[OVERVIEW]

Pyukumuku is the sole viable user of Unaware in ZU, which makes it a key Pokemon for stall teams. Unaware paired with impressive bulk allows Pyukumuku to confront a lot of Pokemon in the tier, such as Kecleon, Crustle, and Rapidash. However, Pyukumuku's shallow movepool doesn't pack any offensive move, making it unable to wall any Pokemon that packs Taunt or Substitute such as Floatzel or Vigoroth. This also means that Pyukumuku relies on Toxic and PP stalling to wear down opposing Pokemon. Its passive nature allows Pokemon such as Probopass and Komala to freely come on the field and set or remove entry hazards. Pyukumuku also has a hard time against a lot of wallbreakers such as Electivire, Shiftry, Abomasnow, and Pinsir because the former three have a super effective STAB move, whereas Mold Breaker Pinsir ignores Unaware.

Moves
========

Spite allows Pyukumuku to reliably PP stall Pokemon that it can't wear down with Toxic such as Komala, Muk, and Duosion. It's also Pyukumuku's sole move able to bypass Substitute. Toxic allows Pyukumuku to wear down Pokemon using less PP than with Spite. However, unlike Spite, Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Bronzor and Komala are common. Rest is a secondary recovery move that allows Pyukumuku to more reliably PP stall Pokemon that can't 3HKO it such as Floatzel and Bulk Up Komala. It also allows Pyukumuku to remove potential status, which allows it to beat Pokemon that rely on Toxic to break walls such as Regigigas. Block allows Pyukumuku to remove a Pokemon from the game, since it will lose its PP before Pyukumuku because of Spite, Rest, and the inability to switch to save PP. This also makes Toxic stalling more reliable, since the foe will lose more and more health at the end of each turn.

Set Details
========

Unaware allows Pyukumuku to beat setup sweepers such as Bulk Up Komala and Swords Dance Combusken. Poisonium Z allows Pyukumuku to Toxic an opposing foe through Taunt. It also prevents Pyukumuku from suddenly becoming Choice-locked by Pokemon such as Switcheroo Floatzel. If Pyukumuku doesn't run Toxic, it can instead hold a Ghostium Z to still benefit from the immunity to Trick and Switcheroo and reduce Knock Off damage. It also provides Pyukumuku with one-time full recovery. Leftovers can be run over a Z-Crystal since it gives Pyukumuku passive recovery, which allows it to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Komala after Stealth Rock and the 3HKO from Duosion.

Usage Tips
========

Switch in Pyukumuku against Pokemon that can set up or can't 2HKO it, such as Crustle and Combusken. It's important from Team Preview to identify which opposing Pokemon is the most dangerous. Such Pokemon that must be trapped by Block will be the target of Pyukumuku's Z-Move in order to ease pressure off its teammates. Use Recover to keep Pyukumuku at full health to check threats such as Choice Band Komala. Switch out if the opposing Pokemon can 2HKO Pyukumuku or commonly packs Taunt or Substitute, such as Vigoroth or Regigigas. If the opposing Pokemon can 2HKO Pyukumuku, use Recover. Otherwise, it should use Block, Spite, or Toxic first and then Recover. If you know the foe can cripple Pyukumuku with Taunt, use Z-Toxic to bypass Taunt. The Defense boost is also nice, since it allows Pyukumuku to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Toucannon. However, since it can only be used once, it should not be prematurely wasted. Pyukumuku can use Rest to cure status such as poison; however, you shouldn't do this if Pyukumuku needs to be awake to take on an opposing Pokemon. Rest also improves Pyukumuku's effectiveness at PP stalling, and if the opposing Pokemon can't 3HKO Pyukumuku, using Rest will allow Pyukumuku to use less PP than the foe.

