stoutland should be cheating xd.

Anyways, if I have time I'll be using Simipour. Gonna use the old name, Meowiekins since it only has like 3 suspect matches on it.

Ah hell, I'm having trouble building a Poliwrath team that doesn't suck, so I'm just going to have some fun with a Meowstic team instead.

ALT: hurry up meow
POKEMON: Meowstic, baby

I'll be making a quick team of 6 PU mons. I will post the pastebin as soon as I decide on what 6 mons will fit the UU meta the best. I'll also provide an Alt as soon as I'm confident in the team.

So yeah Mr Mime, I used a life orb nasty plot set which seems nice on paper, with access to psyshock to dent special walls, with STAB Dazzling Gleam to hit the immune umbreon and focus blast to hit steels. Focus blast is especially nice as it 1hkos all the common steels in the tier after a boost with life orb, and people see mime's typing and instinctively switch them in- so I ended up using this in a team with scarf mence, to lure in its answers in the form of fairies and steels and get rid of them.

Its speed tier is decent but not amazing, so I paired it with two neat mons with speed control I've really enjoyed recently, prankster tailwind tornadus and thunder wave cobalion. Along with this I paired some slow-ish wallbreakers in the form of Mega Glalie and sud dd gatr, which also both help in disposing of mence's answers (sub dd gatr sets up on bulky waters like a boss and they cant really do anything about it).

So for mr mime's performance... it was ok. Definitely the weakest member of the team, it really did do work against defensive teams and did its job of clearing the way for mence pretty well, but the issue is that it's just so so so difficult to ever switch in. Its phys def is beedrill tier so whereas you'd think it would have an easy time switching in on the tier's fighting types, it has like a 35% chance to be 2hko'd by mien's hjk after rocks. The only thing it can really safely switch in on in umbreon since foul play does like 30% max with a negative nature and 0 attack IVs.

So yeah, if you can get it in against more defensive teams it'll definitely do work, I'm just not entirely sure it's worth using over say, nasty plot azelf besides the ability to get past umbreon more easily. There might be merit in baton pass sets or something, but I couldn't find anything it could really safely pass to.

Err lol I just realised I have no replays, I'll go get some lol:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/uususpecttest-216617931 - mr mime gets rid of empoleon and chesnaught, did exactly what it needed to do.

Not getting any more because I just bumped into scarf machamp and max hp, max speed slurpuff and that tells me it's time to stop.

Skankovich wins this round with a fun choice of Mr. Mime. Well done.

RW 13 will be posted on Sunday, as I am starting a new job and need some time to get settled in.
