Used this cool spikes HO in DPP. Spikes + Electabuzz is always solid, but I found that scarf Xatu gave it some nice momentum and speed control in one slot. Articuno is an annoyance to the team, but lol its annoying to 99% of the builds right now so yeah. It plays pretty auto pilot for most match ups, and is a really fun team. It also helped me learn offense a bit better.

The idea for this team originated from a workshop I did with Broken Phobias in May of 2017. With several alterations made both before and after I was subbed in, this was the final product. This team packed two unseen lures in SD + Natural Gift [Ice] Leafeon and Thunder Punch Monferno. This team is quite similar to the team Teddeh brough in LTPL and one UberSkitty brought to the "In Memory of PU" tournament. Nothing too special here honestly. Volt Switching into the Golem was key. Stone Edging Monferno --> Swanna was key. Playing for differential after securing the game made this memorable. In short, all the stars aligned. This is just a solid standardish team overall. Kinda bad at writing descriptions for teams :psyduck:

This is the other team I built during Week 4 that I was so incredibly proud of building, although my teammates found it a bit awkward. After I got hefted by the first game of Dundies' Stall, tko was interested in taking a Huntail / Gorebyss team of his own, and I thank God he didn't. This team is less solid than the team above but is super fun to use (who doesn't like Hippopotas?). Not much to say, kind of a weird team mesh that I think for the most part works well together.

Used this week 1 vs dundies. The idea was sd busken + rp relicanth paired with pursuit trapper krok and memento jumpluff. Prinp acts as a nice blanket check mon and is consistent enough at getting rocks up. Scarf rotom-frost is there because it makes every team better. Not the most consistent team but if you get a decent matchup you can definitely pull out wins as shown by week 1.

Standard enough team that I used vs RawMelon, it's probably the most consistent one I made this pupl. Cb ferno and scarf frost form a really nice volt-turn core and with offensive rose and offensive golem as the hazard setters winning the hazard war is usually easy enough. Pawn is there to deter defog and is just a good mon with hazard support. Grumpig patches up the ice weakness while still threatening hazard removers. Generally just a consistent team that should have a shot in any matchup.

I'm almost sure I've posted this team before but it's my baby so I'm posting it again. An old team that I used to spam in ORAS seasonals, the idea of the team is to aggressively get your hazards up and keep them up via fast taunts + jolly explosion golem. Missy and pawn act as the removal deterrents while also serving as threats themselves with their respective set up moves. Rock polish regice can be scary for a lot of teams to deal with and while it's not as good now as it once was due to the rise of bronzor it still threatens a lot of teams. Mr. Mime rounds the team off, serving as a fast revenge killer that gives healing wish support while also being able to clean vs weakened teams. I used this week 3 vs ronjr and won while Pearl won with it week 5 against many. It's not the easiest team to pick up but if played correctly it can probably win any matchup and I think week 3 is a good example of that as I felt the matchup there was rather tough.

Week 4 team was made by dundies and week 5 team by teddeh so shoutouts to them. Thanks hjad for picking me up it was good fun and oras pu is a cool tier, hoping to play it again next year.

Okay, I'll bite then. I made quite a few teams this PUPL, even if a lot didn't see usage. Usually when I build versus someone I talk matchup into account, and try to give myself the edge without straight cteaming.

Week 5: Me vs Kingler12345

Qwilfish @ Rocky Helmet

Now, I hadn't really seen Kingler play nor did I actually know how he played or built, so I wanted to bring a really aggressive team that utilised Qwilfish well. I've already posted this team in the samples thread so I won't bother explaining it again.

dibs is a very good player, and I knew that. I wasn't going to be able to just outplay here so I had to rely on getting some amount of matchup. The reason I chose this very odd Alolan Persian set was to cripple any FerroClef cores used and to steal Leftovers from other Pokemon, while also disrupting with Hypnosis. Eelektross also often has a good matchup versus dibs because of his bulkier builds. Rest of the team was basically to support the more offensive backbone. I didn't prep very well for Aurorus though, so Type: Null should probably be U-turn.

