All users are eligible to manage, and you may sign up as a managing pair or as a solo manager in search of a co-manager. Managing pairs will be chosen by the hosts, and mascot preference will be taken into account, but is not guaranteed.
Note: If you are planning to participate in RBTT, you may still sign up as a manager. However, you will not be allowed to play if you end up drafted to a team. RBTT managers are not allowed to play, as well.

Last time, team mascots were limited to pseudo-legendaries. However, we have decided to expand the list of eligible mascots to include non-legendary Mega Pokemon!

Why I'll be a good manager: I've got decent amounts of experience managing multiple tours, I managed UUFPL twice, reaching playoffs both times, managed LJDA also getting playoffs both times (and winning once), I managed EPL reaching finals both times (out of 12 teams and winning one of them) and finally, managed UUWC twice, where in the current edition we're currently on first seed with guaranteed playoffs. Paysa, whilst not having managerial experience, is an extremely active randbats player, playing Gens 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 and as a result, is able to scout all the hidden gems on ladder.

Me and Paysa have also been involved with many RandBats tours, including the first RBEL, WCoR, CCC and Slam, so we are both fairly accustomed with the rands tournament scene. I’m also part of the Randbats Council so I’m involved in format and set changes, whereas Paysa is a Rands Driver who is very involved with the community, from set development to hosting a Slam open and helping around the rands room in general.

Combined, we have the managerial experience, community familiarity and skill in randbats formats to effectively scout and develop an amazing team for RBEL, and look forward to giving newcomers the same opportunity we were given last year :)

Why i'll be a good manager : Ive been managing many team tournaments on smogon for the past 4 years on multiple communities in NU, ZU, BDSP, Randbat, and SM. Most notably I won ZUOL, SMPL, and BDSPPL as a manager. I've also managed France in WCOR in 2023, letting us escape qualifiers and setting up on good track for our semi performance in 2024.
On top of my managerial experience, both JJ and I have been very involved in the randbat tournament community, starting for the past two years in RBTT and WCOR. JJ has also had very solid results in Slam and other random battle tournaments with a recent final in Animé Mangas room random battle tournament. This means that we both have a great knowledge of the randbat tournament scene. Moreover JJ and I have been playing in plethora of team tournaments in other smogon subforums, providing us futher tournament experience and knowledge.
We both believe that we can provide what an RBEL team needs to succeed and are looking forward leading a team to victory

Why would you make a good manager?: Managed team Asia a lot and previously managed in rbtt too, yonmd has been part of the rands community since forever. Both of us have frequently engaged in the rands scene and will create a great environment for the team to win this edition of RBEL with.

What is your managing experience, if any?

Most recently, I managed CCC with Petros to a finals finish. I also managed solo and with other players in the Tournament Room Forum Scene as well as in Ubers/AG. I have also managed for Asia and Oceania in RoA/OM tours and sidetours. While JustOut has not managed any tournaments, he is committed to being active for the sake of Pokemon and has been a positive presence in the many teams we've shared together. He will do test games even in Gen 1 RB if it means helping people get practice.

Why would you make a good manager?

JustOut and I have vast experience and quality results in Randbats tours, including multiple RBTT appearances and a victory, WCOR finals, and Slam playoffs (8th and 2nd seed respectively this year); as such, we have a good understanding of what to look for in gameplay from up-and-coming players. The two of us are also quite ingrained in the Randbats room on PS, playing in various room tournaments and events like Auth Challenge. It is because of this tie to the community that we know the best players even amongst the lesser known. JustOut and I spend copious amounts of time on the ladder, and battle people who have never even heard of RBTT or RBEL. It's also the reason we didn't apply for RBTT manager roles, because unlike RBTT, RBEL's main focus is about putting the spotlight on newer talents in our community. We also want to create a team environment that will have our members want to come back for the next iteration for – that is, if they don't get promoted to RBTT first. ;)

Why i'll be a good manager : I guess we'll find out whether or not during the tour!?
Frosty will be editing later, but he agreed on adding me as co manager, so confirming for that!

Adding a case for myself:
I'm an experienced randbats guy both in team and singles tours, most notably having a positive record in the winning benelux wcor run and playing in multiple slam play offs. I'm also fairly active in the rands room, slipping into the top 10 alltime leaderboard this year and played a lot of ladders, making me knowledgeable about the rands scene. While not having any official tour managing experience, I have some succesful team tour managing experience in Dutch room related tours. Most importantly, I always try to bring a positive influence in teams!