Team Options
========

Pyukumuku's passive nature limits it to only fitting on stall teams. If used in another archetype, Pyukumuku drains to much momentum and invites some threats to freely come on the field. Lickilicky is Pyukumuku's partner of choice because of its ability to take on special attackers and immunity to Taunt. It can also remove Pyukumuku's status thanks to Heal Bell. Pokemon such as Altaria, Avalugg, Bronzor, and Gourgeist-XL that can take on offensive Grass-types are potent teammates. Pokemon immune to Electric that can beat Electric-types and disturb VoltTurn cores such as Sivally-Ground are great partners. Entry hazard control is a requirement on any stall team; for example, with Stealth Rock up, Pyukumuku is unable to switch into Choice Band Komala. Good hazard removers on stall include Altaria, Avalugg, Silvally-Ground, and Silvally-Dark. Natu is also a great teammate for its ability to bounce Taunt back. If holding a Z-Crystal, Pyukumuku becomes a sufficient Knock Off absorber, which is appreciated by Pokemon that hold Eviolite such as Bronzor.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Soak combined with Toxic can be run over Spite in order to remove the Toxic immunity from Steel- and Poison-types while also removing the foe's STAB boost. However, most Pokemon immune to Toxic aren't affected by the tactic; Probopass can just Volt Switch out, while Muk and Bronzor can use Rest. Furthermore, Komala's and Silvally-Poison's Toxic immunity can't be removed by Soak, and not running Spite leaves Pyukumuku unable to deal with Bulk Up Komala and Duosion. Specially defensive sets are also a possibility, though Pyukumuku's teammates such as Lickilicky, Muk, and Bronzor can cover special attackers. However, Pyukumuku can distinguish from other specially defensive walls because it learns Recover, whereas other specially defensive walls rely on shakier recovery moves in Wish and Rest. It also has a better matchup against specially offensive Water- and Fire-types such as Floatzel and Combusken. Counter allows Pyukumuku to have an offensive move that lets it act even if Taunted, but Pyukumuku lacks the room to pack this move. It also doesn't improve its matchup against special attackers such as Combusken and Beheeyem. Pyukumuku can run a support set with both dual screens and Memento, but this set is outclassed by Meowstic, which can more reliably the set up dual screens with Prankster and is less susceptible to Taunt.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt and Substitute**: Pyukumuku is forced to use Struggle if it gets Taunted. Therefore, any Pokemon that packs Taunt, such as Floatzel and Misdreavus, can beat Pyukumuku. Substitute users are also a major threat to Pyukumuku, since it can't break them and can only use Spite, such as against Vigoroth behind a Substitute.

**Electric- and Grass-types**: Since Pyukumuku is weak to Grass- and Electric-type moves, Pokemon of these types, such as Electivire, Raichu, Zebstrika, Leafeon, Abomasnow, and Shiftry, can easily OHKO or 2HKO Pyukumuku.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Strong wallbreakers, such as Rampardos, Toucannon, and Raticate, can 2HKO Pyukumuku.

**Mold Breaker**: Mold Breaker users, such as Pinsir and Fraxure, ignore Unaware and can therefore break through it thanks to Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, respectively.

**Natu**: Thanks to its ability Magic Bounce, Natu is unaffected by all of Pyukumuku's moves and traps it with a bounced Block or badly poisons it with a bounced Toxic.

Hey guys! I'd like to say I love using this set and tbch I am confident I popularized it on the ladder. U can find me using it in my replays: pink trap. I'd also like to say I made a post using this same strategy almost a year ago using toxapex. It is also on YouTube. I will find the links to prove it when I get home from work. I love that we are now crediting users officially! Good job!

- This also means that Pyukumuku relies on Toxic and PP-Stall to wear down opposing Pokémon. What are some of the cons of being so passive? (Ex. allowing Pokemon such as X and Y to setup freely.)
- Pyukumuku has a hard time against a lot of tiers tiers? such as Electivire, Shiftry, Abomasnow and Pinsir. and why?

The ZU QC team would like to make these changes to Pyukumuku's set. Adjust your entire analysis accordingly, specifically mentioning the improved matchup of both Bulk Up Komala where you have already mentioned and Special Combusken which you have not.