Week 5: Dundies vs Kay (team not used)

Poliwrath @ Leftovers

- Soft-Boiled
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast

So I was meant to be building for Kay to play Dundies. Dundies is stupidly good and on a roll right now so I did a bit of replay searching and found both Bulky Sensu and Rotom Frost had a stupidly good match up versus most of his teams, with Poliwrath checking Alolan Sandslash on his most common hail cores. Kay sadly didn't use this team, but I was pretty spot on with the actual cteam aha.

Week 3: Jklioe vs Kushalos (team brought but altered)

Mesprit @ Choice Scarf

Swanna @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Surf
- Brave Bird
- Hurricane
- Defog

Often when I've seen Kushalos play and build, he seems to opt to build some either really bulky or weird bulky team, with stuff like Heal Bell Musharna and Tangela, so I basically designed a team to take full advantage of that. Scarf Rocks Mesprit can abuse the hell outta most bulky shit while still getting to do its main job. SD + ID Type: Null just fucks most balance teams that don't feature Ferroseed, same with Bulky Oricorio-E. Shame Jklioe edited it though, I think this version had a far better match up.

I'll post some more later, these were just the ones I enjoyed using the most! Was fun gang!

Only dropping outdated teams from old meta. I built some of my best stuff for that old meta this PUPL (imo), felt like a really good sendoff and wanted to share some of my favorites.

https://pokepast.es/09ec209ba8c3d534 - Physical Alolan Eggy vs Obii
Fun mon, just a fairly regular balance relying on it to put in work since I figured Obii would bring some fairly offensive stuff, ended up being stall but still had a good matchup. Also ended up predicting the resurgence of SR aggron a few weeks earlier but was off the mark with the item

https://pokepast.es/79393aad3b604040 - Specs Lilligant for Kushalos vs Arifeen
Talked at length about why I like specs lilli on untier talk, the rest is still not too crazy other than messing with Agility sensu. Still following the trend of find one crazy mon/set and then making a normal team around it but that's fun so w/e

https://pokepast.es/c39ef0a0166ecc7d JynxTrap for TJ vs TSR
Ok this one is a bit different, team's also right before AV crab was discovered so it's ass now but just some fun stuff. I've got zero recollection why toge is Pjab, might be a teambuilder mistake

https://pokepast.es/2a507cfe9aadb21c BandApe for Kushalos vs Jklioe
Every mon on this team is fun to use. Also CB Ape can put on a weird amount of pressure when people don't want to lose their Munchlax checks

https://pokepast.es/3e363f038a742ac1 Kecleon + Alolan Dug vs gz
Also weird as shit but the pair kinda broke fairly well together. Also the first time I started pushing people to use Revelation Dance on their Oricorios again because turns out Aggron's broken. This game was still amazing

https://pokepast.es/7180a6da3aa27041 Offensive Weezing for Kushalos vs HJAD
HJAD didn't have Gastrodon/Munchlax so that's pretty much when Weezing goes in. Even if you do have Regirock or something, it's gotta stay healthy for the Pyroar so overall I think the core goes well together. Also broken Gurdurr spread is broken

Since my team is out of PUPL, I want to share some of the teams that I made during that time. Thanks everyone for being great teammates n_n. It sucks that we got kicked out of finals the way we did, but overall I had a lot of fun and I'd like to thank Megazard for drafting me

For my first game, I was unsure about what to use against my opponent because he had no track record in sm pu, so I had to go in blind. People were saying that he would probably get passed teams from Taskr, so I decided to bring trick room as it was something that gave me a safe matchup against offense.

Frost breath cuno was something cool that gave me a reliable way of beating things like fat sensu. Poliwrath over Pyukumuku is the only other thing worth mentioning, which gave me a reliable Aggron counter. (head smash from aggron 2hkos tangela after rocks).

Dont think I really have to explain how broken Pyroar + Kingler is

Had a lot of fun this PUPL and managed to do quite a bit of building for me and my teammates so here is what I came up with.

Week 1 vs Kushalos (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-769210315

Against Kush I wanted something that could really mess with Balance but also something good vs Offense too since the MZ/Kush duo has brought that against me in the past.

