League Trainers: Savanna Edition (3)

If I counted correctly, this trainer should be the last one I need to fight. Go on then, what can possibly go wrong?

Linguine and Cavatelli are great teammates. Let's see how they fare against an opposing Farigiraf and a Blissey.

People on Squawker keep claiming Protect is a busted move, but all I can see is how annoying it is.

Linguine gains extra force in his own Psychic Surge, but Farigiraf probably doesn't care much about that.

Cavatelli was going to wear Blissey down with some acid to burn that egg but protect protect protect.

As a Farigiraf user, I know all the tricks it can pull off. Twisting dimensions with Trick Room is definitely number one on the list.

Thanks to the twisted dimension, Farigiraf now runs the faster with its long body and screams really loudly with Hyper Voice.

Blissey used Ice Beam on Linguine, which shouldn't be too surprising 'cause most people store their eggs in the fridge.

It took him a second try, but Cavatelli managed to spray some acids on that egg scramble. Not healthy, but worth it for the Special Defense drop.

Linguine continued with his Expanding Force. Unfortunately, our opponents really do not give a freak.

Aw man, it's like someone took a look at my team and made that Farigiraf-Sitrus Berry strategy. Boo.

Blissey is already a very healthy Pokemon to take down. It eating Leftovers is just making matters worse.

Farigiraf went with Hyper Voice again and knocked Linguine out. Such an ironic way to go considering he loves using that move.

Blissey tried to freeze Cavatelli with Ice Beam, but his flames won't extinguish that easily.

Cavatelli cranked up the heat and cooked everyone with Heat Wave. I'm so ready for some onsen tamago.

WHAT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Farigiraf can use its Cud Chew ability to eat its Sitrus Berry again? How many Ability Capsules do I need to swallow to gain this ability?

Slowbro? More like fastbro, right? Get it, because we have the Trick Room up? Hahaha.

That's right! No one should go faster than Lumache in a twisted dimension, and she's going to scald all she wants.

Farigiraf hit us with Hyper Voice yet again, and Cavatelli's shield can't protect that. This is actually going terrible for us.

Oh, come on! I thought Blissey is supposed to be kind-hearted and heals everyone instead of shadowy and shady.

Well, Blissey isn't the only one with Leftovers. Lumache is also going to eat and sleep like she always does.

I'd love to send Ravioli out for a mirror fight, but she's not with me. Ferrazzuoli is the next closest thing, so he'll pretend to be a giraffe for right now.

There we go. Blissey might be able to eat up our Expanding Forces, but it won't be able to take a Body Press from Lumache.

Oh no. I don't like how close Lumache is to fainting. With its double necks, Farigiraf has a strong enough vocal cord to scream nonstop.

Well, as much as I love Farigiraf, fighting one hasn't been a pleasant experience. Let's send it back to the forest with some Double-Edge actions.

This battle took long enough the Trick Room and the Psychic Room are both gone. Hurry up, I don't want to miss dinnertime!

League Trainers: Savanna Edition (4)

Oh, come on! I wasn't expecting to see two bugs come in at the same time after sending Farigiraf and Blissey.

Luckily for us, Araquanid isn't just a regular bug. It is one that can be easily electrocuted with the right amount of volt.

Eeek! Rabsca knows very well my Psychic-type Pokemon won't like taking Struggle Bug in the face. Lumache bit the dust!

Ferrazzuoli hanged on with his dear life, but he lost some attacking power because he is too distracted by the damn bugs.

Well, I guess it didn't really matter, since Araquanid sealed the deer with a super effective Leech Life and gained some health back.

What! Araquanid really doesn't need to be holding a Life Orb to threaten my life. This thing is a living nightmare.

Thanks, Lotty, but I actually know very well what moves Rabsca can learn. Psychic is probably not the thing we should be worried about.

Farfalle used his skilled Psycho Cut on Araquanid, but his sword is not sharp enough to slice through that water bubble head.

Lotty won't be too useful dealing damage, so she needed a toxic way of wearing foes down with Poison Gas. Burp.

Oh no! How did I fall for Rabsca's psychic tricks? It synchronized with Lotty and now they are both poisoned. This stinks.

Dazzling Gleam? That was not what I expected from Rabsca. That means Farfalle's days are numbered.

Lotty and Rabsca are both getting worn down by their poison. This is going to decide who the winner is.

Fun fact, Psycho Cut is the strongest move to use on Rabsca from Farfalle and Lotty combined. Oops.

Lotty's Psychic has never been too threatening on any opponents, and it does not even leave a scratch on Rabsca's body.

Rabsca is still going for Dazzling Gleam, and Farfalle really needs to pick up the pace. Otherwise, Lotty will be left here alone, incapable of doing anything.

Argh! We're cutting it close, but Psycho Cut just does not work effectively on Rabsca. If only Farfalle brings his pair of X-Scissors with him.

If you think Lotty would be able to KO Rabsca with a mere Psychic, think again.

Of course, Rabsca is still going to use Dazzling Gleam, since it wants to get rid of Farfalle too. Lotty also is not doing too hot. I might lose this.

Oh no! Lotty was still getting hurt by her food poisoning, and she lost her final bit of health. I have no Pokemon left!

But Rabsca also succumbed to its poison, and its trainer also has nothing left to fight. Wait, how does this work?

Well, let's just pretend things went smoothly and I defeated the last student without making it a draw. Nope.

For defeating every regular trainer in the biome, I received 500 BPs. I feel like I have so many of these with nowhere to spend them on. Hmm.

I also got a TM for Expanding Force! Well, Linguine already has that move, so I'll have to see who else should learn this.

The only trainer left is Crispin, so I might as well pay him a visit, since my mysterious fan really wants me to do so. I paid 50 BPs for this, but I'm sure I still have enough for everything I need.

How about some Alolan pizza, no pineapples, extra mozzarella, two cups of lemonade, and some vanilla ice cream for dessert?

I finally got to greet Crispin properly, and so far, he seems quite chill. Now, I wonder if he really is that good of a chef.

I mean, Crispin has been holding a frying pan this entire time, but he hasn't cooked me anything, so I can't say for sure.

Are you kidding me? The "trial" is just making a sandwich? Sounds like the easiest assignment in my school life.

Crispin is a spicy lover. Nothing against his preference, but I really think he should try something sweet or sour sometimes.

Hold on. I can't use my own ingredients? Does that mean I'll need to pick up peppers and make spicy sauce myself? You know what, I'm fine with that too.

Don't worry about that. As someone who got an "A" for Home Ec, I am proud to put excellent sandwich-making on my resume.

It seems like Crispin asked some League Club members to join our picnic. I'll see if they want to give me any spicy ingredients then.

Fighting for my Potato Salad

If I don't want to pick up potatoes from the ground, I'll have to ask this trainer to give me some. But she specifically wants me to fight for them.

Woah! Do not ruin my mood of eating mashed potato for the night.

Oh no, I'm getting hungry and heated at the same time. Let's hope Lasagna and Spirali can cool down the heat for me.

Lasagna started the battle with Reflect. He's an agile cat and will probably go before everyone else.

Spirali's job here is to snarl at our opponents, but Eelektross couldn't quite hear that. I guess eels have bad hearing or something.

Snarl wasn't going to be anything more than a snort. Spirali was just using that to nerf Camerupt's Special Attack.

But since Eelektross dodged Snarl, its Discharge hit with full strength. Flashbacks of the Lacey fight appeared in front of my eyes, as I saw Camerupt taking no damage.

This time, Eelektross even paralyzed both of my Pokemon with the first attempt. Evil, simply evil, I say!

Lasagna definitely took a big hit there, so I'm glad he had his Sitrus Berry ready to recover some HP.

Camerupt then hit everyone with Earthquake, except Eelektross floats above that. This trainer has everything planned, and I HATE IT!

Since Lasagna and Spirali were both paralyzed, Eelektross managed to blow another Discharge and finished Lasagna off. Argh!

Spirali can probably take a few more hits, but he should eat his Sitrus Berry just to be safe.

Spirali got another Snarl going, and this time Eelektross will be penalized for discharging so much.

Camerupt went with a big hit on Spirali, but his Thick Fat protected him from that Overheat! HAHAHA, I did my homework before coming here!

Camerupt even lowered its own Special Attack because it overheated too much. Great, maybe we don't need that many Snarls now.

Aw, so sweet, Spirali! He broke through his paralysis as if I fed him a Cheri Berry or something.

Ferrazzuoli is in the mood of some overheating eels, so I'll send him out next.

Spirali is probably better at providing support to his teammates, but he can also flip things over with an offensive Belch! I told you eating can also be beneficial in battles.

Ferrazzuoli struck Camerupt with a super effective Earth Power. Let's hope those volcanoes won't be erupting so soon.

Eelektross is still around discharging electricity, and guess what, it paralyzed Ferrazzuoli on the first hit.

Jokes on you! Ferrazzuoli was worried he might get burned by the cranking heat, so he has a Lum Berry on him this whole time!

I'm speechless. Spirali got paralyzed again, and this time, his affection and love won't be saving him.

Camerupt is back to using Earthquake. I'm glad Ferrazzuoli intimidated it on entry, and now this camel has been weakened on both fronts.

No more time to waste. This Eelektross has been causing too much trouble, and it's time for it to get cleaned by a swift Double-Edge.

Spirali might be paralyzed physically, but his mind makes it through and slams Camerupt with Psyshock.

