My Worst Nightmares

Last time, I went on a hike and reached Montenevera, a town built on Glaseado Mountain.

This place gives me the chill and I don't think it's because of the cold weather.

A Covert Cloak? Haha, I'm sure someone dropped this, and this is not a haunted item. Right?

I don't like the creepy atmosphere in this town. I think I'll need some food to calm myself down.

Maybe cold food isn't a great idea right now, but this Hail Set Four-Piece Sushi is one of the best I've ever had.

There aren't too many restaurants around town, but an Avocado Sandwich from Every Wich Way cannot hurt.

Speaking of sandwiches, the Deli Cioso here has some great sandwich ingredients. Great for meat lovers like me!

There is no place for great food here. It's like my worst nightmare coming true.

All there's left in town is the Gym, and I think that might as well be the warmest place in this town.

And of course, I was stopped by Nemona the moment I walked in. That's like my second worst nightmare coming true.

Nemona was explaining why she couldn't battle me last time, and I was trying my best to tell her I don't mind at all.

How about no? I really enjoying not having to battle you last time, and I would love to enjoy that again.

What do you mean ONLY four? That's like the same number of desserts I allow myself to eat each day.

Nemona's gonna battle me after I beat the Gym. Suddenly, I don't feel like beating the Gym.

I can use some warming up, too. I hope this means I just need to make some appetizers and that's it.

Wait, the warmup is just more Pokemon battles? And what's this about Double Battles?

I've never tried Double Battles before, and something tells me I won't like them as much as double burgers.

Well, there aren't anything else here for me to do, so I must as well help out.

These people don't bring hotdogs to a concert? I don't know how to feel about them.

Well, I hope that Double Battles are just a Single Battle next to another Single Battle.

Let's see how Ferrazzuoli and Farfalle work as a pair!

Farfalle sliced through Greavard with his Night Slash. Poor doggo. I'd love to hug you but now is not the time.

Ferrazzuoli slammed Shuppet with a Psyshield Bash, but that wasn't quite enough for a KO.

At least Ferrazzuoli got beefier after using that move. I don't know how it works, 'cause the Pokedex doesn't include this move either.

Role Play? Are you some sort of doppelganger? That's like my third worst nightmare.

Shuppet is now sharp. I guess it turned into a true paper doll?

I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm glad the audience is enjoying it.

The audience's cheer gave Ferrazzuoli and Farfalle extra attacking power. I guess they really enjoy the attention.

Shuppet pulled a Sucker Punch on Ferrazzuoli when he was still thinking about the cheering. He didn't see that coming!

Even if Shuppet copied Farfalle's Sharpness, Farfalle still has the sharpest Leaf Blade on the field.

So far, Double Battles don't feel very different from two single battles, but I'm sure it'll not stay this way.

I thought these people come here for the music, but they are getting excited for Pokemon battles. Weird.

Stellar Performance

There are strategies behind putting two Pokemon together as a team, but I'm too tired to think about that right now.

I wasn't given time to change my team, so I'll still be leading with these two.

This time Haunter and Misdreavus are on the opposite side, and they are certainly much eerier than my opponents last time.

It doesn't matter, 'cause Farfalle's Night Slash is always effective against these creepy pastas.

And Ferrazzuoli knocked Haunter out with Psyshield Bash! He doesn't even need a Defense boost this time.

Ferrazzuoli is glowing with psychic energy ever since his magical transformation. This time he wants to learn Zen Headbutt, and of course that's a good idea.

The audience is getting louder and louder. Honestly, that makes me a little anxious.

And my final opponent is the MC himself! What a plot twist.

Mc Sledge has a Drifblim and Sableye. I've battled enough Sableye to know that they are bad news.

Ferrazzuoli was getting tired, so it's Cavatelli's turn.

Farfalle's Night Slash is still strong enough to pop a balloon!

But Farfalle accidentally hurt himself in the process! You always have to be careful around explosives!

Sableye scratched Farfalle with its Shadow Claw. It almost hurt as bad as getting sliced by Farfalle's sword!

The audience really liked my move selection and gave my Pokemon attack boosts again.

Farfalle went for Night Slash on Sableye. It wasn't a super effective hit, but he landed on Sableye's weak spot!

Stelline evolved into a bigger Stelline! This time she got an even fancier dress!

Gothitelle is capable of predicting the future, and somehow she's not looking at me happily.

The three-part warm up is all done, and the audience is at maximum excitement.

I passed the Gym Test and successfully excited the audience.

And it's now time for the main show. Who's the star performing here?

Ryme the famous rapper is here to perform, and she's actually the Gym Leader of the town, too!

Stelline got stronger after her evolution, and I think she might be able to help us out in this upcoming Gym battle.

Ryme has started her performance! I wish I can just stay in the audience, but I'm actually here for her Gym Badge.

The Gym Test didn't give me much trouble. Let's hope for the same in the actual Gym Battle!

Bury the Dead

Last time, I cleared the Montenevera Gym Test after clearing all the food in town.

I helped Ryme open her concert, and now's time for her main performance.

A pro cashier challenged Ryme to a rap battle. He's gonna pay the price, and there's no room to haggle.

Ryme dissed him in front of everyone. Pro cashier needs to do something not to be outdone.

Ryme is a professional rapper with millions of albums sold. Some of them are even certified gold.

Beating cashier boy is a cakewalk. Time to post their rap battle on JoltikTok.

Hold on, Ryme seems to be having a bad time. I might need to do something to cheer up Ryme.

I'm no good at rapping, so let's drop the rhyming! I know what you're here for: some Pokemon battling!

Just like the battles I had in the opening, the Gym battle with Ryme is also in the form of Double Battle.

This time Ferrazzuoli and Cavatelli will be the ones in lead, and it seems like they'll be fighting Mimikyu and Banette.

Oh I almost forgot. There are many people watching us right now, and that makes me quite nervous.

Banette looks like a regular Poke Doll, which is why Cavatelli got caught off guard when it suddenly starts moving!

Mimikyu set up a Light Screen on the opposing side, as if the stage isn't bright enough already!

Cavatelli heats up the stage with some Heat Wave, which seems to hit both targets.

But Mimikyu's head absorbed the damage, and it broke! As if it isn't spooky enough!

Ferrazzuoli bashed Mimikyu with his psychic shield, but he didn't do much damage.

The more important part is that Ferrazzuoli gained some Defense from using that move. I hope this'll come in handy.

Oh snap! The audience liked what Ryme was doing and gave her Pokemon accuracy boost! I guess I'll have to please the crowd while also having to focus on battling.

Banette went for Sucker Punch again, and this time Ferrazzuoli is the one getting slapped. Rude.

With a creepy smile drawn on the face, it shouldn't be too surprising to see that Mimikyu is a merciless slasher.

These creepy dolls are giving me chills, and Cavatelli's Heat Wave is all I need.

Ferrazzuoli learned Zen Headbutt last time, and this is a great opportunity to try the move out! It was enough to send Banette back to the underworld!

Ryme sent in Houndstone next. That's one of those dead dogs I saw!

I think I'm doing fine so far, since I've already defeated one of Ryme's Pokemon. And the audience is liking it.

The crowd cheering us up gave Ferrazzuoli and Cavatelli boosts in their attacking stats!

Raising the Dead

Mimikyu went for Slash on Ferrazzuoli again. Is it trying to make some creamy pasta?

Houndstone used Phantom Force by vanishing into the darkness! Where did it go?

Cavatelli's Heat Wave is powerful, but it can't chase Houdstone down when it's nowhere to be seen!

At least that was enough to burn Mimikyu and its broken rag. Another Pokemon down!

Houndstone is still gone, and there's nothing Ferrazzuoli can do about it.

Ryme sent in Toxtricity next. I've seen that Pokemon before. People are always listening to its music on Spindafy.

