Mega Scizor is a threatening setup sweeper, utilizing its high base Attack and useful typing to gain setup opportunities on Pokemon like Weavile, Tapu Lele, and Rillaboom while also being a powerful late-game cleaner once checks like Gouging Fire and Zapdos are weakened or taken out of the picture. Bullet Punch allows Mega Scizor to improve its matchup against offensive teams and guarantee a KO against certain revenge killers such as Mega Lopunny and Tapu Koko once boosted and after slight chip damage. Close Combat deals with Steel-types like Heatran and Ferrothorn while also 2HKOing Corviknight and putting Raging Bolt into KO range from Bullet Punch at +2. Dual Wingbeat hits Toxapex and Tapu Lele, netting a 2HKO against a would-be check in the former and allowing it to more reliably check the latter. This variant of Mega Scizor exclusively fits on hyper offense teams that like its inherent defensive utility. Landorus-T is a good teammate that sets Stealth Rock, allowing Mega Scizor to overwhelm checks like Gouging Fire lacking Heavy-Duty Boots and Mega Charizard Y much more easily while also appreciating it coming in on Weavile attempting to prevent Landorus-T from setting up Stealth Rock. Landorus-T also blanket checks Pokemon such as Gouging Fire and Mega Medicham, which prevent Mega Scizor from staying in and setting up, and Swords Dance variants with Rockium Z can lure in Zapdos for it. Pokemon like Serperior and Dragonite like Mega Scizor dealing with their offensive checks such as Weavile and Tapu Lele; in return, they take care of Pokemon like Dondozo and Volcarona, so it is able to clean up more easily. Mega Scizor can struggle against Pokemon like Rocky Helmet Landorus-T, Volcarona, and Zapdos, which could potentially stop it in its tracks, making teammates like Urshifu-R and Ogerpon-C great partners. Mega Scizor also struggles with faster Pokemon that resist Bullet Punch like Ogerpon-W and opposing Urshifu-R, which makes Dragonite another good teammate. However, Urshifu-R, Ogerpon-C, and Dragonite all appreciate Mega Scizor's defensive presence in checking Weavile and Rillaboom.

Mega Scizor is a threatening setup sweeper, utilizing its high base attack and useful typing, allowing it to gain setup opportunities on Pokemon like Weavile, Tapu Lele a little shaky due to hpfire but ok ig, and Galarian Slowking <= these usually carry flamethrower + we dont even have knock off, can put like rilla or something while also being a powerful late game cleaner once checks like Gouging Fire and Zapdos are weakened or taken out of the picture. Bullet Punch is a useful form of priority, allowing Mega Scizor to guarantee a KO against certain revenge killers once boosted, such as Mega Lopunny, Tapu Koko, and Darkrai after a slight amount of chip damage also improves its mu vs opposing offense by being a powerful prio user. Close Combat deals with Steel-types like Heatran and Ferrothorn while also being its strongest attack against Corviknight and Raging Bolt. Dual Wingbeat is an important tool that hits Toxapex and Tapu Lele, netting a 2HKO against a would be check in the former and allowing it to more reliably check the latter. altho this is a max/max spread it would be nice to mention what max speed outspeeds (heatran mostly idk what else) This variant of Mega Scizor exclusively fits on hyper offense teams that like its inherent defensive utility in checking Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Weavile while also being a potentially threatening late game cleaner. Landorus-T is a good teammate that sets Stealth Rock, allowing Mega Scizor to overwhelm checks like Gouging Fire and Mega Charizard Y much easier, while also appreciating it coming in on Weavile attempting to prevent Landorus-T from setting up Stealth Rock. Pokemon like Serperior and Dragonite like Mega Scizor dealing with their offensive checks, such as Weavile and Tapu Lele. In return, they take care of Pokemon like Dondozo and Volcarona so it is able to clean up easier. Mega Scizor can struggle against Pokemon like Rocky Helmet Landorus-T, Volcarona, and Zapdos that could potentially stop it in its tracks can mention faster mons that live bpunch in general, since speed is an issue, so Pokemon like Ogerpon-C and Urshifu-R <= swap these two to flow better since shifu beats the first two and pon beats the last two are good teammates that also appreciate its defensive presence in checking Weavile and Rillaboom.

(more specifically, it outright 2HKOs pivot Corv at +2 and puts Raging Bolt in Bullet Punch range to avoid Thunderclap if you hit it once) Dual Wingbeat is an important tool that hits Toxapex and Tapu Lele, netting a 2HKO against a would be check in the former and allowing it to more reliably check the latter. Landorus-T is a good teammate that sets Stealth Rock, allowing Mega Scizor to overwhelm checks like Gouging Fire either specify offensive Gouging (defensive DD carries HDB) or change out this mention to something like offensive Zapdos and Mega Charizard Y much easier, while also appreciating it coming in on Weavile attempting to prevent Landorus-T from setting up Stealth Rock. (mention stuff Lando-T can Intimidate that Scizor doesn't like staying in on, for example Gouging Fire and Mega Medicham if unboosted, as well as being able to Toxic shared checks like defensive Zapdos) Pokemon like Serperior and Dragonite like Mega Scizor dealing with their offensive checks, such as Weavile and Tapu Lele.
