFF TO NOWHERE.

I think he fell into the lake or something, and now there's a white deer staring at the lake.

Hold on, are you Ferrazzuoli? You look ... different.

This is Ferrazzuoli ... He's now a Psychic-type Pokemon called Wyrdeer? I don't think I've heard of that before.

He has certainly grown into a different Pokemon, and the most important thing is I can use him in battles now!

Let's see how Ferrazzuoli perform in battles! This is so exciting!

Ferrazzuoli now learns this move called Psyshield Bash, which gives him a Defense boost in addition to doing damage.

So, I went and checked my Pokedex. It didn't document any Pokemon named Wyrdeer. This is so weird, dear.

Ferrazzuoli might've gained some weight, though, so let's teach him Body Slam.

Ferrazzuoli's first trainer battle starts with an Intimidate mirror match.

Endeavor? That's a Galarian TV Show about a detective.

Ferrazzuoli tried out his new Body Slam, which, as expected, didn't work very well against a large bird.

Body Slam is a great wrestling technique to paralyze your foes. I know 'cause I always watch wrestling shows while having dinner.

Staraptor was not glad about getting paralyzed and decided to send Ferrazzuoli away with Whirlwind.

Stelline was selected as my next Pokemon, and just knocked Staraptor out. You definitely messed with the wrong one.

Hm, this Tauros here has blue dots on its body? Is it a new type of Wagyu I'm not aware of?

Anyways, Quadrefiore's Air Cutter is gonna help us cut that beef.

WOAH! FAKE FOOD ALERT! That was actually a Zoroark pretending to be beef!

I'm angrier at Zoroark pretending to be beef than it trying to taunt us. How could you!

Luckily, Quadrefiore's Air Cutter works on Zoroark as well. Hm ... I don't think I've tried Zoroark meat before.

Mismagius's next, huh? Don't think I've seen one of those since the Iono battle.

I switched Quadrefiore out to Cavatelli, whose fire burns even brighter after taking a Mystical Fire from Mismagius!

Mismagius loves shocking people, and it's now time for it to get a Psychic shock from Cavatelli!

Ouch! I didn't expect Mismagius to throw magic rocks at Cavatelli! That hurt so much even on Cavatelli's sturdy armor!

Another Tauros? Can I trust this one? Is this going to turn into something else?

Zen Headbutt? You're not a Psychic-type, and you cannot use that!

Teapoy and Teapot

Hiking my way up makes me hungry, so I sent Quadrefiore to snatch some Snover Berries for me.

Ferrazzuoli, your new look is amazing, and you're definitely the better snowy buck around.

Is this coffee table made of ice? I guess that would be a great way to serve ice creams.

Conchiglie's Surf washed Avalugg away! That's why all the icebergs are melting.

As if we all know, cursing is a great way to beef up your muscles with an unfortunate drawback of slowing you down.

Let's shoot some Psybeam at Camerupt and hope that it won't start erupting.

I know that you're pissed, but cursing won't solve every problem!

Camerupt is now camfrozen, which is not any safer since frozen mountains can erupt too.

Dedenne might be a small Pokemon, but it is capable of casting bright gleams as well.

And guess what? Farfalline is about to brighten your day with Dazzling Gleam, too!

The reason why I didn't raise a hamster that much is that they shoot parabolic charges, and that they eat more seeds than I do.

And the winner of this Dazzling Gleam battle is ... Farfalline!

Wait, you have a Veluza, too? Now you've gotta tell me how you like your hake prepared!

That reminds me, I haven't really used Maltagliati in battle 'cause he's way overlevelled for me. Oh well.

Hm ... I can't help but notice that there are some candles buried here. Is someone preparing for a candlelight dinner?

Ferrazzuoli's mighty horns are so sharp they actually break Polteageist's pot open. Now the tea is everywhere, oops!