Ryme is down to her final two Pokemon while I still have my full team. Let's see if I can finish them quickly!

This time, the audience gave my Pokemon Speed boosts! But I'm not really a fast eater, am I?

The final songs of a concert are always the climax, and Ryme's pumping up the volume for the whole town.

The gravestones hidden in the snowfield are actually Houndstone, and they wake up just to listen to Ryme's music!

And the DJ of the stage is a little Greavard! Perfect for a romantic dinner, if you ask me.

Ryme Terastallized her Toxtricity to a Ghost-type! I guess punk rock is officially dead now.

Cavatelli used Heat Wave again, and of course, he can't quite aim for Houndstone while it's still missing.

Ferrazzuoli wanted to slam Houndstone, but he couldn't either! This dog is not coming, is it?

Ryme hitting a high note with her move, and her Toxtricity is unleashing a powerful Hex!

Cavatelli might be a brave soldier in battle, but he is not a professional ghostbuster. He tried his best, but his time is up.

Houndstone is finally coming back from the shadow realm, and its Phantom Force did nothing to Ferrazzuoli.

Farfalle, I trust you! Don't let me down!

The audience really liked seeing Terastallization in action, and they're cheering even louder for Ryme.

Their cheering gave Houndstone stat boosts in ... everything? What on earth!

And Toxtricity, too? How am I supposed to fight two jacked up Pokemon at the same time?

Toxtricity released its powered-up Discharge and hit everyone on the stage, including its ally.

Ferrazzuoli has been doing so well this battle, but now's time for him to take a rest.

And Houndstone is going back to the dark space again! Is it playing hide-and-seek?

Farfalle can't use Night Slash on Houndstone, since it's gone again! This is so annoying!

At least the opposing Light Screen has faded, and that should help my Pokemon pump up their damage.

They Are All Dead

I've chosen Ravioli to be the next one! I know she isn't afraid of stinky ghosts!

I'm not doing so hot, and the audience continues to cheer for Ryme. This time, her Pokemon get accuracy boosts.

Toxtricity's Hex is bringing so much bad luck on our side, and this time it removed Farfalle in one hit!

Houndstone is coming back to reality, and the reality is always harsh as it did no damage to Ravioli.

Houndstone got crunchy bones, and that is the perfect thing for Ravioli to crunch on.

I don't have that many Pokemon left, and my next hope is Stelline.

Landing that Crunch on Houndstone hyped up the audience. They should watch my mukbangs instead then.

Ravioli and Stelline received boosts in their offenses. We need to go all-out now before it's too late!

Toxtricity's Hex was enough to knock Stelline out in one hit. Do you think she saw this in her future reading?

And of course, Houndstone is bouncing between phantom dimension and the real world.

Ravioli aimed for Toxtricity with her Crunch this time, and that weakened the rockstar significantly!

Farfalline and Ravioli are my final two Pokemon left. They have to make it or else I'll lose this battle!

The audience is still a bigger fan of Ryme's rap. Her Pokemon get another set of Speed boosts!

Toxtricity went for Hex on Farfalline, and she's hanging on with the tiniest amount of health!

That didn't matter, since Houndstone's Phantom Force was enough to knock her out. I'm down to Ravioli only!

Ravioli crunched Toxtricity to death and shattered its ghost balloon! Ryme's down to her final Pokemon!

It's a final showdown between Ravioli and Houndstone. This feels like a single battle all of a sudden.

Ouch! Houndstone crunched on Ravioli and that did so much damage! Come on, Ravioli!

Ravioli lashed back with a Crunch as well, and Houndstone was barely hanging on!

But Houndstone got the upper hand with its higher speed! Ravioli lost in this crunching battle!

With Ravioli gone as well, all of my Pokemon fainted. That's an L for me.

Ryme's Pokemon so strong my Pokemon all dead. Maybe I should've chosen a rap battle instead!

Relive the Dead

Last time I challenged Ryme to a Gym battle and lost! I've not felt the taste of defeat in so long!

Naturally, the first thing I did afterwards is to challenge Ryme again. I might be getting addicted to Pokemon battling.

This time I can't get distracted by Ryme's music. I must hog the spotlight and steal her show!

I switched back to leading with Ferrazzuoli and Farfalle. I'm sure the creepy dolls won't like how intimidating Ferrazzuoli is.

Banette sneaked its way through and struck Farfalle. Farfalle is a fair fighter and doesn't like sneaky plays!

For a dark Pokemon whose body only stays in darkness, Mimikyu sure likes using Light Screen.

It's nighttime, and Farfalle is here to slash on random ghosts he finds! Banette gone!

Ferrazzuoli missed Mimikyu with his move. Perhaps the stage lighting is getting too bright.

Uh-oh. The nightmare is back. Houndstone is on the field, and I still have bad memories with it.

The audience liked what I was doing, and my Pokemon received attack boosts from their cheer!

Creepy slasher is back! Mimikyu slashed Ferrazzuoli, and I hope his horns are still intact.

Farfalle used Night Slash and knocked Houndstone out. Easy and clean. Nothing to worry about now!

Ferrazzuoli's Psyshield Bash seemed to do no damage to Mimikyu, but his Defense did boost.

I've seen this happen a few times now, but Mimikyu breaking its neck is still so creepy to me. Just no.

Ryme sent out her Toxtricity. She has no other Pokemon left, since that's her ace!

I think I'm doing fine, and the audience agreed. Ferrazzuoli and Farfalle received another set of stat boosts.

Just like last time, Ryme pumped the eeriness by Terastallizing her Toxtricity into a Ghost-type. Isn't that just murdering your Pokemon?

Mimikyu went for Shadow Sneak on Farfalle. He's barely hanging on, and that worries me.

Let's not let that get in my mind! Time for Farfalle to slice through Toxtricity with Night Slash!

Sorry, but your show is over. Maybe the audience will want an ecnore but not right now.

Ryme has too many fans in the crowd! They are cheering for her to get an accuracy boost.

Mimikyu went for Shadow Sneak on Farfalle again, and this time, it was enough to send Farfalle to the shadow realm.

Ferrazzuoli slammed Mimikyu with Zen Headbutt. Except Mimikyu got two heads there, and they are probably Zen as well.

I think I have this in the bag, but I don't want to risk anything. Let's send Lotty out to clean things up.

The audience is still cheering for Ryme! It's making me anxious, and it's awful.

Mimikyu is still slashing Ferrazzuoli, and I don't even want to find out what it uses to slash.

No reason to play fair against a creepy ghost doll like that. Lotty knocked Mimikyu out with a Foul Play!

I did it! Fighting Ghost-type Pokemon is rough, but I manage to tough it out!

Ryme's so cool she let me watch her concert for free after handing me her Gym Badge! Maybe next time she'll gift me an album?

I think Maltagliati will finally listen to me. I've not even tried to use him in battles, and that is making me excited.

Ryme even gave me a TM for Shadow Ball. I don't like Ghost-type Pokemon, but Ghost-type moves are fine.

Ms. Geeta was not who I expected to run into after having that Gym battle. She was probably when I got defeated by Ryme last time, too!

Ms. Geeta was talking about something of the Pokemon League, but our conversation was cut short.

'Cause Nemona has been waiting for me this whole time! Am I getting cornered?

Nemona was really surprised to see Ms. Geeta here. Is she someone that important?

Nemona told me Ms. Geeta is the Top Champion! That must mean she's super strong, even stronger than Nemona.

I don't like how Ms. Geeta is making me seem like a good Pokemon trainer. That's just gonna make Nemona want to battle me more.

I guess I did promise Nemona I'll battle her after I'm done with the Gym, but I didn't expect spectators!

Is it too late now to change my decision? Can we clear the audience first?

Well, if Ms. Geeta and Nemona share one similarity, it's that neither of them listens to my opinions. Great.