Clefairy @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Toxic Spikes

This team was mainly built around Combusken since SD wasn't really seen as the primary set at this point and it could beat Ferro/Clef cores really well. Floatzel was the another mon able to distrupt Balance type builds whilst also having a good matchup against Offensive things like Pyroar, Switcheroo cripples defensive walls pretty well (as seen in the replay) and Pursuit was really nice against things like Sensu and Haunter as I didnt have a Ghost resist and they could often come in against Weezing. Silvally was there to Defog and Grass Pledge could somewhat lure Gastro since that is a big problem to this team. Weezing was nice since that could usually mess with bulkier builds well, Clef walls things and sets rocks whilst Toge added nice speed control. Despite being W1 and even though I managed to pull through with a bit of hax at the end, there was quite a few mindgames and 50/50's that were won and lost and it ended up being one of the best games of the whole tour imo.

Week 2 vs Robert Alfons (L)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-772715186

Rob could have basically brought anything vs me tbh since he's well versed in a lot of different playstyles so I wanted a team that solid against all matchups and especially Stall bc I thought that was a good possibility.

Tangela @ Eviolite

Togedemaru @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Toxic
- U-turn
- Zing Zap

Main basis of the team was the Kingler/Pyroar core since it is very hard to wall and both mons can take on each others checks and counters pretty well. Taunt Pyroar I thought would be especially good in this matchup if he brought some kind of stall or semi-stall since it can beat Audino 1v1 and Kingler could break through its own checks pretty well and get Healing Wished back up. Tangela is actually a nice pivot for offense imo as it can take on a lot of threats to offense such as Kingler and Kangaskhan and can stay healthy without losing momentum with regenerator. The rest is pretty standard, Hitmonchan helps with Fire and Ice types that threaten Tangela and Toge is for speed control again. This match pretty much just sucked for me since chan got frozen early on and then Kingler got crit whilst setting up which prevented it getting 3 kills but this is the game we play and ig it was just karma for W1 lol.

Week 3 vs Arifeen (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-775207975

Against Arifeen I wanted to bring some 'off-meta' or newer stuff since although he's a great player, I wasn't sure how good his PU knowledge was since he was likely going to be passed a team anyway.

Regirock @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Drain Punch
- Toxic

Bellossom is a really cool pick in this meta and can catch a lot of players off-guard with how well it can sweep unprepared teams. Bulky Sensu is another cool pick that was recently hyped up and can work well against bulkier teams in particular and also kinda lure Skuntank which is nice for Bellossom. Helmet Skuntank is also really good against opposing Skuntank as it can chip it down quite well and most of time win 1v1, which in turn was also good for Bellossom. Primeape and Eel form a cool Volt-turn core that can pressure Clefairy who is another good Bellossom check. Regirock was the rocker as the team is weak to Pyroar without it and I think this is the first time Drain Punch was used which is a cool tech against Aurorus/Alola Slash hail cores. The match ended in Bellossom finding a set up opportunity and sweeping when Pyroar was weakened.

NaCl vs Pepeduce (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-775720337

Me and dibs theorized that Hail would be a good archetype to bring vs Pepeduce as he is known to bring unorthodox offense builds and rarely uses Gurdurr.

Aurorus and Alola Slash was the core I stared building around and I wanted Z move Sandslash in-particular so that the team could break through things like Tangela. Calm Mind Mesprit is a pretty underrated breaker and can do a lot of work at breaking down balance cores as well as catching things like Aggron and Togedemaru off-guard with HP ground. Weezing and Clef helped vs the fat stuff whilst Poliwrath was need to keep things like Lycanroc and Kingler in check. HP Fire Aurorus is because the team is pretty weak to Wormadam-Trash lol.

Week 4 vs jklioe (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-779641481

Against jklioe I wasn't sure what he would bring since I wasn't sure if i would be him building or Yogi building for him and Yogi likes counter-teamy style teams so I decided to bring one of the safest archetypes in Kanga Spikes.