You're darn right that's what your potato salad is saying. I mean, you better give me that bowl of salad after paralyzing my Pokemon four freaking times.

Extra Spicy

Uh-oh, I was too excited for my potato salad, and I forgot that I need something spicier than that. I don't think Crispin would want this salad.

Hey, I don't usually do this, but if you really want this salad, this is all yours now! Just give me something spicy back, wink wink.

Ooh, the classic way of spicing your dish with slices of onions. I bet that'll make the sandwich quite refreshing for Crispin.

Why battle when you could buy? Say no to battle fanatics. Local food markets need your support.

Oh no, didn't I just say we shouldn't be battling for ingredients? Well, I'll have to, if I want some mayonnaise to sweeten things up.

I still have Lasagna and Spirali fighting by my side, against some lions this time. Let's hope this goes better than last time.

Pyroar number 1 crashed into Lasagna with Overheat. Thanks, but I like my food medium rare.

At least the Pyroar weakened itself by going too hard. It wouldn't be able to knock out Lasagna then.

Lasagna hit Pyroar number 2 with Psychic Noise. Somehow, I feel like a growling battle with two fierce lions is not a good idea.

Lasagna is never going to be too threatening with his little purr, but Pyroar number 2 will probably be distracted by his cuteness now.

Never mind, Pyroar number 2 just roasted Lasagna with Flamethrower. He's fine though, you see, his eyes are completely emotionless.

It might be a little too late now, but Spirali used his Snarl to weaken his opponents. Let's hope the lions won't just roar back.

Pyroar number 1 is now way too softened to do any damage. Instead, it went with a yawn to make Spirali drowsy.

Oh no, the thing I was worried about! Pyroar number 2 showed us how the lions roar with a Hyper Voice to destroy our ears.

Spirali needs to speed things up, so he just directly went with Psyshock. Unfortunately, attacking is just not his strength.

Penne made his way to the battle and took a while to cast a Tailwind on our side. Hey, at least he'll be flying fast now.

Pyroar number 2 is no longer affected by Psychic Noise. Honestly, Lasagna's voice really didn't linger that long.

If one Psyshock wasn't enough, a second Psyshock will surely send Pyroar number 2 back to its cave.

If the wind is already on our back, then Penne's Hurricane should be stronger than ever and enough to send Pyroar number 1 to its partner.

I actually didn't need mayonnaise for my big meal. I wasn't expecting to use my sauce to answer a pop quiz though.

I still have a cucumber to spare, and I'll trade that for some chili sauce. If you don't mind, I'll also take the ketchup for my post-trial fries.

For my final ingredient, how about some mustard? As much as I love spicy food, I'm glad I'm not the one chucking these things down.

Yeah, I'll just shove everything down Crispin's throat. I might as well help him call in a sick leave tomorrow.

After picking the perfect ingredients, putting them on the bread is a cakewalk. A piece of spicy cake, in this case.

Are you ok, Crispin? Your face turns all red. If you want to throw up, I have a bag for you.

I can't agree on Crispin's tastes on food, but I'm glad I make someone happy with sandwiches.

To make things better, I passed my Elite Trial as well. How about a victory sandwich for the both of us? Something sweeter, perhaps.

Well, that means I only have the Elite battle left. I already know Crispin will be using Fire-type Pokemon, so I should bring some ice cream with me.

A Bag of Crispin (1)

Making sandwiches is fun, and I can do all that, but I'm actually here for a mission. A mission to burn Crispin to a crisp.

Wait, I know that Drayton is a big food lover too, but I didn't know he's trying to cook! Is it gonna be tuna or cod or what?

Crispin isn't one to waste time rambling, so let's just get into position and start cooking with battles.

Well, I wouldn't mind some cooking time per se, but I won't get officially recognized if I only beat Crispin in a cooking battle.

Oh, right. The BB League battles are also in Double Battles format. Well, Spirali and Ferrazzuoli have been doing fine, so I trust them.

Crispin is a master of Fire-type Pokemon, so he had his Talonflame put on a Sunny Day to strengthen his team. Good strategy, honestly.

Ooh, lucky! Ferrazzuoli dodged an incoming Overheat, which would've destroyed him under the sun.

Spirali is here to support, which is probably why he caught Talonflame off-guard with some surprise Power Gems.

Oops. Didn't mean to douse Crispin's flames before he grills me some steaks.

Ferrazzuoli already intimidated our opponents, and now he's covering our special defense with Light Screen as well.

Talonflame then flew in the sunny wind and crashed into Ferrazzuoli with Flare Blitz. His Pokemon weren't messing around, you see. It did so much damage even after Intimidate.

Well, Talonflame was already down to the tiniest health possible, and the recoil from Flare Blitz will be finishing it off.

I knew this battle is not going to be easy, so I put a Sitrus Berry on Ferrazzuoli for him to get a quick heal.

Hey, Ferrazzuoli likes his berries cold and fresh. Please do not burn him or his food with Will-O-Wisp, thank you.

Spirali's Snarl proved to be quite helpful in those ingredients fights, and it still works well against this Rotom-oven.

Ferrazzuoli is hungry already, so he slams his head onto the oven, hoping to get a plate of fettuccine from that.

How to cripple a big-horned deer in three steps: first, you stab it with your pointy helmet.

Second, bait it to Double-Edge tackle you so that it will hurt itself from using that move.

Third, your creepy ghost burns with bring it down. Enjoy your venison ribs afterwards.

No way! We heard that Crispin has some Pokemon to cover for his Fire-type Pokemon, but I wasn't expecting it to be an Exeggutor! The Psychic-type one, for that matter.

A microwave oven is bound to overheat eventually, but luckily, Ferrazzuoli is still hanging on tough.

The Rotom lost even more Special Attack. I think it won't be able to cause so much mischief now.

Spirali is here to do the unthinkable. Yup, he is summoning some icy winds in this Sunny Day out against a Fire-type team.

Obviously, Icy Wind isn't going to do much, but our foes are now going slower and are probably getting frostbites.

Ferrazzuoli couldn't do much other than using Double-Edge on Exeggutor. His burn is hurting his legs, and it shows.

Thanks to the strong sunlight, Exeggutor managed to absorb enough sunlight to blast Solar Beam on Ferrazzuoli in one turn. That's how a solar cooker works, I suppose.

A Bag of Crispin (2)

You know what they say, fight fire with fire. We can't let Crispin do all the cooking, when we have Cavatelli here with us.

Rotom oven form is heating up some rice this time, and that caused the machine to overheat. Oops.

Ah yes, a critical hit. Let's see, *check notes*, that ignored Rotom's -3 Special Attack and our Light Screen. Wonderful.

Hey, dude, you should check your oven. I think some magic gemstones got stuck in its door.

Jokes on you, the Sunny Day isn't just shining on your side. Cavatelli powers up his Heat Wave with the sun and scored a double KO! It's like a double burger.

Spirali took a hit from that nasty Overheat, but he's still surviving the heat and enjoying his Leftovers.

Well, a double KO feels good, but your opponents also always come back in a pair.

Magmortar is here to fire off some heated Heat Wave. I'm glad Cavatelli ate that up and just made his flames burn brighter.

New opponents mean new targets for Spirali's Snarls. We already dealt with a Camerupt before, and it definitely needs to chill a little bit.

Cavatelli might've gotten a Flash Fire boost, but his Psychic is still probably going to do much on Camerupt.

Yikes! Camerupt lashed out with an Earth Power. Cavatelli's shield really needs an upgrade to protect him from underground attacks.

The sun is finally gone, and hopefully Crispin's team will slow down a bit from that. On the other hand, Cavatelli is probably not going to like this either.

Cavatelli also has some Leftovers in his lunchbox. Let's hope he will be able to withstand the heat for a little longer.

Unfortunately, we are no longer protected by Light Screen, and Ferrazzuoli isn't here to put one up. Oops, about to get sunburned.

Oh, never mind. Magmortar summoned a sun again. This is like a summer that never ends.

I'm not complaining though, at least Spirali got one more go with his Snarling action.

Cavatelli still feels salty about Camerupt's erupting Earth Power, and he decided to put out the camel with some Psychic.

Crispin is down to his final Pokemon, a Hoenn-fried chicken. Well, let's see how Crispin wants to spice up this dish with his frying pan.

That's it, Crispin cranked up the heat and Terastallized his fried chicken with a chandelier on its head. I've never seen this kind of cooking before!

But I still need to deal with Magmortar on the side, which is still using Heat Wave to slow cook Spirali.

I assume throwing pointy gemstones at a floating chandelier would be quite effective, but Blaziken can definitely eat some more hits than that.

Shadow Claw? I think Crispin's frying pan overcooked the chicken to death. Anyways, Spirali is actually deader than dead.

Blaziken looks like a fighter, so I thought Psychic might be a good move to use, but I guess not. Fair enough, 'cause I don't like eating chicken meat with too many muscles.

I've been to a farm before, and the chickens run fast when I'm chasing them! They keep running faster and faster, so I had to throw my knife at them.

I'm actually running out of Pokemon to use, so I hope Farfalle will be able to save us from this monster chicken.

Uh-oh, the one time I don't want to hear a chef cooking a flaming-hot special for me. Blaziken cooked up a Temper Flare, and it's gonna be ugly.

Goodbye, Farfalle, it almost felt like you only just got on the field a second ago. Now, my temper is getting flared up.

