The deadline for this week will occur on Sunday, July 15th, 11:59 PM EST (Monday, July 16th, 3:59 AM GMT). Extensions will not be given. The main source of communication are expected to be from VMs, so make use of those when contacting opponents.

Please save the replays/logs of your matches and post them in this thread or they will be considered null. Not only do they add some enjoyment for the spectators and verify matches, but they can also be used for discussions pertaining to metagame development, among other things.


Managers, if you're issuing substitutes of players, be sure to post here explaining the details and I'll update accordingly. All substitute requests are subject to veto, so bear that in mind.

While not required, it's highly recommended that you submit your teams to me, as they help greatly in dealing with cases where a disconnection occurs.

SM: Taskr vs Arifeen - could be a close one, i feel taskr's definitely more into the meta rn tho so i'd give him the edge
SM: dibs vs Kingler12345 - dibs is an interesting builder who might come out of left field with an underrated threat or two like he did last week, kingler's probably the better player but i think dibs has a slight edge if he puts effort into his build this week
SM: NaCl vs Pepeduce - pepe remains a wildcard imo but i have no idea what nacl is capable of in this tier so
SM: Xiri vs Raiza - not sure how much of a shit raiza gives but if he does give a shit this one's pretty unobjectionable
ORAS: Garay oak vs Dundies - highlight match imo
ORAS: Many vs lockjaw - honestly no idea how good many is at oras atm but i wasnt a fan of lockjaw's week 1 game so many it is
BW: cb aaron judge vs amber lamps - cbt is inferior but he's luckier than amber
DPP: Drud vs MiyoKa - both are solid, another one that could go either way

SM: Sam I Yam vs FLCL - highlight match imo
SM: Kushalos vs yogi - yogi might stand a chance provided he doesn't bring dusclops but kush is decidedly the better player overall
SM: Megazard vs gz - bippy's builds are more interesting imo and gz's builds are solid but easy to take advantage of, i feel zeon needs to move away from his standard balance stuff if he wants to have a shot here
SM: TJ vs Charmflash - tj's good but charmflash is lucky
ORAS: Shadestep vs false - no idea what to expect from shadestep in this meta so giving the edge to false, shadestep's a solid player tho so who knows
ORAS: tko vs RawMelon - tko is fire
BW: ggggd vs Quite Quiet - pablo builds interesting teams and is the better player as well
DPP: TonyFlygon vs GeneralAnnoyance - not been too impressed by GA's performance so far, tony's game in week 1 wasnt amazing either but from hearsay he has more to offer than this

Apparently there is some anxiety over what is legal in BW, so I have come to help alleviate some of it.

Gigalith is legal in BW.

The post with the mons has apparently not been fully updated, so I'll be hijacking it later tonight to fully fix it. Come tomorrow, you can consider it concrete