Proposed Mascot: :Tyranitar:Tyranitar:Tyranitar:

What is your managing experience, if any? I managed team Togepi in ccc two years in a row and team Italy in wcor this year, where we qualified for top 8 as the first seed after regular season. Icy had his first managerial experience a few months ago, managing team Wynaut in ccc.

Why would you make a good manager?: Ever since I joined the community 2 years ago, I have become one of its most active personalities, joining almost every randbats events and becoming a moderator of the room. The countless interactions I have had in my time here are the main reason why I believe I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to the players (and people) of the community.
Furthermore, being Amaranth's co-manager in this edition of wcor also represented a great opportunity for me to observe closely how one of the best managers and drafters we have here operates, so I hope to carry the lessons I have learned from him in this new journey.

In just one year, Icy went from being a relatively unknown gen 7 ladder hero to branch out and become one of the most accomplished newcomers of 2024, winning the Battle Factory Open, reaching top 16 in Rands Slam Playoffs and being selected in wcor and even UUWC now. His involvement with pokemon and rands specifically led him to become an active and respected driver in the room too. Icy never stopped cheering his time on team Tyranitar last year, which represented a perfect trampoline to improve as a player and move the first steps in a community that welcomed him with open arms. After receiving the blessing of former managers PrinceOfAllTacos and autumn, we are bringing back team Tyranitar with the same goals in mind: create a healthy environment where a mix of newcomers and more proven players can hone their skills, develop good relationships and hopefully march all together towards victory!

What is your managing experience, if any?
While my managing experience is admittedly a bit limited (only managing our WCOR 2024 team to a win!, and ghost managing some other tours), this gap is perfectly filled by MANNAT, who has managed many tournaments on Smogon, with the majority of them at least making playoffs. MANNAT has managed SPL, SCL, WCOP, won a number of unofficial tournaments as manager, managed ROAPL, OUPL, and managed a countless number of other tournaments throughout his history on this site.

Why would you make a good manager?
With my deep understanding of the random battles community, combined with MANNAT's veteran managing experience, our managing duo perfectly compliments each other's strengths and weaknesses in order to efficiently acquire victory. Having won the last WCOR and the last two RBTTs, I am fortunate enough to understand what will be needed to win a tournament like this one. MANNAT and I WILL be putting our all into this tournament, making sure to diligently do our research, which will allow us to assemble an unstoppable squadron of RBEL battlers.

Why i'll be a good manager : I've been in the randbats room for years now, been participating in tours like Randslam, Wcor and RBTT (2years ago) and co-managed RBEL last year as Team garchomp co-manager. We had a great team with a a great atmosphere in our discord and all, and i seek to do the same this year, with the help of Slikkles o7
As for Slikkles, he's more recent in the landscape of randbats, but he has shown that he is a capable player, making it to randslam Playoffs and reached top16. He also is dedicated and willing to do good (as a matter of fact, HE is the one that reached out to me to try to manage a team in a teamtour, that's how dedicated he is :] ), very active in ladders and chats, and i'm confident he'd make a very good manager, bringing a good mood in our team and i'm pretty sure we both can share our experiences and knowledges to a team, as well as learn from them :]

You weren’t ready for this but here we are! A couple of legacy Tyranitars are looking for a promotion!

Why we would make good managers:

While we are an inexperienced duo when it comes to managing, here are the reasons we would be suited to and excel at managing RBEL 2. Over the last year we’ve learned how to scout talent, construct a roster and foster a healthy and fun team environment. Having gone through this tour before, we understand the significance of this tournament to newcomers and existing community members, and know how far a good environment can go in terms of player development.

John and I are super familiar with the rands community, making our team tour debut in the previous iteration of this tour with team Tyranitar. From our experience working with Poat and Autumn, John's with MDB and Sylveon and mine with Pulse and Drifting as managers I have no doubt we would draft a stellar team, maintain success and make the experience a smooth and enjoyable one for all involved. Our pairing is also fantastic timezone coverage wise (EU and AUS), and given our personal circumstance we can be readily available to assist with scheduling shenanigans/substitutions, which are bound to occur in a tour where there will no doubt be a bunch of tour newcomers.

We are both quality randsers, (John having qualified for Slam playoffs, myself qualifying for RBLT, and both of us having deep open runs and playing in WCoR) and we will be able to give clear and helpful feedback to our players across every format.

In essence, we are seeking an opportunity as managers to do the same for others as this tour did for us, and act as a launchpad for good players and good people. Thanks for hearing us out.

