Great submissions guys and gals. Simisear, while being only 1 of 2 viable Fires in PU, can do serious damage as a wallbreaker. It can even ruin stall teams. It can be very scary if you let it set up.

Week 7
The victim to dispose of this week is............

Kangaskhan @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Power-Up Punch
- Double-Edge
- Sucker Punch
- Focus Punch

Condition: Unaware mons are not available

Mudsdale @ Figy Berry
Ability: Stamina
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Rock Slide

Muds is a counter. Thanks to Stamina it never takes more than 50% damage from any of Kanga's hits, allowing it to safely activate its Figy Berry, while Muds 2HKOs with Earthquake after Stealth Rock and even without offensive investment.

0 Atk Mudsdale Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kangaskhan: 156-184 (44.4 - 52.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 132+ Def Mudsdale: 139-165 (34.4 - 40.8%) -- 54.5% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Kangaskhan All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 132+ Def Mudsdale: 154-182 (38.1 - 45%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

gurdurr

Gurdurr @ Eviolite
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Atk / 212 Def
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off
- Bulk Up

Gurdurr is a great counter to Kangaskhan as it can come in safely into any attack at neutral and it can revenge Kangaskhan with Drain into Mach Punch and Gurdurr also gains health back from the damage it took via Drain Punch.
Gurdurr also can come into a +1 Kangaskhan decently well and can revenge kill it with rain Punch, which makes it harder for Kangaskhan to bypass it, also Kangaskhan only STAB in Double-Edge won't do too much at +1 either.
Sucker Punch and PuP only do a little damage output on Gurdurr as Gurdurrs natural bulk and Evolite helps it to sponge those Attacks off like a Champ furthermore Kangaskhan takes also recoil from its STAB Double-Edge and
has it really tough against Gurdurr in general.

Calcs:
unboosted:
252+ Atk Kangaskhan Power-Up Punch vs. 252 HP / 212 Def Eviolite Gurdurr: 24-29 (6.4 - 7.7%) -- possibly the worst move ever

Sableye @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Will-o-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt
- Foul Play

Sableye is a solid Check to Kangaskhan, as it doesn't want to switch into Focus Punch or All Out Pummelling, but once in safely it can burn Kanga with a +1 priority Will-O-Wisp. If Kanga tries to boost its Attack with Power up Punch, Sableye can just use Foul Play to hit it harder (it still 2HKOes a burned Kanga with no boosts). Sableye can survive a +1 All-Out Pummelling if Kanga has been burnt.

252+ Atk burned Kangaskhan Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Sableye: 125-148 (41.1 - 48.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252+ Atk burned Kangaskhan All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Sableye: 249-294 (81.9 - 96.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Sableye Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kangaskhan: 165-195 (47 - 55.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after burn damage
0 Atk Sableye Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def +1 Atk Kangaskhan: 246-291 (70 - 82.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after burn damage

Tangela @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power Fire
- Knock Off
- Synthesis

0 SpA Tangela Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Kangaskhan: 97-115 (27.6 - 32.7%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
(14.5 - 17.2% recovered)

252+ Atk Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Tangela: 76-91 (22.7 - 27.2%) -- 54.2% chance to 4HKO
252+ Atk Kangaskhan All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Tangela: 85-100 (25.4 - 29.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
+4 252+ Atk Kangaskhan All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Tangela: 252-297 (75.4 - 88.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

After factoring in the healing gained through Giga Drain, Kangaskhan is unable to kill Tangela with any combination of moves, be it 4PUPs into Edge/Z, 2PUPs into Z into Edge, etc.

