PUFF League I will feature 6 teams which each need 2 managers. As stated in the Administrative Decisions thread, PUPL XII managers are free to sign up here as well, though non-PUPL managers will be prioritised in the selection process. Managers are expected to be active in the PU community, and will preferably have had prior managing experience. Mangers should also be active in their respective team chats and responsive to the hosts. Since this is the inaugural iteration of this tournament, there are no team names or franchises to inherit, so feel free to be as creative as you like! Just make sure your team names contain a Pokemon that is relevant in the PU tier.

Please sign up using the following format:
Manager:
Assistant Manager:
Team Name:
Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details):

As announced here, the price of self-buying 1 manager will be 15k credits, and the price of self-buying 2 managers will be 45k credits.

Manager signups will close <t:1781503200:F>, or when the hosting team decides there are adequate signups.

Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details):
As for myself : I have managed several tours last year and this year, notably PUBD (semis), PUCL, PUWC (won), while having played in some of those as well. I feel as I had my chance through an individual tour, it would be a nice thing to myself give the same chance for newcomers through a more conventional teamtour setup.

For Heatranator : been a consistent part within the community, has managed gsc uupl and reached finals

both of us have always been looking for some newcomers in the tours we managed, some good potentials and giving them chances in bigger setups, this tour is the best occasion one can ask for to be proven, or at least known within the community. We'd be a good pair to be a part of this development.

Assistant Manager: hida

Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details):

I've been part of this community since 2023, adding to the tier in different ways such as rallying germany to finally have a PUWC team since 2024, or starting the PU research group which was going for a good 7-8 months before we ran out of mons to test. Point is; I've been trying to further the development of the tier in any small way possible, and I feel like this tour would be a nice opportunity for me and hida to showcase more "obscure" or rather unpicked PU talent, which have either gone under the radar, or don't have the connections necessary to be picked by PUPL franchises.

As for managing experiences, my first foray into this came in last year's PUWC as team germany's captain. Other than that I am pretty new to managing. But fear not! That's where hida comes in as my assistant manager.

Over the past 9 years he has been part of multuple managing teams including but not limited to: 2x NUPL (including 1 tour win, and 1 poff knockout), multiple world cups (PUWC, ZUWC, CAPWC, LTWC etc.), multiple PSPLs, and a myriad of side tournaments. He's also been an exceptional support for any team I've had the pleasure of being on together with him, theorycrafting, building, scouting, and testing extensively for the team.

We both have experience in the tier, a drive to further it, and the support backbone to help our teams succeed.

Manager: Lambovino
Assistant Manager: Gul Macet
Team Name: Rhydon Juans
Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details):
Gul would like to get his first managing experience with this tour, and I think it'd be a good chance to see new faces in the community.
For my part, I have managed some PU tours already (PUPL, PUWCs), and have been shadow manager in some others too. I'm currently not playing in PUPL so i'll have time to focus on PUFF to bring the best experience to our players, with the help of the knowledge I have in all PU lower tiers (did pu classic POs)

Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details):

Our management duo combines extensive tournament success with strong player development and team-building experience.

I have managed across a wide range of team tournaments, including UUPL, UUCL, RUPL, ZUPL, UMPL, UUWC, NUWC, and many others, consistently leading teams to strong performances and multiple playoff appearances. My achievements include winning NFE PL 2024, PPL 2025, UUFPL 2023 and 2025, Español PL 2024, Teamballo 2024, Chinese PL 2025, Bangladesh PL 2025, and most recently UMCL 2026.

Alongside me, MIPC brings valuable experience both as a player and as a manager. He has competed in PUPL and reached the semifinals of PU Classic. On the management side, he led a PTSL team to a finals appearance and has also managed in UUFPL, contributing to team preparation, player support, and overall roster development.

Together, we offer a combination of proven tournament success, leadership experience, player support, and team-building skills. Our goal is to create a competitive environment where every player can perform at their best while building a roster capable of competing for the championship.

Manager - Miyoko
Co-Manager - im_m0rtal.
Team name : :bruxish: Bihari Bruxishes :bruxish:
Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details):
Miyoko has managed SMPL twice, SSPL, SSCL, NDWC, and other tier leagues and other language PLs like BDPL, HPL, etc and sidetours like ISTT, Solomods PL, etc. He won SSPL as a manager, played ZUWC for Asia and has a very active presence throughout Smogon in general. He also won BSSCL and SSCL as manager. He also managed UMCL where his team reached semis tiebreaks.

I am a newer face to the management scene. I have managed RUGL (my team reached semis and was 1st in the regular season). I also managed and WON Dynasty PL. I have knowledge of PU from my tutoring and laddering. I have also taken part in team tournaments such as OUPL, Teamballo (we won), FCL, CNPL and many more. I have also supported various teams in other tournaments with PU.

We are enthusiastic managers, who are active in the team chat. Miyoko has played/managed a lot of tours with PU slots where I have helped as support slot in many tours with PU slots. We believe we would make good managers as we are motivated to win this tournament and give newer players an opportunity to demonstrate their ability whilst having a positive team environment. We can build a competitive roster, provide solid support, and put our team in the best position to succeed.

Why would you be a good manager? (Prior experience + any other additional details): Meri is very nifty and has managed multiple NU team tours, including this year's NUPL (she also reached playoffs in NUPL XII). I am a bit less nifty and have also managed a couple of PU team tours, most recently making playoffs in last year's PUPL as well as in PUBD II. We're two old women that like PU, like oldgens, and like PU oldgens, and we want you to come be old women with us.
