Persian
- Slash
- Body Slam / Hyper Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Bubble Beam

Persian is a unique threat in RBY OU. Slash is extremely difficult to switch into and ignores Reflect, making Persian an interesting option for hyper offense teams, as it is one of few Pokemon in the game that can threaten Snorlax with Reflect up, revenge kill Tauros, and avoid being walled by Chansey. Body Slam allows Persian to paralyze Starmie on the switch in and beat Snorlax more reliably, while Hyper Beam allows it to finish off Pokemon and play for desperate critical hits in situations where there are no other options. Thunderbolt and Bubble Beam provide coverage against Cloyster and Rhydon, respectively. Despite its devastating wallbreaking power, Persian has many clear weaknesses: it's extremely frail, being 2HKOed by most of the stronger attackers in the tier, and is exponentially easier to handle once paralyzed, meaning it has to fear anything carrying Thunder Wave. It's also walled by Gengar and generally helpless against healthy Starmies, both of which can easily ruin Persian's wallbreaking ambitions. Nevertheless, if these obstacles are cleared and Persian is given an opportunity, it is capable of slashing entire teams apart.

Hello! I am still OU QC and have done wayyyyy too much with this Pokemon the past few months. Implement for QC 1/1.

Facts are there, it's mainly grammar and making this flashier to read. Straightforward Pokemon, straightforward spotlight. I think this may end up pushing the word count a mite bit so be careful when implementing.

Persian is a unique threat in RBY OU. (mmm, bit generic. You could get away with "Persian used to be OU for a reason!" for that historical factor, Facebook boomers love that.) Slash is extremely difficult to switch into and ignores Reflect, making Persian an interesting option for hyper offensive teams, as it is one of few Pokemon in the game that can threaten a Snorlax with Reflect up and revenge kill Tauros without being walled by Chansey at the same time. (this is a run-on sentence but I have literally no clue how to split this off without inflating word count or making it worse so I'll let a GPer deal with it) Body Slam allows it Persian to paralyze Starmie on the switch-in and beat Snorlax more reliably, (this implies Body Slam would paralyze Snorlax with context clues, you may need to be more precise) while Hyper Beam allows it to finish kills Pokemon off from higher ranges and play for desperate critical hits in situations where there are no other options. Thunderbolt and Bubble Beam provide coverage against Cloyster and Rhydon respectively. Despite its devastating wallbreaking power, Persian has many clear weaknesses: it's extremely frail, being 2HKOed by most of the stronger attackers in the tier, and it is exponentially easier to handle once paralyzed, meaning it has to fear anything carrying Thunder Wave. It's is also functionally (it's not recovering any health but Persian is never winning anyway, let's cut this for word count) walled by Gengar and generally helpless against healthy Starmies, both of which can easily ruin Persian's wallbreaking ambitions. Nevertheless, if these obstacles are cleared and Persian is given an opportunity, it is capable of Slashing entire teams apart.(feels inches from having something with more "BAM" to it but everything I come up with sounds worse)

GP 1/1! Just for future reference, "switch-in" refers to mon that can switch in (Skarmory is a switch-in for Rillaboom) and "switch in" is the the action (Skarmory can switch in on Rillaboom).
