Lanturn has been making a splash in ZU as a specially defensive pivot with great defensive typing that can take on many of the metagames top threats, like Charizard, Floatzel, and Jolteon. Its Water-type moves make it feared by Ground-types, giving it an easier time bringing in its teammates. Flip Turn is a secondary pivoting option against Volt Switch-immune Pokemon, like Jolteon...
