Question about Everstone and Dittos

When breeding with dittos, can a male equip the everstone?
Conversely, can a ditto equip the everstone when breeding with females?

Both questions suppose that the offspring pokemon will inherit the nature of the parent that equipped it disregarding the genders.

No and yes as said before, but remember that when breeding with a ditto only the ditto can equip the everstone and get its bonus, not the other pokemon.

And IDK if you knew or cared but you may still only use a male to pass on egg moves sadly, eben when breeding with a ditto.
