Trainer Backstory

Cyra defeated the elite four and became champion of the far-off Metronmnia region at a young age. Cyra was the most decorated and successful trainer in the regions history, including defending the champion title seven years consecutively. However, as pokemon battles in Metronmnia only involve using the move Metronome over and over again, her incredible achievements were due entirely to her elderly (now retired) Clefable Gerome and his incredible luck, and not at all attributable to any sort of skill on Cyra's part. She may be in for a rude awakening when she discovers that trainers in BBP actually have to think about their moves ahead of time...

Backstory

When you think of a starter pokemon, you probably think of something like a beautiful, freshly hatched Charmander, bright eyed and ready to be your best friend for life... That is not Nimrod's nature. Nimrod is over 8,000 years old. It has grown alongside humanity. During the bronze age it served as a high judge for several different up-and-coming (at the time) city-states; however after the last one fell during the bronze age collapse, Nimrod got absolutely fed up with humans and went into hibernation for several thousand years. Only recently has Nimrod decided to give humans another try.
