Eviolite Reflect Type is actually a decent set (although I use a slightly altered version of it), so it has my vote.

Congratulations to Musharnanigans for winning with Reflect Type + Pain Split Haunter! Your submission will be logged into the archive!

Week 29: Abomasnow

Voting starts Wednesday!

(Because drops and rises are expected to happen sometime soon, if they happen in the middle of the submission phase and your set was designed with the pre-shift meta in mind, I will still accept your nomination. Likewise, if shifts do happen, I will also accept post-shift meta sets, too, but only if shifts actually happen.)

Z-Hail Abomasnow

Abomasnow @ Icium Z
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain/Energy Ball
- Earthquake
- Hail

General idea
One of the most beautiful trait Abomasnow has is the ability to spam an accurate Blizzard. SDance is good, but doesn't really help when you are trying to wallbreak on the special side of the spectrum.
A well-timed Z-Hail gives Abomasnow +1 Spe (=360 Spe points) and it gets rid of the opposite weather or, simply, it restores Hail for other 5 turns. This is useful towards faster teams and dropping Ice Shard now makes sense.
Towards slow teams you have an Ice nuke to spam in front of your opponent.

I like the possibility to use Giga Drain instead of Wood Hammer to have a way to recharge our HP throughout the match because we need staying power in order to avoid losing the +1 Spe boost.

Teammates support
Even at +1 Spe, 252 Spe EVs Jolly Floatzel outspeeds it by one point, so one form of Spe control is necessary.

Abomasnow @ Choice Band
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Shard
- Ice Punch
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake

Standard wall breaker set designed to catch stuff like Clefairy off guard expecting a Blizzard. Set itself is pretty straightforward with Jolly nature being used to outspeed stuff like non scarf Aurorus.

PILZ

Banned deucer.

Abomasnow @ Leftovers
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Toxic
- Blizzard

Classic subs+seed and subs+toxic, in this case the both, a very annoying set to deal without a magic guard user because of the leech seed + toxic + hail.

Abomasnow @ Choice Specs
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Blizzard
- Energy Ball
- Giga Drain
- Focus Blast

A Choice Specs wallbreaker with very little switch-ins. This role might be done better by Aurorus atm, but if Qwilfish and Jellicent do end up dropping, it'll give this Pokemon a lot of safe switch-ins to make holes on the opposing team. Unlike Aurorus, however, Abomasnow does not having a 4x weakness to Fighting meaning it can stay in and get the 2HKO on AV Hitmonchan if Stealth Rocks are up. It also outspeeds Jolly Aggron and can revenge kill Modest Aurorus because it is faster. One last thing: Giga Drain gives it a recovery option and is very helpful in negating Stealth rocks damage. It's a pretty viable option if you are sick of using Aurorus as a special wallbreaker.

Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Avalanche
- Wood Hammer
- Ice Shard
this set actually makes abuse of one of Abomasnow's bad factors:Speed, while it can't outspeed much things,Avalanche has a power of 120 when hit last and swords dance give it a good ammount of power,Ice shard and WoHammer are for revenge kill and great damage, you can choose between grassium to get a non-recoil Wood hammer or more power for Ice shard and avalanche

Abomasnow @ Grassium Z
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Worry Seed
- Blizzard
- Energy Ball
- Focus Blast

A typical SpA Abomasnow EXCEPT with the Timid nature, Grassium Z, and the kicker: Worry Seed. Those three in tandem make for an Abomasnow that can out speed a Specs Pyroar on switch in, and then have a 56.3% chance to OHKO with Focus Blast. You will out speed every non-scarfer in the tier up to Swoobat in fact, and have solid enough coverage to take out most other sweepers.

Modest can be run over Timid to 2HKO a Ferroseed with Focus Blast, but that sacrifices a lot of speed in turn and will only allow you outspeed the fastest of Basculins and Swannas. Grass Whistle can be used instead of Worry Seed, but I find more uses in a 100% accurate Worry Seed than a 55% accurate Grass Whistle.

Abomasnow @ Grassium Z
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Grass Whistle
- Swords Dance
- Wood Hammer
- Ice Punch
Here I have brought you an Abomasnow that wants to serenade you with a sleep inducing lullaby from his whistle! So you must first pray that Grass Whistle lands (that 55% accuracy is a lie it probably lands more than Focus Miss) and then you Swords Dance up. Z-Grass Whistle gives you +1 speed so now you patch up his speed issue and also outspeed Specs Pyroar. You basically pulled a Jynx on the physical side of the spectrum. This Abomasnow now becomes a bona fide win condition that decimates anything that stands in its way. Hope you enjoy this interesting set!

Abomasnow @ Grassium Z
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Wood Hammer/Seed Bomb
- Ice Shard

Focus punch allows abomasnow to lure in mons attempting to tank its stabs such as Aggron for Ice type moves and Alola exeggutor for grass type moves and heavily chunks them, allowing aboma to ko them on the next turn. Substitute can be used on teh prediction for the guaranteed focus punch behind the sub. Wood Hammer is its primary STAB, whereas seed bomb can be run to preserve HP to allow it to make more substitutes.
Ice Shard gives it priority to revenge kill threats or to KO targets faster than it after it has landed focus punch
Grassium Z gives aboma a one time 190 BP nuke that can break targets without suffering recoil allowing it to substitute more times. Leftovers can be run for recovery instead.
Snow Warning is standard to chip targets and break sashes as soundproof doesn't apply to much in the tier apart from parting shot on silvally/persian alola and hyper voice from Drampa/pyroar who KO with fire blast anyway.

The EVs allow Aboma to sub 4 times from max hp and the remaining EVs are invested to make it hit as hard and fast as possible. A Jolly nature is used to outspeed timid specs aurorus.

252 Atk Abomasnow Focus Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Aggron: 308-364 (109.6 - 129.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

You have until Saturday to make me win! Or, er, vote, sorry.

TONE's CB Abomasnow is fire (haha)

(Same deal with this as with VotW, please include the set that you're voting for in your post (ex.: CB) Anything else like the poster's name is optional, but knowing the set that you voted for helps me out when counting votes.)
