[SET COMMENTS]
Quagsire is a mediocre physical wall in AG that fits on stall and bulky balance builds. It is outclassed by physical walls such as defensive Zygarde-C, Groudon, Necrozma-DM, and Lunala due to its average defense stats and passive nature. However, Quagsire holds a niche as the only Zacian-C counter in AG. Additionally, it also checks Coil and Dragon Dance variants of Glare Zygarde and Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM. Earthquake allows Quagsire to directly damage Zacian-C and chip other switch-ins such as Eternatus, Kyogre, and Necrozma-DM. Scald can be used to fish for burns against Toxic-immune Pokemon such as Eternatus, Necrozma-DM, and Ferrothorn. Haze is an alternative that allows Quagsire to act as an emergency check to setup sweepers such as Geomancy Xerneas, Dragon Dance Zekrom, and Swords Dance Groudon. Recover provides longevity throughout the game. Toxic threatens and prevents strong breakers such as Kyogre, Calyrex-S, Xerneas, and Yveltal from switching in for free. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents Quagsire from being chipped down by entry hazards and lets it remain fully healthy to switch into Zacian-C, while Rocky Helmet can be used on teams with strong entry hazard control to wear down and pressure Zacian-C and prevent Quagsire from being too passive.

Quagsire needs a lot of support and is vulnerable to almost every special attacker. Thus, it must be paired with solid specially defensive walls such as Eternatus, Ferrothorn, Blissey, and Kyurem-W. Due to Quagsire's poor natural bulk, checks to naturally strong physical wallbreakers such as Marshadow, Groudon, and Zekrom are also appreciated, so teammates like Lunala, Eternatus, and Zygarde-C are solid options. Offensive Pokemon like Xerneas, Kyogre, and other setup sweepers can take advantage of Quagsire's passive nature and set up on it; Ditto is an excellent teammate to punish the aforementioned Pokemon.

Other Options
=============

Curse is useful in some situations, but Quagsire's standard moves are hard to forgo, and the omnipresence of Toxic in AG makes this set very unreliable.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Special Attackers**: Common special attackers like Kyogre, Eternatus, Calyrex-S, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Kyurem-W can threaten Quagsire and force it to switch out.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Due to Quagsire's mediocre natural bulk, it fails to beat strong wallbreakers such as Life Orb Groudon, Marshadow, and Urshifu-S.

**Toxic**: Toxic is common in AG and seen on both passive walls and offensive Pokemon. If Quagsire is badly poisoned, it struggles to check Zacian-C.

name: Quagsire
move 1: Earthquake / Haze Feel free to lmk if you disagree, but forgoing Earthquake gives quag like 0 ability to ever threaten anything, with stuff like sub Zekrom even being able to force 50/50's and it not actually dealing with Zacian-C if you don't burn
move 2: Scald / Haze
move 3: Recover
move 4: Toxic
item: Heavy-Duty Boots / Rocky Helmet I think Rocky Helmet can actually be super important especially with the usage of prough zacian, since you just lose long term to pp stalling against that set without making any progress, and it's currently a main slash on the dex set
ability: Unaware
nature: Relaxed
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

Quagsire is a mediocre physical wall in Anything Goes that fits on stall and bulky balance builds. It is outclassed by physical walls such as defensive Zygarde-C, Groudon, Necrozma-DM, (quite big as the other top Zacian check) and Lunala due to its average defense stats and passive nature. However, it holds a niche as the only Zacian-C counter in Anything Goes. Additionally, with the correct moveset, I think all movesets should technically "check" at the very least it checks Coil and Dragon Dance variants of Glare Zygarde and Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM. Earthquake is its main STAB move, allowing it to directly damage Zacian-C and chip other switch-ins such as Eternatus, Kyogre, and Necrozma-DM. Scald may be used to fish for burns against Toxic immune pokemon such as Eternatus, Necrozma-DM, and Ferrothorn. Recover is mandatory to ensure health and longevity throughout the game. Toxic is essential to threaten and prevent strong breakers such as Kyogre, Calyrex-SR, Xerneas, and Yveltal from hard switching in for free. Haze is another viable pick - it allows Quagsire to act as an emergency check to set up sweepers such as Geomancy Xerneas, Dragon Dance Zekrom and Kyurem-Black, and Swords Dance Groudon. Quagsire hates even very little chip damage maybe quickly explain how that hinders it to the point of not checking Zacian-C anymore, so Heavy-Duty Boots is necessary unless strong hazard control is provided by teammates, in which case Rocky Helmet can be used to chip down Zacian-C and other physical attackers making it much less passive overall. EVs are maximized in physical defense so that Quagsire can comfortably check the aforementioned physical attackers.

Quagsire needs a lot of support and is vulnerable to almost every special attacker. Thus, it must be paired with solid specially defensive walls such as Eternatus, Ferrothorn, Blissey, and Kyurem-White. Due to its poor natural bulk, checks to naturally strong (felt like adding this since it does check quite a few physical breakers, just not the super strong unboosted ones) physical breakers such as Marshadow, Groudon, and Zekrom are also appreciated. Lunala, Eternatus, and Zygarde-C are solid options. Due to Quagsire's passive nature, offense pokemon like Xerneas, Kyogre, and other set up sweepers can comfortably set up on Quagsire so Ditto is an excellent teammate which can punish the said sweepers.

Stockpile Curse may prove to be useful in some situations, but it's standard moves are hard to forgo. Besides, and the omnipresence of Toxic makes the Stockpile set it inefficient. Rocky Helmet is an option on teams which can provide solid hazard control for Quagsire. Curse > Stockpile lets it break easier with EQ and Quake gives you sp.def boosts in a pinch anyway so the extra power that even breaks stuff like defensive Zygarde is better than stockpile imo, Rocky Helmet change moved to reflect set change
