Gen 3 Rate my (way too) Overused Team

Yeah, I posted this team a little more than a month ago, but I didn't want to bump such an old topic so I decided to just make a new thread. I also made a few EV and moveset changes too.

So basically, I just got back into competitive battling and downloaded Netbattle again about a month ago. I'm still learning again, but this is my best team so I wanted to get a rate. Yeah, I know the nicknames suck, sue me.

I honestly don't care if you flame the heck out of this team, as long as it's a solid rate I really don't care. So yeah, any weaks and stuff you can point out would be most appreciated. ^_^

My team is really standard and a bit boring, also lacks a spinner, but spikes don't really bug me much. I'm open to most anything so fire away. Here's my team:

Raikou @ Leftovers ** Wrathkou
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Crunch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Thunderbolt

Yeah, it isn't standard. Crunch (OMG) comes in handy more than I thought it would. It is probably my most valuable pokemon.

-LEAD-
Salamence (F) @ Choice Band ** Monstermence
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flamethrower
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide

Choice Band Salamence for the win. It leads and crap, hits lots of stuff hard.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers ** Swampstar
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Hydro Pump
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Rest

Mixpert. Not much else to say really. Don't remember who gave me these EVs, but they work well.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 240 HP / 56 Def / 16 Spd / 148 SAtk / 48 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Fire Punch
- Psychic
- Wish

Yeah, I like Fire Punch more than electric attacks on this thing, I'll admit it. This will often sweeep teams, either this or Raikou it seems. Wish Support is nice as well.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers ** Ironwing
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Atk / 212 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes

Skarmory for my physical walling pleasure.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers ** Nurse of Death
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Ice Beam

Yeah, Cleric and special wall...it's blissey, of course! Not very original I'll admit, but oh well. Ice Beam for stuff like McGar and a few dragons.

Well, the team works if you don't play too defensively. Just like other Skarmbliss teams, you have to be ready to deal with Magneton + Dugtrio combo (although Dugtrio can't exactly take down both Raikou and Blissey), CB Fighter's and their Focus Punches, Tyranitar (should be covered by Swampert and Jirachi), and other skarmbliss counters.

Magneton + Curselax / MoPCross would have an easy sweep against your team imo. So does Mixed Salamence (Brick Break, Dragon Claw, Fire Blast, HP Grass). With no escape from Leech Seed and its powerful Special Attacks, Sceptile could slowly wear your team down.

Against defensive teams, Blissey, Skarmory, CBmence, and Swampert at Rest all provide easy access to Spiking, and CBmence and Raikou are stallable. Jirachi's durability and Wish support may be able to pull it through, but it is very risky.

One way is to stock Dugtrio into your party to save your Skarmory (Also Substitute > Rest could further prolong Magneton from killing your Skarm before Dugtrio gets to it). Even this is not enough to guarantee fainting Magneton before it brings down Skarmory, but Dugtrio also traps and kill Blissey for Raikou to sweep. Of course you can't rely on Dugtrio to beat both in the same team, since Spikes could weaken it enough for a KO from Blissey's Ice Beam, as well as other Dugtrio getting to it after the first kill. CBtrio should replace CBmence.

Alternatively, a defensive Metal Sound Zapdos could work very well with Dugtrio, Spikes, and Wish Support. I am thinking of a set with Thunderbolt, HP Grass, and Rest. This set should stall Sceptile, hit Lax hard after Metal Sound (if it couldn't, Jirachi or Swampert could finish the job), and should provide an easy switch-in into Elemence's HP Grass / Brick Break aimed at Swampert / Blissey without inflicting Spikes. Not to mention it adds great resistances to your team, easing the defensive load from each player. I know you fancy your Raikou, but Zapdos fits this team better imo. All in all, Zapdos and Dugtrio over Raikou and CBmence for less walling from enemy, as well as better coverage in defense and offense.

Also Swampert has many other options than Rest that may prevent an opening to your team. The ones appropriate for your team are Protect, Roar, Toxic, or Hidden Power [Bug].
