Rotelle used to roll around mud in deserts, so he should be fine taking some Earth Power. Not the pointy stones though, he hates those.

I only lost one Pokemon, while Arven had already lost three. I still have the advantage here!

I wasn't expecting Rotelle to roll faster than Toedscruel but there he goes. Bug Buzz surround sound.

Oh, how can I forget the number rule before eating mushrooms! I should've washed away the spores beforehand!

Rotelle was put to sleep, and Toedscruel took that opportunity to throw Sludge Bomb at him.

Imagine waking up in the middle of night to find yourself drenched in sludge. Gross.

Well, I'd imagine it's difficult to stay asleep after getting slapped by Sludge Bomb.

One more Bug Buzz and Toedscruel's done. You gotta eat more mushrooms to boost your immunity system!

Unfortunately for Rotelle, Garganacl isn't the only one with stealthy rocks. Arven's Cloyster showed up and shot Rotelle down with Rock Blast.

Good thing is, Campy doesn't mind rocks. In fact, Campy lived in rocky hills and probably ate several Geodude.

Even though Campy is the bringer of rain, it isn't well suited to take on water. I'm sure it prefers dryer weather.

Doesn't matter though. Campy's body is made of iron, and it can make its body even more iron! I think that's how chemistry works.

Iron Defense giving a defense boost to Campy works great when it is using Leftovers to heal!

Liquidation didn't do much damage on the second time. That's why you need to take more iron in your meals!

Setting up Iron Defense all day won't be a great strategy, so Campy needs to put in more offense with its Psychic!

Iron rusts faster with water, so I would prefer if Arven can stop with his Liquidation.

Campy's psychic power isn't as strong as some of its friends, but it is still enough to wreck Cloyster!

Arven's down to his final Pokemon, which is of course his best buddy, Mabosstiff!

Mabosstiff isn't the same weak dog as he was before, and his Tera crystal is just going to make him shine even brighter!

Mabosstiff showed us he is back to full force by crunching Campy's iron-hard body! Even the sturdiest bell will break from that!

Campy, you did well, but I guess I underestimated how healthy the current Mabosstiff is.

I always trust Farfalline when things are going badly. She copied Mabosstiff's Intimidate and intimidated him back!

I've known Mabosstiff for a while, but I've never pictured him as the evil kind. Moonblast will serve him justice though.

Mabosstiff's Crunch is no jokes! Even after Farfalline's traced Intimidate, it still did a lot on Farfalline, who isn't weak to that move!

Well, Farfalline is still the better Pokemon here, and her second Moonblast was more than enough to finish Mabosstiff.

Let's hope Mabosstiff can still walk after this fight.

Even though I won the battle, I feel bad because Arven doesn't seem to be very confident in his abilities.

Arven thinks we need backups from stronger trainers, and of course, my mind immediately goes to Nemona.

I'm not sure if Nemona can deal with crazy teach, but she is definitely Champion-ranked.

I'm still giving that idea some thoughts, and Arven suggests me to get to Champion-rank to convince Nemona to join the team!

Spill the Tea

Last time, I had a friendly match with Arven, and we found out that we were not quite ready for a tougher adventure.

We need help, and the first person to come to mind is Nemona. I think she might be studying at school, but there seems to be something blocking me from going there.

It is quite possible I run into someone who wants to fight, so let's get the team prepared for the worst.

I wanted to get to the school library, but Clive was blocking my way. Can you wait while I find my friend?

What in the fu----fudge? Clive is Director Clavell all along? I've been so beanboozled this whole time!

Director Clavell dropped another reveal on me. He is also Cassiopeia! I can't believe he has been playing me like this!

I'm angry, but he's my school director, and I can't do anything against him! I guess the only revenge would be a Pokemon battle.

And also, I'll need to defeat Director Clavell to officially disband Team Star, so let's just get this over with.

Director Clavell sent out Oranguru to fight. I'm shocked yet again because I didn't know he loves Psychic-type Pokemon that much.

And I have Pappardelle out and use Lumina Crash. It wasn't meant to do much damage, but the harsh Special Defense drop might be helpful.

Oh no, I think I put too much bacon in that sandwich, 'cause I'm getting drowsy.

I can't let Pappardelle stay and fall asleep, so I switch to Farfalle, who can cut through Oranguru's leaf fan.

Hey, I don't think it's very nice of the director of the academy to use Foul Play! Does anyone want to look into that?

Farfalle only plays fair and square by slicing his opponents with Sacred Sword. It was so close, but he didn't quite knock Oranguru out.

That gave Oranguru enough time to put on a Reflect screen. Darn it!

Well, that Reflect screen won't protect Oranguru from fainting! I guess Farfalle is now officially the smarter Pokemon.

Usually, drinking tea is good for calming my nerves, but I don't want to see a haunted teapot right now.

Farfalle won't be able to use his Sacred Sword on a creepy tea spirit, but Psycho Cut is fine despite using the same blade.

Farfalle might've hit Polteageist too hard with that Psycho Cut, 'cause that teapot just broke, which makes Polteageist much faster.

Polteageist blasted a Shadow Ball at Farfalle, which is more than enough to knock him out.

Well, I'm sure Farfalle prefers Japanese tea anyways. Maybe some burning hot matcha.

Is your teapot made of bronze? 'Cause my rain-bearing bell definitely is.

Campy got burned immediately by that piping hot tea! Luckily for us, Campy is quite heatproof and won't take that much burn damage.

Campy's Gyro Ball isn't too strong thanks to that nasty burn, but that should teach Polteageist not to go too fast.

Polteageist's teapot body is way too fragile. Even the weakest slam manages to crack its pot.

Campy took minimal burn damage, which is still not great but acceptable.

Polteageist switched back to all-out offense with a super effective Shadow Ball on Campy! Ouch!

Campy also switched strategies and went for Psychic this time, which is just shy from knocking Polteageist out! So close!

At least enough time has passed to make that Reflect fade away. Though that might also be too late.

Polteageist went with another Shadow Ball, which is of course too much for Campy to handle. I'm two Pokemon down!

Farfalline is the next one to battle, and she traced Polteageist's Weak Armor. I have mixed feelings about that.

Farfalline got burned by the ghostly tea. If only she has an ability to make Polteageist burn as well!

Polteageist isn't the only one who knows Shadow Ball. Farfalline may not be a ghost, but her shadowy spirits are quite fearsome, too!

And the power of sandwich allows Farfalline to cure her burn! (Totally illegal run now. But there's no way the burn cure will affect anything, right?)

A Star is Born (1)

After Polteageist, Houndoom was up next. I still have bad memories of this thing.

I didn't know Houndoom is that TOXIC! How does it make Sludge Bomb out of its body?

Usually, Moonblast is a great choice for evil Pokemon like this, but Houndoom isn't scared of fairies!

Sludge Bomb struck again, and Farfalline barely survived. If she didn't cure that poison, she would've been done!

Thanks to the tiny amount she has left, Farfalline managed to eat her Wiki Berry before things get worse.

Houndoom might have what it takes to stand one Moonblast, but it couldn't stay longer when the moon rises again!

After all those troubles, I was rewarded with a poisonous mushroom! Can't complain too much though, since I'm getting hungry.

Time to remove those nasty toxins with some vitamins and some Psychic actions.

Abomasnow came in next and made the day snowy. Farfalline should be withstanding the cold. I've seen Gardevoir wander around snowy mountains.

Why not make the snow feel even colder by casting the moon? Farfalline's Moonblast took half of Abomasnow's health!

Abomasnow dropped a Wood Hammer on Farfalline, and Farfalline didn't quite make it.

Now this looks like an anime screenshot.

At least Abomasnow also damaged itself with that Wood Hammer. Should hopefully make it easier to handle.

This battle is getting tough, and I also don't think too many Pokemon left. Pappardelle is the next one I trust, so here she goes.

If Abomasnow is destroying everything with Wood Hammer, then Reflect will be a great defend.

Oh no! Director Clavell had the same idea and used Aurora Veil, which is an even stronger protection than my pity Reflect!

I gotta do something, otherwise our attacks won't hurt them too much! Which is why I decided to spice things up by Terastallizing Pappardelle!

With the power of Terastallization, Pappardelle unleashed a boosted Lumina Crash!

But that was still not enough to defeat the snowy titan! It is just so beefy behind that Aurora Veil!

Abomasnow switched things up by going for Blizzard this time. Pappardelle might look like a bird, but she's not afraid of the cold.

Abomasnow has been weakened enough and can be defeated by just Dazzling Gleam. Good job, Pappardelle, for saving the day.