Moves
========

- Recover gives Pyukumuku a reliable recovery move which allows it to consistently check threats throughout the game.
- Block traps the target which allows Pyukumuku to more reliably PP stall or Toxic Stall it.
- Spite, in conjunction with Block, allows Pyukumuku to reliably PP stall Pokémon that are immune to Toxic such as none U-Turn Komala, Muk and Duosion.
- Toxic allows Pyukumuku to wear down Pokémon using less PP than with Spite.
- Rest is a secondary recovery move which allows Pyukumuku to more reliably PP stall Pokémon that can't 3HKO Pyukumuku such as Floatzel and Bulk Up Komala. It also allows Pyukumuku to remove a potential status which allows it to beat Pokémon that relies on Toxic to break walls such as Regigigas.

Set Details
========

- Unaware allows Pyukumuku to beat set up sweepers such as Bulk Up Komala and Swords Dance Combusken.
- Poisonium Z allows Pyukumuku to Toxic an opposing foe through Taunt. It also prevents Pyukumuku from getting Tricked by choice item users such as Floatzel.
- Leftovers can be ran over Poisonium-Z since it gives Pyukumuku a passive recovery which allows it to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Komala after Stealth Rock and the 3HKO from Duosion.

Usage Tips
========

- Switch-in Pyukumuku against Pokémon that can set-up or can't 2HKO Pyukumuku.
- Use Recover to keep Pyukumuku at full health. In deed Pyukumuku needs to be at full health to check threats such as Choice Band Komala.
- Switch-out if the opposing Pokémon can 2HKO Pyukumuku or packs Taunt.
- Only click Block, Spite or Toxic if you're at full health. This isn't necessarily true. Reword this so that Pyukumuku can take 2 Attacks, one for when it uses Block/Spite/Toxic and one for the turn it wants to Recover.
- If you know you're opponent can Taunt you, use Z-Toxic to get through the Taunt. Mention benefits of the Defense boost and where that may come in handy. Mention more about not prematurely wasting Pyukumuku's Z-Move.
- If you are Toxiced and can avoid a 3HKO use Rest. Avoid to use Rest if you need Pyukumuku to beat another Pokémon that can 3HKO it.

It's important to identify from team preview what Pokemon on the opposing team is most threatening and can most easily be removed so that Pyukumuku can trap it and ease pressure off of its teammates. Mention this.

Team Options
========

- Pyukumuku usually fits on stall team. Other teammates need to counter the Pokémon Pyukumuku can't and are walls. This is a funky way to explain Pyukumuku only fitting on stall. Rephrase this bullet point and explain that Pyukumuku doesn't poses as an offensive threat at all due to its passive nature and thats why it only fits on stall.
- Lickilicky is Pyukumuku's partner of choice because of its ability to take on Special Attackers and being immune to Taunt. It can also removes Pyukumuku's status thanks to Heal Bell.
- Pokémon that can take on offensive Grass-type such as Altaria, Avalugg, Bronzor and Gourgeist-XL are potent teammates.
- Electric immunities that can beat Electric-types and disturb VoltTurn such as Sivally-Ground and Vibrava are great partners.
- Hazard control is a requirement in any stall team, for example with Stealth Rock up, Pyukumuku is unable to switch on Choice Band Komala. Good hazard removers in stall include Altaria, Avalugg, Vibrava, Silvally-Ground and Silvally-Dark. Natu is also a great teammate for its ability to also bounce Taunt back.

Mention that when Pyukumuku is holding a Z Crystal, it can become a sufficient Knock Off absorber. Mention specific Pokemon on stall such as Bronzor that appreciate having a Knock Off switch in.