Tera Blasted

Last time I enjoyed a free Ryme concert after finally beating her in a Gym Battle.

I agreed to fight Nemona after I finished clearing the Montenevera Gym, so here I am.

Nemona reminded me how to achieve the Champion rank, and I realized I'm getting closer and closer.

All I need to do is to go to the Pokemon League after collecting eight Gym Badges. I already have five of those.

Of course, there's still more after that, so maybe I'm not actually that close to being a Champion. Nemona's just thinking too much.

And honestly, I still don't like having battles back-to-back. They are so tiring, and I don't have time to eat my snacks.

You know, maybe I should invite Nemona to a fruit buffet next time. I think she'll enjoy that.

I am having a Pokemon battle with Nemona ... for the I-don't-know-how-many times!

It started with a showdown between Ferrazzuoli and Lycanroc! Didn't she have a little puppy?

Lycanroc bit Ferrazzuoli and I don't like that. Getting bitten by an adorable pup and by an aggressive wolf are pretty different.

Ferrazzuoli slammed Lycanroc with a Psyshield Bash, but he didn't do that much damage.

His actual goal was to gain a Defense boost from his Psyshield! Aren't Psychic-type moves just amazing?

I don't like how Lycanroc is treating Ferrazzuoli as some kinds of food. Stop biting him!

Ferrazzuoli went for Zen Headbutt, and Lycanroc barely survived that. Maybe headbutting a wolf wasn't a great idea.

A playful bite is okay, but three is a little too much.

Another Zen Headbutt and Lycanroc lost its head ... ? Okay, maybe that one was a little too dark.

Goomy is a cute little gooey-slug-dragon-thingy. A little too squishy though, since it got crushed in one hit.

Nemona sent out Pawmo next, which hit Ferrazzuoli with a Spark. The only spark I allow here is sparkling water.

Ferrazzuoli took revenge with a Psyshield Bash, but actually I've never actually seen him create a shield from that.

Nemona was really happy about my move choice. Shouldn't she feel sad, since she is losing Pokemon?

Nemona sent out her last Pokemon, which is her freshly evolved grass cat, Meowscarada!

A good way to decorate your dishes is to add a flower next to the food. That always make me hungry.

Meowscarada performed a Flower Trick on Ferrazzuoli and landed a critical hit! I don't like how sly it is!

Well, if there's one thing I know about grass cats, it's that they don't like getting burned by fire. I mean, me neither, but still.

Meowscarada used Flower Trick again, but Cavatelli didn't care! His auspicious armor gave him all the protection he needs!

This place is still freezing cold even with all the ghost dogs gone, let's take a Heat Wave to warm things up.

Meowscarada's glass flower was shattered! No more dirty tricks allowed here!

I defeated Nemona again! Honestly, I still can't believe it, but I've been doing great.

Hmm. I doubt people will pay attention to me, though. It's not like I post updates on my Treasure Hunt on online forums.

Ms. Geeta seems to be impressed my performance, too. Now that I know she's an important person, that kinda makes me nervous.

Nemona seems even more certain I'll be a Champion-ranked trainer one day. Maybe she's right?

I mean, I'm touring around to find delicious food, and I might as well visit the Gyms I find.

Ms. Geeta gifted me a TM for Tera Blast! That's what Cavatelli did to Nemona's Meowscarada.

Nemona's gonna ... do more training. Even if I become a Champion-ranked trainer, I'm sure I won't be as battle-crazy as her.

Ms. Geeta talked to me for a little after Nemona left. She also noticed Nemona getting more excited than usual. What does she really want from me?

A lot has happened today, and I still can't take everything in.

Culinary Arts Lover (Zero Gameplay)

Last time I beat Nemona while Ms. Geeta was spectating. They insist I have potential to be a Champion, but I have my doubts.

After taking on a Gym, the next thing to do is to take on another Home Ec lesson.

This is our first Home Ec lesson after the midterm exam. We should have plenty of time before the final exam.

This lesson is about Meal Powers! I know all of them; delicious meals give me the powers to everything I need!

Someone interested in culinary arts asked Mr. Saguaro about Meal Powers. I need to find out who this student is! I think we'll get along really well!

Mr. Saguaro acknowledged my performance on the midterm exam! It's like my dreams come true!

Making food more often is a great idea, but we should always make food with others to share the joy!

Using different ingredients will result in different Meal Powers! If I use salty meat, I'll get sleepier; if I use spicy peppers, I'll get diarrhea!

Oh, I've never actually prepared sandwiches with others. Apparently, you get a larger base to make on! Awesome!

Working with others to solve difficult issues? But that would require talking to other people.

Wait, that curious student was Arven all along? Duh, I knew he's into culinary arts.

Home Ec lessons with Mr. Saguaro are always so enjoyable. They're the only times I come back to school.

I wanted to know more about Meal Powers, so I went to the Staff Room to find Mr. Saguaro.

I was surprised to hear that Mr. Saguaro has something to ask me instead! Of course I'd like to help!

Mr. Saguaro told me he's into sweet food. This time, he mentions he's searching for an incredibly sweet condiment!

I'll be helping Mr. Saguaro with his sweet condiment hunt! Meanwhile, I'll have to go do something else and give him time to do research.

Montenevera is only a small part of Glaseado Mountain. There're still so much to see in the mountain.

This place is still so cold, though. And I'm sure it's only gonna get worse from here on out.

Let's pop some Lemonade before setting out. Tartness is always a great way to start the day.

Back to Glaseado Mountain, but I'm heading downhill this time!

It took a while, but Orecchiette eventually thawed out. I must be careful if I don't want to get mauled by some yeti monster.

Air Slash is also a scary move that can make opponents flinch! What a great move that is!

Campanelle is already very metallic and defensive, so Iron Defense doesn't seem too necesssary.

A mirror match between Farfalline and another Gardevoir! Who's the prettier one?

Aktually I have five, so I'm the better one.

Cappelletti has been missing out on some battling actions. Your Pawmot seems like a great target to bring her back.

Pawmot tried to push Cappelletti off the cliff with Arm Thrust! Luckily, Cappelletti managed to grasp the ground with her braids!

Take some Psybeam, you dingus. Cappelletti doesn't like it when other Pokemon mess with her hair.

That serves you right! Pawmot knocked itself out in confusion!

I thought I picked up a rice ball, but it was actually just a snowball. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement.

Ouch! Did I just get hit by a snowflake? We need a hailstorm warning here!

Who knew snowflakes are so pointy they can Night Slash my pig? Time to get my antifreeze out.

Is that Gym really just sitting here in the middle of nowhere? I was expecting it to be in some big cities.

I guess this place contains nothing other than a Pokemon Center and a Gym. It's like a sandwich with nothing but lettuce inside.

I defeated quite a few trainers on my way! I deserve to get a reward -

I guess this is the battlefield they use for the Gym. Definitely not as impressive as a stage hidden in a restaurant.

I should keep that in mind. I think Spirali will be a great Pokemon to use against Ice-type Pokemon.

The first step to bulking up is high protein intake. I guess that means we'll be having eggs and pork tonight.

A Spiritomb. I still remember this Pokemon. It was a pain to deal with.

Case in point, Spiritomb just sent Cappelletti to her tomb. I guess its grudge is too much for her to handle.

The best way to fight sinister Pokemon is to be sinister yourself. Conchiglie's Nasty Plot will hopefully bring us to victory.

This is the second time a wild Pokemon fainted from using Memento today. It's weird it has happened twice, but I'll take it.

I'm surprised this Liquidation TM hasn't turned into an Icicle Crash in this snowstorm.

This Sunny Day TM sure hasn't been helpful if it has been left here in this snowy hill. I'll keep it though, in case this snowstorm is getting any worse.

