Heatranator's and Sddi6's teams look dangerous, no lie. Kudos to fluff! for the replays and making Bisharp look like a king. I wish I could've had more time to check out Sneakyplanner's team, very intriguing.

Kushalos team gets my vote. I love terrain teams. Thanks for bringing it, Kush.

https://pokepast.es/c99e9a0085ce1aa0

Its a hard sun, with torkoal now in RU. We're gonna ABUSE (without jock) of this archetype with 2 sweeper (venusaur and lilligant-hisui), 1 cleaner (typhlosion-hisui with the choice scarf and eruption), 1 wallbreaker (slither wing with the choice band + Protosynthesis, which its a total of 789 stat of atk in sun, its also the priority of the team), and 2 spinner (because we want to keep typhlosion for spam eruption).

This week we're doing another item category: Resist berries. Ever hated being weak to a type? Well now there's a solution to that. Resist berries are a classic for setup sweepers that can use that one turn to do something special. You can pick a matchup that is usually negative and turn it on its head. Plenty of room to experiment, just remember that colbur berry to resist knock off is basic.

Submission deadline: Teams should be submitted by 11:59 PM (GMT-8) on Friday, December 6th voting will then go until 11:59 PM (GMT-8) on Sunday December 8th.

When im playing this team i always lead poli to set rain and switch into another team member if im worried about whatevers coming out for the moves i like the trapping effect of whirlpool with the other moves on the set of encore (to lock into a non dangerous move) and perish song (to take out an important threat) and i beam for damage against grasses and flyers also poli is built bulky so it can repeatedly switch in and set back up rain

...where resist berry
https://pokepast.es/954fa053d995aed4 - Chople Berry Empoleon Team (Does this work?)
:empoleon: :Umbreon: :mienshao: :Zapdos-Galar: :weezing-galar: :Gligar:

Chople Berry Empoleon set is based off Shuca Berry Empoleon set. It's a lure for Scarf Gapdos and Terrakion. Started out wanting to lure in Zapdos-G without being too obvious so having only 8 defense EVs and not being able to KO right away with ice beam and having to rely on rocky helm chip from G-Weezing was the way to go for me. If the opponent gets impatient mid-game and just goes for super effective move then bam, chople berry into ice beam. Then, it became good against Terrakion too but more immediate due to Surf KO'ing off the bat.

Shuca Berry Fezandipiti Balance
:fezandipiti: :milotic: :goodra hisui: :talonflame: :krookodile: :slither wing:

:pmd/fezandipiti: So, I decided to use fezandipiti for this week, as I think it can pair well with resist berries. In this case, I went with shuca berry. This allows you to much more easily hit the ground types in the tier for big damage, specifically krookodile and flygon, who are usually faster (if krook is scarf that is) and hit you with e-quake, but cannot switch in directly. This allows you to nail them for big damage with moonblast. I went with heat wave over u-turn to deal with steel types more effectively, as it means that fez can on its own take on most of its normal weaknesses.

:pmd/milotic: A bulky water type with preferably a pivot move was a good core with fez, and I decided on milotic this time. The main tech of this set is mirror coat, which can help against special attackers by nailing them for big damage. Tera dragon is here to resist grass and electric moves in a pinch.

:pmd/goodra hisui: I needed a steel type and preferably something with good bulk. In comes hisuian goodra. I decided to do the specially defensive set, as it can spread knock off very easily and do good damage. E-quake hits the steel types of the tier for good damage, protect can attain more leftovers chip if needed and Draco meteor can do solid burst damage if needed. Tera fairy can flip the fighting type matchup in a pinch while also helping it a lot against fellow dragon types.

:pmd/talonflame: I needed some hazard control on this team, so talonflame is up next. This is just a standard set and helps with the physical defense of the team.

:pmd/krookodile: We needed some hazard control and speed control, so krook is here next for both. This is the standard scarf set but with stealth rocks over stone edge.

:pmd/slither wing: Finally, I wanted something that can help revenge kill targets but also could contribute to the defensive side of the team. In comes slither wing, which can act as a revenge killer, get in teammates with u-turn and keep itself healthy with morning sun. This is basically the standard bulky pivot set but with first impression over will-o-wisp.

Double Shuca Tspikes Oricorio
:dragalge::rhyperior::slowbro::zapdos-galar::entei::oricorio-pom-pom:
https://pokepast.es/4c41595948078b27

:pmd/dragalge::pmd/rhyperior::pmd/oricorio-pom-pom:
The goal of this core is to weaken Oricorio's checks and counters to eventually clean up with it. Dragalge is an underrated mon rn imo and the best TSpikes setter in the tier. It can set TSpikes and beats all of our hazard removers, even being able to tank a Noivern Draco from full. It can also burn Steels with Scald. Shuca Berry allows Dragalge to reliably set hazards against Rhyperior and also heavily chip it through both Draco Meteor and Scald. Meanwhile, Rhyperior also pressures all of our hazard removers, sets Rocks, and beats Steels. It can bait Empoleon and KO it, tanking Surf or Grass Knot with Tera and OHKOing back with Earthquake, which is important for Oricorio.

:pmd/slowbro:
We complete the defensive backbone with Slowbro, who is able to take on the Fightings of the tier as well as Rain threats like Barraskewda, and spread burns on the likes of Empoleon. It's also a secondary win con in case Oricorio faces like 3 hard counters or something.

:pmd/zapdos-galar::pmd/entei:
Our offensive guys. Both of them beat Steels and offer counterplay to Bisharp. top tier Scarf Gadpos brings speed control and most importantly is Spikes immune (we don't play hazard removal). Boots Entei is another hazard immune mon who beats Steels and spreads burn on poison-immune mons while bringing priority with Extreme Speed.

Replays
thank you heatranator for the games :3

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ru-2257787871
Shuca allows Dragalge to click Draco freely turn 1. Oricorio gets to do some things mid game and Dragalge shows its defensive use.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ru-2257786259
cringe spdef drop from Psychic prevents Oricorio from sweeping, but it would have happened if not for that
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ru-2257785230
very low ladder opponent but oricorio sweeps so I'm happy
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ru-2257778727?p2
I figured I'd show my opponent hitting 9 triple axels in a row + avoiding a sacred fire burn

Ladder mysteriously stopped flooding me with stall opponents as soon as I started running TSpikes + Oricorio so I don't have any replays of that MU to show.

Vote goes for fluff on this one, very cool and fun looking team where shuca dragalge definitely feels like a natural fit.

Heatranator shuca berry fez definitely feels forced to comply with the competition requirement imo, doesnt really anything for anyone and with talon and bulky slither wing dont think ground types shouldnt be a problem
