Set Description
=============
Serperior uses its great Speed tier to set Leech Seed and gain passive recovery at the end of the turn. Then, Serperior alternates between Protect and Substitute, chipping the opponent and stalling turns. This allows Serperior to beat many top threats, such as Garchomp and Mega Metagross. To round out the set, Serperior uses Leaf Storm, a powerful STAB move that gains power with each use thanks to Contrary. This allows Serperior to beat some stall Pokemon, such as Mega Sableye, Manaphy, and Slowbro.

EVs
=============
Serperior needs maximum Speed investment to outspeed base 110 Speed threats, most notably Mega Diancie, Mega Metagross, and non-Choice Scarf Archeops. The Defense investment allows Serperior to beat Jolly Choice Band Terrakion without investing in HP, so Serperior gets the largest percentage of its own HP from opponents with Leech Seed. The Special Attack investment gives it a better chance to KO Mega Sableye with two Leaf Storms.

Usage Tips
=============
Versus Sableye, Serperior can use Protect turn 1 to avoid Taunt, which will still be a priority move due to Prankster when they Mega Evolve. This will allow Serperior to get a Substitute off against Mega Sableye to avoid potential Metal Burst damage. If they use Calm Mind, use Leaf Storm. However, if they choose not to Mega Evolve, they preserve Prankster Taunt and the matchup becomes a tossup between Leaf Storm on Taunt or Substitute on Metal Burst. However, it should be noted that many Sableye do not carry Metal Burst.

Versus various targets that are weak to Grass, such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Slowbro, Serperior should use Leaf Storm repeatedly instead of setting Leech Seed.

In most other matchups, using Leech Seed turn 1 before alternating between Protect and Substitute provides the best chances of winning, provided Serperior survives the foe's initial attack.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Serperior may occasionally use Worry Seed, stopping Registeel from using Rest by replacing its ability with Insomnia. Worry Seed also beats Mega Mawile by removing Huge Power and Dragon Dance Mega Altaria by removing Pixilate. Taunt beats stall Pokemon as well and gains other matchups such as Taunt Mega Aggron and Shell Smash Crustle. These moves see less use because they require dropping Protect, which will often lose more matchups than Worry Seed or Taunt will gain.

Serperior uses its great Speed tier to set Leech Seed, gaining passive recovery at the end of the turn. Then, Serperior alternates between Protect and Substitute, gaining HP while the opponent is chipped down. (id mention what you beat doing this like garchomp and metagross). To round out the set, Serperior uses Leaf Storm, gaining a powerful STAB move that gains power with each use, thanks to Contrary. This allows Serperior to beat some Pokemon stall Pokemon (quick grammar thing here), such as Mega Sableye, Manaphy and Slowbro.

EVs
=============
Serperior needs maximum Speed investment to outspeed base 110 Speed threats, most notably Mega Diancie, Mega Metagross, and non-Choice Scarf Archeops. The Defense investment allows Serperior to beat offensive Snorlax, with minimum HP investment so Serperior gets the largest percentage of its own HP from opponents with Leech Seed. The Special Attack is for the best chances into Metal Burst Mega Sableye.

Usage Tips
=============
Versus Snorlax, Serperior should use Substitute turn 1 to avoid being OHKOed by Choice Band Giga Impact. If Snorlax uses Return, use Protect and then Leech Seed. There is no way to beat Amnesia Snorlax with this moveset. (talked about this on discord)

Versus Sableye, use Protect turn 1 to avoid Taunt, which will still be a priority move due to Prankster when they Mega Evolve. This will allow Serperior to get a Substitute off against Mega Sableye to avoid potential Metal Burst damage. If they use Calm Mind, use Leaf Storm.

Other Options
=============
Serperior may occasionally use Worry Seed, stopping Snorlax or Registeel from using Rest by replacing their abilities with Insomnia (worry seed also beats mawile because it nullifies huge power and offensive dd malt by removing pixilate). (I think taunt is worth mentioning as another option, beats a lot of the same mons worry seed does but also some other random stuff like mega aggron and crustle. loss of tect can be noticable in some mus though)

I don't know about this because if everyone start doing that then Mega Sab will never Mega turn 1 and raw taunt to keep prankster for the second taunt.

Taunt beats stall Pokemon as well, but gains other matchups such as Mega Aggron and Crustle.
Maybe mention the fact that Aggron can carry taunt too and that's why you beat it w/ taunt.

Taunt beats stall Pokemon as well, but and I think? it seems like you're saying taunt beats stall pokemon and these things. or do you mean "but loses" gains other matchups such as Taunt Mega Aggron and Shell Smash Crustle. These moves see less use because they require dropping Protect, which will often lose more matchups than Worry Seed or Taunt will gain.