Just one more Pokemon to defeat, and Operation Starfall will be declared successful. But I'm worried this final Pokemon might be the strongest one.

A Star is Born (2)

Director Clavell, otherwise known as Cassiopeia, sent out his final Pokemon, Quaquaval! I wasn't told roasted duck is on the menu today!

As I expected, Quaquaval is the Director's ace Pokemon, and he Terastallized that with a Tera-Water Jewel.

I have never battled Quaquaval before, but I figured Lumina Crash is a great start to wear it down first!

That harsh Special Defense drop on Quaquaval should make it easier to deal with!

By the power of its Tera-Water, Quaquaval performed its signature dance, Aqua Step, and almost knocked Pappardelle out!

Quaquaval also became faster after using that move! It might get out of control if I'm not careful enough.

Pappardelle prepared for this with a Petaya Berry, which gave her a special attack boost in a pinch. I guess that's the Pokemon version of adrenaline.

And of course, Pappardelle won't let Quaquaval steal all the spotlight. She copied Quaquaval's Speed boost for herself!

Not that it really matters, but the snow finally stopped. I guess we won't need to roast that duck anymore then.

Pappardelle went with another Lumina Crash, which does even more the second time around, but it was still not enough to knock the duck out.

In fact, I think Quaquaval's Aqua Step is getting even stronger now. Not that Pappardelle would've survived otherwise, but still.

The problem is Quaquaval is speeding too fast, and Pappardelle can't copy the speed boost anymore.

Our protection screens are all out, so everything's back to normal now. This battle can go either way, really.

If Quaquaval wants to play the speeding game, maybe I'll send my slowpoke Lumache, who can take Aqua Step really well.

Quaquaval has already been significantly weakened, and it only takes one more Psychic to knock it out.

Quaquaval is quite powerful. Now that I think about it, it must've been the evolution of that tiny duck the Director showed me when I moved in.

In fact, Director Clavell's entire team is quite strong. I'm surprised I made it through!

I would not have imagined myself battling the director of the Academy and winning, for that matter. I'm in awe.

Wait, what on earth? Did Director Clavell lie to me again? He isn't actually Cassiopeia? Then what's the point of that battle?

Oh come on! Now's not the time for a friendly match. I've got serious business to take care of.

It seems like we must do more to find out the real mastermind behind Team Star, which means Operation Starfall is not ending quite yet.

Uh-oh. I forgot we are not supposed to have Pokemon battles at the school entrance. Ms. Tyme really dislikes that.

You know what, Director Clavell. I suddenly remember I got something to do. See ya!

But of course, after I have my post-battle sandwich, I'll need to meet Cassiopeia in the schoolyard. Whoever that may be.

When the Stelle Align (1)

Last time, I battled Director Clavell because he claimed to be Cassiopeia, but he isn't actually Cassiopeia! That's double betrayal!

The real Cassiopeia should be waiting for me in the schoolyard after dark, which is why I'm here.

Wait, now Penny's telling me she's the big boss behind everything? Is this another prank just like the Director's?

I guess the only way to find out would be to battle Penny. I would not be happy if I get trolled twice on the same day.

And Director Clavell's back again. Right now, I don't really want to see his stupid pompadour after what he did.

Penny even asked us to record this battle. Why are we getting so official now? Is this the real deal?

Let's battle Penny, who seems to be following Team Star's code! Let's hope she's not that tough to beat.

Penny led the battle with an Umbreon. Why am I not surprised to see that thing?

Ferrazzuoli is a reliable lead thanks to his Intimidate, but I don't think he wants to fight a evil version of Casunziei.

I'm sure Farfalline is a greater match against Umbreon. I mean, Farfalline very often blasts her opponents with moonlight.

Umbreon shot Farfalline with some Dark Pulse, but Farfalline isn't scared of darkness.

Umbreon then looked at Farfalline with some Baby-Doll Eyes. Now I'm pretty sure some people have dolls that look like Farfalline. No questions allowed.

Farfalline casted her signature Moonblast on Umbreon. Isn't it funny the moon Pokemon is weak to Moonblast? Hahaha.

Give Farfalline one more chance for Moonblast, and the moon will be knocked out by the moon.

Penny sends in her Flareon next. I'm noticing a trend in the Pokemon she uses.

Flareon is too fiery for little fairy tales, so Farfalline went for Psychic instead.

Flareon cloaked itself in flames and slammed into Farfalline. That hurt like heck even though it was just regularly effective. Ouch!

Flareon's reckless move also took away a huge chunk of its health! This is a lose-lose situation!

The only winner here is Farfalline, who got to eat her Wiki Berry and recover some health.

Thanks to Flareon wearing itself down, knocking it out doesn't take so much power. Still a very cuddly Pokemon though.

And Penny's next Pokemon is Vaporeon. I heard some bad things about this Pokemon, not gonna lie.

Vaporeon is both bulky and powerful, so I had Farfalline set up a Light Screen to work around its offense.

Vaporeon shot out a Hydro Pump, which thankfully did not knock Farfalline out since she's hiding behind that Light Screen.

Time for Farfalline to take revenge by some Psychic actions. As expected, Vaporeon didn't actually take that much damage.

Another Hydro Pump and Farfalline's gone. She did a great job, as she took two Pokemon out already.

When the Stelle Align (2)

I sent in Lumache next, 'cause she would not mind taking a Hydro Pump considering she lived in a lake.

Not that it really matters, 'cause Vaporeon is just using Baby-Doll Eyes to lower Lumache's Attack.

And since Vaporeon won't take much damage from Lumache's Water-type attacks either, she has to use Body Press instead.

Not sure what Penny's plan is, but Lumache really doesn't care about Baby-Doll Eyes.

Lumache actually uses her own defense to deal damage, so the Attack drop didn't hurt much at all.

Vaporeon finally went for Hydro Pump again, and Lumache drank that like it's some protein shake.

With one more Body Press, Vaporeon was sent back to its Poke Ball!

Vaporeon still took long enough that the Light Screen on our side wore off. That might be bad.

Next up is Jolteon. Lumache doesn't like getting shocked, so I switched her out.

Tough foes like this are always left for Farfalle to deal with. He sure doesn't like getting struck by Thunder, but he was still doing fine.

Jolteon went for Baby-Doll Eyes, to nobody's surprise, and Farfalle seemed to be greatly moved by them.

It doesn't stop Farfalle from chopping Jolteon with Sacred Sword, but it probably could've done more damage.

Fun fact, "Lightning never strikes twice" is incorrect, and Farfalle is a living proof of why lightning actually strikes the same place.

But Farfalle is such a brave warrior. Even getting struck by thunder won't stop him from defeating his foe!

However, taking on Jolteon was tough enough, and Farfalle won't be able to handle the next foe.

Instead, let's send Cavatelli out to handle Penny's next Pokemon, which might resemble a pawpaw fruit in some people's eyes.

Leafeon tries to prey on Farfalle's low health with Quick Attack, and I'm glad I made the switch!

Since Cavatelli brought some Leftovers with him, that Quick Attack almost did nothing.

I have lost count how many we've been hit by Baby-Doll Eyes, but I know Cavatelli doesn't care about them.

Anyone wants some roasted fruits? Don't let any Grass-type Pokemon fans see this please, but Leafeon was burned.

Penny has only one Pokemon left, and it is her Sylveon. I must not let my guard down, 'cause she might have something crazy planned.

Sylveon is Penny's ace Pokemon, and there's no way she's giving up already!

When the Stelle Align (3)

Penny Terastallized her Sylveon into just a stronger Fairy-type! Honestly, I should've seen this one coming.

My plan was to have Cavatelli spray some acids, not just for the damage, but for the harsh Special Defense drop as well.

And of course, Sylveon knows Shadow Ball, which is super effective and is a critical hit on Cavatelli. Not even the most auspicious armor can stop that.

Cavatelli still managed to get some health back with Leftovers, but I'm not sure if that will help.

No more Acid Spray then, it's time for an all-out attack. Cavatelli unleashed his Flamethrower, which is still not enough to knock Sylveon out.

Cavatelli got hit by another super effective Shadow Ball! I guess the brighter I shine, the darker the shadow is.

By some miracles, Cavatelli survived with 1 health point! That's what a bright warrior should do! (These friendship bonuses are so out of control LOL)

Welp. Cavatelli looks like the big damn hero for one second, and the next one he got cleaned up with a Quick Attack. Oops.

At this point, I'm sure I have this in the bag, and Ferrazzuoli surely won't let me down this time, right?