Kangaskhan @ Silk Scarf

Sandslash-Alola @ Icium Z
Ability: Slush Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Swords Dance
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake

This team is pretty straight forward tbh, Kangaskhan provides chip damage with Fake Out which stacks well with Spikes and Hail. Sableye is a good spinblocker that can take on Fighting types like Primeape, Gurdurr and Hitmonchan whilst also providing chip damage with Rocky Helmet. Ferro+Clef is a very common PU core that rose to fame and it can hazard stack really well as well as walling a lot of the meta. Scarf Aurorus gave me some kind of speed control and is a good pick vs opposing offense whilst Sandslash abuses Hail and tries to clean up. This game went pretty downhill from start to middle as he ended up revealing Substitute Alolan Sandslash and Fire Punch Regirock, both of which had a great matchup against my team. This meant that I had to rely heavily on outplaying to put myself in any kind of winning position, which I managed to do to a certain extent until unfortunately jklioe timed out. I'm still unsure about how the end game would have went but it would have involved a couple of 50/50 and could have gone either way.

obii vs gz (didn't play)

For some reason I had the thought that gz would bring some kind of Ferroseed team against obii since Ferro is a pretty safe bring against a non-pu main and there was quite a few in gz's seasonal replays.

EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

This team was basically built around the idea of 'mon that 6-0's a lot of Ferroseed teams + mons that abuse non-Ferro matchups'. This Golem-Alola set is pretty cool as it can set up +6 Attack, +6 Defense and +6 Speed against standard Gyro Ball Ferroseed and proceed to 6-0 a lot of teams lacking good rock resists which is quite a few. Non HP Fire Lilligant, Clefairy, Mesprit and Silvally-Water all appreciate the opponent not having Ferroseed so it was a win-win whether he brought it or not. This game didn't end up getting played and obii got the activity win instead.

Week 5 vs Jarii (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-781646580

Didn't really have a lot of time to prep this week as I was staying a dibs' place for the week and pretty much played my match as soon as I got in from a 6hr car journey lol. Despite that I still managed to build a decently solid team.

Gurdurr @ Eviolite

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 180 Def / 80 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
- U-turn
- Healing Wish

The idea behind the Flying Spam core was that if he had a Regirock then Swanna would usually have a good matchup and if he had a Lanturn then Scyther would have a good matchup as well as them both wearing down each others checks and counters. This team originally had scarf Primeape and SD Scyther but I ended up swapping to Gurdurr since the Rock and Normal type matchup was pretty rough. Megazard actually put me onto this Gurdurr set when he beat me in testing with it by it chewing up hits against my Kangaskhan and it's cool because Gurdurr relys a lot on taking hits to set up before it can deal damage. The rest of the team is pretty self-explanatory as it is made up of tried and true core such as Mesprit/Skunk, Mesprit/Gurdurr, Swanna/Lanturn, Scyther/Lanturn.

obii vs Anty (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-782211019

This team was actually built with obii himself as he came up a lot of great ideas he wanted to use and all I needed to do was fit them together in the teambuilder.

Kabutops @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge

This team relys a lot on momentum + hazards to chip down the opponent whilst stopping or deterring the opponent from defogging with Taunt and Defiant. Type: Null is a cool pick and one of the mons obii wanted to use because it can pretty much take on any special attacker and regain momentum with U-Turn. Defensive Mesprit is the physically defensive pivot that sets rocks and Qwilfish covers physical attacker which Mesprit can't such as Kingler. Pyroar and Kabutops give this team a good matchup against most opposing offensive builds whilst banded Primeape is good at breaking defensive cores.

NaCl vs HJAD (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-783032555

This team was actually built by me, dibs and yogi on the train whilst going to meet HJAD irl lol. HJAD is one of our closest mates on this site so naturally we know how he builds and plays really well and we knew we wanted something to abuse a lot of the common things he brings.

I felt like the OG Z-Lovely Kiss Jynx was a good pick against HJAD as he can often be seen to use scarfers slower than it such as Kabutops and also the way dibs has been hyping SubZero Slammer Jynx he might expect it to be that. Tangela is actually there for taking on stuff like Kangaskhan and DD Altaria while Clefairy naturally forms a good core with Tangela by walling special attackers. Qwilfish is good vs AV Crabominable which is a common HJAD bring and Spikes helped the team wallbreak as the team relys a lot on Scarf Alola Rat to punch holes and Chan just spins hazards and helps the Pyroar matchup. This team is pretty Lilligant weak since if you don't have sleep fodder then it can 1v1 clef with Sleep Powder more often than not but HJAD isn't known to being Lilligant a lot.