- Soak combined with Toxic can be ran over Spite in order to Toxic immunity from Steel and Poison-types, while also removing opponent STAB. However most Toxic immunities aren't affected by the tactic, Silvally-Poison and Probopass can just U-Turn and Volt-Switch out, while Muk and Bronzor can use Rest. Furthermore not running Spite lets Pyukumuku unable to deal with Bulk Up Komala and Duosion.
- Pyukumuku can run a support set with both Screens and Memento, however this set is outclassed by Meowstick that set more reliably the Screens with Prankster and is less susceptible to Taunt.
- Pyukumuku can run more Specially Defensive set but Special Attacker are most of the time already covered by Pyukumuku's teammates. Mention specifically some of the appeals of a specially defensive spread and some of Pyukumuku's teammates that already specially defensive. (Ex. Lickilicky)
- Innards Out can be ran over Unaware to knock out a Pokémon that could sweep the team. However it leaves Pyukumuku's team without any option against multiple set up sweepers. Take this out, Unaware is the reason you should be running Pyukumuku in the first place.
- Counter allows Pyukumuku to have an offensive move that let it act even if Taunted, but Pyukumuku lacks the room to pack this move. Also mention that Counter doesn't improve Pyukumuku's matchup against Special Attackers such as X, Y, and Z.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt**: Pyukumuku is forced to use Struggle if it gets Taunted. Therefore any Pokémon that packs Taunt, such as Simipour or Misdreavus, can beat Pyukumuku. Include Substitute users such as Vigoroth in this section and change the name of the category appropriately. I would replace Simipour's mention with Floatzel, as Taunt Simipour is an OO and Floatzel is way more common.

**Mold Breaker**: Mold Breaker users, such as Pinsir and Fraxure, ignore Unaware and can therefore break trough it thanks to Swords Dance. Fraxure also gets access to Dragon Dance. I would mention Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, respectively.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Pyukumuku can't handle strong wallbreaker such as Rampardos, Toucannon and Raticate.

**Electric-types and Grass-types**: Since Pyukumuku is weak to Grass and Electric, Pokémon from these types, such as Electivire, Raichu, Leafeon, Abomasnow, Shiftry and Zebstrika, can easily OHKO or 2HKO Pyukumuku. Move Zebstrika in the list so that it reads Electric Electric Electric Grass Grass Grass

**Natu**: Thanks to its ability, Magic Bounce, Natu is unaffected by every Pyukumuku's move and trap it with a bounced Block or toxic poison it with a bounced Toxic.

- Recover gives Pyukumuku a reliable recovery move which allows it to consistently check threats throughout the game. This seems exactly like the description for the move Recover. I think you can remove this Bullet Point entirely, it seems like fluff.

- Poisonium Z allows Pyukumuku to Toxic an opposing foe through Taunt. It also prevents Pyukumuku from getting Tricked by choice item users such as Floatzel. Floatzel doesn't learn Trick, it learns Switcheroo. And don't put Switcherooed. lol. Change "getting Tricked by choice item users such as" to "suddenly becoming choice-locked by Pokemon such as"

- If you know you're opponent can Taunt you, use Z-Toxic to get through the Taunt. The Defense boost is also nice since it allows Pyukumuku to avoid 2HKO from Flame Orb Raticate. However since it can only be used once it should not be prematurely wasted.
- If you are Toxiced and can avoid a 3HKO use Rest. Avoid to use Rest if you need Pyukumuku to beat another Pokémon that can 3HKO it. Add onto this last bullet point discussing that Rest's guaranteed Sleep turns work well in tandem with Spite and it is impossible for the trapped foe to 3HKO Pyukumuku, Pyukumuku can utilize Rest any time its not at full to waste even more of the foe's PP with those guaranteed Sleep turns.

- If you are Toxiced and can avoid a 3HKO use Rest. Avoid to use Rest if you need Pyukumuku to beat another Pokemon that can 3HKO it. This also improves Pyukumuku's effectiveness for PP stalling, in fact if the opposing Pokemon can't 3HKO Pyukumuku, using Rest will allow Pyukumuku to use less PP than the opponent.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt and Substitute**: Pyukumuku is forced to use Struggle if it gets Taunted. Therefore any Pokemon that packs Taunt, such as Floatzel or Misdreavus, can beat Pyukumuku. Substitute are also a major threat to Pyukumuku since it can't break them and can only use Spite against foe behind a Substitute, such as Vigoroth.