Just one Body Slam, and Sylveon was sent back to its fairy kingdom! Good job, Ferrazzuoli!

We broke Sylveon's heart, literally.

This battle gave me some troubles, but it was still much better than the last one. I'm glad I did it.

Hmm, Penny is still talking like she's the real boss of Team Star. Is she actually the secret mastermind?

Director Clavell even asked her what Team Star means to her, and it feels like Penny does have some things with Team Star. That is not what she told me.

And it turns out, all of the Team Star bosses are here to spectate our battle. Ok, this has gotta be the real one, then.

Actually, even the Team Star bosses didn't know who Cassiopeia actually is, so they are probably as shocked as I am.

Director Clavell went on and talked about how Team Star members were actually the victims of bullying, and some of them probably got their lunch stolen.

Wait! Did Director Clavell just say Team Star does not need to disband?

What in the f - lipping fajitas? I did all of these works, and everything was wasted because of his one order?

I'll admit the Team Star raids are quite creative of an idea, and I can't be the only one who suffers from those.

At this point, I don't care about what happens to them. Just give me my phone back, and I'll call it a day.

I still have not forgiven Director Clavell for being such a troll, but he's the director, and who am I to be angry at him.

Just saying thank you is not enough. I think I deserve some free meals at the school cafeteria, if you really want to reward me.

At least Penny gets to work with her friends now, and she would not longer need to hide in the dark.

Oh right, I forgot that Penny is actually a dirty hacker. It turns out she gave me LPs by hacking the Pokemon League, too. I hope this doesn't mean I need to give them back my LPs.

You know, I think Penny will be receiving a harsh enough punishment. Maybe I'll forgive her for hacking my phone.

After all these hard works, I deserve to treat myself a fancy meal at Seafood Fresco, except I receive a call from Penny right when I'm about to leave.

Penny met me at the stairs outside of the school, and basically, she just wants to thank me properly.

Her punishment for hacking is to work a job at the League. I feel so sorry for her.

Penny might've lied to me and manipulated me to do everything, but she's not that terrible of a person.

She even gave me a TM for Draco Meteor. Somehow, I don't think my Pokemon can summon comets like that.

Penny promised to offer help if I need to. That's really nice of her, and I feel like she's quite trustworthy after everything we've been through.

Wait? Didn't Arven say we need someone who is good at machines? I think I found someone! Not sure about her battling skills though.

The Final Ingredient (Zero Gameplay)

Last time, I beat Penny, who is actually Cassiopeia, and everything seems to be settled with Team Star.

I have one more thing to do at school, and it is to take the Home Ec Final Exam! I need to get my A+ Grade for this class!

I don't usually study this much for exams, but I really want to show everyone how devoted I am to this subject!

I've never received Sparkling Powers, but I know they make Shiny Pokemon appear more often. Maybe I should try one in the future.

I remember Mr. Saguaro talking about this. Egg Power has nothing to do with how strong the hatched Pokemon is!

More people making food means more ingredients and a larger bread, which in turn increase effectiveness of everything! Simple as that.

Even Rotelle hates this, I still need to wash him often just so he doesn't get too dirty.

Not wearing matching uniforms can make people go sicky easily, but it is really not a strict requirement from the academy.

Phew. That test was a little easier than I thought, and I hope I didn't freak up any questions.

I got perfect score! Yay! And I even get some sweet candies to celebrate! Taking exams has never been happier!

Our classes are over, but I still need to thank Mr. Saguaro personally.

Last time I talked to him, Mr. Saguaro told me he actually really likes sweet food, and he has heard of a really sweet condiment.

Oh! He was actually referring to the Sweet Herba Mystica! Well, I don't think Arven left any extra when we beat Titan Klawf, and that was a looooong time ago.

I'm not sure if I can find any more Sweet Herba Mystica, but I'll try my best to help my favorite teacher out!

And of course, I rounded up this eventful day with a well-earned meal in the school cafeteria.

Honestly, I'm confident to take the Champion Assessment with my team now, but I'm actually still not qualified to do so ...

They say I'm missing the final Gym Badge, so I went back to places to find the final Gym.

I even brought Penne with me to see if he can spot anything, but I do not think I miss anything in the artistic city of Artazon.

Vaultin' Maltagliati! You reckon I miss anything from Cascarrafa? Could it be this adorable dolphin right here?

Of course, I can't come to Cascarrafa without visiting Kofu, right? He's busy with his restaurant, but I'm sure he won't mind a quick meal.

Speaking of meal, I then went to Treasure Eatery to renew my VIP membership. Soba Noodle Soup has been my favorite dish lately, but honestly, everything here is wonderful.

Farfalle has chopped everything down here in Medali, and I'm sure Mr. Larry doesn't have another badge to give me.

Levincia is the biggest city I've been to, and to this point, I still get lost easily around the advertisement boards.

Iono is busy with her streams, and she won't be able to help me out. Tough luck.

If anyone fancies a candlelit dinner, Montenevera is the perfect place to go. But I'm not here for that.

Lotty vibes with the creepy atmosphere of this place, but Ryme's concert is way over, and I won't be able to find anyone else to battle.

Glaseado Mountain is still as cold as ever, and I'm glad Cavatelli is always here to warm us up.

I don't want to search everywhere in the mountain, and I highly doubt anyone other than Grusha would set up a Gym here.

Running around towns has been fun, but the best thing to do is always the Emotional Spectrum Practices held in Alfornada.

Getting surrounded by Psychic-type Pokemon gives me so much joy! I'm sure Cappelletti agrees as well!

Ms. Dendra gave me a Sitrus Berry for my good work in the ESP. Let's run away before she asks about my Battle Studies assignment.

Admiring all the Psychic-type Pokemon in the Alfornada Gym is an entertaining activity, but it brings me nowhere.

I thought I went to all of the Gyms already, but my map is telling me I miss one. I wonder ...

OHMYGOSH! HOW CAN I FORGET ABOUT THE CORTONDO GYM?

Suddenly, a desire for revenge arises in my heart. But before that, let's get some nice treats from Patisserie Soapberry.

Actually, this is my first Gym, and I completely forgot about it. I guess, it will now also be my last Gym.

Nemona's getting excited now. Do you think I should ask her to join Arven and I now?

If that's the case, the only thing I can do now is to finish my final Gym Challenge, after what feels like a few months already.

Let's get this Gym Challenge campaign over with! Katy is my first Gym Leader and also my last!

Penne, there's no reason to hold back! Unleash your strongest Hurricane!

That Nymble took out my entire team last time, and this time, it didn't survive even the slighest blow.

Tarountula might be using super effective moves on Cavatelli, but there's no way it can hit through his sturdy armor.

You know what they say, "Revenge is a dish". I think we should really heat up this dish with some Flamethrower then.

Well, I've never actual tried revenge in any types of cuisines, so that's weird. Anyways, Katy Terastallized her Teddiursa as a last resort.

Well, I don't plan to hold back, so I let Lotty unlock her own potential with her Tera Jewel as well.

Even the sweetest honey bear won't be able to stop Lotty's Tera-power! Take that!

Sorry, little cub. You are not stealing my honey jar today.

They did drop like flies, and I really don't like seeing flies flying around my food.

You know what? I really don't mind eating some bread right now. This is my afternoon pastry hour.

Wait, what? I get to have some handmade treats from Katy herself? Maybe she isn't that bad!

Hey! I'll take my two strawberry cupcakes, and I'll forgive everything that has happened in the past!

Hm, actually, I prefer vanilla buttercream on my cake instead of any random TMs to throw away later.

Katy gave me a TM for Pounce. Maybe Rotelle will like pouncing on his targets, but this move is probably not too useful otherwise.

Right after I got back to the Gym, Nemona congratulates me on my success. Honestly, I won't be able to do this without her.

To think that months ago I ran back Mesagoza crying after losing to Katy and now I just defeated her for my eighth Gym Badge. Wow.

Ms. Geeta is here as well, and she encourages me to take on the Pokemon League after tackling every Gym.

I guess Arven did say I should only ask Nemona to join us after becoming a Champion, so I pretty much have to do this.

Nemona ran away immediately, and I'm glad Ms. Geeta remembered to show me where the League is before she leaves.

Without hesitation, I got back to Mesagoza and guess what I found near the western gate.

An Every Wich Way, of course! How can I continue my adventure without some Tropical Sandwich in my stomach?

Seriously though, being a Champion sounds like a difficult task, and I have to feed my Pokemon to give them the strength.