Thats pretty much it, there were a ton of other teams I made that didn't see the light of day but a lot of them aren't really worth posting. I know I already said it but i'll use any excuse to give EviGaro a s/o for drafting me :blobnom:, really loved the team I was on and was a pleasure to play for the Missys. Hope everyone enjoys reading this and has fun with the teams (even tho most are outdated lol).

I didnt rlly build at all during this tour but I kept theorymonning about one set since day 1 and we were able to use it for our last game

I first thought of Hugo cause I saw it was p damn good at annoying certain balance teams given it's speed and the z dream eater seemed like a p cool tech for the fighters in the tier like poliwrath, gurdurr and hitmonchan, making it easier to get a sweep going w/ it or just get rid of them for other mons paired w/ it, I couldn't really make it shine as a sweeper when I used it but I still think it's a p fun tech to use.

https://pokepast.es/287bed39f0f6313a - vs arifeen
Pretty standard, i used CB skunk bc it was easily the best set/mon in the tier at the time, and gastro was also amazing. The team flowed from there with Scarf aggron being useful to pivot into stout/kang/ori (ppl still used offensive). Was a bit fight weak but I felt gastro plus mes could be enough. In the game I misplayed around gastro as i didnt have to risk the fight z roll and sack skunk/weaken chan. idk why people didn't use sdef chan on teams like this (w/o regirock) as it provides much more utility than non sdef

https://pokepast.es/948972cf9afa6a7e - vs charmflash
We'd won the week and I wanted to prove meganium was viable (which is was last meta). The Mes set was rly good at the time and catching on to luring skunk (which it did in the game) and the rest of the team just kinda flowed, with pompom as a nice anti-fight pick - dibs said i used a bad set that loses to sensu but the team was strong against it so i felt i was fine.

https://pokepast.es/ac024bacda1e0de4 - vs obii
Pyroar/Kingler is a pretty solid core esp when working with a strong defensive backbone inc ghostvally, which is super underrated. I defo regret bringing that weezing set bc its dong and wish i kept tbolt or painsplit, both of which woulda helped a load in the game.

I used pyroar on everyteam bc there is virtually no reason not to when building this style. Regirock can be abused by other breakers and you have a dominance over other offensive mons bc its the third fastest good (non scarf) mon

Sets which are super good and I wanted to use but didnt:

Lycanroc @ Lycanium Z
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
- Drill Run
- Sucker Punch
Very little reason not to run sucker punch. It hits toge significantly harder which is amazing in spikes meta, is naturally stronger than accell so still hits ape/etc harder. The 'downsides' are vs dark type sucker mons but that isn't really significant because shiftry/absol are awful and skunk gets warn down quick and you have to be weakened to kill it.

Throh @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Circle Throw
- Knock Off
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Its pretty much as bulky as Gurdurr except you tank knock off, have nicer natural Sdef, and circle throw. With Spikes up and no tanky ghost type its seriously a bitch to deal with, as phasing is super good in this meta. EVs are pretty customisable as you can run much more sdef or not as much but personally i think phdef is nicest in this meta. The mon isnt too underrated but most people feel the need to run bulk up on it when restalk imo is better as it applies pressure

so this was my first PUPL(I don't count the last one) and I had a lot of fun, I built my team for every week in DPP (except for 1 week iirc) so this is what I came up with:

I wanted to use Swalot for the first week so I decided to go with that. I decided to use bellossom with Stun Spore to give speed control and give swalot the chance of outspeeding faster mons. Bellossom also worked as my switch in to Electabuzz and cacturne which can be annoying due buzz speed tier and cacturne priority. From there I wanted momentum to get swalot safely in the field, I decided pelipper because it makes a decent defensive core with bellossom since they complement each other pretty well. After that I needed stealth rock and something to not lose to Articuno, Purugly and psychic types, Metang gave me all that so I decided to go with that, hp ground kadabra was a bit annoying though. The team was looking really slow since none of my mons broke the benchmark, and misdreavus was annoying, I also needed a lead. I decided to go with rapidash since it gave me a decent misdreavus and sableye check, it was an ok lead and added the team some speed. For last mon, I def needed a scarfer, decided to go with Mr.Mime because I liked healing wish here and it could clean after swalot killed the metang, which is the most common psychic check people use.