**Electric-types and Grass-types**: Since Pyukumuku is weak to Grass and Electric, Pokemon from these types, such as Electivire, Raichu, Zebstrika, Leafeon, Abomasnow, Shiftry, can easily OHKO or 2HKO Pyukumuku.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Pyukumuku can't handle strong wallbreakers such as Rampardos, Toucannon and Raticate. Just need to mention that they can 2HKO it.

**Mold Breaker**: Mold Breaker users, such as Pinsir and Fraxure, ignore Unaware and can therefore break trough it thanks to respectively Swords Dance and Dragon Dance.

**Natu**: Thanks to its ability, Magic Bounce, Natu is unaffected by every Pyukumuku's move and trap it with a bounced Block or toxic poison it with a bounced Toxic.

Overview
  • Mention Komala instead of Silvally-Poison. It's also Toxic immune but significantly more relevant. U-turn sets (AV or SpDef with U-turn/Spin) don't get trapped either.
Moves
  • Mention Spite bypassing Subs
  • I think you should highlight how good Block + Spite is at basically removing a Pokemon. Currently the emphasis is on Toxic + Block, which, while good, is not always even ran (Recover/Spite/Block/Rest is a possible set), so I'd rather switch to the other.
Set Details
  • I'd specify you're using Z-Spite with Ghostium but otherwise this is very good.
Usage Tips
  • I think the content here is good but it has serious grammar issues. Try to fix it up yourself before sending it to GP and if you're struggling feel free to ask me for some help.
Team Options
  • Not a big fan of all the Vibrava mentions as it's really not that good. Remove them where you can.

Other Options
  • I assume you mean 'remove the Toxic immunity' in the first line.
  • Very important is that Komala's Toxic immunity is not removed by Soak
  • Silvally-Poison does not get changed by Soak due to RKS System. Remove it as an example.
  • Fix up the portion about the SpDef set so it flows better. Again, contact me if you need help.
QC 3/3, feel like this is a new record. Move to GP after this is implemented!

[OVERVIEW]

Pyukumuku is the sole viable user of Unaware in ZU, which makes it a key Pokemon for stall teams. Unaware paired with an impressive bulk allows Pyukumuku to trap a lot of Pokemon in the tier, such as Kecleon, Crustle, (AC) and Rapidash. Pyukumuku's shallow movepool doesn't pack any offensive move, (AC) turning it unable to wall any Pokemon that packs Taunt or Substitute such as Floatzel or Vigoroth. This also means that Pyukumuku relies on Toxic and PP-Stall stalling to wear down opposing Pokemon. Its passive nature allows Pokemon such as Probopass and Komala to freely come on the field and set or remove the hazards. Pyukumuku has a hard time against a lot of wallbreakers such as Electivire, Shiftry, Abomasnow, (AC) and Pinsir because the formers three have a super effective STAB move, whereas Mold Breaker Pinsir ignores Unaware.

Spite allows Pyukumuku to reliably PP stall Pokemon that it can't wear down with Toxic such as Komala, Muk, (AC) and Duosion. It's also Pyukumuku's sole move able to bypass Substitute. Toxic allows Pyukumuku to wear down Pokemon using less PP than with Spite. However, (AC) unlike Spite, Toxic immunities, (RC) such as Bronzor and Komala, (RC) are common. Rest is a secondary recovery move which that allows Pyukumuku to more reliably PP stall Pokemon that can't 3HKO Pyukumuku such as Floatzel and Bulk Up Komala. It also allows Pyukumuku to remove a potential status, (AC) which allows it to beat Pokemon that relies on Toxic to break walls such as Regigigas. Block allows Pyukumuku to remove a Pokemon from the game since it will lose its PP before Pyukumuku because of Spite, Rest, (AC) and its unability inability to switch to save PP. This also makes Toxic stall more reliable, (AC) since the opponent foe will lose more and more health at the end of each turn.