So, it turns out the League is hiding behind this tunnel right next to Every Wich Way. I guess, the staff working there like sandwiches, too.

I'm honestly disappointed to see a severe lack of restaurants around the League, but it makes finding the place much easier.

Well, I think that's naturally the next thing to do, since I beat every Gym, every Titan and every Team Star boss.

Oh right, isn't Ms. Geeta the one running the Pokemon League? I guess I will be meeting her soon then.

Yes, please. This is probably the only way to convince Nemona to join Arven and I.

I would've never thought my Gym Badge collections would work in my favor one day.

Oh, I just need to get interviewed by Rika to become a Champion? Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Katy has a full team of bugs, which is why my Pokemon hate them. That taught me how Pokemon types work in a hard way.

Huh? My first partner is Ralts, which is the Feeling Pokemon according to the Pokedex.

What is this Grass Cat Duckling nonsense? I've never caught any of these.

Hey, Rika, are you sure you get the answer right? 'Cause I do not recall having a Fire Croc on my team. I might've eaten one as dinner only.

Hey, just between you and me, I think Rika's memory is fading. She forgot what Pokemon I use and is now repeating her questions.

Oh, freak no. My life would've been so much easier without Pokemon. I would be simply eating and playing video games and sleeping.

Well, it's not like Rika would let me through if I answer no, so let's pretend to really like Pokemon like a crazy fanatic.

Hooray! I passes the test, that should mean ... Wait, what do you mean the first part?

Oh come on! There are more to do to become a Champion? I should've just said no to that last question!

Ground Meat (1)

Last time, I passed the Champion Quiz, and I was told there is another segment to pass through before I can officially become a Champion!

And of course, I'll need to do more Pokemon battles. Why would I assume otherwise?

And we've been told several times there are some strong trainers working in the Pokemon League.

This will not be a piece of cake, so I really should eat some strawberry cakes before I go on.

Rika is the interviewer of the first part of the test, so naturally, she's the first one to battle me in the Battle Test.

I've known Rika for a while now, but this is our first time battling. I don't know how to feel about this!

And our battle kicks of with a fish fighting another fish! Hungry minds think alike, I guess.

Well, Rika's Whiscash looks deliciously meaty, and I think Corallini needs some bulking up to catch up to that.

Corallini is swimming in air, but she still got hit by that flaming Earth Power. That is just unfair.

Corallini showed Whiscash who's the boss around with some Wave Crash to splash on its face!

Too bad Corallini severely injured herself with that move, and she doesn't have that much health to begin with.

Which means that Whiscash can casually finish Corallini off with another Earth Power. Our sashimi battle ends in a big L.

Speaking of sashimi, you can't make prepare your dishes without great chopping techniques.

Just like every great sushi chef, Farfalle puts some leaves on his dish, which were more than enough to slice Whiscash to death.

They say water and fire don't go well together, but here Rika is using a volcano camel after a giant catfish.

Camerupt looks like it has a sturdy body that resembles a volcano, but Farfalle's Sacred Sword put it out immediately!

Donphan is what Iron Treads look like without its daily iron intake. Kids, remember to eat beef.

Elephants eat leaves, but not Donphan, obviously. It almost fainted with just one Leaf Blade!

Donphan lashed out with some Earthquakes, but as a steadfast knight, Farfalle isn't afraid of that.

Another Leaf Blade and Donphan's gone. Too bad I don't like elephant meat.

It's been a while, but I still remember that time I got swept by a Dugtrio. I don't like seeing it again.

Dugtrio looks like a pack of sausages, which is why it always surprises me how fast and strong it is! Farfalle, you did great, but now's time for you to take a rest.

Ferrazzuoli is here to save the day, and apparently, deers are quite intimidating to moles.

Dugtrio used *cough cough* Sandstorm, and it's *cough* getting difficult to brea ... *blurp*

Ferrazzuoli gathered energy to blast a ball, but he couldn't quite see with so much sand floating in the air!

Aw man, this sandstorm is really bad for your health. WE ARE DYING!

At this point, I don't think your Leftovers sandwiches might not be safe to eat.

Dugtrio struck Ferrazzuoli with Earthquake, but as a deer, he's quite used to that.

Ferrazzuoli went for Energy Ball again, and this time he managed to aim at this target!

To compensate for the miss last time, Ferrazzuoli even landed a critical hit! Good job!

Uh-oh, Rika is starting her monologue, and that never means anything good.

Ground Meat (2)

Rika sent in her final Pokemon, which is a Clodsire! I feel like my mind goes empty when I look at its face!

Clodsire might not look like it, but it is actually Rika's ace Pokemon, and you know what that means.

Rika Terastallizes Clodsire into an even more ground-breaking Ground-type!

Ferrazzuoli went with the steady strategy of Body Slam, but that didn't do much to Closdire at all.

Clodsire might've lost its Poison-typing, but that doesn't make it any less toxic. (Just like people you meet irl, amirite?)

Since Ferrazzuoli has been badly poisoned, he will take damage every turn. That's not good for his health!

Clodisre even bought time with Protect. What an evil strategy to worsen Ferrazzuoli's poison!

Clodsire couldn't keep protecting itself, and that gave time for Ferrazzuoli to blast it with Energy Ball.

Wait! Is this an earthquake alert? I should run and hide under cover then!

Oh, you mean Earthquake as in the Pokemon move. Well, I'm sure Ferrazzuoli can take one more of those.

Ferrazzuoli barely hanged on with his dearest life, and the sandstorm subsided just in time! Things are looking good!

Except his poison was bad enough to take him out! That was unfortunate, but I know he tried his best already.

If Rika is trying to make me zone out with her Clodsire, maybe Lumache is capable of doing that too.

(Guess who is stupid enough to press Surf against Clodsire, forgetting it probably has Water Absorb!)

Staying hydrated is very important, and I'm glad Clodsire adhering to that rule.

Clodsire went for its Toxic strategy again, and now I think Lumache's shell is inedible.

I gave my opponent some free heal, meanwhile Lumache will start losing health? That's a bad turn for me.

I don't like stalls. Unless we're talking about food stalls. Those are neat.

At least for right now, Lumache doesn't need to worry too much about her poison thanks to her unpoisoned Leftovers.

If Surf didn't work so well, I hope Psychic will be a good choice to wreck Clodsire's non-existing brain!

Clodsire went for another Tera-boosted Earthquake, and luckily, Lumache got enough health to take that!

I think Clodsire is more toxic than it has ever been. Despite not being Poison-type now.

Lumache teaches us slow and steady wins the race, since Clodsire's stalling tactics didn't stop its demise!

Poor Clodsire. Maybe I'll feed it some tuna fish after this battle. I think it deserves some extra dinner.

But of course, Lumache deserves an even bigger dinner with her fantastic performance!

I won that battle, but only after sacrificing three of my Pokemon. This Elite Test is not going to be a cakewalk indeed.

And the remaining Elite Four members are just going to get stronger and stronger! I'm not sure if I'm ready for them ...

Stainless Steel (1)

Beating Rika is just the first step of the Elite Test. There are still three more strong trainers waiting for me!

Oh wait, this little sprout is an Elite Four member? Maybe I really can do this.

Oh dear child, you done talking crap here. There's no way I lose to a little child like you. Come on.

The second Elite Four battle and I'll be facing Poppy the little child. I'm honestly not worried at all.

While you're at it, can you smush some potatoes for me? I'mma eat some mashed potato after I defeat you.

So, the Elite Four members really like using elephants in battles. Noted, and Ferrazzuoli is not even scared.

Ferrazzuoli was the target of several Earthquakes in the last battle, and now's the time for him to unleash some on his own!

You'd think a mountainous Pokemon like Copperajah would be able to adapt to Earthquakes, but apparently not.

Copperajah threw some sneaky pebbles on our side of the field. Maybe it should be renamed to Stonerajah.

Another Earthquake and Copperajah's down. Copper must not be very good for your stamina, otherwise I'd be eating those for minerals all day.

Poppy sent out Corviknight next, and that thing looks like it will steal my lunch box. I hate it.

I'll need some protective barriers for my precious lunch box, so how about some Reflect for defense?

I guess Corviknight has like the same idea, too, since it is using Iron Defense to build up its Defense.

The only big birds Ferrazzuoli like hanging out with is Penne, and I think it's time for him to run away.

Oops. I forgot Cavatelli is wearing his war boots, and those sneaky pebbles really hurt his feet.

Cavatelli also needed to take a Body Press to his face, but that shouldn't be a big problem thanks to his sturdy armor.

Cavatelli even found time to eat his Leftovers. I'm proud to have raised him well.

