As a host note, both villagers and mafia members can go to the temples.

In short every person on the playerlist COULD visit every temple.

The success of such endeavors is what will vary but there is no temple whose entry condition is a specific faction by name only.

Also feel free to guess what you think each temple's entry condition is in your role PM. I will not confirm/deny but you can get bonus points for being the first to guess them all or most accurate when the game ends (will not be confirmed until end)! Plus it will be helpful to see what hints were successful and what were too vague/misleading.

ALSO ALSO the Ness of Brodgar's description is not a trick - no possible result will harm you or kill you.

1 additional note:

You can submit a guess at The Unknown Temple's name and codename each night in addition to whichever other temple you visit if you want, I will tell you if you are right or wrong. If you get both right, you can then enter The Unknown Temple the following night by telling it its names.

Can temples affect people differently depending on alignment?

hello i am paying like 5% attention to this game

if you dm me i will gladly talk about whatever you present me with but those of you expecting me to have any knowledge of anything else that's going on will be extremely disappointed

pm me a codename/name combo you want to be guessed for the unknown temple
i will let you know what the result is after i try it
first come first serve

also if you have no fuckin idea what to do just go to the ness of brodgar, the rewards are almost certainly shitty but its better than nothing

My main issue with Heaven is that Mafia can choose whether or not they want to screw with it by sending one extra guy there if they don't want the night actions out of there, Night 1, I assume they'd want the heaven info so would probably go with that.

My second thought is that the Temples that are locked behind some sort of challenge walls (i.e Heaven) probably have better night action rewards then say, a temple counted under "randable"

Two things I'm mostly curious about are what exactly constitutes a challenge. Will we get a mental test or s which we have to get correct? That would be kind of cool.

Secondly exactly how many people are needed for the likes of the temple of heaven or Stonehenge. Is it a number close to 5 which we could do anytime or something like 10 which we may not be able to gather in later rounds? I doubt it's so big as the second but it's food for thought.

Requirements for pram is probably “not visited by anyone else that night” tbh

Don’t go to fucking ness it’s going to be trash we need info on the good temples. Temples are going to be a main source of town power here because the result doesn’t distinguish between town and mafia and obviously a lot more town can use temples than mafia

"Is there a singular rock, or many? So [too] there must be visitors"

I'm reading Stonehenge like this, the enunciation of the last sentence could change the meaning entirely but I think my interpretation makes more sense than it telling you that there must be visitors.

p sure lotus and confucius r alignment related temples

enemies are probably just an RNG pull where you can be harmed by them, ness/lotus seem like they don't have them

tribute is probably giving up an item for entry

Are you talking about NPC enemies? Where are they mentioned?

but anything stating harm or whatever probably suggests that it is a temple that can hurt you as an RNG pull

i thought more than just lotus/confucius stated enemies but if it's only those then i do think they are alignment related for entrance