I don't want to run into more Spiritomb or other chilly ghosts, so I just head back to the Gym.

I expected to get interrupted when I entered the Gym, but not by Mr. Jacq of all people.

This Treasure Hunt has seen some ups and downs, but I enjoy hunting down restaurants and diners from all kinds of towns.

I'm glad Mr. Jacq didn't ask anything about my Biology homework. I don't mind talking about Home Ec lessons, though.

A Lucky Egg? I can't make egg scrambles from that, but it definitely looks like a useful item.

After Mr. Jacq left, I signed up at the reception for the Gym Test. This time I need to a Snow Slope Run.

I've only seen people do this on JoltikTok before, and this is my first time doing a Snow Slope Run myself.

I'm not as good as a professional athlete, but this time record should be enough to pass the Gym Test.

Ice Cream Buffet

Last time I found another Gym located on the Glaseado Mountain and completed the Gym Test by sliding with Miraidon.

The only thing left is to actually challenge the Gym Leader, Grusha.

Hello there, are you Grusha? You look like you can beat me in an eating contest.

Oh, never mind. Grusha is actually a human. A snowboarder, for that matter. Is that why he sets up his Gym in the middle of nowhere?

If you ask me, Pokemon battles are always dangerous. Unlike eating, which is usually safe.

Grusha seems to be in a bad mood today, maybe I should just leave him alone. I'll find something else to do.

Actually I'm not that type of trainer. Maybe you've mistaken me with another Uva Academy student girl?

Grusha's not going back, so let's taste the icy bite of reality like a chocolate ice cream.

Grusha seems like a tough trainer, and I'm already overwhelmed. I'll just have to hope for the best.

Grusha led his team with a Frosmoth, which immediately set up a Tailwind on their team. Can't say I like seeing a moth right now.

Well, it isn't just a Tailwind, but it's also a Heat Wave! Frosmoth couldn't stand the heat and bit the dust!

I wasn't told there would be polar bears involved! Cavatelli just got hit by an Earthquake, and I think there might be an avalanche incoming.

Luckily, Cavatelli managed to eat his emergency Figy Berry and recover some health. That's why you always put food in your pockets!

Cavatelli casted a Heat Wave and melted Beartic's snowy fur away! Now it's just a regular bear!

Beartic hit Cavatelli with another Earthquake. His protective armor isn't so effective when grounds are breaking from underneath!

Suddenly, the temperature around here just took a dive.

Conchiglie's up next, 'cause I know he doesn't mind the cold! He could probably use some pants, though.

Conchiglie was also struck by Beartic's Earthquake! At this point, the Gym is gonna collapse.

Conchiglie's scheming something malicious. I don't care as long as he doesn't steal my dinner.

Conchiglie has brought some Leftovers to the battle. That's why he's the smartest one around town.

The opposing Tailwind is gone. That hopefully slows Beartic down a little.

Beartic went with Earthquake again, and Conchiglie barely survived! His Leftovers really saved his life!

The gemstone on Conchiglie's crown doesn't just look pretty. It is also effective in hunting bears!

Cetitan? Where did the adorable Cetoddle go?

Conchiglie needed some time to rest, so he set up a Protect screen to do so.

Thanks to Protect, Conchiglie didn't take damage from Cetitan's Ice Shard and got to eat his Leftovers for another turn.

It didn't actually matter, though, since Cetitan just finished Conchiglie off with a critical Ice Spinner. Was that necessary?

Spirali is ready to go next. Pigs don't like snowy weather, but Spirali is special, ok?

Cetitan threw some Ice Shards at Spirali, but they got bounced back by his Thick Fat!

It's getting dark here, so Spirali just lit things up with a Flash Cannon. Consider your day brightened.

Can you please stop with the critical hits? It's a little bit rude.

Spirali went for Flash Cannon again, and this time it did more to Cetitan. Way to go.

Cetitan is made of solid snow, but it is capable of Liquidation. Spirali doesn't like that, 'cause he doesn't know how to swim.

That was the perfect timing for Spirali to eat his favorite snack, Iapapa Berries. That's also how he builds up his Thick Fat.

Spirali went with another Flash Cannon, but it didn't quite knock Cetitan out! He's getting so close!

Cetitan decided to use Ice Spinner this time, but Spirali still managed to eat up the cold.

Spirali shot Cetitan with some Psybeam and sent Cetitan back to its snowy hideout. Grusha has just one Pokemon left!

Shaved Ice

Grusha sent out his final Pokemon, Altraia. Judging his expression, he doesn't take things kindly. I might be in danger.

Altaria has wings that look like fluffy snow, and Grusha just turned them into actual snow. The power of Terastallization.

Fighting blizzards in this mountain was annoying enough, and now there are Hurricanes?

If you like playing with wind so much, how about some Icy Wind?

Altaria doesn't mind taking Icy Wind, since it is now an Ice-type, but it still got its Speed dropped by that.

Flash Cannon worked great against Cetitan, so I figure it might work well against Altaria, too.

Grusha is getting desperate, and he's now pulling off a big hit with his Altaria.

Spirali did so well already, but even the thickest fat wouldn't save him from a powered-up Ice Beam.

Casunziei didn't obey me last time I used him in a Gym Battle, but I'm sure he will be happy to help in this scenario.

Casunziei threw some gem pebbles at Altaria's face, which is quite effective at breaking its icy crown.

Altaria lashed out with a Hurricane. Casunziei is a lightweight and almost got blown off the hill.

Casunziei went with Power Gem again, and he was so close in knocking Altaria out.

Casunziei couldn't stand the cold and fell to a mighty Ice Beam. At least he did so much damage before going down.

Altaria is really weakened already, and Campanelle is here to clean things up.

Campanelle is so heavy it won't be blown away by Hurricane! All you can here is just a ringing bell.

Grusha is probably used to playing with snowballs, but Campanelle is here to wreak havoc with Gyro Balls.

With Altaria gone as well, I'm declared the victor of the Gym Battle! Good job, everybody.

You know what, I can really go for some shaved ice right now.

Grusha gave me my sixth Gym Badge. I think I'm getting the hang of these Gym Challenges.

He also gave me a TM for Ice Spinner. Would be helpful if I have an Ice-type Pokemon, but I don't.

Somehow, getting defeated only made Grusha friendlier. And now he's inviting me to come back, but this place is still too cold for me.

Mr. Hassel was waiting for me at the Gym. Turns out he has been spectating this match. Don't you feel cold?

Mr. Hassel thinks highly of my "battle strategies" and "artful training", except I just do whatever I feel like in Pokemon battles.

Mr. Hassel is now the third person who feels confident I can collect all the Gym Badges. Guess what, I'm actually just two away.

Oh, the art class, huh? Maybe I'll be busy taking Pokemon Gyms, haha.

I looked everywhere on my map, and I only found one remaining Gym. I guess that's where I'll be heading next.

Rolling Meatballs

Last time, I obtained my sixth Gym Badge by beating Grusha in an ice-cream eating contest!

Let's leave the cold behind us. I headed to the southern Paldea to find the next Gym. At this point, I might be able to grab all the Gym Badges.

The next Gym is far in the south. I think it might be up that mountain.

You know what, I think I remember this place. There were some dangerous Pokemon hiding in that tunnel.

I'm back to Alfornada Cavern, and this time I'm not getting swept by any stupid Dugtrio.

A wild Toxtricity? Is there a Ryme concert going on here? I'm low-key excited for that.

Ok, maybe not when my Pokemon get paralyzed by the power of rock music. Pappardelle is more of a dance-pop singer type anyways.

Speaking of Ryme, she gave me that Shadow Ball TM, and I think it's about time to use it. Pappardelle can use some new moves.

Casunziei also wants to shoot some Shadow Balls. I guess shadows do appear with the Sun most of the time.

Another Toxtricity performance? For free? This cavern is the perfect place for rock lovers.

