Qwilfish's good Speed tier and useful ability give it many opportunities to set Spikes and spread status, although it faces competition as a Spikes setter from Accelgor, Garbodor, and Ferroseed and must compete with Wishiwashi and Lanturn for the role of bulky Water-type. Spikes are very useful in NU; the tier has few non-grounded Pokemon, and many staples such as Silvally formes, Piloswine, and Cofagrigus are greatly hindered by chip damage due to their lack of relialerecovery. Poison Jab hits the Water- and Grass-types that resist Qwilfish's STAB Liquidation and discourages Eldegoss from spinning away Qwilfish's hazards. Taunt is an option over Poison Jab that prevents Pokemon Qwilfish cannot significantly damage, such as Ferroseed, Weezing, and Garbodor, from freely setting entry hazards against it. Thunder Wave lets Qwilfish cripple offensive Pokemon such as Toxicroak, Decidueye, and Basculin, ensuring that it does not give them free opportunities to set up or wallbreak. Alternatively, Toxic allows Qwilfish to cripple bulky switch-ins such as Quagsire and Rotom-S, but be aware that it will make Qwilfish complete setup bait for Toxicroak. The EV spread allows Qwilfish to outspeed fully invested Decidueye and Sandaconda. Black Sludge is the gives Qwilfish reliable recovery; Rocky Helmet is also usable, however, allowing Qwilfish to chip physical attackers such as Silvally-Dark and Rapidash.

Qwilfish's value primarily comes from its ability to set up Spikes, so teammates that appreciate the chip damage Spikes provide work well with it. Strong wallbreakers like Kangaskhan, Basculin, and Decidueye appreciate Spikes's ability to wear down switch-ins such as Ferroseed, Lanturn, and Miltank; Decidueye can also spinblock for Qwilfish. Sweepers like Silvally-Dark, Toxicroak, and Ninjask also become more threatening with Spikes on the field. Despite being a Water-type, Qwilfish is unable to switch into Ground-types like Sandaconda and Piloswine due to its Poison typing. Thus, it is necessary for Qwilfish to be paired with a Pokemon that can switch into those Ground-types, such as Decidueye, Eldegoss, or Gourgeist-S. Qwilfish partners well with specially defensive Pokemon like Miltank and Clefairy; they can switch into special attacks that would KO Qwilfish, and it can take on Pokemon that threaten them such as Sawk and Silvally-Poison.

Slash Rocky Helmet as an item option (and add a sentence about it somewhere). It's a generally good option for accruing chip damage off of U-turn uses from Pokemon like Silvally-Steel.

Qwilfish's good speed tier and useful ability give it many opportunities to set Spikes and spread status, although it faces competition as a Spikes setter from Garbodor and Ferroseed and must compete with Wishiwashi, Quagsire, and Lanturn for the role of bulky water.
I don't think Quagsire really gives Qwilfish any competition; they don't typically go on the same types of teams (Quagsire = stall and occasionally some balance builds, Qwilfish = balance and offense).

Taunt is an option over Poison Jab that prevents Pokemon Qwilfish cannot significantly damage, such as Ferroseed, Toxicroak, and Garbodor, from setting hazards or boosting their stats.
Toxicroak is faster than this Qwilfish set and thus can easily set up Nasty Plot against it (ignoring the Thunder Wave risk of course).

The EV spread allows Qwilfish to outspeed fully invested Decidueye, Sandaconda, and Hitmontop, and the remaining EVs are invested in HP and Defense to maximize its physical bulk.
Hitmontop isn't relevant enough to warrant mentioning here, and the point about remaining EVs is fluff and thus can be removed.

Add a sentence about fast Focus Sash sets; I've run these on aggressive Spikes stacking builds, and they're pretty consistent. Moves I went with were Spikes / Poison Jab / Taunt / Explosion to maximize chances of preventing/dissuading hazard removal.

Qwilfish's value primarily comes from its ability to set up Spikes, so teammates that appreciate the chip damage Spikes provide work well with Qwilfish. Strong wallbreakers like Basculin and Decidueye appreciates Spikes' ability to wear down switch-ins like Mareanie and Miltank; Decidueye can also spinblock for Qwilfish. Sweepers like Silvally-Dark, Toxicroak, and Ninjask also become more threatening with Spikes on the field, so they partner well with Qwilfish.
Definitely add Kangaskhan as a wallbreaker partner; KangaSpikes is a legitimate archetype even in 2020. Remove Mareanie as a mention; it's not relevant enough at this point in time.

Despite being a Water-type, Qwilfish is unable to switch into Ground-types like Sandaconda and Piloswine due to its Poison typing. Thus, it is necessary for Qwilfish to be paired with a Pokemon that can switch into those Ground-types, such as Decidueye, Eldegoss, or Gourgeist.
Clarify that it's Gourgeist-S, not the base forme.

QC 1/2 when done.

Implemented.

Out of curiosity, would Boots ever be worth running? Without reliable recovery hazards can do a lot to you, especially since Qwilfish switches into knock off users pretty frequently.

