Pre-Pokebank and Pokebank Teams (both OU)

I've made 2 teams; 1 for when Pokebank is up and 1 untill it's released.

Pokebank OU team:

Scolipede @ Black Sludge
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Impish Nature
  • Baton Pass
  • Swords Dance
  • Protect
  • Substitute
Bulky Baton Passer. Gives Speed Boosts and SD to the team (mainly Mega Gyarados). EV and Nature allow for several passes due to high bulk and hp regen.

Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
  • Dragon Dance
  • Waterfall
  • Earthquake
  • Ice Fang
Main sweeper, excellent move coverage. Can sweep entire teams, specially thanks to Mega Gyarados Mold Breaker (no Sturdy, Levitate, etc.).

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
  • Close Combat
  • Rock Slide
  • Earthquake
  • Iron Head
Revenge killer with Choice Scarf. Can be used as backup sweeper and late game sweeper. Rock Slide over Stone Edge because I hate the 80% accuracy from Stone Edge.
Didn't go for Choice Band as the team needs a good revenge killer and Scarf makes a better job at this than Band.

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
  • Earth Power
  • Lava Plume
  • Flash Cannon
  • Protect
Acts as an offensive wall and with Flash Fire it is a free switch-in on fire moves.

Klefki @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Careful Nature
  • Substitute
  • Foul Play
  • Swagger
  • Thunder Wave
Priority Twave, Swagger + Foul Play = many rage quits. Needs no further explanation. Saved my team on many occasions.

Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature
  • Psychic
  • Pain Split
  • Hex
  • Will-O-Wisp
Extremely bulky and in gen6 it walls / neutralizes so many common treats that rely on their ability: Aegislash, Mega-Kangaskhan, Talonflame, Pranksters, Huge Power Pokes (Azumarril, Mawile), etc.
Hex got a huge buff I think, it's now base 65 but when the opponent has a condition it power doubles, which makes it a whopping 130. With Cofagrigus decent Special Attack, it tears the opponent a new one.

Pre-Pokebank OU team:

For my pre-Pokebank OU team I tried to find Pokemon that resemble the sets/uses of the 3 I can't get in game so far (Heatran, Terrrakion, Cofagrigus). Scolipede, Gyarados and Klefki remain the same.

Rotom-Wash @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
  • Thunderbolt
  • Hydro Pump
  • Thunder Wave / Will-O-Whisp
  • Hex
Takes the role of Heatran and Cofagrigus. Good STAB moves. Twave helps with Klefki's moveset, guarantees first to attack and generally cripples opponents, where as Will-O-Whisp deals with physical attackers. I pref Twave personally.
Hex is 130 power with Twave and Rotom has high Spatk to make it effective. Can also add to the surprise part as most Rotom-W have a Volt-Switch set and don't expect a move as powerful as Hex.

Sawk (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
  • Close Combat
  • Earthquake
  • Poison Jab / Ice Punch
  • Rock Slide
Takes the role of Terrakion, good move coverage and hits hard. Also the bulkiest (kinda) of the ones that can use a moveset simular to Terrakion.
Thought of Lucario but he has weakness to common ground and fire moves, which don't work in it's favor compared to Sawk.
Going with Ice Punch over Poison Jab if I can breed it on Sawk in this gen (possibly with Hitmonchan) as it knows the move in gen5.

Aegislash @ Air Balloon
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spd
Adamant Nature
  • Autotomize
  • Swords Dance
  • Shadow Claw
  • Sacred Sword
This set can become very threatening after just 1 buff (itself or from Scolipede).
Sacred Sword over Iron head cause of better type coverage.
Although it does leave the team with 3 Pokemon that are weak to ground and fire (Scolipede, Klefki, Aegislash) so I might switch it out.

Possible Aegislash alternatives:

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd
Careful Nature
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Iron Head

Very bulky and hits like a truck. Again took Rock Slide over Stone Edge due to bettter accuracy.
Still has the ground weakness but no fire weakness.

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower
- Roost

Hydreigon's Draco Meteor is insanely powefull. Not many Pokemon will like to switch in on it, even with neutral coverage. Life Orb boosts it to even greater hights.
Earth Power and Flamethrower are for coverage, Roost heals off any Life Orb dmg.
No earth or frire weakness and is Special Attack based (only one in the team is; Rotom-W).

Dragonite @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance / Roost
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Punch

Moveset makes good use of Weakness Policy.
Perhaps switch Dragon Dance for Roost (to reset Multiscale).
No fire and earth weakness, though another physical attacker.

I have had success with all 3 of them though I'm more inclined to go for Hydreigon to balance the pre-Pokebank team type coverages.