Ok, they really can stop with all these paralyses. I don't have that many Cheri Berries in my bag.

Excuse me? Are you saying I won't be getting a feast dinner tonight? That's a hazy future.

Who's the better ball? A giant smirking Poke Ball, or Rotelle's mysterious brain ball?

Did I just witness an Electro Ball using Electro Ball? It's gonna cause a power outage!

The good thing about battling in a cave is that Rotelle can just grab some mud and shoot at Electrode's face.

I guess Electrode didn't take that kindly. It's now floating in air, and Rotelle can't aim his Mud Shot like that.

If you like floating in air so much, then maybe you'll enjoy Rotelle's telekinesis show with his Extrasensory power?

Hm, something tells me that Pokemon is gonna bite my entire party.

This cavern is so dark Pappardelle needs to light up everything with some Lumina Crash.

Argh! Is that a mini earthquake? Oh, never mind, Gabite is just trying to Bulldoze the entire cavern. No big deal.

I was right about the biting part. Pappardelle is no longer an egg, and I don't think she's on the menu anymore.

Casunziei, now's your showtime to demolish that hungry dragon.

Casunziei gave up his power of summoning the Sun and gained a stronger psychic power with Psychic.

Intimidating Opponents

Is that a Houndoom staring at me? I remember getting doomed by this thing from way back.

A dog that comes from Hell and comes with a ghostly balloon. This is like the scariest shit I've ever seen.

Casunziei was still in awe when he saw the scary Houndoom. He got caught off-guard by Sucker Punch then!

Luckily, he brought his emergency Wiki Berry with him. This is why you always fill you snack pockets.

Guess what? Ghosts are actually scared of shadows, and that Shadow Ball TM comes in real handy here.

Houndoom went with another Sucker Punch and knocked Casunziei out. Maybe he should not have forgotten Morning Sun after all.

Farfalle is the next one to fight the devil dog, and he got heavily damaged by Shadow Ball, too!

The correct way of handling the dog of death is by slicing it with some Night Slash.

Now that Houndoom's Tera-Ghost Jewel is gone. It is at least a little bit less scarier.

Destiny Bond? This thing clearly has a linkage to the underworld.

Farfalle chopped Houndoom again, but this time with his favorite Scared Sword. Houndoom stood no chance.

Houndoom went down, but Farfalle also went down due to Destiny Bond. I guess that's how most heroic stories go.

Ma'am, I was totally not riding any Pokemon. Miraidon isn't my Pokemon to begin with.

You call that thing a dragon? It looks more like a pansotti. So intimidating.

Corallini's tail is getting stronger and stronger. She can now cover it in a wave of water to hit her foes.

Rotelle is interested in swapping lunch boxes, but not swapping speeds.

There are wild Medicham around here? I guess this would be a great place to meditate.

Acupressure? Doesn't that help with my appetite if I get sick?

I have a Medicham myself, so I know it won't like getting slapped by Shadow Ball. Knowing is half the battle, after all.

My Belly is Roaring

Lady, I'm not sure how does the weather affect you if you just stay in this cave anyways?

*cough* Well, it is *cough* getting sandy now. *cough*

Maltagliati hasn't had much time to shine, so let's try his fillet cooking against this sand hippo.

Fillet Away cut Maltagliati's health, which left him susceptible to an incoming Earthquake. I'm quite certain this cavern is gonna collapse soon.

Rotelle is up next, 'cause he doesn't mind earthquakes that much. Though, he has to take Hippowdon's Take Down instead.

Rotelle asserts his mind control power with some Extrasensory. Hippowdon probably doesn't like it that much.

Then Rotelle should stick to his Extrasensory strategy. He's making slow but steady progress.

Never mind. Rotelle got sent away by Hippowdon's Roar. I guess the hippo really doesn't like Extrasensory.

Cappelletti was forced to battle. She's just a little girl, please treat her gently.

Cappelletti, I thought you are more of a dragon slayer instead of a Dragon Clawer, but ok.

Guys, remember that the secret to having good health is to make sure you get enough sleep.

This battle is taking some time, and I should come up with a good strategy. Let's calm our minds first.

At least the sandstorm is gone. It should be easier to see without sand in my eyes.

Since Hippowdon is still sleeping so soundly, Cappelletti took the opportunity for another Calm Mind.

Cappelletti shot Hippowdon with some Psybeam, which actually didn't do that much, but she managed to confuse it.

Ferrazzuoli was picked to be next, and he gave Hippowdon a good scary look.

Ferrazzuoli, I'm actually getting hungry from this fight. I need you to just go all-out with your Body Slam.

Another Earthquake. We need to get out of this cavern before the rocks start falling.

Ferrazzuoli showed Hippowdon how scary he is with a Zen Headbutt, but Hippowdon didn't flinch a bit.

(Hippowdon has such a good sleep schedule, and I'm kinda jealous ngl.)

Let's not mess around anymore. Farfalle just sliced through the sleeping hippo with a critical Leaf Blade.

We're still not done. Lycanroc's up next, and I hope it doesn't know how to Rest in battles.

Last time, I explored the dark cave of doom and managed to escape at the end.

Right when I left the cave, I got run over by a speeding Revavroom. Cappelletti, no!

Cappelletti flinched from that and honestly, I understand. Who would've expected to see a vehicle on the pedestrian's path.

Maybe Cappelletti is not the best Pokemon to face a poisonous vehicle. Let's see what Rotelle can do.

Revavroom screeched into Rotelle's ears ... Actually, does he even have ears?

Sir, there's mud in your Revavroom's wheels. Maybe you should have it checked before your next delivery.

Farfalle learns a new type of swordplay. By filling his blade with psychic power, he can use Psycho Cut.

Woah! There are wild Gothorita living here. This must be a great place for Psychic-type Pokemon to hangout.

Oops. Did someone drop their keychain on accident?

A Banette? Mabye this isn't actually a great place for Psychic-type Pokemon to be around.

Banette even fainted from using that move. Some Ghost-type Pokemon are so vengeful, and they creep me out.

Update on my attachment issue:
I've been trying to upload pictures for the last few days. I still run into an error message saying I've hit the maximum attachment limit. Things have gotten better with my highest record sitting at around 30 pictures without errors, but that is still much fewer than what I need. I am also unsure whether this maximum attachment limit is an intended constraint or an unexpected bug from the recent forum style update.
Unfortunately, real life has been a more challenging game than Pokemon Scarlet/Violet lately, and I think it's about time I officially take a small break from this thread. I'll see what I can do if the attachment problems are not resolved. Maybe I'll push some smaller updates in the future or maybe I'll just hope for the best. I do wish to continue posting Adige's adventure as soon as possible, since she got some great stuffs coming soon.

On a more positive note, today is the Mid-Autumn Festival. It isn't just a regular full moon night, as the moon supposedly looks the largest tonight. It is the festival where you get to eat delicious mooncakes and host a heartwarming family gathering. I wish you all a happy day, and I'll hopefully see you again soon.

Last time, Cappelletti evolved into Hatterene, I think. Somehow I don't recall what happened.

We also reached a new town in the South Province. Time for some sightseeing!

I got a TM for Flare Blitz as a reward for beating trainers. Honestly, I like my steak medium rare more.

Last time, I arrived Alfornada and saw that there are dining plates everywhere! Now I just need a proper food tour!

Let's start our food tour with a standard Tropical Sandwich. Things never go wrong in Every Wich Way!

The sandwich was alright. I can honestly make a tastier one.

How about some sweet Alfajores as desserts? I don't like coffee, so that's all I'm having in the cafe.

Well, I can never resist sweet treats like these! I might need to visit the dentist's after this, but these alfajores were absolutely worth it!

Expensive food. Cheap food. That is only the selfish perception of people. Real foodies try all of them and do not pick favorites.