Magmortar doesn't have any strategies other than Heat Wave, even though Cavatelli hasn't been affected by that in the slightest.

Cavatelli continued with his Psychic tricks, but it is still not enough to roast that chicken. At this point, I don't think the Special Defense drop matters.

Don't worry, though. I still have one final Pokemon on the team, Calamarata, to save the day

Blaziken is a Fire-type Pokemon, so it knows very well than the Fire-type Cavatelli wouldn't like Stone Edge. We were cutting it close.

Magmortar is still cooking up Heat Wave, but I'm not serving fried squids for Crispin. Not under my watch.

This battle is not going to end well for us, so I need something different. How about some Skill Swap action from Calamarata?

After taking in so many rounds of Heat Wave that power up his Flash Fire, Cavatelli finally unleashed a Hotter Wave for his foes.

Our opponents are used to the heat, but that's all it takes to finish Blaziken off. A 2-on-1 situation is much easier to deal with.

HAHAHA! I knew Magmortar would still use Heat Wave, and Calamarata now doesn't care about that anymore.

Cavatelli might be low in health, but he is still agile enough to dodge that Heat Wave! Good job, team!

Let's give Magmortar a Throat Chop. I told you I'm not serving squid meals today.

Then a Psychic from Cavatelli will seal the deal. Who has the higher firepower now?

I wasn't that confident about my first Double Battle League fight, but I did it. Things were tough, but we figured it out.

Um, actually, cooking is 100% easier to understand than battles. Your food is either good or very good.

I defeated Crispin as requested by the mysterious person, and now I get a Crispin special cooked by his Magmortar. My day can't get any better!

Crispin even gave me a TM for that Temper Flare move. I'll make sure to use that when Miraidon steals my sandwiches again.

Well, now that I have Crispin defeated, I hope he goes back to cooking for the League Club. I'm the winner, so he needs to cook for free, right?

I wasn't expecting Drayton to show up out of nowhere. Is he spying on me? Is he the crazy fan? Anyways, I'll count him in for our post-battle dinner party.

Crispin was definitely way tougher than any Elite Four members I fought in Paldea. I feel like the other three are also not gonna be cakewalks.

Still, a mission accomplished is a mission accomplished. Let's see what my newest email says now.

Congratulations on wining the Crispin battle! That battle was so heated and close I thought you are done for when Crispin Terastallizes his Blaziken into a Fire-type! Of course, you still work it out at the end, which means you ARE as good as I thought. Oops, I just realized I didn't introduce myself properly, as my last email was so glitchy for no reasons. My name is Leif, a Grass-type trainer who studies at the Naranja Academy before coming to the Blueberry Academy as a transfer student. I saw your excellent skills in mastering Psychic-type Pokemon and came up with this idea of setting up an association for trainers who only train one type of Pokemon on their team. I am currently processing some legal documents of creating this association, so I still won't be able to meet you directly for more details. For right now, I want you to continue training your Psychic-type Pokemon team. For starter, I want you to help out the Terarium Club by donating Blueberry Points in exchange of expanding the Savanna Biome biodiversity. Then, you should be able to study more about this Pokemon called Fennekin. After that, may I suggest you go to explore the Coastal Biome, since there should be some more Pokemon you might be interested in there? Slow to the Party

Um, okay. So a guy named Leif is scouting trainers who only train one type of Pokemon, and he suggests me to support the Terarium Club.

What Charmander? I thought I'm looking for a Pokemon called Fennekin. Is this even legit?

Hey, are you Fennekin? Man, how am I going to search for something that I don't even know what it looks like.

A Rowlet? Well, that stupid face tells me it isn't a Psychic-type Pokemon, but I'll need it for my Pokedex entries.

Ouch! I wasn't expecting to get burned by some scorching sands! That's my worst nightmare when eating oysters.

There are now several new species wandering around the biome, at least they'll be helpful for filling in the dex.

Hey, I found a Fennekin, but I really don't understand why this Fire-type Pokemon is going to help me in any possible ways.

Well, whatever, she's now Radiatori and she'll be blazing with our team.

No thanks, I already have a Reuniclus, and I'm not looking for another one. Not even if it wears balloons on the head.

After hunting down Fennekin, I headed back to the Coastal Biome to see what else I can do.

With our new friend, Radiatori, sitting at the back of the team, 'cause I can't be using a non-Psychic-type Pokemon.

For now, I'll stick with Fileja and Rotelle to see how they fight against Grimer and Diglett. Hmm, I don't recall Grimer and Diglett looking like these.

I don't know what Diglett is hiding beneath the ground, but I sure don't like these darn Shadow Claws.

HA! It's that imposter Exeggutor that doesn't even use its psychic powers. Well, I'm not sharing my Figy Berry with you.

Jokes on you. Even though tall Exeggutor isn't super weak to Bug Buzz, it is still mildly weak to Bug Buzz.

And if it's not a Psychic-type Pokemon, nothing can stop me from using Psychic on it!

Caccavelle and Rotelle are now tasked to handle a very lazy Pokemon and another very lazy Pokemon. Wait ...

Is that a Slowpoke? Did it get its head dirty by some yellow sludge? Oh, you silly little poke.

Needless to say, Slaking is a more threatening foe, and I don't really feel like hurting Slowpoke anyways. Let's buzz with our bug.

Holy mackerels! Maybe I shouldn't have pissed Slaking off, 'cause its Giga Impact was giga impactful and almost killed Rotelle.

I see that our Pokemon are all pretty slow, so how about a battle to see who's the slowest in twisted dimensions with Trick Room?

Well, Rotelle can quickly scream with Bug Buzz now that going slow is not a problem.

And then Caccavelle sends Slaking back to the bamboo forest with some Psychic actions.

After the battle, I looked at the Pokedex and found out that I was actually battling a Galarian Slowpoke! Do I need to fly to Galar to find one of these?

Never mind, there are some living in the Coastal Biome. Well, I'll be catching one, since this form of Slowpoke is still a Psychic-type Pokemon.

Oh, did you just say radiate? I have a perfect Pokemon to show you then.

It's quite weird the Galarian Slowpoke would use Rain Dance, considering it isn't actually a Water-type now.

There we go! I caught a Galarian Slowpoke, and I'm now distracted by its tasty and spicy scent.

Pansotti is now joining us. He prefers to stick to his own tempo, but I'm sure he will get along with the rest of the team.

Well well well. If Slowpoke has a Galarian form, I assume both of its evolutions do, so I'll need Gnocci here. He's gluttonous and naughty, but that's why we love him.

Pansotti and Gnocci live in the beach, so naturally, they love walking around picking up seashells.

What's the matter, darling? A Galarica Twig? Well, we can eat the berries and put the twig back on the sand. Unless you expect me to knit these twigs into a crown or something.

The only problem with this beach is that there are toxic jellyfish here. Gemelli will now be in charge of cooking these jellyfish.

HAHAHA! Caccavelle is poisoned, but she is not taking any damage. The power of magic is here to protect her!

I need to catch a Tentacruel anyways, but I'm glad I didn't turn it into Tentacruel juice, 'cause those Liquid Ooze is going to hurt.

Slow Eating

Last time, I caught a duo of Galarian Slowpoke. I imagine I can evolve them, but how?

Wait, I've got a Galarica Twig, but how many do you need to weave me a cuff?

It's time for Gnocci to crawl his way back to the beach and find more twigs. Weird that these only grow when the sun sets.

We aren't going to get any twigs in the sea, but I'm not letting that stop me from taking a bath right now.

Uh-oh, maybe we shouldn't be doing any more swimming. I can sense a wave of sludge in the ocean. Ah actually, it's not even a real ocean.

Hold on, I'm busy playing with water, but my Fire-type Pokemon is going to evolve? You can't even swim, Radiatori.

Hold the flip on! Delphox is a Fire AND Psychic Pokemon? I guess Radiatori will actually be helpful now!

Let's see how Radiatori radiates her psychic energy with her spells. My effort pays out!

Well, we are not here to burn the witch. We are here to watch the witch burn down this bird with her Mystical Fire.

After exploring around the beach for a bit, I finally got enough twigs to make a Galarica Cuff! That looks so pretty I should put it on Gnocci!

Yeah, I mean it says giving it to a Slowpoke will make them happy, so I'mma do that. Pansotti will need to wait for the next accessory though.

Wow, this is how you get Galarian Slowbro! I wasn't expecting him to use his shell as a gun, but I'm not stopping him.

Gnocci is now ready to draw with his Shell Side Arm or slam with his Zen Headbutt! Yeah!

Don't you think the vibe of this plaza just match Galarian Slowbro so well? It's like Gnocci belongs to this place.

Alola! Isn't that the place with Malasadas? I really should pay that region a visit then!

Oh, you are referring to Alolan Exeggutor? I think that can be Alolan special dish too if you give it a good old scramble.

Ouch! I was trying to see what Gnocci as a Slowbro, but he wasn't ready to handle Dugtrio's anger!

Is it too late to put up a Reflect now or is it just going to make Dugtrio angrier? I'm not ready for three fried sausages to wreck my team.

Long Exeggutor is not a Psychic-type Pokemon, but it surely can use a few Psychic-type moves, such as Light Screen. That's annoying, as it will weaken our future attacks.

Don't worry though. Gnocci's Shell Side Arm fires in different ways depending on the situation, so he doesn't really need to worry about screens.

