[SET COMMENTS]
Porygon functions as a solid wallbreaker in the NFE metagame thanks to its amazing coverage and great pair of abilities, allowing it to check walls like Mareanie, Tangela, and Vullaby. Tri Attack is Porygon's most spammable attack, used against threats like Piloswine, Hattrem, and Clefairy while having a good chance of inflicting them with status. Ice Beam enables Porygon to hit Grass- and Flying-types like Roselia, Vullaby, and Togetic, while Thunderbolt can hit Water-types like Wartortle and Brionne. Psychic allows Porygon to hit Fighting- and Poison-types like Machoke, Hakamo-o, and Mareanie and force them out. Trick can also be used to cripple walls like Galarian Corsola, Klang, and Ferroseed and gain an Eviolite in return. Shadow Ball is another option as the last move to hit Ghost-types like Galarian Corsola and Lampent. Download allows Porygon to boost its Special Attack further, while Analytic can be used to punish switch-ins and increase your chances of scoring 2HKOs against many Pokemon. A Choice Scarf can be used to outspeed threats like Choice Band Piloswine and offensive Roselia, but you do lose out on notable 2HKOs against the likes of Mareanie and Piloswine.

While Porygon has a great offensive presence, its biggest downside is its speed. Pairing Porygon with a Sticky Web setter like Charjabug is therefore encouraged to outspeed threats like Fraxure, Hakamo-o, and Adamant Raboot. Entry hazard setters like Roselia, Galarian Corsola, and Piloswine are also good partners, as their entry hazards can wear down switch-ins like Klang and Ferroseed. Porygon also appreciates slow pivots like Slowpoke and Clefairy that can safely switch it in and bait in Pokemon like Vullaby and Koffing. Clefairy can also be used as a Wish passer to prevent Porygon from being worn down. Wallbreakers that use Knock Off like Galarian Linoone, Machoke, and Thwackey are also good partners, as they can remove Eviolites from Clefairy, Mareanie, and Klang, which could otherwise stand up to Porygon. As a Normal-type, Porygon doesn't have any resistances and is vulnerable to Fighting-types like Machoke and Mienfoo, therefore physically defensive walls like Tangela and Galarian Corsola should be used to prevent these threats from KOing Porygon.

Porygon can function as a specially defensive pivot, as it reliably checks threats like Lampent, Gastly, and Seadra. Shadow Ball is used to hit Ghost-types like Lampent and Galarian Corsola. Tri Attack provides general damage against most of the metagame along with a 20% chance to inflict the opposing Pokemon with status, but Psychic punishes Fighting-types that like to switch into Porygon such as Machoke. Recover is used to help Porygon's longevity against threats; it can also be used to scout moves from Choice-locked Pokemon like Hattrem and Gastly. Teleport enables Porgyon to pivot out on threats as they switch in. Trace allows Porygon to wall threats like Lampent as well as profit from other abilities like Regenerator and Magic Guard from Slowpoke and Clefairy.

Poygon provides support to its team by being able to wall special attackers like Lampent and Seadra, therefore making it a great partner to Pokemon that are weak to these threats like Raboot, Roselia, and Hattrem. Teleport should be used to gain momentum when expecting opposing special attackers like Lampent to switch out. As a defensive Pokemon, Porygon relies a lot on its Eviolite to function, so it needs to be wary of Knock Off users like Vullaby, Tangela, and Mareanie. Furthermore, Porygon can easily get pressured out by Fighting-types and physical wallbreakers like Machoke and Thwackey, so having physically defensive Pokemon to compensate for that weakness like Galarian Corsola and Tangela is encouraged. Porygon is also heavily worn down by status when Trace doesn't catch Magic Guard or Regenerator, so having a cleric like Clefairy or Lickitung can be found helpful. Frailer Pokemon like Morgrem and Kadabra can take advantage of the safe switches that Porygon's Teleport provides.

Porygon functions as a great wallbreaker in the NFE metagame thanks to its amazing coverage and great ability combination, allowing it to (offensively) check walls like Piloswine, Tangela, and Vullaby. this is speaking a bit too positively of a mon currently situated in B- (and imo could go lower). offensive variants of piloswine blow you back too; replace with koffing maybe? Psychic allows Porygon to hit Fighting- and Poison-types like Machoke, Hakamo-o and Mareanie who otherwise can easily switch in. The mons you mentioned can't "easily" switch in - focus more on Porygon's ability to offensively check them (specify defensive sets for the fighting-types) and force them out. Ice Beam enables Porygon to hit Grass- and Flying-types like Roselia, Vullaby and Togetic while Thunderbolt can hit Water-types like Wartortle and Brionne. Tri Attack is Porygon's only STAB used for Pokemon who resist its coverage like Piloswine, Hattrem and Clefairy. Focus more on how its the most spammable attack Porygon has in most situations (particularly in hitting the mons you just mentioned). Trick can also be an option to cripple walls like Galarian Corsola add a second mention. ferroseed/klang maybe? and gain an Eviolite in return. Download allows Porygon to reach +2 SpA boosting its power Choice Specs offers a x1.5 boost but referring to this as +2 isn't intuitive for new players, just say it boosts Porygon's attack further when sending it out against mons like X and Y, while Analytic can be used to avoid 3hko's upon switchins. not sure what you mean by avoiding 3HKOs - allowing porygon to take things on when it can't get the boost is the main appeal Choice Scarf can also be an option to outspeed threats like Choice Band Piloswine and Offensive Roselia however you do lose on notable 2hkos. choice scarf sounds really bad, although i think shadow ball should be mentioned here for punishing ghost-types like lampent & corsola that might try and switch into tri attack.