This dish of Pot-au-Feu was smaller than I expected, but that doesn't stop it from being good!

After trying out more food, I went to the Gym, and of course, Nemona was there waiting for me. Oh no.

Nemona kept saying I'm doing well. I'm honestly getting so confused. Am I really getting better at Pokemon battling?

I wasn't surprised to hear Nemona ask for a pre-Gym battle, and I guess it would be a good way to test my actual battling skills.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but I'm not actually terrified of battling Nemona this time around! Let's do it!

Nemona sent in Pawmot next, which started by using Thunder Wave to paralyze Conchiglie.

Conchiglie couldn't move due to the paralysis! I think he is just panicking when he saw an Electric-type Pokemon.

Ouch! When I say I want some sparkling water, I didn't mean it like using Spark on my Water-type Pokemon.

For the second time in a row, Conchiglie was paralyzed and couldn't move! Maybe I should've brought some more Cheri Berries.

Conchiglie couldn't use a move, but he was totally capable of eating his Leftovers. I'm proud and frustrated at the same time.

Well, Conchiglie still did well in this fight. Maybe it'll be time for him to take a rest.

I sent Farfalline in next, and she traced Pawmot's Volt Absorb! Why didn't I think of this sooner?

Pawmot used Quick Attack on Farfalline. That was quick but not very strong.

Farfalline unleashed a super effective Psychic on Pawmot! That's why I was not worried about Fighting-type Pokemon.

Nemona's next Pokemon was Sliggoo, which didn't like Dazzling Gleam at all!

Sliggoo used Water Pulse, but I'm not sure if it was pure water or gooey water.

One more Dazzling Gleam and Sliggoo's gone. I'm honestly doing quite well so far.

But the battle isn't ending yet, and Nemona still has her ace Pokemon.

Pre-Gym Meals (2)

Of course, Nemona's ace Pokemon was her Meowscarada, which actually looks less scary when Terastallized for some reasons.

I must not let my guard down. Nemona spent a lot of time training her grass cat.

Case in point. Meowscarada managed to remove Farfalline with just one Flower Trick! This cat is evil, I tell you!

Rotelle, I trust that you can handle this situation!

Well, bugs do live around flowers, so Rotelle doesn't mind taking Flower Trick that much.

Even though Struggle Bug was super effective, it wasn't doing that much damage. Man, Pokemon battling sure takes a lot.

I forgot. Rotelle actually likes eating mud only, eating flowers is not exactly his favorites.

So close! Rotelle's second Struggle Bug almost knocked Meowscarada out!

Unfortunately, Rotelle couldn't quite stand against Meowscarada's dirty tricks. Another one bites the dust.

Surely, Campy would be able to defend itself against all sorts of tough foes, right?

Even with Campy's mighty defenses, Flower Trick did quite a lot. Meowscarada is definitely a Pokemon I don't want to mess around with.

Campy isn't really a strong Pokemon, but its Gyro Ball is more than enough to finish things up.

Terastallized opponents are always so tough, but it's so satisfying beating them down!

I was shocked to see myself beating Nemona in yet another Pokemon battle! It's like Pokemon battling is now my second instinct.

Having a full meal would be able to heal my Pokemon, but Max Potions will do, too.

I feel like I'm getting closer to becoming a Champion. The next thing I need to do is to take on the Gym in this town!

Now that I get to actually navigate the Gym, I saw an adorable Spoink bouncing around!

Some Hatenna are chilling here as well! I love how Psychic-type Pokemon are living here!

But I have never seen this Pokemon before. It is so polite and greeted me properly. Is this a Psychic-type Pokemon, too?

Getting Emotional

Last time, I made it to the Alfornada Gym and saw some Psychic-type Pokemon along with a Pokemon I've never seen before!

Hey, I'm pretty good at doing exercises. Gotta keep working out to stay fit after eating so much.

Wait, it is an exercise about emotions? Well, I'm pretty good at being emotional, too.

Hey, is this the right place for the Emotional Spectrum Practice? Hm, why does this person look so familiar?

Oh crap, my battle studies teacher is here? I hope she isn't here for the assignment I was supposed to finish two months ago.

Oh, Ms. Dendra is actually here to help out the Gym Leader here. Such a great friendship they have.

Ok, let me take a quick breath and prepare to dive into my emotions. I'm ready!

Huh, Ms. Dendra is using a Medicham for the practice. I didn't know she likes Psychic-type Pokemon.

One hundred free chicken nuggets! Yes, please! I'm sure Lotty would love that too!

This strawberry shortcake tastes like macaroni and cheese! I didn't see that coming, did you, Lotty?

I still remember when Buca di Beppo closed their shops! WORST DAY OF MY LIFE! I'll ask Lotty to hypnotize their executives!

Oh my, working on my emotions is definitely tougher than I thought, but I also feel so much better now. Let's do some Pokemon battling then.

Woah! This trainer right here is using a Gothorita. I sure feel happy getting surrounded by so many Psychic-type Pokemon!

Well, I know what Psychic-type Pokemon don't like seeing. One of them is Lotty's "Foul Play", whatever that means.

*sob* Seeing a Gothorita cry actually makes me kinda sad. I don't know why but I can empathize Psychic-type Pokemon.

Lotty just poisoned Gothorita, and Gothorita is getting sadder. I don't know need no empathy to feel that.

Asking me to fight Psychic-type Pokemon is just brutal. I can't handle this! *sob*

A Kirlia after a Gothorita? Are you like a Psychic-type trainer, too?

Well, I have something better than that. I'm sure Farfalline would be delighted to battle a Kirlia.

How does Farfalline's forewarn psychic powers work on fellow Psychic-type Pokemon? Well, that doesn't actually matter.

Farfalline knows better than anybody that Kirlia doesn't like getting hit by Shadow Ball, which is exactly what she's doing.

Part 2 of the Emotional Practice. Here we go!

Now that I pay attention, I see that everyone is actually using a Psychic-type Pokemon! I'm more than just excited!

I'm angry, because this fun exercise is ending already! I hope I can join another practice soon!

This time I'm facing the Grumpig trainer. I'm glad Spirali isn't here to witness this.

I switched Lotty out to Ravioli, who then crunched on Grumpig. I knew she's into pork chops!

Grumpig fell asleep mid-battle. Spiarli also likes dozing off, but he wouldn't have done it during a battle!

Hey, do you know that snoring could be a warning sign of bad health? Make sure to get your Grumpig checked.

Some people don't like being near someone who snores, but flinching is another level, Ravioli.

You have a Medicham, too? This Pokemon is just everywhere in this town.

Medicham got some great kicking skills, if it managed to hit Ravioli's head all the way up there.

Poor Ravioli. She did well, but I guess she doesn't like fighting fellow Psychic-type Pokemon either.

I'm sure Farfalline would be fine fighting Medicham. Let's have her trace some Pure Power first!

Farfalline's Dazzling Gleam is just too much for Medicham to handle. Again, I know my Psychic-type Pokemon well!

Wait, is that the Pokemon I saw in the Gym? Or is it not? Anyways, it's called Indeedee and that's so cute!

My theory's right! Indeedee knows Psychic, which means it is probably a Psychic-type Pokemon. I need to find one, now!

You know what, Indeedee is so cute I think I want more than one! I just need to find them in the wild!

I'm glad my unstable emotions and my middling battle skills were enough to pass the test. I feel relieved, for sure.

Casunziei, do you want a run of the Emotional Spectrum Practice, too? You know, 'cause you are ESPeon?

Speaking of emotional, Ferrazzuoli still freaking hates me and does not give a single fuck about me.

I must calm myself before going to the Gym. I think taking some warm tea should work.

Psychic Showdown (1)

Last time, I took part in the Emotion Spectrum Practice, and I passed with flying colors.