Reserving defensive Mawile

186165

Mawile @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Play Rough
- Super Fang
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock

Mawile is a great Kangaskhan counter. There's not much to explain. Intimidate allows it to stonewall every Kangaskhan without Earthquake. Super Fang+Play Rough kills it when factoring in Rocky Helmet chip damage. Even without Intimidate (when Kanga switches in on Mawile or PUPs when Maw switches in) it still walls Kanga. However, when using it as your Kanga answer, try avoiding getting damaged prior beating Kanga.
Intimidated Kanga calcs:
-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 103-122 (33.9 - 40.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan Focus Punch vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 78-92 (25.7 - 30.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 46-55 (15.1 - 18.1%) -- possible 6HKO
-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan Power-Up Punch vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 22-26 (7.2 - 8.5%) -- possibly the worst move ever

Neutral Kanga calcs:
252+ Atk Kangaskhan All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 154-182 (50.8 - 60%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Kangaskhan Focus Punch vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 116-137 (38.2 - 45.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 69-82 (22.7 - 27%) -- 49% chance to 4HKO

8 Atk Mawile Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kangaskhan: 102-121 (29 - 34.4%) -- 5.2% chance to 3HKO

Qwilfish @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 8 Atk / 248 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Waterfall
- Poison Jab
- Destiny Bond
- Toxic Spikes

Qwilfish Lead is a Great check in Kangaskhan Due to the Intimidate + Rocky Helmet makes Kangaskhan should take the Attack with Power-up-punch there Where qwilfish takes advantage of throwing some toxic spikes or Damage with Waterfall or Poison jab, also before dying or can kill it or you can use Destiny Bond if it was used For the Toxic Spikes that helps to condition the game due to having killed a mon with a lead + 2 toxic spikes in the field forcing the opponent to take a Poison type or the Deffoger / Spinner. That makes Qwilfish one of the best Kangaskhan Checks

Calcs

8 Atk Qwilfish Waterfall vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kangaskhan: 100-118 (28.4 - 33.6%) -- 0.3% chance to 3HKO

8 Atk Qwilfish Poison Jab vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kangaskhan: 100-118 (28.4 - 33.6%) -- 0.3% chance to 3HKO

-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan Power-Up Punch vs. 0 HP / 248 Def Qwilfish: 11-14 (4 - 5.1%) -- possibly the worst move ever

-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 0 HP / 248 Def Qwilfish: 102-121 (37.6 - 44.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan Focus Punch vs. 0 HP / 248 Def Qwilfish: 42-50 (15.4 - 18.4%) -- possible 6HKO

-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 248 Def Qwilfish: 40-48 (14.7 - 17.7%) -- possible 6HKO

-1 252+ Atk Kangaskhan All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 0 HP / 248 Def Qwilfish: 56-67 (20.6 - 24.7%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

Hello, this is a half baked idea I came up with after staring at the PU roster for two minutes.

Even after reading Matt's article about checks and counters I don't understand very well where does this fits.

186182

KazaaakplethKilik (Lurantis) @ Wiki Berry // Figy Berry
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold // Impish Nature
- Synthesis
- Superpower
- Leaf Storm
- Defog
It's....... Lurantis, but with a pinch berry. Kanga would smoke the mantis if it tried to use leftovers. It's a check; Lurantis beats an unboosted Kangaskhan, however it needs stealth rocks on its own side or something similar to beat an already boosted (+1 attack) Kangaskhan, since you won't get within pinch berry range unless you get hit by a high roll z-attack. Needless to say, you use Superpower to get a defense boost. Once your defences are up and your berry has been proc'd, either you use Synthesis or you try to smack Kanga once again.

As for nature, Bold works as the standard set. Very good. However, Impish (Or any nature that doesn't give you -Atk) allows Lurantis to use a Figy berry, which allows you to hinder any timid trick user. It's not crippling for Lantis to have a -SpA nature, so I suggest Impish.

Again, I'm confused about the definitions of checks and counters... Sorry ;_; I'm very new to this.

Squash

UTA Overlord
Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Gunk Shot

Primeape is a check to kang, cause he can’t switch on double edge or z fight, but he can rk kang easily and don’t die from sucker punch boosted

TTK

Won't Catch Me Lacking.
is a Community Contributor

Regirock @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Curse
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Drain Punch

CurseRock is a good check. Kangaskhan can boost its attack but regirock will just boost its defence. All out pummeling does 54% max at +0 and regi just proceeds to set up cursing and its a boosting war where Regirock always win no matter what cuz Regirock would eventually ohko with Drain Punch.