While Porygon has a great offensive presence, its biggest downside is its speed. Pairing Porygon with Sticky Web setter like Charjabug is therefore encouraged to have a better chance at outspeeding threats like Fraxure, Hakamo-o and Adamant Raboot. most raboot mentions are jolly right now; offensive piloswine or machoke fits better here imo. Entry hazard setters like Roselia, Mareanie and Piloswine are also good partners as they can put threats in range of Porygon's attacks. examples please Porygon appreciates slow pivots like Slowbro slowpoke, not slowbro and Clefairy who can safely switch it in and bait in vullaby/koffing etc.. Clefairy can also be used as a cleric specify wish to pass on health back to Porygon. Knock Off users and wallbreakers like Galarian Linoone, Machoke, and Thwackey are also good partners as they can remove Eviolites from? e.g. klang, mareanie allowing Porygon to be a bigger menace. As a Normal-type Porygon doesn't have any resists and is weak to Fighting-types like Machoke and Mienfoo, therefore pairing it with physically defensive walls like Tangela and Galarian Corsola should be used to prevent these threats from killing Porygon.

Tri Attack is Porygon's only STAB and most spammable attack, used for Pokemon who resist its coverage like Piloswine, Hattrem and Clefairy (Since this has been moved to the first slot, it doesn't make sense to say this is used for mons which resist its coverage, and it is better to emphasise on the fact you hit them with a strong stab neutral attack and Clefairy doesn't resist its coverage btw so if you wanna stick with this sentence, you should probably change it to a different mon). Ice Beam enables Porygon to hit Grass- and Flying-types like Roselia, Vullaby and Togetic while Thunderbolt can hit Water-types like Wartortle and Brionne. Teleport should be used to gain momentum when expecting opposing special attackers, in particular Lampent which is completely walled by Porygon, to switch out. (You might wanna rephrase what I wrote here but definitely mention how Teleport should be used vs special attackers somewhere, especially when in on a Lampent, you can pretty much always safely Teleport out since Lamp can't touch you and will very likely switch) As a defensive Pokemon Porygon relies a lot on its Eviolite to function so the user needs to be wary of Knock Off users like Vullaby, Tangela and Mareanie. Psychic allows Porygon to hit Fighting- and Poison-types like Machoke, Hakamo-o(AC), and Mareanie and force them out. Trick can also be an option used ("can be an option" is redundant) to cripple walls like Galarian Corsola, Klang, and Ferroseed(RC), and gainning and gain an Eviolite in return. Download allows Porygon to reach boost its Special Attack further while Analytic can be used to cripple punish ("cripple switch-ins" often means "with status". "punish" is unambiguous and hints why it would help Porygon2 specifically) switch-ins as well as highering and increase your chances of 2HKOs against many Pokemon. (clarifying we don't mean 2HKOs against only switch-ins) Choice Scarf can also be an option can be used to outspeed threats like Choice Band Piloswine and Offensive Roselia however (Add Comma), but you do lose out on notable 2HKOs like Mareanie and Piloswine. Shadow Ball can also be used is another option as the last move to hit Ghost-types like Galarian Corsola and Lampent. (the Shadow Ball sentence should be moved directly after the Trick and before the Download sentences. This movement is why I changed "can also be used", because it would be repetitive in the new spot.)

While Porygon has a great offensive presence, its biggest downside is its speed. Pairing Porygon with a Sticky Web setter like Charjabug is therefore encouraged to have a better chance at outspeeding outspeed threats like Fraxure, Hakamo-o(AC), and Adamant Raboot. Entry hazard setters like Roselia, Mareanie(AC), and Piloswine are also good partners as they their hazards can wear down switch-ins like Klang and Ferroseed. (Is it true and worth adding that "Spikes are especially helpful to better wear down such Steel-types that switch into Porygon."?) Porygon also appreciates slow pivots like Slowpoke and Clefairy who can safely switch it in and bait in Pokemon like Vullaby and Koffing. Clefairy can also be used as a Wish passer to pass on health back to Porygon to prevent Porygon from being worn down.