This time, I get to face the Gym Leader directly, and I'm so curious why there are so many Psychic-type Pokemon in this Gym!

The Gym Leader here is certainly a busy person, working as a makeup artist and a Gym Leader. Does she even have time to eat?

I was officially welcomed by the Gym Leader, Ms. Tulip! I wasn't expecting her to be so pretty! Wow!

Ms. Tulip is Ms. Dendra's friend. Does that mean she has a Medicham, too?

I'm not sure about looking more beautiful, but that ESP exercise was a great way to release my emotions!

Let's start our Gym Battle! I've been so excited for this!

I sent Casunziei out first! I was surprised to see Ms. Tulip use a Farigiraf! Does that mean ... ?

If what I'm thinking is right, then we'll need a Light Screen to protect our side from special moves!

But of course, I have a Farigiraf myself, too, and I know they have a nasty habit of crunching everything they see.

If Farigiraf is using Crunch, then Casunziei needs to leave. Let's pass the baton to somebody else.

Let's see how Farfalline fares against Farigiraf! Not sure how she traces an Armor Tail for herself, but I'll take it!

Farfalline was also hit by a Crunch, but she's fine taking that hit!

Let's calm ourselves down with some Calm Mind actions. Let's think about the sandwiches we're going to eat after this battle.

Farigiraf put on a Reflect screen. I'll have to pay attention to that later.

Farigiraf should've used some sunscreens instead, 'cause Farfalline's gonna shine with Dazzling Gleam!

Farigiraf went with Crunch again, and she's still hanging tough. She's getting gradually worn down, though.

Farfalline blinded Farigiraf again with Dazzling Gleam. It should've been super effective, since Farigiraf has four eyes.

It saddens me to see Farigiraf getting knocked out, but I must do what I gotta do!

Unfortunately, fighting Farigiraf took long enough that the Light Screen on our side was gone.

YES, I'm right! Ms. Tulip sent in Espathra, which means she's a Psychic-type trainer, just like I am!

This battle just got even more exciting, 'cause we both know what each of our Pokemon is weak to!

I bet Ms. Tulip didn't know I have Farfalline bring her Wiki Berry to the battle! Food is always the key to success!

Well, I know exactly what Espathra doesn't like, and Shadow Ball is one of them.

Seeing Espathra in battle makes me miss Pappardelle. I gotta bring her back sometimes.

HAHAHA! Even though I found out Ms. Tulip loves Psychic-type Pokemon, I didn't expect us to use Gardevoir at the same time!

They say your biggest enemy is yourself, and I don't think this is what they meant.

Ouch! My biggest enemy is actually random critical hits! That was unfortunate.

Farfalline, you did great, but I guess we have to train on your psychic powers more.

The good news is the opposing Reflect screen is finally gone. We should've hired a Screen Cleaner or something.

You know, Casunziei is such a sociable Pokemon I bet he'll make friends with Ms. Tulip's Pokemon easily.

The opposing Gardevoir has already been weakened a lot, and it takes just another Shadow Ball to clean things up.

The epic Gardevoir showdown ends in both Gardevoir fainting. That's why they need to be protected by their knights.

Did someone say cake? Oh, as in caked-on mascara. I can't eat that.

Psychic Showdown (2)

Ms. Tulip's final Pokemon is ... Florges? Is that even a Psychic-type Pokemon?

Oh wait, Ms. Tulip is preparing a makeover for her Florges.

Florges Terastallized into a Psychic-type! I guess that counts.

Florges is Ms. Tulip's ace Pokemon, so I have to be careful around it. How about some Light Screen protection?

Florges summoned the moon while the Sun's out! Casunziei probably doesn't like that too much!

Casunziei almost got knocked out by that Moonblast, but he survived and even got to eat his Figy Berry.

Casunziei lashed out with some Shadow Ball action. I guess that's naturally what happened after a moon blasts.

Florges stirred up a Petal Blizzard. I would've loved it better if I was having a Kanto-style picnic.

(Smogon forums in shambles when they see me Dry Pass twice in a battle.)

The weather's getting worse, and we need Campy's help to clear the storm!

Florges' Moonblast didn't do much to Campy's metal body!

I'm not sure if Florges has any other moves to do more damage to Campy. It is just so tanky!

Campy is so good at taking hits and lashing out with a Payback! We were getting so close with that big hit!

Florges was still using nothing but Moonblast. I was not worried at all.

Campy finished things up with a Gyro Ball. Hm, I can really go for some rice balls right now.

Florges' Psychic-crown was smashed and shattered. Get that fake Psychic-type Pokemon outta here.

Campy was getting so excited it wanted to make some quirky Metal Sounds. I don't think it's a good time for that.

Let's hear that lunch bell rings!

This is definitely one of the most magical and enchanting battle I've ever had!

Ms. Tulip seems to think highly about my "beauty", but I don't plan to become a model or anything like that.

Let's celebrate my victory with a yoga pose! Ms. Tulip must've learned it from her Medicham!

This is my seventh Gym Badge, and that should mean I can catch some even stronger Pokemon.

I also received a TM for Psychic as well as its recipe. I'm sure this will be helpful for all of my Pokemon!

I was expecting to see Nemona after the Gym battle, but I was instead greeted by Ms. Rika.

Ms. Rika was accompanied by a little child called Poppy. The only thing I know is that poppy seeds are toxic and should not be eaten.

Huh? This Poppy kid is one of the Elite Four, too? Maybe the Elite Four isn't as scary as I thought.

If I work my way through the Pokemon League, I would be able to face the Elite Four. I mean, I won't lose to a child, right?

I'm already so close to beating all the Gyms. At this point, it feels like I should try the Champion Assessment at least once.

With the Alfronada Gym out of the way, I don't really see any remaining Gyms that I haven't visited. That's weird.

Maybe I'll try to find some more in the North? I see that there are stuffs I need to take care of over there.

Lesson Time (Zero Gameplay)

Last time, I beat the Alfronada Gym, but I couldn't find any remaining Gyms.

Instead, I went back to the school and took some Home Ec classes. I missed Mr. Saguaro!

Today's lesson isn't about food, which is a bummer, but I don't mind learning about other Home Ec stuffs.

I've heard that some Pokemon have different colors than other ones of its species. Is that what you're referring to?

Oh, filthy Pokemon, ew! We can't allow that to happen. I mean, Lotty is pretty filthy, if you ask me.

Pokemon get dirty when they get hurt by moves, which means they get dirty ALL THE TIME!

Even just playing in the wild can make Pokemon dirty! So, I can't have picnic with them?

Well, I've tried washing my Pokemon in a picnic, if that helps.

That's right. Pokemon Wash allows Pokemon to get cleaner, and they can also recover from battles!

I noted that down, I'm not cleaning Rotelle and Lotty because they very much enjoy being dirty.

I must've missed a class on accident! I must catch up with the progress by going for another class immediately!

Well, that's the biggest reason why I attend all the Home Ec lessons. I'm here for the food!

Oh well, I guess clothing is also part of Home Ec, huh.

For the first time, I didn't pay attention at all in class. I don't think I need to know anything about clothing!

You know, this is the reason why I like Home Ec more than subjects like Mathematics. I mean, other than the food part, of course.

I will always remember what Mr. Saguaro taught us in class! I'm sure they'll come in handy whenever I start cooking.

This is already the final Home Ec lesson! Time really flies by! But what I hate more is that we'll have a final exam coming soon.

Screw that final exam. How about going back to Alfornada for some berry harvests?

The ESP session is open again after I cleared the Alfornada Gym. Let's train on my emotional practices, why not?

Conchiglie is, in fact, never surprised. He looks about as unfazed as possible right here.

Orecchiette and Ms. Dendra's Medicham are like twins when they make the same surprised face!

Liechi Berries sound like something they can save us from an uphill battle.

