• Qwilfish finds its role in the PU metagame by being one of the best Spikes and Toxic Spikes setters in the tier.
• Qwilfish has the ability Intimidate which allows it to take on a lot of the tiers physical attackers such as Skuntank, Hitmonchan and Kabutops. Whilst also being able to wear them down with Rocky Helmet.
• Qwilfish's Poison-typing can be really helpful in absorbing Toxic Spikes as the PU metagame lacks a lot of viable grounded Poison-types.