Time for us to lash back with a Flamethrower to roast Corviknight!

Oh, a Bronzong. I know a thing or two about this Pokemon, and I'm glad to see that you are raising one as well.

The trickiest things about fighting Bronzong is that some of them are really good at taking heat, and I'll need to test whether that's true for Poppy's Bronzong.

Bronzong is a bringer of natural disasters, so an Earthquake should not be too surprising. Thankfully, it didn't do that much to Cavatelli.

Don't let Campy see this with its red glowing eyes, but I just sent this Bronzong back to the Bronze Age.

Cavatelli is pretty good at defending himself, but he would still appreciate hiding behind that Reflect screen.

I don't like seeing Magnezone, because it looks like it'll abduct all the cows in the farm. Give me my steaks back!

Magnezone looks very flammable, so naturally, I have Cavatelli toast it with Flamethrower.

Cavatelli isn't the only one with a sturdy coat on, as Magnezone also hanged on tight with its sturdy body.

Magnezone discharged its power, and I'm glad Cavatelli's body isn't a conductor.

Doesn't matter much, since Magnezone couldn't take another Flamethrower. This battle has been nothing other than Cavatelli spitting fire so far.

Poppy still has one Pokemon, though. I'm still not too worried, like what can this little girl even do?

And Poppy's final Pokemon, is yet another little girl! Seriously? Am I just here to bully five-year-old children?

Just like what I expected, Poppy Terastallized her hammer child with a Tera-Steel. Let's not derp this one, myself.

Woah! I wasn't expecting Tinkaton to cut through Cavatelli with Stone Edges! That almost caught us off-guard.

Luckily for us, Tinkaton's new dress-up doesn't make it any less weak to Flamethrower. It almost got roasted to crisp in one hit.

Unfortunately, Tinkaton is holding a giant hammer, but it runs really fast. Cavatelli couldn't land the final blow before getting cut by more Stone Edges.

Tinkaton has been severely weakened, and I trust Ferrazzuoli to take care of this situation without any issues.

Who knows a child would be as stubborn as steel? Pokemon battles do weird things to your brain.

Tinktaton's big hammer isn't just for looks. It also allows Tinkaton to unleash an ultra strong Tera-boosted Gigaton Hammer!

Ferrazzuoli got squished, but that surprisingly didn't do that much damage. Maybe just a few shattered bones, but he's mostly fine.

In fact, Ferrazzuoli was so fine he could still make the ground shake. And Tinktaon did not take that one nicely.

And Ferrazzuoli just needs to show some swags by landing on a critical hit as the final blow.

Now, if you can lend me that Gigaton Hammer for tenderizing my pork chops, I can give you a sandwich as reward.

If the remaining Elite Four members are all little kids, then conquering the League shouldn't be a problem at all!

Ok, now don't cry please. My Psychic-type Pokemon really don't like absorbing sad energy.

I can't believe I'm halfway done my Elite Test! But I also can't believe they expected a child to beat me, like what the heck?

Excuse me, Mr. Larry? Like, THE Mr. Larry?

Woah! I wasn't expecting to see Mr. Larry here. In fact, I've never run into Mr. Larry outside of restaurants. What a surprise!

I thought a picnic would be a great reunion with Mr. Larry, but of course, they don't allow that in the League. Boring.

I guess I'll have to battle Mr. Larry in the tradition way. I'm not too worried, 'cause I've defeated him in Pokemon battles once before.

Man, no wonder why Mr. Larry always looks so tired. How many jobs does he have? Being adults must suck ...

Oh wait, I was expecting Mr. Larry to use the same Pokemon like last time, but maybe not then.

I mean, I don't mind filing complaints, but what if she punishes Mr. Larry by closing Treasure Eatery forever? I just can't risk it.

Let's have a rematch with Mr. Larry, who is using Flying-type Pokemon this time around! I admire his flexibility in Pokemon choices, as well as his great tastes in food of course.

Hey, if Mr. Larry changing his team means he can now bring banana monsters to our dinner parties, I don't mind.

You know what. Smart move. I bet Tropius will grow bigger and tastier bananas under strong sunlight.

Poppy used Stealth Rock really well last time, and now is the time for me to try that strategy out. Let's see how Campy throw pointy rocks!

Torpius shot Campy with Dragon Pulse, but I'm not too worried as its attack is quite weak. It should just focus on harvesting fruits.

Speaking of weak attacks, I wasn't expecting much when I taught Campy Rock Blast, but that move was surprisingly effective!

Campy did alright with just hitting three rocks. Now, if only it can connect more hits in one go!

Man, this feels more like a snack break than an Elite Test battle, when I'm eating banana sandwiches and Leftovers from my meal.

Tropius tried to slice through Campy with Air Slash, but that ain't breaking Campy's sturdy bronze body.

And since Campy was so unfazed by the Air Slash, nothing could stop it from blasting more rocks and knocking Tropius out!

Mr. Larry sent Altaria out next, but it had to take some damage from Campy's pointed stones! Spiky!

Oops. I wasn't expecting cotton candy bird to breathe fire, but here it is spitting flames under the sun.

It might seem like Campy took heavy damage from Flamethrower, but its heatproof coating should help it resist the heat.

I'd prefer to have as much protection as I possibly need, and Campy is putting up Reflect to prepare for the worst.

I'm glad the Reflect screen didn't melt from the heat, but Campy's Leftovers might.

There aren't too many things to do, so I had Campy throw more rocks at Mr. Larry's Pokemon.

Imagine opening a box of chicken nuggets and there are only two of them. What. The. Fuck.

Considering Altaria is breathing fire like it's a cooking stove, I'm glad the sun is finally over.

Even the strongest metal won't like getting burned repetitively, and Campy's getting more and more worn out.

Luckily, it just took a few rock-blasting to knock Altaria out. Campy is doing so hot today!

Mr. Larry does bring one Pokemon back from his last battle, and it's his favorite, Staraptor!

I remember our last matchup being quite unpleasant, and that is definitely one of the most intimidating birds I've seen.

Campy won't be able to stay in for long, so I switched it out to Lumache.

MR. LARRY? YOU CAN'T JUST STEAL MY LEFTOVERS LIKE THAT. It's not like I won't share if you ask!

Hey, not every kind of shellfish is scared of getting bitten by birds of prey. Lumache, for one, doesn't care having her tail bitten at all.

Staraptor also hurt its head while slamming into Lumache's shell. And that's why you should hide behind your shells.

Birds don't like flying in the cold, and Staraptor is no exception. It got hit by a chilling Ice Beam and couldn't fly anymore!

If Mr. Larry likes Staraptor so much, I wonder what it tastes like. Like stuffed turkey, maybe.

After that difficult fight against Staraptor, the Reflect screen has finished its job and left the chat.

Hey, I have an Oricorio, too! I remember I met Quadrefiore while she's in her pom-pom suit as well!

I know that Oricorio's Revelation Dance changes flavors depending on its form, which must mean this one is using an Electric-type attack.

Well, there was no way Lumache could've taken that electric shock. I guess Mr. Larry is in the mood of some fried shellfish today.

I want to join the dance, but Quadrefiore isn't around. Instead, I had Farfalline copy Oricorio's Dancer ability for a fire performance!

I heard there is a Pokemon that can heal anyone and anything by dancing under a crescent moon. I wonder if Farfalline can do that too.

Well, I think Farfalline just achieved the opposite by knocking Oricorio in one hit. Oops.

Hey, I'm not that same child as the one who wandered in Treasure Eatery just for the food! I'm here to win actually.

Mr. Larry is down to his final Pokemon, which is a Flamigo this time. I think I can deal with that!

I was expecting Mr. Larry to spice things up with a jumbo-size burger at the end, but I guess Terastallizing fits the bill more.

Oh wait, if Flamigo Terastallizes into a Flying-type, then it wouldn't be weak to Psychic-type moves. Gawddarnit!

But of course, Farfalline has Thunderbolt ready for cases like this! She gave Flamigo a good old zap down to the tiniest health possible!

Mr. Larry is about to go all-out with his attacks, and I know he isn't putting up a facade this time around.

Ouch! Flamigo proved its bravery by slamming right into Farfalline's body! That hurts so much! She wasn't made to take that!

Brave Bird is a powerful move, but it comes with a terrible recoil damage! It is quite a risky choice!

Wait, did Flamigo just knock itself out from that nasty recoil damage? Oh that's hilarious.

And Farfalline even managed to recover some of her health back with her Wiki Berry! Sweet!