Yeah, maybe this isn't a great battle to test out Gnocci's newfound strength. We'll find somewhere without trio of moles digging around.

And now Ravioli is left alone to deal with the impostor egg tree and the impostor moles. Maybe we aren't visiting Alola.

Radiatori is the next one to enter the battle, but she'll need to take a Stomping Tantrum first. She didn't even do anything wrong!

Well, I'm glad Radiatori can burn Dugtrio in one Mystical Fire. I bet she'll be helpful in our barbecue nights, too.

I don't know where Exeggutor's ears are at, but Hyper Voice surely hurt those eardrums so badly it almost cracked the eggs wide open.

That's an Alolan Sandslash? I know what Alolan popsicles are made of then.

I found enough trainers to battle, and I was rewarded with 100 BPs and some random ass petals. Thanks.

Wait, did I just find an Elite Four member out here in a picnic? I thought Lacey is supposed to be the one residing in this biome.

Um, is this the Biting-type Elite Four? Either way, I know how much Bruxish can do with Crunch, and it definitely hurt Ravioli's neck a lot.

And Seviper glared into Ravioli's soul! Stop bullying her! She might not be able to move now.

Ravioli is screaming for her life, 'cause she's in pain. Please send help.

Gnocci then finished Seviper off with a Zen Headbutt. This snake is scary but not that threatening after all.

Bruxish crunched on Ravioli's head again and almost knocked her out, but Ravioli doesn't want me to cry and survived the hit!

Ok, maybe now I'm sad, Ravioli. Why don't you tough this out?

Bruxish live in the deepest and the most dangerous part of the ocean, right? Then a few doses of poison shots shouldn't hurt it too much.

Oh, come on. I was so excited to beat an Elite Four member so easily, but you're actually a fake? Boo.

A Battle of Slow

There is a printer in the Club Room that allows me to print items by putting in useless materials.

I put in a bunch of Exeggcute Shells, but the printer couldn't even print one dish of omelet. Stinkin' useless!

Look, Gnocci drew his gun more quickly than usual. Note that he activates his ability in a wild battle, this will be important later.

While we're at it, I might as well power Gnocci up with a Tera-Psychic. That should give me some quick Blueberry Points.

Before we go back to the Coastal Biome, let's take a dive with Gnocci by our side. Let's find some shellfish to eat!

Weaving a Galarica Wreath requires more twigs, so it better be worth it. I suppose it only makes sense this will belong to Pansotti then.

That's what I thought. Pansotti evolved into a Galarian Slowking after touching the wreath. He's now a hex expert wizard. So cool.

Just like Gnocci, Pansotti is also good at casting poison magic, except Pansotti doesn't use a gun. He simply uses his brain to do his poison tricks.

Time to swim with Pansotti instead. Even though the Galarian brothers are not Water-type, they still very much enjoy surfing waves.

I hatched Cheesecake from an Egg just so I can fill my Pokedex, but I have no use of Elekid. That's why I traded him to someone else.

Cheesecake's little brother, Cheesepuff, will also be moving to the Johto region. Goodbye, darling, I'll miss you.

Oh, really? I LOOOOOOVE Slowpoke. It's not possible you can love Slowpoke more than I do.

No way! Are we seriously using the same two Pokemon in this battle? Let's see who has the smarted slow pokes!

When everyone on the field is so slow, Slowbro is already the fastest and blasted my Slowbro with a Psyshock.

Yikes! That Slowking blew a Shadow Ball on Pansotti and lowered his Special Defense. Geez la wheez, that's some dark magic right there.

Pansotti casted a Psychic spell on the opposing Slowking. It's like a magic wizard match.

Gnocci just took a dip in the ocean, and now he's slamming Slowking with some Liquidation. That's the power of his shell.

Ouch. I guess Gnocci just couldn't quite match the opposing Slowking. He couldn't quite bite the bullet when he couldn't even fire his bullets.

And I almost lost Pansotti as well to Psyshock. We definitely need to train the slow brothers a little more.

How about some ice magic to freeze those shellfish? Pansotti can be a Blizzard wizard if he wants to.

We unfortunately cannot beat those slow pokes by our slow pokes, so I'll need the help from Linguine and his Psychic Surge.

All we need is some expanded Psychic force to finish those Pokemon off. That's what happens when you mix Psychic energy with poisons.

Enjoy this view of the Coastal Plaza from over the horizons. A Perfect picnic location, if you ask me.

League Trainers: Coastal Biome (1)

I wasn't expecting to run into a League Club member in the middle of nowhere. Are you here to pick up some sandwich ingredients?

This trainer has some floating bugs on their team, and I know so well Rabsca is capable of all sorts of magical things.

I knew it! Flygon hit everyone around with Earthquake, but Rabsca dodged the hit thanks to its telepathic powers.

I don't want to hurt that poor little Rabsca, so I'll be focusing on Flygon for right now.

As expected, Rabsca is here to support its teammate with Reflect. Psychic-type Pokemon can be quite dangerous when they show up on the opposing side of the battlefield.

The great thing about Double Battles is that I can double down on a threat by targeting it twice on the same turn. I call this the "Flygon Sandwich".

I have a feeling this is going to be a long battle, so I'm glad Ravioli has her Leftovers ready.

What is this turtle doing here? Trying to eat all the berries I found?

Torkoal's shell might look sturdy in flames, but Orecchiette is still going to kick that turtle.

Rabsca set up Reflect already, and now it is going for Light Screen as well. That means all of our moves are going to be weakened.

Ravioli used her mighty Hyper Voice to hurt our opponents. Bet Rabsca can't telepathize this!

I've always known Flygon as an Earthquake master, but I didn't know Torkoal can do that too. At least, this one isn't that scary.

In the case of an earthquake emergency, remember to duck and eat your Sitrus Berry. That tiny boost in your health can save your life.

Orecchiette High Jump Kicks Torkoal back to its shell. I think-a I've seen a video game like that before.

Rabsca hit Orecchiette with Psychic and left him with 1 HP! You can't use my own magic against me!

Ravioli cleared her vocal cords and screamed at Rabsca again. I need to give her some lemonade after this.

Aw man, you copied my Pokemon, and you copied my Sitrus Berry strategy? If you want to eat my berries, you could've just asked politely.

And the final Pokemon on the opposing team is Alomomola. It is a palindrome, which means it tastes the same when fried backwards.

Orecchiette has Thunder Punch ready for any fish he sees today. That's the classic way of fishing.

Alomomola poured a bucket of cold water on Orecchiette's head, and now he has been cleanly rinsed.

Rabsca casted a Psychic on Ravioli this time, but at least she can take the hit quite well.

We were determined to fry that fish, and Ravioli is here to give it a good Thunderbolt. Crispy.

Ok, you are just copying my homework now. Buy me an Academy Special, and I'll make sure Ms. Briar doesn't find out.

Pappardelle is here to save the day by blasting an Energy Ball on Alomomola. This is the new future of energy cooking.

Argh! Ravioli and Pappardelle both got hit by Struggle Bug and lost some of their powers. What an annoying move!

Ravioli's Thunderbolt is now a little weaker than before. Think it might be at 80000 volts or something.

Pappardelle needs to use the not very effective Lumina Crash on Rabsca to weaken its Special Defense.

But Rabsca hit us with another Struggle Bug, and now we're very much struggling. How about use Struggle Giraffe and Struggle Ostrich next?

Ravioli is feeling tired after fighting for so long, and her attacks are just getting weaker every turn.

Pappardelle tried to save the day with another Lumina Crash, but it wasn't really bright enough.

Darn it, I was hoping I could handle Rabsca quick enough, but I guess not. I like it better when it was just using Psychic-type moves.

No more mercy given to Rabsca. Linguine just came in and finished it off with Hyper Voice.

I found a pretty waterfall in the biome. This might be the place to find some rare fish.

I wasn't really thinking of Alomomola, but I suppose I do need this for my Pokedex and my secret recipe research.

Here, Gnocci shot his Shell Side Arm like a sniper. I trust that he knows how to fire his weapons to maximize damage.

Oh, a Seadra. I heard some people use it as herbal medicine. Well, it probably tastes horrible then. Bye.

League Trainers: Coastal Biome (2)

Gnocci and I were just trying to ask this Torkoal something really politely, but this turtle decided to smash its shell wide open, and we fled as quickly as possible.

Is this a Psychic-type lesson? Sign me up! Tell me more about Reflect and Light Screen.

Oh, a Minior. I know this Pokemon, because there is a brand of chocolate candy themed after it. You never know what flavors you get until you open the wrap.

Minior used Shell Smash and revealed the color of its core. Don't know about it, but my face definitely turned white. Bye.

This mountain is looking too dangerous with so many explosives around. Let's fly to somewhere else.

What on earth! Um, actually it should be ... what in earth! You're gonna kill everyone in the mountain by doing that.

Especially with that fancy hair Dugtrio you got right there. It probably found some wigs underground and decides to wear them on its heads.

Excuse me, did someone spill their milk on the ground? Well, too late to cry for that, I'll help them pick this up.

Oopsie. The milk has been staying in the sun for way too long, and now it is poisoned.

This milk cream Pokemon is called Milcery, and I think they should make more of all this Pokemon. Life would become so much better.

What? Being moody can actually be useful in Pokemon battles? Then I would've become a Pokemon master the day I was born.