Set Details

Unaware allows Pyukumuku to beat setup (set up -> setup) sweepers such as Bulk Up Komala and Swords Dance Combusken. Poisonium Z allows Pyukumuku to Toxic an opposing foe through Taunt. It also prevents Pyukumuku from suddenly becoming choice Choice-locked by Pokemon such as Floatzel. If Pyukumuku doesn't run Toxic, it can instead hold a Ghostium Z to still benefits from the immunity to Trick, (AC) / Switcheroo, (AC) and the Knock Off damage reduction. It also allows provides Pyukumuku with one full recovery. Leftovers can be ran over a Z-Crystal crystal since it gives Pyukumuku a passive recovery, (AC) which allows it to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Komala after Stealth Rock and the 3HKO from Duosion.

Usage Tips

The Defense boost is also nice, (AC) since it allows Pyukumuku to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Toucannon. However, (AC) since it can only be used once, (AC) it should not be prematurely wasted. You Pyukumuku can use Rest to cure a status such as poison. However; however, (optional) you shouldn't do this if Pyukumuku needs to be awake to take on an opposing Pokémon Pokemon. Rest also improves Pyukumuku's effectiveness at PP stalling, in factand if the opposing Pokemon can't 3HKO Pyukumuku, using Rest will allow Pyukumuku to use less PP than the opponent foe.

Team Options

Pyukumuku's passive nature lets it only fit on stall teams. If used in another archetype, Pyukumuku drains to much momentum and it invites some threats to freely come on the field. Unaware allows Pyukumuku to beat setup sweepers such as Bulk Up Komala and Swords Dance Combusken. Poisonium Z allows Pyukumuku to Toxic an opposing foe through Taunt. It also prevents Pyukumuku from suddenly becoming Choice-locked by Pokemon such as Floatzel. If Pyukumuku doesn't run Toxic, it can instead hold a Ghostium Z to still benefit from the immunity to Trick,(RC) and Switcheroo, and Knock Off damage reduction. It also provides Pyukumuku with one full recovery. Leftovers can be ran over a Z-Crystal,(AC) since it gives Pyukumuku passive recovery, which allows it to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Komala after Stealth Rock and the 3HKO from Duosion.

Usage Tips
========

Switch in Pyukumuku against Pokemon that can setup set up or can't 2HKO Pyukumuku such as Crustle and Combusken. It's important from Team Preview to identify which opposing Pokemon is the most dangerous. Such Pokemon that must be trapped by Block or which will be the target of Pyukumuku's Z-Move in order to ease pressure off its teammates. (something was weird about this sentence. I tried to make it make sense, but if I switched the meaning then please correct it) Use Recover to keep Pyukumuku at full health because Pyukumuku needs to be at full health to check threats such as Choice Band Komala. Switch out if the opposing Pokemon can 2HKO Pyukumuku or commonly packs Taunt / or Substitute, such as Vigoroth or Regigigas. If the opposing Pokemon can 2HKO Pyukumuku, use Recover. Otherwise, it should Block / Spite / Toxic use Block, Spite, or Toxic first and then Recover. If you know the foe can Taunt can Pyukumuku with Taunt, use Z-Toxic to bypass Taunt. The Defense boost is also nice, since it allows Pyukumuku to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Toucannon. However, since it can only be used once, it should not be prematurely wasted. Pyukumuku can use Rest to cure a status such as poison ; however poison;(SC) however,(AC) you shouldn't do this if Pyukumuku needs to be awake to take on an opposing Pokemon. Rest also improves Pyukumuku's effectiveness at PP stalling, and if the opposing Pokemon can't 3HKO Pyukumuku, using Rest will allow Pyukumuku to use less PP than the foe.