Well, that was an unexpected way to victory, but I'll gladly take that.

That was a fruitful rematch! I sure don't mind fighting Mr. Larry for several times more.

La Primera likes me? I mean, I'm flabbergasted, but do you think she'll invite me to a buffet dinner next time?

Dragon's Eye (1)

Mr. Larry was the third Elite trainer, which means I have only one more trainer to beat to become a Champion!

I believe Mr. Hassel is up next, but he doesn't answer the door. I don't want to rush him, but I am getting hungry.

Anyways, it took a while, but Mr. Hassel eventually came out. Good for him, honestly.

I must not give up! Just one more trainer and my mission will be accomplished!

Hmm, I do wish to get some sprout dishes when we're done. Those are always refreshing.

I did hear a lot about Mr. Hassel from my schoolmates, and apparently, he is quite a famous dragon tamer.

They also told me that Mr. Hassel is a very strong trainer, like possibly even stronger than Nemona! I must not let my guard down.

I think Campy will be a good lead, 'cause as we all know, bronze bells don't believe in dragons.

Noivern tried to bite Campy with some Super Fangs. It's so unfair. Why did it do so much damage when Campy has a metal body?

Stealth Rock worked really well in the last battle. I really like that strategy and went for that move again.

At least Campy will get to bite on its Leftovers after getting bitten.

Noivern bit Campy again with more Super Fangs, but its fangs are getting less and less super.

I know that Noivern is a speedy bat, so Campy's Gyro Ball should work quite well. It could've been better, but oh well.

Noivern switched up its strategy and slashed Campy with air. I'm not sure how well it works, but I'm at least glad Noivern doesn't use real swords.

However, Campy actually is really terrified of air, and it refuses to move after taking that hit.

Noivern then blasted Campy with some Dragon Pulse, but as I mentioned, Campy doesn't believe in those.

Another Gyro Ball to hit Noivern. I just hope it won't confuse Campy with big bouncy rice balls.

I'm glad Noivern is using Dragon Pulse again, 'cause Campy has no issues taking those.

Campy won't stop rolling until Noivern's gone! I got the first KO for the team!

Oh my lasagna! I wasn't quite ready to face a fearsome Haxorus. I'm glad the pointy stones are doing their jobs though.

Haxorus even broke the mold around the field. It really scared me, and I made Campy switch out.

I think Lumache would be able to handle Haxorus better. If she doesn't even feel pain when her tail gets bitten, nothing can hurt her.

Yikes! Haxorus is starving and crunches anything it sees! Lumache actually doesn't like having her front crunched up!

Speaking of crunches, Lumache just ate her leftover apples and recovered some of her health.

Haxorus crunched Lumache again, and this time it felt even stronger!

I know dragons don't like cold weather, so having Lumache blast Haxorus with Ice Beam is a great idea.

That being said, since Lumache didn't quite knock Haxorus out, she has to peace out to avoid Haxorus lashing back.

Farfalline is here to tell us why fairy tales are better than dragon tales. You go, girl.

Farfalline is also not afraid of getting hit by Crunch. That's why you need to become a little fairy.

As we all know, dragons cannot be shined upon by strong moonlight. Just one Moonblast, and Haxorus is done.

Dragalge is the next dragon in order, but first, it needs to get cut by some stealthy stones.

Farfalline doesn't like seeing rubbish algae, so I'll switch her out.

Campy, on the other hand, has no problems facing algae dragons, so here it goes.

Campy is immune to Sludge Bomb, which means it doesn't need to worry about food poisoning while eating all sorts of food!

Campy is getting low in health, so it'll have to take every bite out of those Leftovers to stand a chance.

Actually, never mind. Campy got hit by a big blast of Hydro Pump. You think that would ring the bell inside its body?

Let's hope Orecchiette would be able to pick up the trash. We all need to work for the environment.

Orecchiette shows Dragalge his brain power by slamming it with his brain, physically.

Hmm, that's why you shouldn't touch poisonous food. You may get poisoned by their body!

Orecchiette opened his emergency berry kit and found himself a Lum Berry! That's good for your body!

You know what, I don't mind some Fiji apples for my post-meal dessert today.

I prefer to have my fruits frozen, so let's hit that Flapple with some Ice Punch.

If you remove the flapping part of Flapple, then it really will just become a regular apple.

I'm almost there! Mr. Hassel is already down to his final Pokemon.

Mr. Hassel's final Pokemon is Baxcalibur! I already got the upper hand, 'cause that kaiju monster doesn't like Stealth Rocks!

As expected, Mr. Hassel powers Baxcalibur up with a Tera-Dragon! I guess that counts as double-dragon then.

Baxcalibur lives in cold mountains, but it doesn't like taking the cold when it is wearing a dragon Tera-Jewel.

Uh-oh. Mr. Hassel unleashes Baxcalibur's full power with a Tera-boosted move and a dad joke pun.

Woah! That looks fancy as heck. I forgot to even move when Baxcalibur used that Glaive Rush.

Yikes. That took out Orecchiette in one hit. What a powerful move. Let's hope it won't use that move again.

Pappardelle is always my go-to when I need someone to pick up a weakened foe. Let's go!

Well, we know dragons don't like facing fairies. While Pappardelle isn't a fairy per se, she still can cast some Dazzling Gleam.

How many did I score critical hits today? Especially as a finish blow?

Anyways, Baxcalibur lost its Tera-jewel, and more importantly, all of its health.

Good job, everyone! You've done it!

Even the mighties dragon will fall to the strongest psychics in Paldea!

I wasn't expecting to see my Art teacher cry, but here he cries. He's actually more of a crybaby than I am, somehow.

YAY! I passed the Champion Test, finally! Surely there won't be anything else I need to do, right?

Oh, come on. I'm still not a Champion yet? How long do I need to wait? 'Cause I might as well grab dinner first.

Oh, but of course, if this final opponent is left for last, she has gotta be even stronger than all of the Elite Four combined together.

Last time, I beat Mr. Hassel, the final Elite Four member and thought I'm done with the Elite Test.

Oh, I'm getting nervous. I've heard a lot about Ms. Geeta from Nemona, and I know she never holds back in Pokemon battles!

I still remember when Ms. Geeta first recognized my talent, and today is the day for me to prove it to her.

Ms. Geeta is the Champion of all Champions and is the final trainer I need to defeat today.

Woah! I wasn't expecting Ms. Geeta to be using Espathra. That's a great way to start our battle! Psychic versus Psychic.

Espathra is a dazzling Pokemon, and those gleams could've hurt Rotelle a lot if he were still a little dung beetle.

Rotelle just needs to scream loudly to defeat Espathra! Too bad Espathra isn't actually a flying bird.

Hey, if Ms. Geeta is just testing me what Psychic-type Pokemon are weak to, I can pass this with flying colors.

Ms. Geeta's next Pokemon is Kingambit, who is apparently the overlord of all chess pieces and is able to gain strength from fallen pieces.

The first thing Kingambit does when it enters the field is to give us a kowtow. Such a polite Pokemon.

What the f-lip! That kowtow distracted me, and Rotelle just got sliced by Kingambit's sharp head.

Ugh! That move was so unfair! I wasn't even prepared for it. Kingambit is such an evil Pokemon!

Poor Rotelle. At least he went down taking Espathra with him.

Even the most supreme king is vulnerable to the sharpest knight in the kingdom. Let's send out Farfalle for revenge then.

Haha! Kingabmit just sliced through Rotelle, and now it is sliced into pieces by Farfalle's Sacred Sword! How the turntables!

Some people really do not like the taste of mutton, but I guess Ms. Geeta is not one of those.

I mean, I can't eat Gogoat while it's standing like that. Let's chop it down with some Sacred Sword.

Gogoat then uses Bulk Up to build more muscles! But that will make its meat way too stiff.

One more chop and Gogoat's done. On second thought, I'll settle for some goat milk instead.

I mean, if we're about to start a victory picnic after this Champion battle, I'll need a table to hold everything.

Avalugg is one sturdy table! It didn't fall down from just one Scared Sword. That will make it a great choice as dinner table.

Woah woah woah! Even if you don't want to work as a dinner table, you don't need to shake everything off with that.

Ok, maybe if you don't want to be a table, you can at least be a decent refrigerator.

Wait! Does Ms. Geeta really have two Psychic-type Pokemon on her team? But I didn't bring Maltagliati with me today!

Ms. Geeta keeps sending out these Psychic-type Pokemon, and I know so darn well what they are weak to.