Ew? I know Pokemon can eat their Leftovers to become healthy, but why would anyone eat a pile of Black Sludge?

HAHAHA! I have the perfect solution for a moody painter. Let me send Pappardelle out and copy all the boosts!

There isn't too much left outside, and I figure there might be some interesting things hidden in this cave. Turns out it's a large labyrinth.

I was looking for some food, 'cause I'm getting hungry. Instead, I found something that looks hungry and was looking at me like I'm the food.

Hey, I'm in the League Club too, so that would make me the stronger one. At least that's how I think it works.

This battle started with Lanturn turning the field electrical. Convenient, as I need to heat up my frying pan.

Woah! Did I overheat my frying pan? Why is everything exploding all of a sudden?

And Lanturn got to absorb the explosion? I wasn't prepared for this, and this just isn't fair! I hate these club trainers and their strategies.

On the other hand, Pansotti and Ravioli got caught up in the explosion and never got see the lights again.

Come on! Rhyperior just entered the field and already got a Defense boost because it's holding some magical seeds. I hate everything about this.

Lanturn is now using Discharge, and of course, Rhyperior soaks up with its Lightning Rod. Can they stop synergizing so darn well?

Then Rhyperior made some Stone Edge pop out from the ground and sent Rotelle back home. I haven't even moved any of my Pokemon.

Gnocci slammed Rhyperior with Liquidation. It wasn't as good as I hoped even though Rhyperior looks so dry.

Oh, finally. Gnocci got to use his Quick Draw when it actually matters. He went with another Liquidation on Rhyperior.

Lanturn went with Discharge again and wore down both of my Pokemon. Gnocci even got paralyzed, and he probably won't live that long.

Yup, 'cause Rhyperior targeted Gnocci with Stone Edge. I've lost four Pokemon in like three turns. How is that even possible?

At least Cappelletti scored a KO for herself by using Psychic on Rhyperior. I'm at least glad the bigger threat is gone.

We are both down to the final two Pokemon, but as much as I to say it, I don't think Quadrefiore can help us that much here.

We need to go faster if we want any chances of coming back, so Quadrefiore put on a Tailwind for our side.

Cappelletti got to ride the Tailwind and landed a Psychic on Eelektross before that eel can even open its mouth.

Lanturn continued with its Discharge. While Eelektross also took some damage to it, Quadrefiore took the biggest hit, since her feather dress is an electrical conductor.

Eelektross then injured itself by using Wild Charge on Cappelletti, but of course, it had a Sitrus Berry for that.

I only have Cappelletti by my side. Needless to say, I'm not happy to see her get paralyzed. Can she heal herself please?

After another round of electricity assault, Cappelletti fell from an overshock. This shouldn't be a shock to anyone.

Just you wait. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and I'll be serving it hot in fire for you.

League Trainers: Coastal Biome (3)

Ok, let's try this again, except I already know your strategy, and I'll be using Bigoli's leaves to block those electricity.

All explosives must be taken with great care. How about having Macaroni clap in front of it and make it flinch?

Just like last time, Lanturn set up an Electric Terrain. This time, I know what they are planning and won't take out my frying pan.

Great! Bigoli took care of Golem with just one Giga Drain! You can drain that rock all you want. I'm not judging.

Rhyperior is back again, and it is still the bigger problem here. At least I shouldn't need to worry about its Electric Seeds.

Macaroni just spit out a Sludge Bomb on Lanturn, and guess what, it is now badly poisoned. Told ya you shouldn't drink spoiled milk.

Lanturn knows Bigoli wouldn't mind taking Discharge, so it switches to using Ice Beam and try to freeze him over.

Bigoli took the hit quite well and even ate one of his Sitrus Berry. Actually, I think he'll need three of those for his three heads.

Bigoli got to drain even more life force with a gigantic effective hit on Rhyperior! It got knocked out before it can even do anything!

Lanturn has Leftovers in its pocket, but it also needs to pay attention to its bad poison.

Eelektross came in next, and Macaroni gave it a good old Sludge Bomb and bad poison combo. Neat!

Hey, I think your Sitrus Berry is also poisoned, and you really shouldn't try to eat it.

Bigoli took another Ice Beam to its face, and he barely survived the cold. This is why you don't turn into a tropical dragon.

Bigoli finished Lanturn off by a super effective Giga Drain. Finally, the annoying fish is out of the way.

Bigoli endured the cold, but he now needs to face the heat. Don't worry, he's hanging on with the tiniest amount of health.

One more Sludge Bomb and one more Giga Drain. Eelektross is the final one to be cooked.

Oops, did I just sweep your team with my two Pokemon? Sending a message to Drayton to kick you out of the club.

There are wild Gothita inhabiting this cave. Hmm, I wonder if it is a sign of doom.

You are in a cave, doing absolutely nothing other than asking people where you are.

Uh-oh, I'm glad to see a Malamar being used in battle, but I also know that it has some nasty Dark-type moves that I don't like to see.

Which is why Lasagna will be Faking Out on Malamar. No calamari rings for us.

Yikes! I wasn't expecting Zangoose to scartch Lasagna with Shadow Claws. That's my cat's job!

At least Zangoose is easy to handle. Just give it a good old High Jump Kick, and it goes down bye jump kick.

Hey, why are these Psychic-type Pokemon all holding Leftovers? I need to apply for a patent for this.

Woah! I was wondering where does this ball of cottonfluff comes from, and it suddenly Moonblasts Lasagna away.

Orecchiette's next kicking target is Malamar. I can't just sit here and wait for its dirty tricks.

There it is. Malamar tried to slice us down with Night Slash, but Orecchiette can take that quite well.

Pappardelle made her dazzling entry by shining a Dazzling Gleam and knocking Malamar out. Beautiful.

Darn it! Whimsicott then used Moonblast on Orecchiette, and there's no way he could've survived that.

All this time, you have a Meowstic all along? You're like a half-Psychic expert then.

Whimsicott tried to throw some Stun Spore on Pappardelle. What a prank trickster!

Pappardelle doesn't have too much she can do to Meowstic, but I'll gladly take a critical Energy Ball.

Meowstic tried to cook Pansotti with Thunderbolt, but guess what? He's not a Water-type, so he can safely take a shock or two.

Which gave Pansotti a free turn for throwing Sludge Bomb on Whimsicott. Your cotton candy has been poisoned to death.

With only Meowstic on the opposing side, I'm not too worried even though Pappardelle still needs to rely on Energy Ball for damage.

Bzrt! Pappardelle is the next one to get hit by Thunderbolt, and I'm really glad she isn't an actual bird.

All we need to do is to soak Meowstic up with some dirty Sludge Bomb, and this battle is done.

The labyrinth gave me a taste of defeat and a dish of revenge, but that's already more than I want. Let's head out and breathe some fresh air.

Oh, no this crap again. I'm getting flashback. Though I can agree on its eating habit of swallowing food in one gulp. Maybe I'm a Lanturn after all.

I think it's about time I face Lacey in an Elite Battle, but I got pulled over by this fellow. Sure, I'll bite.

A Tentacruel and an Araquanid? What is this? Creepy crawlies with multiple limbs episode?

If you know me well, you will know that I can't stand big bugs. How about a clap on Araquanid's gigantic bubble head?

Ew! Tentacruel blasted a Sludge Bomb on Penne and landed a nasty poison. How do you aim so well when Penne is flying in air?

Let's not let that stop Penne from blowing a strong Hurricane and blast Araquanid away. Threat safely removed.

Too bad Penne is getting crippled by his poison. This is like the start of eagle flu or something.

Lasagna tested out his beautiful Psychic Noise. It didn't do much damage, but Tentacruel won't be able to heal itself for a while.

Lasagna is the next one to get hit by Sludge Bomb, and of course, he gets poisoned too. What is this? A Plague?

Penne looks like he is ready for the cold weather, but no, he is still very much weak to Ice-type moves. That's why I can't give him shaved ice.

Pansotti came in, hoping to save the day. Lasagna gave him a good confidence boost by clapping vigorously.

Oh, you little b-ewitching sneak f-lopping jellyfish. Of course, you would use Protect now.

Kingdra blasted an extra-power Hydro Pump on Lasagna, and he definitely couldn't take it. Hey, I like my lasagna dishes dry.

ARGGGGGGGG! I was hoping to wreck Tentacruel in one boosted hit, but of course, it protected itself!

Screw you, Tentacruel. I hope someone cuts off your slaps and fry them up with olive oil and oh no, I'm getting hungry.

Let's hope Pappardelle can make things right by crashing some Lumina on Tentacruel. At least it is losing Special Defense from this.

Tentacruel rode on a wave of Muddy Water and blasted on my Pokemon. Puke! Don't drink those!

The mud got into Pappardelle's eyes, and she will have troubles aiming properly now. Gross.

Come on! Pansotti isn't a Water-type Pokemon, but he lives by the sea. No way he would fall to a Hydro Pump if it wasn't a critical hit!

Tentacruel swallowed a pile of Black Sludge and recovered some health. Is that how you cure poison with poison?

I've had enough of this jellyfish. It isn't a real fish, and I can't even steam it with hot water. Please don't come back ever again.

Pappardelle is the next one to bite the dust, but we all know she tries her very best already.

Finally, a pumping water dragon can be eliminated by just shining a ray of Dazzling Gleam on it. Good.

