Welcome to the playoffs phase of the Random Battles Ladder Tournament! Over six weeks, six cycles, and six generations, 24 players have qualified to participate in this tournament.

Tournament Rules
  • The playoff phase will consist of a single elimination bracket, and each match is to be played in a best-of-three series.
  • Each player will choose one generation of random battle to play, and if a third game is needed to break the tie, it will be played in [Gen 7] Random Battle. Generation 7 can be selected by players as their generation of choice as well.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
  • Replays of the series must be posted to verify a win; if replays are not posted, the series doesn't count.

General Tournament Rules
  • Scheduling: Attempt to contact your opponent via VMs as soon as possible. It is strongly advised to schedule publicly there on Smogon so the hosts can make any necessary activity calls. If you cannot get in contact with your opponent, inform the hosts in this thread so we can make any necessary substitution. If you have made no visible contact, the hosts may substitute you out for another player. Extensions may be granted by the hosts if both players have shown visbile contact and avaliability to get their game done in the extended time frame. You can visit the link for scheduling help.
  • Timer Clause and Disconnections: The timer is not required to be on during games; however, if the timer is on and a player runs out of time, their opponent wins the game via timeout. If a player disconnects and thus times out, this also counts as a loss for the player who disconnected.

For future reference, if y'all are making contact in a way that is not visible to us, please state that you have done so in the thread.