Already? I feel like we just started battling, and Ms. Geeta is already down to her final Pokemon. Oh no, I'm getting even more nervous!

Ms. Geeta's final Pokemon is a blue cauliflower, um I mean, Glimmora!

Of course, Glimmora is already Ms. Geeta's final Pokemon, and you know what that means.

You guessed it. Ms. Geeta Terastallized Glimmora into Rock-type. I guess it really isn't supposed to be edible, eh.

Glimmora living up to its name and blasts a Dazzling Gleam. That sucks 'cause Farfalle is afraid of that.

My own ace Pokemon is down, but I'm still not too worried. Just like how Conchiglie is always taking things slowly.

Uh-oh. You know things are about to get bad when Ms. Geeta is starting a monologue.

Glimmora gathered Rock-energy and unleashed a Tera Blast. I actually think I've yet to see this move in action. Wow.

If Glimmora is decorated with shiny rocks now, it should not like taking surfs to its face.

That Tera Blast is actually quite strong, and Conchiglie really needs to eat his Leftovers to stay healthy.

In fact, Conchiglie needs to protect himself for one turn just so he gets to eat more of his Leftovers.

Glimmora just chucks more rocks at Conchiglie's face! He's getting low in health, but he is certainly still thriving!

And there we go. One more Surf to wash Glimmora away.

Conchiglie broke Glimmora's rock crystals, as well as its flower pedals.

Good job, Conchiglie. You are officially the king, now. You are Slowkingking, I guess.

Phew. Honestly, this battle is easier than I thought, but I'm still so glad I made it.

Now that Ms. Geeta has made the announcement, that should mean I'm officially a Champion-ranked trainer. Can you believe that?

I've never imagined myself to get a Champion title in anything other than eating contests.

Well, I did all this just so I can talk to Nemona, so I'm glad she is here to congratulate me.

Now that we are both Champion-ranked trainers, I think Nemona will listen to me when I ask her to join our trip to Area Zero.

If Arven is my food rival, then it only makes sense to call Nemona my battle rival.

Oh my flipping lord. Why do I expect Nemona to agree to what I'm requesting before an all-out battle?

I'm glad Ms. Geeta is here to help me, 'cause there's no way Nemona will let me go without Ms. Geeta stepping in.

We need to decide on a place to battle, and I think the Treasure Eatery is a fantastic place for that.

Well, I want to have a fulfilling dinner after that battle, so I figure the Treasure Eatery is a great choice, but Nemona seems to disagree.

Didn't I meet Nemona outside of her house? That should be quite a special place for this rival match.

Oh what. Maybe you shouldn't ask for my opinions if you are going to ban everything I say!

Fine. Let's go to Mesagoza, 'cause it is literally over there behind the mountain.

Yeah. That place that broke my heart, 'cause I filled in the wrong academy application form. Great memories.

You know? This Treasure Hunt definitely changes me in different ways, in both positive and negative lights.

Nemona already heads to Mesagoza without waiting. I have some other business to take care of, so she'll need to wait a bit.

Last time, I finally became a Champion-ranked trainer, but I'm still not confident I can beat Nemona even if we're technically on the same level now.

I need some time to calm myself down, and I think the burned scent of Socarrat Trail will do the job.

And if I want to relax myself, there's no other better ways than holding a picnic for all of my Pokemon.

Hey, Ferrazzuoli! If you are still going to sleep every time I start a picnic, I'll abandon you! Like, for real this time.

If you are not going to enjoy my delicious sandwiches, you are staying in the PC box for-EVER.

Hold on, Ferrazzuoli! Where are you running to? I can't keep up with your dashing speed!

Don't go there! That seal is probably dangerous, I think. I mean, I don't trust anything that emits uranium green light.

Wait! Where did Ferrazzuoli go? Did he just bump his way into the seal? Aw man, why can't he just slow down and listen to me for one second?

You see Ferrazzuoli must've been severely corrupted, since he isn't normally weak to Sacred Sword. We must help him before it's too late.

Ugh! Ferrazzuoli is throwing a tantrum at Farfalle! I guess I was a little too harsh on him.

Dear Ferrazzuoli, I'll forgive you if you'll just return to normal. I don't want to hurt you. I just want you back.

Oh no, what if I accidentally killed Ferrazzuoli? After we've been through so much together ...

Oh, baby! He's back! And he doesn't look so terrified anymore! I think he's freed from the vessel!

Adige vs Lumache

Maybe Socarrat Trail isn't a great picnic site after all, let's head a bit south and get to Casseroya Lake instead.

There are fresh coastal fish around the lakes here, and I'll never run out of ingredients.

NOOO, Lumache! You can't splash everywhere when I have the picnic table out! You're making everything wet!

Argh! I can't make sandwiches because all the recipes are wet now! I hate you, Lumache!

I'll never forgive you for this, Lumache! You ruined my precious evening picnic!

Hey, Lumache! Don't go there! I don't trust anything that emits a poisonous purple light.

Hold on. Did Lumache just hide in the purple seal? She's such a hermit crab.

*sigh* Why do my Pokemon keep running into these evil shrines? Let's hope Lumache doesn't come back haunted by some ancient items.

Wah! I'm glad Lumache found some ancient recipes written on wooden tablets, but why the heck is wrong with her eyes? Eek!

Did these ancient tablets corrupt Lumache somehow? And now I gotta fight Lumache?

Well, I trust Penne to blow away those evil tablets. He's an ancient guardian, so he should know how to fight against them.

There we go! Penne avoided that Power Whip like a champ. I knew sending him out is the right choice!

You know what? Burning those cursed recipes with a Heat Wave should be able to solve our problems.

You see? Lumache must've been seriously cursed, 'cause she would normally take Heat Wave really well!

These ancient tablets are trying to drain Penne's life force, and I imagine Lumache's energy is also getting gradually drained if we don't free her as soon as possible!

No time to think now. Let's cast a big BIG Hurricane and blow away everything. Let my dear Lumache go now!

Uh-oh. I didn't accidentally kill Lumache, did I? I swear, darling, I'll forgive anything you did if you'd just come back safe and unharmed.

Lumache was so close to losing herself to the cursed tablets, but I'm glad she's fine now. And it seems like she has forgiven me for everything I said, too.

I've had enough of falling leaves and angry lakes. Let's switch our picnic site to the bamboo forest. What can possibly go wrong here?

I saw on JoltikTok someone have those really beautiful jade utensils. I really want some for myself! Apparently, their fish Pokemon find some hidden treasures in the deep sea.

Aw man, I really need some gorgeous picnic tools for myself. Why can't my Pokemon bring me good materials to craft those? Corallini, you're stinkin' useless!

Hold on, Corallini! Do you know where I can find some sunken treasures? I'm not sure if this waterfall is the right place, though.

Especially when this cave is filled with Houndoom and flying bats. Those are never good signs.

Wait, did Corallini swim her way into the seal? How's that even possible? She can barely breathe on land.

"I ... ENVY ... YOUR ... MOBILITY ... GO ... AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ..."

Woah! Where did Corallini find those hot-looking jade glasses? And why is her body orange now? Huh?

Did those beautiful beads burn Corallini's soul? If that's the case, I'll have to break the beads with brute force.

You know Corallini must've had her mind controlled by the beads, 'cause she usually doesn't like bouncing up and down in Pokemon battles.

Well, how am I supposed to fry the fish if I can't even see the fish?

And guess what? If Corallini is playing the dodge game with Bounce, Conchiglie can also dodge her attack with Protect.

I really don't like how Corallini is staring into my soul. I want my adorable triggerfish back.

Uh-oh. Corallini is showing her swag in her new outfit, which for some reasons make Conchiglie really excited.

The problem is, Conchiglie is way too excited and confused himself. Sometimes having two heads isn't better than one.

Even if Corallini is corrupted by those flaming orbs, she is still an aquatic fish, which is why I'm surprised to see Surf do so much damage.

Ruination? That must've been how Corallini is mind-controlled by those beads. Conchiglie, fight for your life and escape from the evil grasp!

Phew. Conchiglie used Surf and defeated Corallini. If she can come back normal without those green eyes, I'll take back everything I said.

Those evil beads almost took Corallini's life! I'm glad she's freed. Let's just settle for normal-looking utensils now.

Casunziei told me he knew a good picnic spot free away from all evil. But I think he just wants a family reunion with this bright Jolteon.

Hmm... I don't know feel about this location. There is nothing but giant (and laggy) windmills over here.

And I didn't bring my kitchen knife to chop these onions. Gosh darn it, Casunziei. I hate this place, and I can't even buy anything around here.