We only have Alomomola left to deal with, and Lotty is here to help Cappelletti out.

Sure, we might as well make it rain. I'd like it better if it's raining cheese strings.

Alomomola is going to be an annoying fish to deal with, so Lotty needs to poison it with some gas first.

Cappelletti will be taking her time to calm down her nerves. We need to think this through, calmly.

Meanwhile, let's hope that Alomomola will be slowly worn down by its poison.

Wide Guard? Not a problem if we aren't even using anything to attack it.

Lotty won't be providing that much damage anyways, so she might as well focus on the defense by putting up Reflect.

There is no such thing as too calm of a mind. Let's keep using Calm Mind until Cappelletti feels no emotions.

Alomomola will also be healing itself with Leftovers. Now I'm glad we poison it first.

Lotty pulls off a Foul Play on Alomomola, but it wasn't that useful.

At this point, Cappelletti will not stop calming her mind until she's ready to go, and here's why:

Alomomola tries to sneak us up with a Mirror Coat! I can't be throwing attacks if it is using Mirror Coat!

Sure, this took a few more turns than it should've, but now Cappelletti has maximum damage power.

Oh yeah, Alomomola won't be taking this Psychic after Cappelletti charges up her mind fully.

I got to know Lacey's secret now. I was hoping to find out her favorite food, but I'll jot this down anyways just in case.

That's all of Coastal Biome trainers out of the way! I got 500 Blueberry Points as well as a bucket of hot sands. Ouch.

I suppose I should pay Lacey a visit, and it may be time for me to take on her Elite challenge, 'cause why not?

Even though Lacey was initially opposed to me joining the league, she still welcomed me to challenge her now. I'll have to do this to make the Leif guy happy, so sure.

Drama, what drama? Sometimes I watch drama while I'm having lunch at home. A perfect side dish to go with my risotto.

Ah yes, I do like adorable pink colors too. There should be a pink Psychic-type Pokemon with a floral pattern, in my opinion.

Match number two against Lacey, but this time she will be using her elite team as part of the official Elite match!

We'll be starting off with Spirali with Macaroni. They are already getting intimidated by Granbull, but I'm not too worried.

Macaroni gave us a grand opening by flinching Whimsicott with Fake Out. I just know that cottonball is up to no good.

Spirali is here to blow some Icy Wind on our opponents to slow them down. It's like someone left the fridge door open.

Ouch! Granbull unleashed its anger by using Stomping Tantrum on Macaroni. Come on, we haven't even done anything to hurt you.

Macaroni is going aggressive today, and he will be using his Petaya Berry to further boost his psychic powers.

Macaroni prepared a stinky Sludge Bomb for Whimsicott, and that is a clear knock-out! First point goes to Adige!

Spirali then took his team to put on Reflect. After seeing what Granbull can do, this is very much necessary.

Well, it's too late to save Macaroni now, as he was already too weak from the last hit. I guess this is a tie between us now.

I sent in Pappardelle to fill in the slot, while Lacey has her Primarina take the stage. This is suddenly a singing contest, what?

Pappardelle is here to provide a strong support with her Lumina Crash. Primarina might be able to take this first hit, but her Special Defense also took a harsh drop.

Spirali joined in the performance show, though I don't think the audience wants to hear his Snarl. Well, neither does Primarina.

Primarina then blasted a Shadow Ball on Pappardelle. Even though it took a Special Attack drop, that still hit so strong. Yikes.

Granbull is finally not throwing a tantrum anymore. It is now happily playing, but it might've played too rough on Spirali.

Do not worry. Spirali's pocket is always filled with tasty berries, and this is no exception. He chowed down on his Sitrus Berry and got some health.

Pappardelle went with another Lumina Crash and further wore down Primarina. At this point, a burp on the sea lion will finish its show.

*belch* Spirali is feeling full from his berry, and he released some poisonous gas. This is the one time he can ignore dining etiquette.

Granbull went with Play Rough on Spirali again. Don't worry, pigs do this all the time, and Spirali is used to that.

Wait, what! I should've known Lacey has a Galarian Slowbro when she says she like adorable pink Pokemon!

Oh, are you kidding me? Slowbro just hit the field, and it's already quick drawing his firearm? Why doesn't Gnocci do this?

Aw man, Pappardelle was doing so well until she got shot by that Shell Side Arm. Argh, losing to a Psychic-type Pokemon is even more frustrating!

One Belch is not enough after a big meal. Spirali burped again and finished Granbull with his critically smelly gas.

Imagine getting mad at a critical hit after getting a lucky Quick Draw.

Aww. Lacey has an Alcremie ready for celebrating my Elite victory. That's awfully nice. Maybe I'll share a slice with her.

I can't let the sweet milky cream distract me! Spirali needs to focus and just blow his Icy Wind to slow our opponents down.

Wait? Decorating on your cake is a Pokemon move now? Darn it, I should've Katy about her pastry work!

What in the shell! Putting strawberries on Slowbro gave it strong stat bootst? I have a bunch of those in my bag, can I put them on Spirali right now?

I know very well what cakes are made of, and they are definitely very squishable with Campy's Heavy Slam.

Poor Spirali. He got shot by a decorated Shell Side Arm. I guess we're putting Iberico Grumpig on the dish next.

Alcremie has more than cherries on its top. It has Leftovers in its pocket, so I assume someone left the cake in the fridge yesterday.

We also lost our Reflect right after losing Spirali. Dang it, who's gonna putting the screen up now?

You know what? I think a Slowbro's biggest enemy is probably another Slowbro, but this one in Kantonian flavor.

Oh, are you fucking kidding me? Lacey's Slowbro got its Quick Draw going again? Why don't you change its name to Quickbro then?

Imagine getting bit in the tail and shot in the front. Lumache took a huge chunk of hit right after she hit the stage. Yikes.

Lumache is now poisoned! Does that make her a Galarian Slowbro now?

Oh, come on! Why doesn't my birthday cake get to use Recover after I finish eating half of it?

Lumache's Psychic didn't work that well against Alcremie. Makes sense, 'cause I am weak to food-type.

Argh! Alcremie just refuses to melt from our Psychic! This is the one time I want a cake to be gone as quickly as possible.

Lumache wasn't going to survive anything else, but having her life drained by a pile of cream is just insulting.

Ok, enough dessert for us. We need to go on with the main course.

Slowbro fired its Shell Side Arm, but Campy's metal body is quite bulletproof.

Uh-oh. Lacey brought her Excadrill back, and we know that thing does not mess around.

Well, let's hope that Ferrazzuoli's majestic horns would be enough to make Excadrill scared.

Oh right. Lacey trains Fairy-type Pokemon, so it makes sense for her to turn Excadrill into one.

How high is this horse, and how does it hit Campy's floating body? Darn it, I thought its sturdy body would be able to take the hit.

OH OF COURSE IT WAS A CRITICAL HIT WHY WOULD IT BE ANYTHING ELSE

Ferrazzuoli is our only hope now, so he has to use his full Earth Power to crush Slowbro.

Of course, every Psychic-type Pokemon has to bring a berry to battle by law. I'mma drink all the berry juice I can find after this match because I'm so mad.

Just like Bambi's mother, Ferrazzuoli was shot by a merciless hunter. Deer meat should be illegal, man.

Slowbro isn't the only one allowed to eat. Ferrazzuoli can also take his time to swallow his Sitrus Berry. No time for chewing.

Ferrazzuoli might've survived the gunshot, but he couldn't take a High Molepower afterwards. Welp.

I'm so angry. I'm so mad. I need to eat three gallons of ice cream before I come back for revenge.

Hot N Cold

Just like a satisfying buffet, I go for round two immediately without even needing to take a rest. I'mma crush Lacey this time with my own hands.

Using Fake Out on Whimsicott worked so well last time, Macaroni tried that again and landed a bad poison yet again. Yeah, I'm toxic, so what?

Spirali also keep his strategy this time, which means he starts the battle with an Icy Wind. I like my fruit punch sweet and cold, you know.

Well, we aren't the only one who still feel salty from last battle. Granbull is also here to unleash its anger with Stomping Tantrum.

Just like last time, Macaroni took the hit with just a tiny string of spaghetti of health left. That's enough for him to regain energy by eating a Wiki Berry though.

On the second turn, Whimsicott is no longer afraid of Macaroni's toxic tricks and used that time to set up a Tailwind. Well, there goes our Icy Wind.

Granbull caused so much trouble last time. This time, Macaroni immediately sends it away with a nasty Sludge Bomb.

Even though the big bully dog is gone, I still think it's a good idea to put on Reflect just in case. A wall of defense is always handy.

We need to deal with Whimsicott for a longer time, but at least it will slowly be worn down by its poison. That's why you don't pick up wild mushrooms to eat.

Whimsicott's Moonblast hurt quite a lot on Macaroni despite being not very effective, but what's worse is the Special Attack drop. Of course, Lacey would get that special effect.

At least it doesn't really matter at the end, since Primarina just finishes Macaroni off with Shadow Ball.

Primarina was also quite problematic. We need Spirali to weaken our foes as quickly as possible.

I also made some adjustments to the order I send out my Pokemon, with Ferrazzuoli coming in next this time.

Whimsicott continues with its Moonblast assault, but I don't think Spirali believes in the power of the moon.

Oh, come on. Lacey is just bullying Spirali at this point, with her Primarina using Shadow Ball on him this time.

