Introduction

RBY Ubers World Championship is a standard RBY Ubers Tournament with a goal to find the best RBY Ubers player. Just like in RBY OU World Championship, rounds will be best of 3 until 16 are left. Then they'll be two double round-robin group stages, going down to 8 and then 4. The semi-finals and finals will be best of 5.

RBY Ubers Format:

• Banned Moves: Dig, Double Team, Fissure, Fly, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Minimize (Invulnerability + Evasion + OHKO moves).
• Clauses: Freeze Clause, Sleep Clause, Species Clause.

Tournament Format:

• Round 1 - 32 best of 3 matches (64 unseeded players with a substitution period)
• Round 2 - 16 best of 3 matches (32 unseeded players)
• Round 3 - 4 x 4 double round-robin groups (16 unseeded players)
• Round 4 - 2 x 4 double round-robin groups (2 x 1st and 2 x 2nd Round 3 seeds in each group)

Tie rules:

• Battle ties will not be counted in any best of or round-robin match.
• Ties between 1st and/or 2nd positions in a group will result in a single battle or single round-robin of battles repeated, until positions within the group are established.

Arrange location: Visitor Messages on the Smogon Forums.
Battle location: Pokémon Showdown! (Pokémon Perfect server - adv. connect: pokemonperfect.com on PO if both users agree)
Bugs to watch out for:

• On PS, while under the effects of transform, the stats are not copied from the target (but the boosts are, though not initially applied) and the CH ratio is mistakingly copied from the target, rather than being the user's (Mew/Ditto's).
• On PO, while under the effects of transform, critical hits use the user's (Mew/Ditto) Stats for CH calculation, but copy the target's critical hit ratio. It should be the other way round.

I believe you now, marco, that you can differ from stall. That team matchuped well against mine, restricting how I could fight with stall. I could fight back with Mew though (it got haxed g2) but showdown transform mechanics would mean I probably lose anyway. I also fought back with Mewtwo (and Chansey), but Tricking did well to keep the pressure up and deny any good opportunities.

1-1 vs. Lutra in some good games, although the second game was way too long since it was just pp stalling for like 200 turns. RBY Ubers is certainly not as much fun as I imagined.