Wait, Casunziei, why are you running to that cliff? Are you going to climb the rocks?

Argh! These cliffs are so darn steep. How does Casunziei manage to climb this up faster than Miraidon?

What's that, Casunziei? That seal kinda looks like the Sun, and I don't think that's safe to touch.

Come on, Casunziei. I know the Sun isn't out right now, but you shouldn't hide in a shrine like that.

"I ... HATE ... YOU ... GO ... AWAYYYYYYYYYY ..."

*sigh* Here we go again. *knock knock* And what is this going to be this time? I hate these stupid shrines.

Woah! I said I need something to chop onions, but putting swords in your mouth isn't necessary, Casunziei!

Well, Casunziei's fork tail should not look like this. Clearly, the swords are cursed, and I have to break them apart.

Woah! Casunziei must've been corrupted by the dark, 'cause he doesn't like to pull Sucker Punches out of nowhere!

The rain is out, and that sounds like a great time to give Casunziei a wash. Pluse, those swords need some desperate cleaning.

I'm glad Conchiglie brought his Leftovers, but I'm not in the mood of eating when my dear Casunziei is in danger right now.

Let's protect ourselves against whatever the aggressive Casunziei might do. We'll need some better strategies though.

I want my darling Sun Pokemon back, and not this sword monster that embraces the cold sunless winter.

I sent out Linguine up next, and he elegantly dodged that Icicle Crash. I guess he's used to shoveling snow.

I hope Casunziei will forgive me for what I said. I also hope Linguine's scream didn't hurt him too badly.

There we go, Casunziei's back to normal! After all these troubles, maybe I should not go picnic immediately after.

What I experienced could not possibly natural occurrence. And those cursed shrines? I need to investigate what they really are.

So, it turns out there are four Pokemon that are the embodiment of negative energy! Ting-Lu is a deer filled with fear.

Wo-Chien is formed when a snail comes across wooden tablets with grudge written on them.

Chi-Yu is an envious fish wearing beads as glasses.

Together with Chien-Pao the hating leopard, they form the Ruinous Four and spread bad feelings across Paldea.

I don't wanna go picnic now, so how about some Homemade Umeboshi from Treasure Eatery?

The Ruinous Pokemon are all Dark-type, which is why my Pokemon are vulnerable to their corruption.

I guess I should also learn to control my own emotions. Instead, let's just be happy how delicious these food taste!

My procrastination is estimated to stay for a little bit longer, so updates are expected to be sparse in these 2 weeks as well. It has been a while, but last time I learned about the disastrous Pokemon of negative emotions. That's why mood swings are dangerous.

Now that I'm back to Mesagoza, I remember I need to do something here. Something that requires me to form my strongest team.

That's right. I promised to battle Nemona for real, as a final showdown of our Treasure Hunts, right here at the Mesagoza plaza!

Uh-oh. I wasn't expecting there to be so many people watching us. I'm getting nervous!

I've been growing my battling skills, even without knowing myself, and now's the time to harvest the fruits!

This is it. I've always been scared of battling Nemona, but I'm now ready to face her in full strength. I can do this!

Here we go! Let's kick this off with Farfalle against Lycanroc as the appetizer of this grand battle!

Ugh! Lycanroc took the quick advantage by landing a Drill Run immediately on Farfalle!

Phew! Farfalle might not be that fast, but his mighty sharp Sacred Sword is always here to back us up. Good job!

You know. Just a few months ago, I knew nothing about type matchups and got wrecked by Katy. I definitely didn't expect to make it this far.

Nemona sent out her Pawmot next. I still remember when it was just a tiny Pawmi. It has grown a lot, too.

Pawmot is filled with electriciy and slammed Farfalle with its Double Shock. There's nothing too shocking about that, actually.

Oh, Farfalle, you tried, but we shouldn't have underestimated Nemona's power. After all, she's one of the best trainers in the entire Academy.

I imagine that Double Shock burned all of Pawmot's electricity, and now it can't even charge itself for another round.

I sent in Farfalline next, but I think her traces of Volt Absorb might be a little too late to save Farfalle. Oh, well.

Ice Punch? I'd like it better if it is just an iced fruit punch.

But of course, Farfalline isn't scared of no Ice Punch. She even took that time to calm her mind.

Pawmot is all about attacking quickly, so it shouldn't be too surprising to see it use Quick Attack.

Even though it is still daytime, Farfalline's Moonblast is still as effective on Pawmot, especially after that Calm Mind boost.

Nemona had an Orthworm? That reminds me of my great picnics with Arven.

Orthworm might be just a little worm, but it is more durable than you expect. It managed to take Farfalline's extra Thunderbolt!

Orthworm has several fists, but it still prefers to use its Iron Tail to hit its opponents! Farfalline barely survived, but that's all we need!

To be honest, that was a close call, and it almost made my stomach churn.

Farfalline only managed to stand because of her Babiri Berry! That's why you need to put berries on your Pokemon!

The first Thunderbolt was to fry Orthworm for some defrosting. The second on was the real deal to send it back to its ball.

Goodra's up next, and I definitely do not want its goo to drop into my lunchbox. No, thank you.

Moonblast was enough to take Goodra down in one shot. That's the power of moon fairies!

Aw, Goodra. Don't look at me like that. Maybe I'll feed you some rice balls after this is done.

Woah! Nemona even has a Dudunsparce! She is pretty good at catching Pokemon, isn't she?

Dudunsparce ate up Farfalline's Moonblast. Now that might be dangerous, 'cause Farfalline is low in health.

Woah! Was that necessary? I feel like Farfalline would've fallen to just the slightest push. You don't need to use such an explosive move!

Calm Mind was powerful enough to let Farfalline knock out three Pokemon, but all great things come to an end.

Well, that just means Cavatelli can come in easily and give Dudunsparce a good roast. Another one down!

Nemona is already down to her final Pokemon, but that's also her ace, so I must be careful here!

Final Ingredient (2)

Nemona is down to her final Pokemon, and of course, she Terastallizes her ace for the final oomph.

That's right. Nemona's ace is a Tera-Grass Meowscarada! And I know she's going all-out with this cat!

A cat's most dangerous weapon is always its claws, and especially if they are filled with shadow energy!

That didn't stop Cavatelli from throwing fire, though! Let's burn that Tera Jewel to ashes!

Are you kidding me? Meowscarada survived with the tiniest bit of health! That cat is evil, I tell you!

At least Cavatelli got some time to breathe and eat his Leftovers. That's always important for a long battle.

Cavatelli got hit by another Shadow Claw! Not the first time he deals with spooky ghost warriors, so he's fine.

Heating your dinner once isn't always enough, so let's reheat it before we feast on.

With Meowscarada knocked out as well, Nemona's completely out of Pokemon.

Did I really do it? Did I really beat Nemona even if she's using a full team?

If I'm stronger than the strongest trainer in the academy, that would make me the new strongest trainer, huh?

Am I really ready to take that title? I still think Nemona's such a strong trainer, and yet, I defeated her several times by now.

And Nemona decides to celebrate that with ... another round of battling. And this time, no one's gonna be able to save me.

*ba dum-tss*

After battling Nemona for one whole day, I've finally completed her quest. But, of course, I forgot to ask her the thing!

That's it! I did all these because I promised Arven I'll help him out.

I'll be going to Area Zero with him, but we'll need strong allies to help us. I haven't even told Nemona any of these!

Oh, I guess Arven did the work for me. He has already recruited two allies while I'm busy doing all of these crazy stuff. Welp.

To get to Area Zero, we need to pass through the Zero Gate, which looks something like that.

It's actually by Medali! That gives me a great excuse to go back to that place!

Let's get back to Medali, and no, I'm not going to the Zero Gate yet.

Ok, maybe I won't make Arven wait. I just bought some Cinnamon Churro at the stall this time. No Treasure Eatery for poor Adige.

Uh-oh. It's raining all of a sudden. Are you sure this is the right time to visit a supposedly deadly place?

Well, I guess Maltagliati will swim his through and find the Zero Gate for us.

Well, I didn't quite find the gate, but I found someone who seems to know something about the Great Crater.

And I'm supposed to be looking for a secret tunnel, through the mountain, probably.

Oh, Conchiglie, are you trying to tell me this is the right tunnel? Well, I trust you then.

There we go. I found the Zero Gate Arven showed me, and he's already there!

Arven told me more about Area Zero. That made me think, Miraidon probably is connected to this place.

Oh right. Arven brought us some new allies, too, right? I wonder who they can be.

Let's go, then! We are on a mission here!