I trust that Spirali can still eat more hits, especially after eating his Sitrus Berry for some emergency Vitamin C intake.

Spirali landed another Snarl on our opponents for another round of Special Attack drops. I need to give him some water to soothe his voice.

Ferrazzuoli unleashed his Psychic on Primarina, but unfortunately, it didn't do that much. Hmm, we need to step up our game.

At least we don't need to worry about Whimsicott, as it eventually got finished by its poison. I told you not to drink expired milk.

Oh no, my worst enemy. Fighting Psychic-type Pokemon is always so difficult, when we could've just been sharing food with each other. But nope, this Lacey girl just needs to fight my psychic with her psychic.

Primarina tried to freeze Spirali over with Ice Beam. Uh-oh, this is like me putting my pork chop in the fridge before my grand meal.

New opponents to fight means new targets for Spirali's Snarl. Let's hope that Slowbro won't be so aggressive with its gunshots this time.

Spirali took a Flamethrower after getting beamed by ice. You might think those are effective against a little pig, but Spirali got his Thick Fat ready. Haha.

Maybe not that much with the heat. Spirali was burned from overheating. Darn it.

Ferrazzuoli was the last one to move, but he landed big with his Earth Power. A strong hit on Slowbro that also lowers its Special Defense.

Oh right. Lacey couldn't come up with a better idea, so she just copied my Psychic Pokemon along with my Sitrus strategy. I'm reporting to the director for plagiarism.

Yay! Spirali is no longer burned because he is just that determined for revenge.

The Tailwind is no longer blowing on the opposing side. Time for Slowbro to actually go slow now.

This Feels So Right

After having a delicious berry meal, Spirali landed a good Belch on Primarina. If he could, he would've aimed his gas at Lacey herself.

Sorry, boo. I can't let Slowbro stand here when it has a shell gun. Ferrazzuoli made sure our psychic friend is gone with his critical Earth Power hit.

Guess what, Lacey? This feels so right I'mma do it again.

Primarina continues to blast Spirali with Shadow Ball. If only his Thick Fat can stop those.

Uh-oh. Our Reflect is already gone, but the big monster hasn't even showed up yet. Hmm, what to do...

Argh! The cake is back again. I hope it isn't here to decorate fruits this time. Wait, let me take out my salad.

Spirali released his Belch again, but it wasn't that strong against Alcremie. Hmm, think I need to feed him another berry or something.

Good. Alcremie doesn't feel like putting blueberries on Pokemon this time. Hearing it sing isn't much better, but I'll take it.

Primarina finished Spirali off with one more Shadow Ball. Even the mightiest pork eventually gets chopped.

Well, time to send Primarina back to the ocean with a Wild Charge. I suppose it likes to perform unplugged versions.

If you think that I put Wild Charge on Ferrazzuoli just because I hate Primarina that much. You'd be right.

Oh, that's right. Alcremie is holding some Leftovers. Darn it, I should've brought some of Drayton's snacks to this battle too.

Here it comes. Lacey sends out her digging mole and Terastallizes it into a Fairy-type. Let's not let history repeat itself this time.

Well, we're already failing, because Ferrazzuoli got knocked out by High Horsepower just like last time.

It might be a little too late now, but Pappardelle put on a Reflect just like how she usually puts on her makeup. Gorgeous.

Ay, Pappardelle is here to sing and not to be hit by some Alluring Voice. She definitely gets the better voice, if you ask me.

Ouch! Pappardelle is a bird; you aren't supposed to kick her with a horseshoe! Luckily, she took the hit with exactly 1 HP left!

I'm so glad Pappardelle took that hit, 'cause she gets to eat her Petaya Berry afterwards! Time to go offensive!

Pappardelle blasted a boosted Flash Cannon on Alcremie, but that milky cream is still surviving. It is definitely aging well.

Oh, come on! Right when I thought Alcremie is low in health, it drained Lumache's life force and gained some health. How the turntables.

Time for us to put the creamy cake back to the refrigerator. Lumache froze our enemies over with some chilly Icy Wind.

Excadrill is going to be a sturdy mole to break. Let's wear it down by shining some Lumina Crash on its metal body.

Taking one High Horsepower is already quite lucky for us, but now the horsepower is just too high, just like me on a regular Tuesday.

Darn it. Our Icy Wind didn't quite freeze Alcremie, and now it is still using Giga Drain on Lumache. I hate it when my berry cakes do that.

COME ON! Lumache tried to cook Excadrill up with Scald, but that stinky mole somehow took the hit. This is not right!

Campy is our finally hope now, so I have to trust that it can pull through, even though it needs to first take a High Horsepower heads on.

Oh crap. I thought I'm doing well, but all of a sudden, my Pokemon are dying left and right! Are we doomed again?

First things first, Campy needs to crush Excadrill with its heavy metal body. Haha, that's why Terastallizing can bite you back!

This is a battle to see whether Campy or Alcremie can last longer, when both Pokemon get to eat their Leftovers.

Good lord! Campy almost lost all of its health from Alluring Voice! I guess a bell would be weak to noises.

Too bad for Alcremie. It is too light to take Campy's Heavy Slam! Campy even landed a critical hit. Darling, you're getting praised from this!

I don't hate losing, but I'd hate losing to you twice.

Anyways, I succeeded in defeating Lacey, which means I'm climbing my way up the League Club rank.

Lacey gave me a TM for Alluring Voice, but no thanks. I'm more into alluring cupcakes, if your Alcremie can make some for me.

Drayton is here to congratulate me for defeating two Elite Four members already. Don't worry, I'm definitely by your side, 'cause she isn't too polite with me either.

Holy mackerels. I was wondering where this onion comes from until I remember Kieran has this purple hair now.

Oh, Kieran saw that first match, didn't he? And now he's taunting me like I'm some kind of weak bitch. Guess what? I am.

I will probably fight the other two Elite Four members, but first I gotta see what my loyal fan wants me to do.

I immediately rushed back to the League Club Room, and. *beep beep beep* Huh? Leif is waiting for me in the Canyon Biome?

Leif sends me his location through the Rotom Phone, and he's quite far away from my reach.

He also synchronized our Blueberry Quests, which means I can do more quests at the same time now. Cool. Does he want to do more of these?

Leif wants me to write some researches about Psychic-type Pokemon, and I'll need to catch more Pokemon to do so.

He brought me over to this patch of grass, where I ran into the shield dragon. But now, all I see is this headbutt baby T-rex.

Weird. The Pokedex says Cranidos can't be found in the wild, yet I clearly catch this in the biome. Am I in some weird psychic universe?

While we're here, I might as well catch this Cinccino. I get nervous because someone is watching me.

Leif then asked me to connect with his Rotom Phone, because he can send me some more Pokemon to help me.

Such as this Sceptile, which doesn't actually live in the wild. Well, thanks, I hope this makes Perrin happy.

Leif certainly knows a lot about Grass-type Pokemon. In fact, it seems like he has written some reports about Grass-type Pokemon, even though he hasn't publishing his findings.

"Well, I gotta go now, since I need to continue my research. Please clear the Canyon Biome and fight Amarys next! I'll see you again afterwards!"

I'm getting so close to Perrin's request, but these final Pokedex entries are so much harder to fill in!

I still can't quite process everything Leif said to me, but I remember him telling me to take care of the Canyon Biome next.

I think I should start at this corner, until I see this mysterious large cave. Seems like a perfect spot for an underground restaurant.

Um, ok, maybe not so much for a restaurant, 'cause these giant blue crystals look like they are made of radiation.

Speaking of radiate, I think it's time to let Radiatori out to take care of my current least favorite Pokemon. Yeah, I'm still salty.

I'm so glad Radiatori is making friends with all the wild Pokemon we see. I'm sure she's filled with positive emotions now.

I'm always impressed by how much the Pokemon Center service covers. Like, this underground plaza is not an optimal place for healing and resting.

Hold on, I've never seen this Pokemon before! It looks like some metal computers getting possessed by some spirits. That's a Psychic-type Pokemon if I've ever seen one.

AHHHHHHH! I'm falling! This cave is even deeper than I thought!

Phew, for once, I'm glad Miraidon is here to save me. But it seems like this is not a great place to fall into.

We're getting even closer with our 200-volume goal! I even got a Metal Alloy just in time for our new metal ally.

Let's walk with Rustiche around here. After all, this is its home territory, so it probably knows where the good food are at.

Oh, that way? It seems brighter that side, and I hope it's not Arceus leading me to that place.

Ah-choo! I wasn't expecting the other side of the cave to be this cold. Rustiche, we don't eat snow here. I can buy you some ice cream if you want.

I've once again reached the Polar Biome, but this ain't where I need to be. So, let's get back to business.

Ok, that cave was not as pleasant as I hoped, so I suppose we'll be going back to the stony part of the biome.

Let's host an afternoon tea party with a guest Gothitelle appearance. What's that? A creepy ghost is inside the teapot? Do not worry.

Corallini is so thirsty she just crunches the entire teapot instead of waiting for her teacup. Oops, I guess we have nothing left for everyone else.

Golurk live in dry ancient castle, and Corallini is here to flood the temple. She took some recoil, but dismantling the ancient robot is more important.

Sorry, Gothitelle, but we gotta go. It was fun watching the stars with you, and I hope you enjoy Corallini's Crunch as well as Quadrefiore's Hurricane.