Ravioli is so tall they can't even put everyone behind us.

ESP exercises are fun, but I think I'll stop here. I got quite a lot of berries, though!

I'm planning to go to the north next to see what else I can do. So, let's go back to Montenevera for start.

This place isn't any less creepy than I remembered. Let's just leave and head even further down northwards.

I flew back to the North Province, and I saw something peculiar far in the distance.

But before that, let's take a look at these Ralts gathering around this Gardevoir.

This looks like a great onsen in the middle of a frosty mountain. What can go wrong?

Hey, I found this onsen first. You'll have to fight me if you want to take a bath, too.

Oh crap, I mean, I'm really sorry and you have all the rights to take a bath here. I'll leave, ok.

Oh no, the Primeape got really angry and unleashed its rage by punching Orecchiette really hard. Ouch.

Oh come on, Orecchiette. This is not the time to miss your Zen Headbutt.

Goodbye, Orecchiette. It's my fault for picking a fight with this angry monkey. Such a toxic behavior, right?

Let's see if Cavatelli can cool Primeape with his own burning flames!

I haven't even done anything to you! Why are you so angry?

Primeape got so overheated it burned itself. That's why you gotta take some ESP exercises to release your emotions.

Speaking of emotions, it's now time to shock Primeape with some Psyshock actions.

Cavatelli broke Primeape's Tera Crystal, and apparently Primeape really liked it. We'll give it an encore, then.

I'm the ultimate winner! I got to enjoy this onsen all by myself!

Do you think using High Jump Kick against a Judo artist is a little rude? I mean, Orecchiette is probably better at kicking than Lucario.

Mabosstiff went for the crunch. You know Pappardelle is no longer an egg, so don't even try.

There aren't too much Pappardelle can do, so she just screams at the top of her lung.

She's also stuck with using Uproar. It's too late to change our strategies now!

Too bad Pappardelle's Reflect wasn't enough to protect herself.

This is Orecchiette's showtime then. Let's give this dog a Fire Punch to warm it up.

(The creepy dude has a Vaporeon? Actually ew. Wtf.)

Weavile's next, and it's making me feel uncomfortable. You can say I'm getting pressured.

Well, Weavile is just another prey for Orecchiette's Fire Punch. How about that?

This cave looks like a great place for an afternoon tea party. We can take a look at the Pokemon center while enjoying a sandwich.

I've finally reached another Pokemon center! I guess this one is just built in the middle of nowhere.

Hm, that looks like a Team Star base to me. I guess I might as well tackle that down while I'm here.

Excuse me, is this a Dynamaxed white mochi, or is this a giant floating face?

Imagine fighting an evil floating face and it just blows cold air at your Pokemon. I can't say I enjoy the experience.

This place is chilly, and I think Spirali's Thick Fat will come in handy. Probably not against this Flamigo, though.

I'm glad I picked up an Overheat TM in this ruin. Might be helpful for our potluck party later tonight.

My First Impression of Lokix is that I hate it. Please burn it with fire.

Good Music Taste

Last time, I found a Pokemon Center in the middle of the snowy hills. It's getting warmer, though.

I ran into Clive, who reminded me on my progress of Operation Starfall. We just needed to clear two more bases.

The more I think about it, the more I think Cassiopeia is suspicious. I just get this hunch I can't explain.

It seems like Clive has a similar thought as well. I'm sure Operation Starfall isn't as simple as Cassiopeia makes it sound like.

At least Clive confirmed there's a Team Star nearby, and that'll probably be what I'm doing next.

Hold on, did this trainer just call Lotty a beauty? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.

Excuse me, did you just call me an ugly pile of junk? I can't stand THAT!

Medicham flinched from Orecchiette's psychic power. I guess it wasn't a real psychic, after all.

Orecchiette will always be the supreme Medicham. There's no doubt about it.

Hm. I can really go for some scrambled eggs right now.

Oh my lord! This is one strong Wigglytuff right here! Pappardelle, can you handle this?

Well, I guess not. I'm sure Campy won't mind fighting a Wigglytuff though.

Wigglytuff's Double-Edge won't work well on Campy! Its body doesn't even have edges!

Charm? Campy, you aren't supposed to have emotions, so why are you affected by that?

Campy shot some Confuse Ray at Wigglytuff. This battle hasn't been very productive so far.

Campy's Gyro Ball didn't work very well against the pink fluffy ball. I guess that Charm was quite effective, huh.

You know who else doesn't believe in fairy tales? Cavatelli. He only likes war stories.

Wigglytuff's Double-Edge isn't something to mess around with, even though Cavatelli's so bulky with his armor on.

How about some Will-O-Wisp to burn this marshmallow? That's why you should never play with fire.

Let's pump up the heat with some Heat Wave action. Be careful not to burn the flower patches though.

Wigglytuff then crumbled from its burn! I sometimes get too if I gobble something that's too hot.

Kricketune's next? Lady, you sure have an interesting taste in music.

Well, that's just another victim for Cavatelli's Heat Wave.

Oh, you have a Grumpig too? You should've told me that earlier. Maybe we could've become friends!

Hyper Voice? I didn't even know Grumpig can learn that! Is it like the main vocal of your band?

Grumpig may have Thick Fat, but I'm sure it won't like getting burned by Will-O-Wisp too much.

Food Fairy

Last time, I had a battle with a musician, and honestly, I did not picture Grumpig as a singer type of Pokemon.

Jokes on you, I don't need to smell a mint to be lonely.

You know what they say. The world is your oyster. I'm pretty sure that means everything in the world tastes as great as oysters. Yum.

Speaking of which, I can really go for some fried oyster right now. Maybe together with some udon noodles.

No, thanks. I already got some oysters for dinner, and I don't really eat sunfish.

Last time I went to a Chinese restaurant, they told me a Clawitzer fried that rice. No way I'm believing that.

This flower field is actually considered part of Glaseado Mountain, even though it is so much warmer here.

Get that puff outta here! I'm allergic to pollen!

And I don't even have any Pokemon that can shoot pollen puffs. Rotelle might be a bug, but he doesn't play with flowers.

You know, an eel is hundred times better than a burning larva. At least I can cook this one easily.

Why would I want to whip up storm of leaves? Maybe it can be helpful if I want to feed Ravioli.

Nothing left to do in this area. I think it's time for me to raid the base.

All I saw was this old man talking about some young master with a Team Star grunt.

The what squad now? Man, I miss the Cheddar Squad. That was a great name.

Well, Mr. Old Man here took me as an adversary of whoever the young master is. I suppose I am against anyone defending the base.

And that would mean Mr. Old Man will be the one guarding the gate this time. Sure.

I sent out Pappardelle to fight against ... Morgrem. That's just a little man.

Morgrem looks like an evil genie, so I figure our Psychic-type moves won't work on it. Dazzling Gleam, however, will be wonderful.

I'm right. Morgrem then hit Pappardelle with Dark Pulse. That hurts so much!

Pappardelle is looking extra dazzling today, and that's enough to blind Morgrem to death.

Hold on, you have a Hattrem, too? Awwww. Now I can't go too aggressive.

Pappardelle bent the shadow realm with the real dimensions so strongly that the world is looking fuzzy.

Well, I have raised a Hattrem, so I know at the bottom of my heart what it is weak to.

You can't see his face, but Rotelle is making an annoying Bug Buzz and removed Hattrem. I must say, I also dislike that move a lot.

So, from what I'm gathering, the actual boss hiding in this base is someone named Ortega, who is rich enough to hire this old dude.

And this old dude used to be the academy director? Why did he suddenly become the underling of a Team Star boss then?

Well, the whole squad is now alerted of my presence. And if the boss is a rich kid, I might be in some deep shits.

They also told me something about this Ortega individual, and apparently, he is quite short-tempered.