Team Options
========

Pyukumuku's passive nature lets it only fit on stall teams. If used in another archetype, Pyukumuku drains to much momentum and invites some threats to freely come on the field. Lickilicky is Pyukumuku's partner of choice because of its ability to take on special attackers and being immune immunity to Taunt. It can also removes remove Pyukumuku's status thanks to Heal Bell. Pokemon such as Altaria, Avalugg, Bronzor,(AC) and Gourgeist-XL that can take on offensive Grass-type are potent teammates. Electric immunities that can beat Electric-types and disturb VoltTurn cores such as Sivally-Ground are great partners. Entry hazard control is a requirement in on any stall team ; for team;(SC) for example, with Stealth Rock up, Pyukumuku is unable to switch into Choice Band Komala. Good hazard removers in on stall include Altaria, Avalugg, Silvally-Ground, and Silvally-Dark. Natu is also a great teammate for its ability to also bounce Taunt back. If holding a Z-Crystal, Pyukumuku becomes a sufficient Knock Off absorber, which is appreciated by Pokemon that hold Eviolite such as Bronzor.

=============

Soak combined with Toxic can be ran over Spite in order to remove the Toxic immunity from Steel- and Poison-types while also removing a foe's STAB boost. However, most Toxic-(AH)immune Pokemon immunities aren't affected by the tactic ; Probopass tactic;(SC) Probopass can just Volt-Switch out, while Muk and Bronzor can use Rest. Furthermore Komala's Komala and Silvally-Poison's Toxic immunity can't be removed by Soak, and not running Spite lets leaves Pyukumuku unable to deal with Bulk Up Komala and Duosion. Specially defensive sets are also a possibility, though Pyukumuku's teammates such as Lickilicky, Muk, and Bronzor can cover special attackers. However Pyukumuku can distinguish from other specially defensive walls because it learns Recover, whereas other specially defensive walls rely on shakier recovery moves in Wish and Rest. It also has a better matchup against specially offensive Water-(AH) and Fire-types such as Floatzel and Combusken. Counter allows Pyukumuku to have an offensive move that lets it act even if Taunted, but Pyukumuku lacks the room to pack this move. It also doesn't improve its matchup against special attackers such as Combusken and Beheeyem. Pyukumuku can run a support set with both dual screens and Memento, but this set is outclassed by Meowstick,(AC) which can more reliably the set up dual screens with Prankster and is less susceptible to Taunt.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt and Substitute**: Pyukumuku is forced to use Struggle if it gets Taunted. Therefore, any Pokemon that packs Taunt, such as Floatzel or and Misdreavus, can beat Pyukumuku. Substitute users are also a major threat to Pyukumuku, since it can't break them and can only use Spite against foe, such as against Vigoroth behind a Substitute.

**Electric-types and Grass-types**: Since Pyukumuku is weak to Grass- and Electric-type moves, Pokemon of these types, such as Electivire, Raichu, Zebstrika, Leafeon, Abomasnow, and Shiftry, can easily OHKO or 2HKO Pyukumuku.

[OVERVIEW]

Pyukumuku is the sole viable user of Unaware in ZU, which makes it a key Pokemon for stall teams. Unaware paired with impressive bulk allows Pyukumuku to trap confront (technicality) a lot of Pokemon in the tier, such as Kecleon, Crustle, and Rapidash. However, Pyukumuku's shallow movepool doesn't pack any offensive move, turning making it unable to wall any Pokemon that packs Taunt or Substitute such as Floatzel or Vigoroth.

However, unlike Spite, Toxic immunities Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Bronzor and Komala are common. Rest is a secondary recovery move that allows Pyukumuku to more reliably PP stall Pokemon that can't 3HKO it such as Floatzel and Bulk Up Komala. It also allows Pyukumuku to remove potential status, which allows it to beat Pokemon that relies rely on Toxic to break walls such as Regigigas. Block allows Pyukumuku to remove a Pokemon from the game, since it will lose its PP before Pyukumuku because of Spite, Rest, and the inability to switch to save PP. This also makes Toxic stalling more reliable, since the foe will lose more and more health at the end of each turn.