Rustiche was too weak to participate in battles, but it gained enough experience just from watching to evolve into a Metang! Zoom zoom!

Finally, Rustiche knows more than just Tackle. I think now is the time to test out its magnetic strength.

Rustiche loves pursuing after Steel-type Pokemon, which is why it found a Bastiodon and a Magneton to fight. Well, I'm glad Radiatori is help us out.

After Radiatori gave our opponents a heated roast, Rustiche can easily pick things up with its Bullet Punch! It has some surprisingly good muscle strength.

Oops, did I interrupt something? I just wasn't expecting to see someone sleep in an outdoor classroom.

Rustiche is cute as a Metang, but it's about time it evolves into a Metagross. I was terrified to see its mouth on its stomach, but I suppose that can be quite convenient in outdoor picnics.

Hmm, I don't think Rustiche is supposed to stay in its X-form in battle, but ok, whatever floats your magnetic boat.

I'm back to the Canyon Plaza already. This is where Amarys of the Elite Four resides in, but I'm not quite ready for her.

Remember when Leif shows me the way over a forest? I think I'll need to go back there for more investigations.

Yup, important investigations such as watching this Minccino eat its berry.

Miraidon hopped its way up the mountain, and suddenly, no more greeneries around. This place looks disturbingly barren.

I carefully navigate my way through without being cut by these sharp augites until I found one of those ancient Scyther.

According to the Pokedex, Kleavor can only be evolved from Scyther that only eats black gemstones. You know what, I'm not trying that one out.

I have enough of those black minerals, how about we just fly our way to the next set of stony cliffs?

Finally, I found the battle counselor after having several trainers defeated already. I got a TM for Skitter Smack, and I'm sad it has nothing to do with Skittles.

This capoeira dancer tries to scare us with its dance moves, but Rustiche is a cold and heartless monster that does not give a crap.

Meanwhile, Pansotti didn't even see Hitmontop's dance move, and of course, he isn't scared at all.

If you're about physical strengths of well-defined muscles, let me show you Rustiche's four mighty Hammer Arms.

Now that I've found the battle counselor, I need to find more trainers to battle, even if it means I need to go on tall cliffs.

Something about Ferrazzuoli staring into the ocean at the top of a mountain just feels so right. Now, don't jump, darling.

Woah! I wasn't expecting to run into anyone, but hey, fancy a mountain-high picnic?

League Trainers: Canyon Biome (1)

There are not many trainers left in the Canyon Biome, so I'll start by battling this League Club member in the cavern.

Oh, another Hitmontop? This time with a kickbox along it? Well, this seems like a perfect battle for my Psychic-type Pokemon.

Fettuccine doesn't always go for attacks, but when it does, it can catch its opponents with a nasty surprise.

Honestly, we're just waiting for Linguine to cast his Expanding Force on everyone in this cave. Boom.

Another Scarfty? Well, this one is a little ruffian, but I'm still not too afraid.

Linguine's Expanding Force won't be expanding on Scrafty, but that's okay. We have more tricks up our sleeves.

Even if Scarfty gains some health from its Sitrus Berry, it is still in a 1-on-2 situation. It's looking good for us.

Poof. One more Play Rough from Fettuccine ought to do the trick. I told you Fettuccine can go all-out with its attack if it wants to.

If you want something romantic, how about just give me a box of strawberry chocolate?

League Trainers: Canyon Biome (2)

Wait, I just need to beat one Elite Four member to become an Elite Four. Not that I care, since I just want to be the Lunch Club president.

Let's see how our psychic twins, Linguine and Fettuccine, fare against a freaking spider and a freaking stapler.

If you want an Air Balloon, you can look at Fettuccine's puffy face.

I really don't like it when big spiders throw their webs at my face, because that means it is treating us like its dinner!

Linguine already turned the rocky floor into his home field, so we might as well just go all-out with his Expanding Force.

Balloons are indeed weak to expansion, which means Duraludon can no longer float. Not that I care.

I don't trust what Galvantula might do, so I need Fettuccine to protect the team with a good ol' Light Screen.

Duraludon paralyzed Linguine with Thunder Wave, which is quite underwhelming to me. I don't know what I was expecting it to do, like turn into a skyscraper or something?

Yikes! Galvantula bugged us off with a Struggle Bug on both of my Pokemon, but the worst part is the Special Attack drop on Linguine.

Hey, Fettuccine's Play Rough doesn't only work on wrestlers and ruffians. It can be quite effective on spiders as well.

That was unfortunate. Fettuccine also got paralyzed by Thunder Wave, and I don't have Lum Berries ready for it.

Linguine went with his Expanding Force again on Duraludon, but it is durable enough to take another hit. You just can't bend metals with psychic powers.

Oh, come on. I got rid of the struggling bug, but now Duraludon is snarling at us, which does the same thing as Struggle Bug anyway.

At least Linguine's Colbur Berry lowered the damage he took from Snarl. We need to protect his ears.

I'm glad Play Rough isn't affected by Struggle Bug or Snarl, which allows Fettuccine to take care of the metal stapler with brute force.

By the way, Golem with a stache is our next opponent. I guess-a it's the perfect Pokemon to face for our Italian team.

Hey, where did you get that Sitrus Berry from? There are no trees around here.

Oops, maybe I shouldn't have made Golem mad, 'cause it is now using Stone Edge to slice through Fettuccine's balloon body.

Oh no, why do I feel like I always run into these sea dragons? I said I don't need any herbal medicine.

Ouch. Kingdra just entered the field, and it's already causing so much damage with its Muddy Water. BLURP.

Oh, of course, just like the last one we saw, this Kingdra is also holding a Life Orb. They just never like staying healthy.

Some of the mud got into Linguine's eyes, and he now couldn't see Kingdra so well while casting his Expanding Force. Not expansive enough, eh?

Well, Fettuccine tried already, but this rock-and-water combo is just too much to handle.

No more Light Screen for us, which means Kingdra's attacks will do even more now. I don't like that.

And we lost our precious Psychic Terrain. Time to go back to the normies terrain.

Darn it! Pappardelle's heels got tangled in the Sticky Web. Now she is distracted and can't focus in the battle.

I thought we aren't going to the Polar Biome yet, so why do I feel a sudden breeze down Bigoli's tree spine?

Pappardelle might be a little slower by usual, but she still has enough to unleash her Dazzling Gleam to bring down Kingdra. One more trainer defeated!

Skarmory looks like it is made of electrical conductors, so Fettuccine can easily send some Thunder Wave onto its wings.

OUCH! Rampardos just ran right into Linguine's flimsy body with a charged Head Smash. No way he could possibly take that hit!

Well, I'd imagine bashing your head on random butlers will hurt yourself a lot. Maybe don't do this next time, ok?

Skarmory is a spiky metal bird and is now making our side of the field spiky as well. This is like turning Fettuccine into a durian.

I would've thought Rustiche's metal body won't mind stepping on the Spikes, but I guess not. I think it will still be fine though.

Let's hope that Electivire won't slam us with a Head Smash. Instead, Fettuccine will be using Play Rough before it can do anything nasty.

Supercell Slam? At least that is friendlier than Rock Head Slam. Fettuccine can eat one of those.

Rustiche misses its moves. I would've thought a supercomputer has a better aiming than this, but it's fine. Just don't go missing again, darling.

Skarmory stays healthy by using Roost. Ok, you are one of THOSE Pokemon, aren't you?

Taking down Skarmory is going to take time, so I'll focus on Electivire first, unless it helps us charge up our cooker.

Electivire used Trailblaze on Fettuccine and became faster. Weird, 'cause there is no grass here to cut.

See? Rustiche did great with its second attempt of Zen Headubtt on Electivire, thanks to the Psychic Terrain boost.

Wait what? Fettuccine is doing so well, why are you blowing a Whirlwind on it? You're gonna mess its hair up!

Hmm, Bigoli was dragged out against his will. Even without studying the Pokedex, one should know that coconut trees don't like seeing metal birds.

Actually, forget about the metal bird. Scyther came in and pounced on Bigoli. Poor baby didn't even get a chance to fry his eggs.

Scyther is definitely the big problem, as it can easily shatter Rustiche's glass. How about we give it a Meteor Mash for some out-of-world experience?

I'm glad Skarmory can't move from its paralysis. Where's your Roost now?

I think Gnocci has the best chance of taking care of this stinky bug, so I sent him out. Instead, he got bopped by some Aerial Ace.

Rustiche, come on. You have moved three turns, and you've missed two shots. The math isn't mathing.

Gnocci is here to make things right, and his Zen Headbutt will end Scyther's scything actions.

You know what? I don't need someone who misses their attacks all the time. Let's see if Caccavelle is better at this. For starters, she stepped on the Spikes and felt nothing.

We are deep inside a cave right now, but Caccavelle still managed to crash Skarmory with a Thunder. Now, this is magic.

Oh, what? Skarmory got a Sitrus Berry ready. I suppose that's what you expect flying bird to do.

Time to turn Skarmory into a rusty bird by using Liquidation on its beak. It gave Skarmory an electric shock since it also got Thundered.

Gosh darn it. Caccavelle was doing so well with her one turn, and now she's gone. Fettuccine, on the other hand, is allergic to metal, so that's bad.

Ok, finally Gnocci gets his Quick Draw going. Probably doesn't matter, but it makes this battle go a tad bit faster. Goodbye, Skarmory.