Poison Jab hits the Water-types Water- and Grass-types that resist Qwilfish's STAB Liquidation and also prevents discourages Eldegoss from being able to Rapid Spin away Qwilfish's hazards (Goss still lives a pjab fine and can spin if needed, with faster goss being able to spin, outspeed, and put qwil to sleep / leaf storm. Changing prevent to discourage suffices). Taunt is an option over Poison Jab that prevents Pokemon Qwilfish cannot significantly damage, such as Ferroseed, Weezing, and Garbodor, from freely setting hazards against it. Thunder Wave lets Qwilfish cripple offensive Pokemon such as Toxicroak, Decidueye, and Basculin, ensuring that Qwilfish does not give them free opportunities to set up or wallbreak. Toxic allows Qwilfish to cripple bulky switch-ins such as Quagsire and Rotom-Fan, but be aware that it will make Qwilfish complete set-up bait for Toxicroak. The EV spread allows Qwilfish to outspeed fully invested Decidueye and Sandaconda. Black Sludge is the item of choice to give Qwilfish reliable recovery; Rocky Helmet is also usable, however, allowing Qwilfish to chip physical attackers such as Sawk and Rapidash. On hyper offensive teams, a suicide lead set with maximum Speed investment, a Focus Sash, and Spikes, Poison Jab, Taunt, and Explosion can be effective at keeping hazards up; however, most teams would prefer the defensive utility and longevity of a bulkier set. (I've rarely seen Suicide Lead Qwil, and with Accelgor now in the tier I believe this mention is irrelevant) (See below about HDB)

Qwilfish's value primarily comes from its ability to set up Spikes, so teammates that appreciate the chip damage Spikes provide work well with Qwilfish. Strong wallbreakers like Kangaskhan, Basculin, (AC) and Decidueye appreciates Spikes' ability to wear down switch-ins such as Ferroseed, Lanturn, (AC) and Miltank; Decidueye can also spinblock for Qwilfish. Sweepers like Silvally-Dark, Toxicroak, and Ninjask also become more threatening with Spikes on the field, so they partner well with Qwilfish. Looking great, qc 2/2! I mostly did some minor GP stuff like adding the serial comma to a couple lists.

As for HDB, it's probably not the hardest to justify on some teams, but the merit of Black Sludge and Rocky Helmet are usually too hard to pass up. I'll leave it up to you if you've had experience with HDB Qwilfish and think a mention is worthwhile. Otherwise, leaving it left unsaid works as well.

Qwilfish's good Speed tier and useful ability and adequate physical bulk bolstered by Intimidate (I assume this is why Intimidate gives it many opportunities to set Spikes. If forcing out foes is another reason, you should add that. Replace "adequate" with a more accurate adjective if needed.) give it many opportunities to set Spikes and spread status set Spikes, spread status, and tank physical hits (if it acceptably fills the role of "bulky water", this feels like a fair assumption), although it faces competition as a Spikes setter from Accelgor, Garbodor, and Ferroseed and must compete with Wishiwashi and Lanturn for the role of bulky water. Spikes are very useful in NU; the tier has few non-grounded Pokemon, and many staples such as Silvally formes, Piloswine, and Cofagrigus are greatly hindered by its chip damage due to their lack of reliable recovery. Poison Jab hits the Water- and Grass-types that resist Qwilfish's STAB Liquidation and also discourages Eldegoss from Rapid Spinning away removing Qwilfish's hazards with Rapid Spin. Taunt is an option over Poison Jab that prevents Pokemon Qwilfish cannot significantly damage, such as Ferroseed, Weezing, and Garbodor, from freely setting their own hazards against it. Thunder Wave lets Qwilfish cripple offensive Pokemon such as Toxicroak, Decidueye, and Basculin, ensuring that Qwilfish does not give them free opportunities to set up or wallbreak preventing them from freely setting up or breaking through Qwilfish's teammates (I assume Qwilfish is not the "wall" in "wallbreak"). Toxic instead allows Qwilfish to cripple bulky switch-ins such as Quagsire and Rotom-S, but be aware that it will it makes Qwilfish complete setup bait for Toxicroak. The EV spread allows 144 Speed EVs allow Qwilfish to outspeed fully invested Decidueye and Sandaconda running 252 Speed EVs. [BREAK] Black Sludge is the item of choice to give Qwilfish reliable recovery; Rocky Helmet is also usable, however, allowing Qwilfish to chip physical attackers such as Sawk and Rapidash. (Unless there are specific situations where Sludge and Helmet have use beyond the general "heal" and "chip physical mons", in which case you should give them)

Qwilfish's value primarily comes from its ability primary niche is to set up Spikes, so teammates that appreciate the chip damage Spikes provides work well with Qwilfish as partners. Strong wallbreakers like Kangaskhan, Basculin, and Decidueye appreciate Spikes's ability to wear down switch-ins walls such as Ferroseed, Lanturn, and Miltank; Decidueye can also spinblock for Qwilfish. Sweepers like Silvally-Dark, Toxicroak, and Ninjask (Do these sweepers pair especially well with Qwilfish, or are they merely some prominent sweepers, used because all sweepers like Spikes support? If the former, you should elaborate. If the latter, make clear that the focus is sweepers in general.) also become more threatening with Spikes on the field, so they partner well with Qwilfish. [BREAK] Despite being a Water-type, Qwilfish,(Add Comma) despite being a Water-type,(Add Comma) is unable to switch into Ground-types like Sandaconda and Piloswine due to its Poison typing. Thus, it is necessary for Qwilfish to be Qwilfish must be paired with a Pokemon that can switch into such Ground-types, such as like Decidueye, Eldegoss, or Gourgeist-S. Qwilfish partners well with specially defensive Pokemon like Miltank and Clefairy Specially defensive Pokemon like Miltank and Clefairy make good partners; they can switch into special attacks that would KO Qwilfish, and Qwilfish for Qwilfish, who in return can take on Pokemon that threaten them such as Sawk and Silvally-Poison.

Finished. In the sentence about Rocky Helmet accumulating chip damage, I changed a mention of Sawk to Silvally-Dark, since Sawk will often EQ it (which isn't a contact move and thus does not activate Rocky Helmet).