Confirming that we're here to wreck the competition! This tour being about fun and enabling a lot of newcomers to enter the scene, good vibes is what it's all about, and that's what we're bringing as passionate cheerleaders and managers; we're never gonna leave a buddy behind! I still remember how great it felt to be drafted in last RBEL, with it also being mine and Ghost's first team tour ever. We hope to pass on that feeling to all the excited soon-to-be Gengars.

Previous 5 RBTTs, WCOR, TPP and some other tours that were a few years ago that I can't remember. Michael is a WCOR manager, previous RBTT manager, and although not managed, has taken part in every official tour going.

Why would you make a good manager?
The most historic RBTT manager teams up with the greatest random battler of all time to give newcomers a true experience of RBTT and the best possible environment to hone their craft to become the next greatest random battler of all time. While I am also managing the returning champs of RBTT this year, Michael's dedication to Random Battles results in a powerful combination of Michaels famous scouting, my drafting experience, Michael's ability to see the game like no other and impart his wisdom, all while I am there to ensure everyone has the best time possible! Our knowledge of the community can't be overestimated and we're looking forward to meeting many new teammates faces and provide an opportunity that is like no other.

I thought long and hard about this….. As a former member of team Arcanine from RBTT, I wondered if any pseudo or mega could live up to the reputation of the great orange dog.
Finally, it came to me. I am hereby petitioning that one more pseudo be added to this list. A pseudo who has been overlooked for years, in spite of his rock-hard willpower.

TEAM SUDOWOODO FOR RBEL BABYYYYYY

What is your managing experience, if any?:
None

Why would you make a good manager?:
I've been consistently playing rands for over half a decade now, and I shall do my best to drill the fundamentals into this team. I'm on the dev council and I'm very good at maintaining a cool head in stressful situations. Most importantly, I know many community members, and would like to build a team that's both competitive AND fun. The team Sudowoodo discord will be open to all weary travelers and RBEL rejects.

Manager : meamPearl (hi)
Co Manager: the wonderful El químico del pueblucho
Mascot : :altaria-mega: girlboss queen shit period
Why i'll be a good manager :
While we do not possess managerial experience, we do possess unlimited potential to shock the world.
In terms of skill, my partner has been in the community for 5+ years, having competed in several prestigious tours such as RBTT and PSPL; therefore, they have an expansive knowledge of the playerbase and are more than capable of discerning talent from the pool of prospective players. Meanwhile, while I don't have expansive tournament success in my first year in the community (I never said I was playing), I've more than proven my worth by reaching the leaderboard on numerous generations (most notably top 25 on gen 7 at one point) and bagging upsets in the most recent Doubles Open. Also, my own tours experiences in the last year while also being actively invested in last year's RBEL (as a cheerleader) have allowed me to notice strengths in players that others may not notice; we can utilize these "quirks" (see the MHA reference) in our players to most effectively crush the competition. My partner also shines in identifying potential in lesser-known players, a testament to their experience in the community.
Another tenet of a good RBEL team is a sense of community and a positive atmosphere. After successfully infiltrating an RBEL and WCOR team server to act as cheerleader, the most important thing I've learned is that not every aspect of a team tour should be taken seriously. I believe that a good attitude is a very important part of what makes a good player, and my partner and I are committed to ensuring that our team is in a comfortable and welcoming environment. My eccentricity combined with my partner's more composed nature allows us to simultaneously handle managerial duties in regards to team success and atmosphere.
Overall, my eccentricity and dedication to finding players who wield many blades and my partner's overall experience and skill of identifying raw talent and underlying potential in all players is a package deal that shouldn't be underestimated because of our lack of initial managerial experience. The initial purpose of RBEL was to give up-and-coming players a chance to have their moment in the spotlight; who's to say the same can't be true for managers? We can truly leave a lasting impact on the rands scene, and for the better.

Lastly, :altaria-mega:

Why i'll be a good manager :
Do we have any managing experience? No (unless my person does which in that case good for us I think) . But what we do have is the potential to shock the world and overcome the heavy odds against us.
Being a chronically online person, I stalk these forums and the rands room more often than people think and along with having been in the community for a whole year now (I know, such an accomplishment), I've taken enough notes on players to discern who would and wouldn't be effective in this prestigious tour. Meanwhile, my partner (I'll glaze them when I find someone I can confirm) Overall, our combined skillset gives us the ability to construct and manage a well-rounded team while also promoting the positive atmosphere this tournament encourages.
In conclusion, the original purpose of RBEL was to allow up-and-coming players to have their moment in the spotlight; nobody ever said the same couldn't be true for prospective managers.
0 experience as well u convinced me, lets make the world go round B) if appliable (unless taken)