For the second week I decided I was going to use Gorebyss in spikestack. I decided to use sub 3 attacks Muk because it has the potential to destroy some teams, and it weakend a lot, also gave me a decent switch to Cacturne which was a pain due its priority. I decided to use metang, for almost the same reasons I used it above. For my scarfer I decided to go Monferno with Thunder Punch because it seemed really cool on paper, and after testing it didn't disappoint. For my lead I decided to use the antilead machoke. s/o Akir for helping on the last stages of this team.

I wanted to use Marowak because its a really scary wallbreaker, basically having no safe switch ins. Same as the Swalot team, added Pelipper to give Marowak a safe switch in the field, while still supporting the team as a great wall that Peli is. I needed Speed, a good lead, and if possible another u-turner, Purugly fit perfectly as my revenge killer and it put me on a good spot as a lead most of the time. I was looking Articuno weak and I still needed Stealth Rock and a psychic check, Metang fit perfectly again, as other articuno checks aren't so splashable. Misdreavus, specially as a lead, was looking hella scary, decided to use Rapidash for that, and because most rapidash checks were already covered in the team. Electabuzz was looking really scary, and pelipper was walling a lot of the team, so mixed special based victreebel come to mind really fast, I decided to use synthesis instead of Frustration or HP fire because it was the best option for the team, Victreebel switch ins were covered in the team as well, so it fit perfectly.

For this week I decided to use Zangoose, it was either the choice of Quick Attack or Shadow Claw, I decided to use Quick Attack and used Sneasel to trap misdreavus. For a rocker I wanted something not named metang or probopass, I decided to give rhydon a shot, with max HP since everything creeps rhydon these days, is kinda pointless to use Speed on it. Since I didn't had metang I needed to check Articuno, I decided to go Spdef Golbat since it switches into cuno and beats it 1vs1, spdef bat also gave me a poliwrath and a special victreebel switch in, as well as momentum with U-turn. I decided to add spikes to the team so cacturne was the choice as a really solid spiker and mon in general. For my lead, I decided to use Misdreavus because, it gave me a spinblock and a memento user with SD zangoose.

Final team!!!

So that's pretty much it, I had a lot of fun this PUPL and the team was great, s/o Robert Alfons for drafting me and being a goat user in general, also s/o to Akir for hosting and because I tested with him a lot. Hope you guys like the teams!

late b/c lazy and I was on a trip. I built mostly ORAS, and although my playing was definitely not the highest level I was at least pretty happy with the teams I built. ORAS is a cool tier which I like a lot b/c of its lack of auto-win pokemon (with broken Z-moves), and very balanced in terms of type synergy, hazard control, etc. Still a decent amount left to experiment with despite everything.

W3- Pretty standard bulky offense centered around bulky NP Beheeyem, with Taunt Monferno as a nice tech to deal with Altaria and prevent Defog from Peli/Brava/Lumi. Honestly a really decent set. Heal Bell + Synthesis choiced leafeon on the other hand is a bit sillier but i have no toxic absorbers on the team and it's an easy switch in to opposing leaf knock off. I brought it against l0ckjaw and both Taunt Ferno and Beheeyem were able to put in a lot of work.

W4- I edited a team lighthouses used earlier in the week to my personal preferences and turned out to really like it. It is a spikestack offense with Roselia to set Spikes, a breaker in SubSplit Rotom, and SD Pawn as the win condition. I brought this against GeneralAnnoyance, though I made some massive mistakes early on including letting Pawniard get burned, which he capitalized on easily.

W5- This team is a balance built around the interactions between CB Reli and Flame Body Rapidash. Things that bop Reli like grass-types and rock-resists are killed by Rapidash or are neutered by Burn respectively, while Reli bops Altaria and fat walls in general. Unfortunately it turned out to be really weak to Shaneghoul's spikestacking team (which I should have recognized b/c turns out I lost to that team in an ORAS ssnl a long time ago :/) and Pearl played a flawless game.

extra- I didn't use this but I thought it looked cool. It has a nice surprise lure Scarfer, an underrated balance breaker in Taunt Wisp Missy, and a good amount of support options for SD Busken to set up and clean a weakened team.

big s/o to EviGaro for drafting me. You are one of the nicest people in this community for sure, and it was great teaming with you for the past two PUPLs. The rest of my team was cool too
