BoRida vs odr - I haven't played super close attention but I believe Bo is having a better tour overall. Could just be completely wrong though.
Prosaic vs chemcoop - Prosaic is coming off his first/only loss of the tour, but I still think he comes through and takes finals.
apologies vs GaryAjax - Gary is a 1 time CCC tournament champion. That's enough for me! Go Bunnelbaes.
mc56556 vs ajhockeystar - I beat AJ in smash with Isabelle once, but he beat me 150 times after that.
Jytcampbell vs bugzinator - bugzin0-8r bugzin8-0r's got this
xGang vs Roginald - Rogi and I took a picture at prom. xGang didn't even come :[
maroon vs Anthonyy23 - I've never rooted against Anthony and I never will.
Pirate Princess vs TheCoastsOfToast - close, but based off of cavi, it goes to TCOT
Losconosciuto vs Memoric - i cannot comfortably make a pick on this one. Don't know the players, and I'm bad at the meta.
ORAS-Mega vs TJ - TJ goat
Lambovino vs Z Strats - This is my dream car.
lvl100Blaziken vs TacticalFacepalms - This is probably the hardest one to pick for me, but I'll give the edge to cde.

Gen 8 Random Battle: Prosaic vs chemcoop - the GOAT P&S ended Prosaic's winstreak so he's still in shock
Gen 7 Random Battle: apologies vs GaryAjax - will only need to apologize for one instance of hax when he wins
Gen 5 Random Battle: mc56556 vs ajhockeystar - star = starmie, this isn't gen 1 but that's still pretty good
Gen 4 Random Battle: Jytcampbell vs bugzinator - gonna be a close one but I think bugzi will pull it off
Gen 3 Random Battle: xGang vs Roginald - rogi is the 1 in gang's 7-1 but he's not on a winstreak rn so it's not happening again
Gen 8 Monotype Random Battle: maroon vs Anthonyy23 - seems like a pretty safe color (spoiler: matchup)
Gen 8 Hackmons Cup: Pirate Princess vs TheCoastsOfToast - pirates don't typically eat toast [citation needed]
Gen 8 Random Doubles Battle: LoSconosciuto vs Memoric - memoric is dubs god apparently, not that loscono isn't good too
Gen 7 Battle Factory: ORAS-Mega vs TJ - I have a feeling this will will come down to g3 matchup
Gen 7 BSS Factory: Lambovino vs Z Strats - apparently z's only loss so far is to lambo, so somehow it will happen again
Gen 1 Random Battle: lvl100Blaziken vs TacticalFacepalms - there's no blaziken in gen1, why didn't he go play HC where he'd roll a wonder guard shift gear recover bolt strike glacial lance pikachu smh
where of course I'm predicting this because I want to see 15, rather than 12, good matches. gl both!

p.s. Gen1 better be played last :psysly: I also predict one of the teams will go from 3-1 to 3-5 intraweek but will pull it back

Gen 3 Random Battle: xGang vs Roginald - idk if Gapdos would actually pick this since rogi isn't bad but eh I trust gang to pull through
Gen 8 Random Doubles Battle: LoSconosciuto vs Memoric - safer than bssf for kyogre to pick, memoric should take this though not super comfortably
Gen 8 Random Battle: Prosaic vs chemcoop - so now the whole finals comes down to this, whereupon prosaic wins upon matchup. rands at its finest :bloblul:

I'd like to end this with a quick thank-you to the community for making this such an enjoyable journey. Last year was my first year on Hoopa and my first teamtour on this site, and it was a greatly refreshing and new experience, but this year was even better. After mostly staying on the sidelines for much of spring/summer 2020 and only laddering random formats to 1500 but not really participating in much, I could not have imagined getting drafted to such a GOAT team again (and so early, too). I had my ups and downs for an average 4-4 record but what was really great was getting involved in the community and simply showing team spirit (hoop hoop!). Shoutouts to Nate and Irpa for being great managers and the rest of Team Hoopa for being so fun and so supportive as well, I will definitely remember this year as something special.
