Ever since walking wake came out I have been using this team. Rain teams with swampert are annoying and take forever to take down. Got any suggestions?

Better Call Saul (Dragapult) (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Hydro Pump
Dragapult is pretty frail, so I gave it Focus Sash to survive super effective hits, then faint the opponent.
I decided to use Thunderbolt over a dragon move because thunderbolt could deal with rain teams and Pokemon like Pelipper.
Flamethrower is nice cause I can hit grass types super effectively. Thats about it, Hydro Pump and Shadow Ball for general damage.
Solid Snake (Walking Wake) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Hydro Steam
- Flamethrower
- Tera Blast
Tera steel and Tera blast can usually OHKO the fairy types that try to kill it, plus it resists both its original weaknesses.
I’m using a sun team, so I use Hydro Steam over Hydro Pump.
I made its speed higher than its Special Attack so it can outspeed threats.
Dragon Pulse over Draco Meteor because I don’t want to have my Special Attack halved and need to switch.
Queengambit (Kingambit) (F) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 68 SpD / 188 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
While playing I found that if I Sucker Punched and the other Pokemon also Sucker Punched, the faster pokemon moves first and hits, but the slower Pokemon moves second and fails. Not really important, just wanted to share that. Anyway, its role is to basically just deal damage. It is that simple, and I don’t really have other reasons. Just an attacking Pokemon.
Skylar White (Diancie-Mega) @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dazzling Gleam
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire
Dazzling Gleam makes fighting types go boom and it is generally just a strong Pokemon. Although I do not like how it just dies to a single super effective move.
Mystical Fire can kill many steel types going to kill it, and while Ferrothorn might not die in one hit from it, a Ferrothorn switching in will take enough damage to get into OHKO range. Earth Power because I hate bulky ground weak pokemon.
Oogway (Torkoal) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Drought
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 12 HP / 100 Atk / 164 Def / 232 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake
- Yawn
- Rapid Spin
Torkoal is able to deal damage, remove hazards, and set up sun.
Torkoal doesn’t learn moves like U-turn or Volt Switch, so I decided to settle for Yawn, as it pretty much meant a safe switch into Walking Wake as they would usually also be switching, and heavy duty boots prevents hazards from wearing it down each switch in
Filthy Frank (Dragonite) (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Dragon Dance
- Defog
- Ice Spinner
Defog is something that I should probably remove and replace with Roost. Dragonite is very strong. It can Tera and get STAB Extreme Speed,
Ice Spinner can usually OHKO a dragon type,
And Defog removes hazards.
I need a grass move.
